A/N: Sorry about the delay with writing this story and Townhouse Incident – The Crossover. I haven't forgotten about them. I don't own any of the characters except my own.
Amanda and Sonny returned from their honeymoon at the Langan's house in the Hamptons and were back to work. Olivia was still on light duty and Diana wasn't quite back to work yet.
It was the weekend Erin and Jay were celebrating Camille's birthday. Will, Natalie and the kids, Trudy and Mouch and everyone from Intelligence were all coming in from Friday to Sunday.
When they arrived Friday afternoon, everyone got their luggage and headed to the hotel to get checked in before they went to SVU. When they arrived, Olivia, Amanda and Shauna were the only ones there.
"Hey, Shauna."
"Hey, everyone. It is so good to see all of you."
"You too. How are you feeling?"
"Great. I am so glad to be going through this with someone this time. Jeff and I adopted each other's kids."
"That's great. Does Eddie like having a dad?"
"He loves it. He adjusted pretty well to my family and he just loves the fact that Diana is part of the family as well. The girls and I have gotten pretty close these last few months. Jeff figured Amy would have the hardest time adjusting to having a new mom but she's been great. Jeff's parents love every minute of spending time with the 4 of them and so do my parents."
"How is that goin'?"
"Remarkably well. The 4 of them usually spend Friday and Saturday nights with my parents and grandparents and Jeff's parents welcome the help. Katie is sometimes there more throughout the week. My youngest brother got married recently but for now they are living with my parents. They would rather be here than in Connecticut where her parents are. They are trying to save up for a place. Their baby is due around the same time as ours and we would like to have our kids grow up together."
"Is your sister-n-law an only child?"
"Actually, no."
"Do you know what they're havin'?"
"They're having a boy as well. They said his name will be Dylan Jack Jr. and he will be known as DJ."
"What are you naming yours?"
"Ian Jeffrey. Jeff is happy we're having a son. I actually wanted a daughter but I understand why he wanted a son so much. I can't believe how much Mia looks like Will."
"I know, right?"
"I'm just happy there is finally another red head in the family."
"How do she and Owen get along?"
"He is so good with her and Helen adores her."
"That's great."
"How are you doin', Amanda?"
"I'm great. I'm glad I'm doin' this right this time. Sonny is so excited about the baby and Jesse can't wait to be a big sister. She loves having a daddy."
"That's great."
Owen ran into Olivia's office.
"Livia!"
"Hey, Owen! Can I have a hug?"
"Ok."
Owen went to give Olivia a hug and then they came out of her office.
"Hey, everyone."
"Hey, yourself. How are you feeling?"
"I'm getting there. She is precious."
"That's right. This is the first you're meeting her."
"It is."
Then Hank came in with the 3 kids and Jay was with them. Jay had Camille. Hank kissed Olivia.
"Mommy!"
"Hey, you two."
"Look who landed!"
"Nice to see you too, Jay."
Camille giggled at Jay and gave Will the raspberries.
"That's my girl!"
Then Will smacked Jay in the head and Natalie smacked Will in the head. Mia smiled at her uncle.
"See, even your daughter thinks I'm funny."
"Really, you're not."
"Thanks, Bro. I love you too."
"What's new with you, Halstead?"
"Erin and I are buying a house."
"That's a surprise. How far away from your in-laws will you be?"
"Actually, right next door. We couldn't pass that up when the neighbors put it on the market. We close at the end of the month."
"Congratulations!"
"Thanks."
Jay handed Camille to Hank and then used Erin's computer to pull it up online, so everyone could see it.
"It looks similar to Hank and Olivia's."
"It's kind of similar to theirs. They did a lot before they put it on the market and the appliances are new within the last year or two, including the furnace, air conditioner and hot water tank."
"At least you shouldn't have to get movers."
"That's the good part. As soon as we close, Erin wants to go over there and clean, so then we can gradually start moving stuff over. We will have to get someone to help us move our furniture from storage to the house though."
"I completely forgot that you and Erin bought all new stuff when you moved into Hank's old house."
"We did."
"If you need us to come out to help, let me know and we can make arrangements with Helen to keep the kids."
"Absolutely."
"I will do that."
"Pop asked about Camille the other day."
"Yet he can't pick up the phone and call us."
"There was a big package delivered for Camille just before I left."
"Ok. I'll check it out when I get home."
"How's everything at Med?"
"It's been crazy. We were so glad to get a way for a few days."
"Say hi to everyone from us. The same for everyone at 51."
"We will do that."
"I will too. Everyone said to say hi to you."
"You havin' your weekly game tonight?"
"Always."
"Is everyone coming tonight?"
"As far as I know. Trevor said they would be there for sure."
"I think this was the week Liz was coming and I think Ruth was coming too."
Olivia checked her texts and sure enough they were both coming. Rachel went to sit on the sofa in Olivia's office.
"They're both coming. What are you fixing for dinner?"
"Probably burgers. I have hotdogs and brats for tomorrow."
"That sounds like a plan."
"What are you doing for Rachel's birthday?"
"She hasn't decided yet. One of Noah's friends from Preschool had a bowling and pizza party last weekend and he has mentioned that is what he wants with his friends anyway. We will probably include Amy, Eddie, Beth and Brandon in that."
"I'm sure they will want to go."
"He wants the family party at the Pub."
"Where did you have Rachel's birthday last year?"
"We went to an indoor water park and had a lot of Tuckers in attendance."
"Maybe we could just do something at the house with her friends."
"Eddie went to a birthday party last year at Build a Bear and had a great time."
"That's not a bad idea. What kid doesn't like stuffed animals? Noah got invited to one there next weekend. I'm taking him, so maybe I will take her with me and see if she likes it. Come to think of it, Trevor said he took Daniel there recently and he loved it. He designed teddy bears for his brother and sister for their birthday. After Maggie's birth, Olive's sister had sent her a stuffed animal from there with her name and birthdate. When Trevor was there with Daniel, he ended up getting the same thing for the other 3."
"Daniel did these bears himself?"
"Yeah. Has Rachel been unsociable all day?"
"No. She was fine before. It is about time for her nap."
"That's true."
Olivia went into her office and found Rachel sleeping on the sofa, so she covered her with a blanket. Everyone got ready to leave and told Olivia they would see her later. Olivia told Hank to leave Rachel there. He and Noah kissed her and then they left. After everyone left, the squad came back. As soon as she saw them, she left her office.
"Rachel is asleep in my office."
"Ok."
"Did everyone from Chicago get here?"
"They did. Jay was here too. He showed up at the same time Hank and the kids did."
"I missed them. Oh, well."
"He told everyone your news."
"I wanted to tell them this weekend anyway."
"Any leads?"
"Not really."
"That happens sometimes."
They did what they could and then they called it a day. They all headed over to Hank and Olivia's. When they arrived at the house, they all went inside. Ed, Diana and the kids were already there as were the Langans.
"Hello."
"Hey."
Erin hugged everyone from Chicago and then headed upstairs to change. Olivia did as well. By the time Olivia was heading back downstairs, everyone else was arriving. Ed was helping Hank with the burgers, while Jay was putting together the present that had come for Camille, which was from his dad. Everyone from Chicago was fussing over Maggie. Erin had come downstairs.
"What are you doing?"
"My dad sent this for her, so I am putting it together."
"Ok. That was nice of him to send it."
"Yeah, it was."
Once dinner was ready, everyone went to eat and then they went to either play poker or watch a movie. Olivia had gone down to check on the game and everyone was having a good night against Barba. Even the ones that normally didn't beat him were winning. Barba ended up leaving early, since he had a case to prepare for.
"Big case?"
"Yep."
"Is Barth the Judge?"
"She is and Buchanan is the Defense Attorney."
"Good luck with that. You'll need it."
"If it's not Buchanan, it's Calhoun."
"They're both a piece of work."
"Most Defense Attorneys are. I can think of one in particular who switched over to the good side."
"The best thing I ever did regarding my job."
"How is fatherhood treating you, Mr. Langan?"
"It's been great. I love every minute of it."
"Your daughter is beautiful."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. Olivia, your home is lovely."
"Thank you. We love it."
"Thank you for inviting me."
"You're welcome. We hope you both can come more often."
"I hope to."
"I hope to as well. I need to get going. It was nice meeting the rest of you."
"You too, Ma'am."
Judge Linden left after she said goodbye to everyone upstairs. Then Erin came down with Camille.
"Babe, I'm putting her to bed."
"Ok. Night, baby girl."
"Dada!"
Jay kissed Camille.
"Can you said night-night to Uncle Will?"
Camille gave Will a wet kiss on his nose and then he kissed her cheek. Hank and Olivia both kissed her goodnight as well.
"Have a nice birthday party tomorrow."
"Can you say 'thank you'?"
Camille smiled at Judge Donnelly and then Erin took her upstairs.
"She's adorable. Being a grandma suits you, Olivia."
"Thank you. They are such a joy."
Then Olive came downstairs with Daniel.
"Olivia, Hank, Daniel and the twins want to spend the night with you."
Daniel climbed up on Olivia's lap and put his arms around her.
"Please."
"How could I say no to him?"
"You can't."
"You're as convincing as your grandpa."
Daniel started giggling and kissed Olivia.
"I love you."
"I love you too, Sweetie."
Daniel went back upstairs and then Olivia started laughing.
"Apparently you don't have a say in the matter."
"So, what else is new?"
"I'll go get them ready for bed."
"Need any help?"
"I got it."
"I'll be up to say goodnight in a few minutes."
"Ok."
Olive kissed Trevor and then went upstairs to get the kids ready for bed. Trevor waited a few minutes and then went upstairs to say goodnight. Everyone else got ready to leave and headed home or to their hotel. Hank cleaned up, let the dogs out and then he went upstairs to check on the kids before he went to get ready for bed. When he came out of the bathroom, Olivia was already asleep, so he got into bed with her, turned the light off and kissed Olivia's forehead before he fell asleep.
