Chap 3

Kurt

Nick was waiting for us, just as Wes said he would be. Nick helped Wes with the few suitcases that I was taking. I climbed in to the backseat. I didn't even look back as we drove away.

"We're here for you, I still can't believe that Blane did that to you." Nick said as we drove down the busy New York Street.

The ride back to Wes' place about a half-hour from the city. In no time we were pulling up to a cute little duplex,Nick parked in the driveway, unloaded the car . I got out and took my bags from Nick . "I see you later Kurt, I have to go pick Jeff up from the airport." Nick got back in his car and headed out.

Wes led me into the house, and gave me a quick tour. He lead me upstairs to the spare room. It is done up in hunter green with ice grey accents. The on-site bathroom was done with earth tones.

"I'll leave you to get settled, and call you when supper is ready." Wes hugged me and left the room.

I put my things away, put my laptop on the small desk that sat in front of the window. The next hard thing to do is the talk I am going to have with Dad. This only proves one thing, that I should have listened to my friends and not taken him back. Why did I fall for the sob story he gave me?

A knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts, "hey Kurt, supper's ready. I got pizza." Wes said. As he opened the door. I got up plugged in the laptop then followed him to the kitchen .

"Why don't you get have a seat on the couch , I have set up in there. The DVD is ready to go, I am just making coffee.

We had watched The sound of music, I then said my good night and went back to my room. Where I found I had several missed calls from my dad. Just as I was about to return the call my phone rang.

dad: Kurt how could you just up and leave Blaine like that especially after cheating on him, he called me in tears.

Kurt: dad hold on one minute, it was him that was cheating even after I took him back. And I caught him in my bed with someone else, When I came back from my business trip to Cali.

Dad: oh is that what we are calling it now? Kurt I just can't believe you would do that.

Kurt: k fine don't believe me. Just so you know I was staying with Santana and Brit. I can't deal with you right now. I'm sorry dad but I gotta go to bed. I have an early day tomorrow. Bye.

I ended the call got into bed and cried myself to sleep.

next morning *

Wes had driven me to pick up my car from the apartment only to find the air in the tires had been let out ( just great thanks a lot Blaine ) there was. A note under the wiper, I didn't have time to read it now. I was running late as it was. I grabbed a cab and headed to work.

" hey Kurt, Isabell is waiting in her office for you. Is everything alright, I'm here if you need to talk." Chase my assistant told me.

I walked down the hall to Isabell's office. Knocked and walked in. " Kurt are you alright, you don't look like you are. " she asked as I sat.

"No I'm a hot mess. I found out that Blaine has been cheating on me again, this time I caught him. I have moved in with a friend, on top of that he let the air out of my tires that's why I'm late. The worst is that he turned this on me saying I was the cheater, so this was his way of getting back at me. " I sobbed.

" Kurt, I am so sorry this happened to you. Are you sure you are okay to work today? "

" yeah I'm fine or I will be. Even my dad is taking Blaine's side. But I will get through this with the help of my friends. I will have that article on your desk by noon." I get up to leave.

"Hey if you need anything let me know, Im here for you." She said as I left.

I sat at my desk, and remembered the note. I took it out of my pocket ; opened it and read it:

Kurt,

I am so sorry, but you are the one who cheated. I will never forgive you for that and leaving me. I know you cheated cause you never checked into the hotel you normally stay at. I can never trust you again. Have a nice life! Oh by the way, have the rest of your stuff out of my place by tomorrow morning Or I will be putting it in the trash. And leave your keys on the table.

By the time I was done I was shaking with anger, then I remembered that the apartment was in my name only. I got out my phone and called all my friends to meet up with me at said apartment and to bring there trucks. Even Finn said he would be there.

"Hey Kurt, why don't you go get some coffee?" Isabell asked

"Ok I think I will. I was going to ask if that offer still stands about having the day off , I need to get the rest of my stuff from the apartment today. "

I thought it was in your name?"

" it is but he will be the one in for a big surprise " I told her as I walked to the elevator.

"Hi Kurt , let me get your coffee for you. No charge? I bumped into Wes this morning, he told me what happened. If you need anything let me know. Mel got a the part she tried out for. She was so good that she beat out the Rachel Berry. I wouldn't be surprised if Rachel wasn't blackballed for the scene she made. She even tried lunged at Mel . All my love did was side step her. Rachel landed on her face. I'll be right back. " Izzy was that bubbly girl that always brightened my day.

"Hey, killer how's that Warbler of yours?" I looked up and burst into tears.
