Later, at home after that rough day that he had at school, Jedayi headed straight to his bedroom. He closed the door and sat on the bed to read. In the first hour reading, Augustus had came upstairs knocked on Jedayi's door. Augustus swung the door open, Jedayi and Augustus's eyes met.
"Hey buddy, dinner's ready.",announced Augustus.
Augustus then had noticed that Jedayi seemed quiet. His eyes were noticeably focused on what was he reading. Augustus walked over to sit down with him to get a better look and to see what was going on.
."Jedayi is everything alright?", Augustus was concerned.
"Everything is fine…",snorted Jedayi.
He focused on continuing reading. Augustus didn't know what to say. He decided to skooch over on the bed and look down upon him. He was staring at the book, and looked back towards Jedayi. They stared at each other again.
"You sure?.. cause we can talk about it.",said Augustus.
"No Dad, it's fine."
Augustus went quiet. He got up from the bed, then looked over at Jedayi for one last time.
"If you need anything, let me know okay.",said Augustus.
He headed for the door to open it. Augustus exited out the room, continuing to leave his son alone.
