This is it. Time for two souls to be reunited after so many long years. But before that… we're gonna be looking back at something from the past. I wanna say thanks to "Marvelomac1010" for the concept to this chapter and many more to come. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 524: Two long time friends…

(Flashback, many years ago.)

We see a little girl, Leni Loud as she's in Ketcham Park and she flies her kite around. She giggles and laughs but then she trips and her kite flies off. "Oh no!" Leni chases after her kite. "Come back Mr. Kite! Please!" but then she sees her kite is snagged into a tree and this concerns Leni.

She sees how high the tree is and she feels scares and crying. But then she gathers her courage and she manages to climb up the tree. Leni then sees she is in range of her kite and so she grabs it and she heads back down. Leni almost slips but she manages to hold on and she makes her way back to the ground, not knowing something did fell and break.

Leni is happy she got her kite back. But then someone goes over to her. "Hey, are you okay?" Leni sees this boy exactly her age with light brown hair and a small ponytail and to her eyes he looked kinda cute. "What were you doing up there?"

Leni then snaps out of it. "Oh. I was just getting my kite and…" she then realizes her white sunglasses are no longer on her head and she looks around and then sees them. Her white sunglasses on the ground and broken at the middle and this surprises her. "Oh no! My sunglasses!"

Leni is about to grab them but the boy does first. "Here let me help you." Leni nods and she follows this kid to a nearby bench where she watches as he tries to fix her sunglasses. But to no avail. "Dang it. I can't fix them." Leni is surprised to hear this and now she feels sad. But then the boy has an idea. "Wait right here. I'll be right back!" he then races off, leaving a confused and sad Leni.

Just then the boy comes back. "Here try these on." He hands her a new pair of white sunglasses. They don't look stylist and are round and a little big. "This was the best I can get from that cheapskates jerk who owns a store."

Leni then tries on the sunglasses and she smiles and hugs the boy. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

The boy blushes from this. "S-Sure… you're welcome." The duo then depart from the hug.

"My name is Leni Loud."

"My name is Kurt Logann. Do you wanna play?"

Leni smiles hearing this and so she spends the remainder of the afternoon playing with her new friend Kurt Logann. They run around and play tag, they go near the fish pond and see the turtles and even fly some kites. Leni even enjoys some picnic food with his family and they even explained that this is their last day here in Royal Woods before they go back home and this kinda makes Leni a little bit sad. But she knows that they have to go back home.

The day soon came to an end and Leni had to say goodbye to her new friend, she still has her kite and she looks down. But then she looks to Kurt and then she asks. "Will I see you again Kurt?"

Kurt smiles and he doesn't feel sure. He too doesn't wanna leave his new friend. "I don't know but I promise that I will…" he is then surprised when Leni kisses his cheek and he blushes and sees how cute and pretty Leni Loud is. Something he never noticed until now and this makes him blush even more.

Leni's smile always makes a bright day. "That was something to remember me by."

Kurt then snaps out of it and he speaks. "I promise Leni. I won't forget about you and we will meet again." He then races off to meet with his parents.

Leni watches as the Logann family drive off out of Royal Woods, she sees Kurt wave to her, and so she waves back and she smiles. She then looks to her sunglasses, the ones Kurt got for her. 'I promise that I will never ever take these off and I promise that I will never forget you Kurt Logann.'

(Back to the present.)

We now see Kurt Logann in his hotel room and he sighs. He never forgot about her. He never forgot about Leni Loud. Just then there is a knock on the door, he sighs and then calls out. "Come in."

Janette Wilder comes into the room, she sees Kurt sitting on the couch and she asks. "Are you feeling alright Kurt? You haven't been talkative during dinner talk with the crew."

Kurt nods and he stands up. "I'm doing fine Janette." He then grabs his car keys. "I'm gonna be in the town for a while." He then walks by his manager. But Janette knows that something is going on and so she follows him.

(Later.)

Kurt Logann is now in Royal Woods and walking down the pathway here in Ketcham Park. He looks around and sees that there aren't much people here and some folks don't even recognize him. 'Makes sense. I'm no big time celebrity racer like Bobbie Fletcher.'

Kurt Logann continues to stroll around. Then he thinks about the girl he met and he even sees the tree where they first encountered and then he sees the bench where they first interacted. This makes him smile remembering the good times. 'Leni Loud… where are you?'

"Kurt? Kurt Logann?"

Kurt is surprised by this voice and he turns around and he is surprised. A teenager around his age, wearing a real dress with white floral patterns and a pink sash. White slippers, pink hooped earrings and she has blonde long hair. But what catches Kurt's eyes are the round white sunglasses on her head.

It was then he recognized who she was. "Leni? Leni Loud?"

Both are surprised to see each other and they both speak. "You still remember me?" this makes the other chuckle and blush with embarrassment. They then look towards each other again. Leni then goes over and she hugs Kurt Logann and she has tears of joy. "I missed you."

Kurt blushes and is surprised. But then he hugs her back and he too has tears of joy. "I missed you too Leni."

Leni Loud and Kurt Logann both feel like a rekindling spark from before is now reigniting again. Being separated for so many years and now they are back, still have never forgotten and memories of the past returning.

Janette Wilder sees this from her car and she smiles. 'So, this is what he's been so nervous about. An old friend, though the way I see it… they're more than just old friends. Kurt, welcome back to Royal Woods Michigan.'

A/N: Kurt Logann and Leni Loud have reunited and who knows what will happen next, and they have a lot of catching up to do and Kurt has no idea what's been going down here for Leni Loud. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
