Chapter 466: Dream: little Lincoln moments…

(Lewis Residence, Franklin Avenue. Royal Woods Michigan.)

Just another calm and normal day. Leni and Luna are at school and thus leaving little Lincoln at home but he's not alone. He has his three pug puppy friends to keep him company. Normally Jordan would be brought over for a baby play date since they are best friends, but she's not coming and so Michelle is here to spend time with her infant son.

Lincoln is just playing with his plush toys and he makes some of them dance. He giggles and laughs and the pug puppies race by chasing each other which makes Lincoln giggle and smile. He watches as his canine companions are playing by themselves and he feels like joining them.

Michelle is inside the playpen to watch over and spend some time with her son, since she doesn't have any big work to do today, she then scooches closer and she places a small kiss onto her song forehead which makes him giggle and smile. The baby then looks to his mother and he reaches for her.

Michelle then let's her son sit on her lap and he holds her hand, this makes him smile and be curious at his mother's hand which is bigger than his hands, but then he stops and looks to Michelle and wants to touch her face. Michelle allows him to go closer and he touches her cheeks and nose.

Lincoln smiles and he shares a nose kiss with his mother making both chuckle. Michelle then lays down with her son raised above her and he reaches for her again and she lowers him closer and she kisses his nose and she always likes seeing her son all happy and cute.

Then Michelle sits back up and she hands the plush rabbit to her son to which he plays and then he makes it dance. Michelle then goes through her thoughts on something. 'I wonder what will happen if Little Linc plays with some other babies. He could use some more friends.'

Then Michelle sees the pug puppies move closer and bark towards the baby. This makes Lincoln giggle and he pets each one and then the pug puppies go over and they lick his cheeks making the baby giggle and laugh from this ticklish fun.

(Many hours later.)

Michelle returns home alongside her infant son Lincoln and they bought some groceries, they also picked up Luna and Leni from school and they help carry the bags that aren't too heavy for them. The pug puppies are happy to see them back home and they follow the family.

They all head into the kitchen and Michelle is still carrying her son, but she doesn't notice that he is looking at one of the items the bag. She then places her son onto his high chair and then he looks around and is confused.

Luna and Leni place a kiss onto the cheek of their baby brother and this just makes him giggle and laugh. He then watches them all putting the groceries away. But he sees the pack of bagels on the table and that's the item which he has been interested in.

Lincoln reaches for it but it seems too far. He looks around for something he can use but he can't find anything. He rocks his chair back and forth and he sees his reach is almost there. The pug puppies watch this happen and are confused at what the baby is trying to do.

The baby then does it. He grabs the bag of bagels, then his chair stays still and he sees the bagels through the translucent bag and tries to touch it but he can't . This makes him confused and he babbles some words. This gets the attention from Luna. "Linky? How did you get that?"

Leni and Michelle notice this and they go over and see what Lincoln has done. "Strange, how did het grab this?" Michelle sees her son hand her the bag and so she opens it.

Michelle then hands a bagel to Leni, Luna and of course to Lincoln. She also takes one and hands some to the three pug puppies. They all watch as the baby looks to the bagel and he smiles and then smells it.

Lincoln then starts to nibble on the bagel and this makes the others chuckle and smile. "Linky is eating on his own now" replied Leni. "Lincoln is learning mommy."

Michelle smirks. "Yes, yes he is." She then goes over and she picks up her son, but he doesn't bother and just continues to eat his bagel, and they head out of the kitchen and into the Living Room.

(Later.)

We now go to the bedroom of Leni and Luna. But Luna is not there; she is spending time with her mother in the living room and watching some TV. Leni is in the bedroom and she has finished her homework and then she checks on her school things. She then sees her paper and crayons and she has an idea.

'Maybe I can ask Mommy is I can see if Lincoln can draw. He is learning and he might wanna show us what he is trying to say. I love that he is being silly and cute, but I know that he is trying to say something.'

Leni then leaves her bedroom. She then goes to her mother's room to check on her baby brother who is napping. She goes inside and she sees her baby brother Lincoln is not napping. This surprises Leni.

Lincoln is awake and he looks confused and sad. Leni then goes over and she checks on him. "Lincoln, what's wrong? Why was your nap short baby brother? Is something wrong?" she even sees the pug puppies are also awake and looking concerned at the sight of the now awake infant.

Leni then picks up her baby brother and she can feel him not letting go and she can tell something happened. "Did you have a bad dream baby brother?" Lincoln just whimpers and so she walks around and hums a soothing tune to help her baby brother.

Lincoln feels calm from this and he yawns and is getting sleepy again. Leni notices this and she continues to comfort and sooth her baby brother and soon enough he does return to sleep.

Leni then goes back to the crib and she places her baby brother back inside and he returns to his nap. Leni places a small kiss on his forehead and this makes Lincoln smile and she even places his pacifier on. "Sweet dreams baby brother. Enjoy the rest of your nap."

The pug puppies also yawns and return to their bed and sleep. Leni smiles seeing this and so she leaves the room and happy that she helped her baby brother is back to having his nap and good dreams.

(Reality.)

Michelle wakes up and she sees the time is around 6am. Michelle sees that she us not in her bedroom too. She's on the couch and it has been deployed into a bed.

Michelle sees her son and daughter are by her side and also still asleep. Michelle smiles seeing this and she places a kiss onto their foreheads and this makes them both smile.

Michelle then checks her phone and sees the date is January 1 and she recalls that they had a New Year's Eve Party last night at the Loud House. 'I think we should sleep in some more. We had one heck of a night.'

Michelle returns back to sleep alongside her son and daughter. All of them returning to good dreams, but also looking forward to what this year brings to them, all of them.
