Chapter 2: The 90s party with a horse? Oh Boy.

In the apartment Alan is in the living room, moving some furniture to the side, then Jason walks and sees what he's doing. "Um, what are you doing, Alan?" He asks while watching Alan get a ladder and climbs on it to where the bullet holes are.

Alan looks at the holes. "Gonna fill these holes up, because our landlord passed out drunk again because I asked him to fill the holes up." He says while grabbing a scraper and points at the container. "Can you give me some of that stuff?" He asks which Jason grabs it, opens it and walks towards Alan, then lifts it towards him so he can scrap some stuff to plug the holes. "People from the store said this stuff fixes anything that has a hole." Alan says while patching the bullet holes.

Jason is just watching his friend do the work. "Really now, what kinds of holes are we talking about?" He asks jokingly while giving Alan a teasing smirk.

Alan looks at Jason with an amusing look on his face. "Walk into that one didn't I?" He asks, making Jason nod, Alan just chuckles and shakes his head. But then they both hear the upstairs neighbors start arguing, making Alan look up and then he starts to climb down the ladder. "Looks like they're fighting again." He says, not really fazed by what's going on upstairs.

Jason listens some more of the arguing but then hears some cocking from some guns. "We need to get down." He says, as he and Alan get behind a couch. Then gunfire can be heard as the bullets start to hit down from the ceiling to the floor but one of the bullets hits something metal. "What did they hit this time?" Jason asks, wondering what was shot at while still hiding behind the couch.

Alan peaks his head from behind the couch, looks over to the kitchen and sees that the stove is shot, he sighs. "They shot the stove, this time." He says with a tired tone in his voice. "Looks like we're gonna be eating at the diner for breakfast." He says.

Jason just sighs in frustration while sticking his head out from behind the couch. "We need to find somewhere else to live before this place is gonna kill us." He says, which Alan nods in agreement. But then Jason hears the upstairs neighbors reloading their guns. "HIT THE DECK!" He yells as both him and Alan duck behind the couch, and then gunfire can be heard again.

Twenty minutes later from the chaos, Jason and Alan are at the diner eating their breakfast while talking to Caroline and she has a shocked look on her face from what they are telling her. "So you guys are just used to that kind of stuff?" She asks, making both the men just to shrug it off, she just shakes her head in disbelief. "That's just awful. How are you two not shot or better yet killed?" She asks in a worried tone.

Alan just shrugs. "Don't know, guess we're just lucky, I guess." He says while drinking his cup of coffee to play it cool.

Caroline just shakes her head but has a smile on her face. "You something else Alan." She says, while checking out on Alan in secret 'And you also cute.' She thought. "Now if you boys excuse me, I'm gonna check on the other customers." She says while walking towards the other customers to check on them or taking their orders.

"She has a thing for you, man" Jason says and then takes a sip of his coffee.

Alan looks at Jason with a confused look on his face. "What?" He asks.

Jason points at Caroline who's with a customer. "Caroline, she has a thing for you." He says, then he points at Alan. "And You have a thing for her." He says.

Alan is shocked at the accusation and then starts to blush. "W-What are you talking about man, that can't be possible because me and Caroline only have known each other for three weeks now, and I think it's too soon to say, and you know how I roll. And plus she's really not my type" He says but is wondering if Jason is right about Caroline liking him. In the past three weeks Caroline and Alan have been getting close to each other but as friends, but secretly they like each other and one of them is waiting to confess to each other.

Jason just shakes his head and rolls his eyes, knowing his friend like he's a book. "Oh yeah that's right, your type of woman is a chick that chews on razor blades." He says with a sarcastic tone.

"Hey, in my defense, she's a goth and I know what I was signing up for." Alan says, trying to defend himself, but he sighs in defeat. "And you're not gonna let that down, are you?" He asks, making Jason shake his head, but then a smirk appears on Alan's face as an idea appears in his head. "What about you though~?" He says with a playful tone in his voice.

Jason raises his left eyebrow. "What about me?" He asks, wondering what his best friend is talking about.

Alan smirk grew wider. "Do you have a thing with Max?" He asks, knowing how to play these kinds of games with Jason.

Jason widens his eyes in shock and then starts to blush. "W-well y-you see, Alan, i don't think I'm Max's type, she's a tough girl while i'm just a good guy, i don't think I'm really her type anyway." He says while putting his head down in sadness.

Alan puts his hand on Jason's shoulder to give him comfort. "Hey come on man, don't be hopeless, you know what the saying always says is that "opposites attract." He says to give him confidence.

"Opposites attract what now?" Max appears out of nowhere surprising both Jason and Alan, making them both look at her with her hand on her hips while chewing some gum, she looks at Alan. "sup, stringbean." She says which Alan waves, then she looks at Jason, then she gives a grin on her face while still chewing gum. "Hey there, groper." She says teasingly, while giving him a wink.

Jason just rolls his eyes while having an amused smile on his face. "Is there any other nickname you can give me besides you calling me groper?" He asks

Max thinks for a moment and then nods her head. "Yeah I was thinking of calling you the bearded DILF pornstar." she says making Alan spit his coffee and starts to laugh, Caroline then comes up to him and gives him a napkin so he could wipe his mouth. "But groper sticks, because that's how we met." Max says while having a smug look on her face.

Jason shakes his head. "You're not gonna let that go are you?" He asks with a sigh.

Max just shakes her head. "Nope." She answers simply with a grin on her face. "But what were you and Alan talking about with opposites attract?" She asks, wondering what they were talking about before she interfered.

Jason starts to get nervous and doesn't know what to say, but then a man with brown eyes and long brown hair with a scruffy beard that's wearing a hairnet pops his head out of the serving window. "They're talking about when you and Caroline will finally get together and make sweet love together." He says with an Ukranian accent.

Max just rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "Oleg, you will never change." She says while walking towards the back to go into the kitchen.

When Max is out of earshot, Jason looks towards Oleg with a relieved look on his face. "Oleg, you're a guardian angel with a dirty mouth." He says and gives Oleg a thumbs up. "Thank you." Hey says which Oleg gives a nod and goes back in the kitchen to make some more food for the other customers, after he's gone Jason looks at Alan. "Do I really look like a Bearded DILF pornstar?" He asks while rubbing his beard.

Alan just shrugs. "Well to be honest some people do see you like you're a dilf with a beard, back in Texas." He says jokingly with a grin on his face, while Jason gives an amused look on his face.

Then Oleg appears again. "He really does look like a DILF pornstar with a beard." He says, then he goes back into the kitchen.

Two minutes later, a short Asian man comes up to Jason and Alan with some papers in his left hand. "Hello my friends it's so good to see two." He says with a Korean accent making Jason and Alan turn towards him.

Jason gives a friendly smile towards the short man. "Well if it ain't our little friend, Han-Lee." He says as he and Alan give Han-Lee a fist bump, which he gladly accepts with a big smile on his face.

"You guys are invited to dinner for special entertainment tonight." Han says while giving them two papers to read.

After Alan reads his paper, he raises an eyebrow at Han. "Are you sure this is a good idea, Han. Knowing almost everyone in this diner, they probably aren't gonna like this." He says.

"And plus this isn't a glee club, it's a diner where people eat, and where hipsters come here to hangout and try to make themselves look cool but they're not, but in reality they're just sad losers trying to fit in." Jason says and then he drinks his cup of coffee.

Then Max came out of the kitchen with a wide smile on her face. "And this is why, Jason here is my favorite customer, and for that lovely comment, I'm giving you a treat~." She says with a flirty tone making Jason blush as she leans towards him to give him a kiss. But instead of a kiss, she just gives him a vanilla cupcake with dark chocolate frosting on top. "There you go, enjoy Groper." She says with a smirk while patting Jason's left cheek while feeling his beard, then she starts to leave to check on the customers to see what they want to order.

Alan's phone rings, he answers it to see who's calling, it's revealed to be a customer. After talking to them for about a minute and writing the address, he hangs up and looks at Jason, who's eating his cupcake. "Welp, looks like we have another job to do." He says, making Jason look at him with a questionable look on his face wondering what's the job. "She wants us to go over to her place and get her boxed stuff in a moving truck, because she's moving somewhere." He says, but then he gives Jason a napkin. "Here, you got some frosting all over your mouth." He says.

Jason grabs the napkin and starts to clean himself. "Thanks." He says as both him and Alan get up and they give a five dollar tip for Max and caroline. Then they came up to the counter with a cashier that's an African-American old man that's wearing a flat cap. Jason pulls out some money to pay for their breakfast. "Here you go Earl. hope you're having a good day man." He says as both he and Alan give Earl a fist bump.

Earl gives a smile. "Thanks boys and I am, and I knew when you guys walked in here for the first time, just knew you two were gonna be our favorite customers." He says.

Alan puts his right hand over his heart. "Oh Earl stop, if you keep giving us these compliments, my heart will explode with joy." He says, making all three of the men laugh. "Love to stay here and chat, but me and Jason have to go. We have a job to do." He says.

Earl nods. "Alright, you boys have a good one." He says. Both Jason and Alan smile and give a nod towards Earl, then they start to leave the dinner to do their job.

Hours later it is night, with Alan walking on a sidewalk while Jason is limping while holding his back and winces in pain with every step. "I can't believe this day. First the box full of weights fell on my foot, then the second job I was being dragged in the park by some big dog, because they were chasing a squirrel." Jason complains in pain as he and Alan come close to the diner's door.

Alan just shrugs. "But at least we got one hundred and twenty five dollars." He says while opening the door for his best friend which Jason enters.

"Thanks, but that doesn't give you an excuse for laughing back in the park." Jason says as both him and Alan go to their usual spots to sit.

"I wasn't-" Alan tries to defend himself but thinks about the past event, he sighs in defeat. "Ok i was laughing, but at least i helped you get out of that situation, when those dogs were trying to hump you." He says.

Jason just looks at Alan with an Deadpan look on his face. "I thought we agreed to never talk about that." Jason says, but looks down in despair and shakes his head. "But the person who gave us that job told us they were neutered." Hey says. "Why do I always have bad luck?" He asks.

Alan gives Jason a pat on the back. "Because, you keep picking up those coins with the tails up. You know you should pick up coins with their heads up, we had this discussion before." He says

Jason just rolls his eyes. "Well i'm sorry 'Mr. Goodluck ', when i see a coin, i always think we could use some extra money." He says with an annoyed tone in his voice.

Then Caroline comes up to Jason and Alan. "Hey guys, you guys want your usual?" She asks with a smile on her face.

Alan and Jason both shake their heads. "No, we'll have meat loaf slices with mashed potatoes and broccoli." Alan orders.

Caroline writes down the orders and sighs in relief. "Thank god, to be honest i thought you guys were gonna be like everyone in the diner, that's not ordering for some reason." She says while putting their orders up.

Max then walks out of the kitchen with two cupcakes and gives them to Jason and Alan. "Yeah, it's weird, I thought they're some kind of cult or something." She says, but notices Jason winces in pain. "What's wrong with you, did somebody stick something up your ass?" She asks wondering what's wrong with him, but secretly is worried about him.

Jason just shakes his head. "Nah, nothing like that, I just got my foot crushed and I was dragged by a pack of dogs through the park. But I'll be ok." He says. "And to answer you girls' questions, it's not a cult, it's actually a flash mob that Han put together." Hey says.

Max widens her eyes. "You're kidding right?" She asks, hoping Jason is kidding.

"Jason is not kidding, Han is actually doing a flash mob." Alan says.

Then Han pops his head through the serving window with a bright smile on his face. "Something very magical is about to happen." He says with excitement in his tone.

Han is about to stick his head back in the kitchen until Max stops him. "Um Han, we know about the flash-mob and it's a stupid idea, because no one does those no more." She says while crossing her arms across her chest.

Han now has a disappointed look on his face. "Ah, did Jason and Alan tell you?" He asks, making both Max and Caroline nod. Then Han looks down. "Nobody told Han. well except these two did try to warn me." He says pointing at Alan and Jason, which they both nod. "I'll cancel the flashing." Han says sticking his head back in the kitchen and exits the kitchen to tell the other people that's in the flash mob that it's canceled.

Jason cringed a little. "When he said cancel the flashing. That sounded so wrong." He says making Caroline and Alan nod in agreement.

Max just shrugs. "Eh, to be honest, if there was a flashing, I'll be flashing my boobs to you, Groper." She says with a teasing grin making Jason look at her with his eyes wide and then he starts to blush, while Alan just chuckles and pat his friend on the back, while Caroline looks at Max and gives her an eye roll.

Then Oleg appears with two plates. "Here's the meatloaves with mashed potatoes and broccolis." He says while giving the plates to Max.

Max gave the plates to Jason and Alan. "Enjoy you losers." She teases with a smirk on her face. "Do you guys want anything to drink?" She asks.

Both Jason and Alan nod. "Yeah we'll have some water." Alan says making Caroline nod and get some water for them, she gives them two cups of water which makes Alan smile at her. "Thanks Caroline, you're an angel." He says with a compliment.

Caroline blushes. "Oh, Alan." She says while playing with her hair, while watching Alan eat his food. 'You're my angel that wears a hat.' she thought

The next night Max is at the counter wiping the ketchup bottles while talking to Jason and Alan as both of the men drink their coffee. Just then Caroline walks out of the kitchen with three baggies with papers in them. "Okay, I've divided your bills into three categories. Impossible, next to impossible, and how the hell did that happen?" She says while setting each the bills down in front of Jason and then he starts to read them.

Max just looks at Caroline a little annoyed. "And I've divided my roommate into three categories. Annoying, super annoying, and how the hell did that happen?" She says sarcastically.

Oleg pops his head out through the serving window and rings the bell making everyone from the counter look at him. "I'm closing the kitchen in ten minutes and I cannot stay later. I have a date with a new woman in my 's very special to may be the one." He says, then he looks at the girls. "You are both welcome to come watch us have sex." He says, making everyone from the counter look at him with weird looks. "Just putting it out there." He says while shrugging.

Alan just shakes his head with a cringe on his face. "Didn't want to hear that kind of information." He says.

Max gives Oleg an annoyed look. "Just put it back in there." She says, then Oleg goes back to the kitchen.

Jason raises an eyebrow. "Why are the things he says so sexual?" He asks.

Max just shrugs. "Don't know. My best theory is his parents must've dropped him a lot of times and that's the way he talks ever since." She says.

Caroline then put her hand in a plastic bag to grab one of the bills with excitement on her face. "I'm so excited, I don't even know where to start." She says while trying to pick one of the bills with her eyes closed. "Drumroll please?" She asks.

Max just gives her an unamused stare, while Alan is giving her a smile thinking to himself that she's just being cute, but then someone starts drumming on the table making both the girls and Alan look at the source and it is revealed it was Jason, then he notices them staring at him. "What? When someone says "give me drumroll", I'll give them the drumroll." He says to defend himself.

Max just shakes her but she has a smile on her face. 'You're just adorable, Jason.' She thought.

Caroline smiles at Jason. "Thank you Jason." She says to which Jason gives a nod and smiles back. Then Caroline pulls out one of the bills. "Oh, interesting. Here we have a bill from a pet castle, yet you don't have a pet and you've never been to a castle…" She says but then she pulls out another bill and starts to read it. "Oh, except for White Castle." She says and then she looks at Max that's wiping a ketchup bottle with a confused look on her face. "You used a credit card at a White castle?" She asks

Max just wipes the ketchup bottle. "Yep." She answers not really caring while still wiping the bottle. "That was good weed." She says making Caroline look at her.

"That kinda reminds me of a movie, where two stoned guys were trying to find a White Castle for their munchies." Jason says which Alan nods knowing what he's talking about.

Max just smiles at Jason. "And the pet thing was 'cause I found a stray and I had to have her cleaned up, before I could get anyone to take her." She explains one of the bills as she puts down a cleaned ketchup bottle and then grabs another to clean.

Caroline now understands. "That would also explain the charge for neutering." She says while pointing at the bill.

"Nah, actually that was for me." Max says not really caring. "Can't have any more of these coming out." She says while pointing at her own face.

Alan looks at the bill closely and he shakes his head. "Nah, that clearly said you neutered a cat, or unless you identify as a cat, that would make sense." He says while taking a sip of his coffee.

"Hmm, for some reason that does make a lot of sense." Jason says and then he looks at Max with a playful suspicion. "Are you a cat in disguise, Max?" He playfully interrogates while pointing at her.

Max just smirks, so she pretends to lick back of her hand and use it to fix her hair. "Meow~." She meows playfully while pretending to scratch the air and then starts to purr.

Caroline just ignores what just happened. "Anyways back on the topic about the bills, do you think it's fiscally smart to be taking strays?" She asks..

Max looks at Caroline. "Good point. Move out tonight." She says sarcastically while walking out of the counter to go to one of the tables so set up the ketchup so it will be ready for people that want it.

Then looks at one of the bills but one of them caught her eyes. "What is this?" She asks and then reads it closely and her eyes widen. "A student loan?" She sks with a surprised tone. "Oh my God. Max, You went to college?" She asks, making Max glare a little at her, while Jason and Alan give Caroline a raise eyebrows. Caroline notices the stares she is receiving, so she raises her hands. "That wasn't judgment, it was just shocking, kind of like seeing a baby smoke on the internet." She says to defend herself.

Max just smiles. "I love that kid." she says while wiping a ketchup bottle.

Jason just sighs and shakes his head with sadness. "It's cute, but in the future that kid's gonna have problems with his lungs." He says, but then Alan pats him on the back to cheer him up. Caroline comes up to Max with the bill in her hand. "Max, a student loan is the worst bill you can ignore. It can never be expunged." She says with a serious tone.

Max looks at Caroline with a confused look. "We're breaking out "expunged" on a weeknight?" She asks.

Alan clears his throat to get the girls' attention. "Let's be honest here, can't run away from the student loan bill, because that will be in your background of any bank or colleges you want to go to, and they will refuse you." He says.

Caroline nods her head. "Alan's right, Max, you can't run away from this bill." She says with a serious tone while showing the student loan bill to Max.

"I can run away from anything." Max says not really caring. "I'm on my fifth identity." She says while walking away from Caroline.

Just then four guys walk into the diner with smiles on their faces and laughing. "It's just like that, but underwater!" One of the guys says with excitement in his tone.

"Guys!" Max yells to get the four guys' attention, but it doesn't work, so she rolls her eyes in annoyance. "Sorry, we're just closing guys." She says to inform the four guys.

"I'll take them, Max. We need the-"Caroline says, but she cuts her sentence short widen eyes and then she turns around quickly and goes into the kitchen.

Max gets confused from Caroline's strange action. "Uh, sit anywhere." She says while walking towards the kitchen to talk to Caroline.

Jason looks at Alan with a raised eyebrow. "What just happened?" He asks, but Alan just shrugs.

In the kitchen Caroline is rubbing her hands together nervously while Max walks in the kitchen with a confused look on her face. "What was that roadrunner move you just pulled?" She asks. "There's a smoke outline hanging in the air out there." She says with a smile on her face while pointing. "Did Wile E. Coyote just came into the diner?" She asks jokingly.

Caroline just shakes her head. "No, but my ex-boyfriend did." She says.

Max just pauses. "Meep, meep." she says to make herself sound like The Roadrunner.

Caroline just shakes her head in confusion. "Why is William in Brooklyn and why is he at this dinner?" She asks, wondering why her ex-boyfriend is here at the diner.

Max just raises her left eyebrow and crosses her arms under her chest. "And why is every inbred rich guy named William?" She asks with sarcasm in the tone.

"I don't want to see him." Caroline says while turning toward the door opens it quickly and walks in there to hide, Max follows her and notices her hiding, Caroline peaks her head and notices Max standing at the entrance with the door open. "Max, close the door." She says in a whisper. "I don't want him to come in here." She says not wanting her ex to see her.

Max just rolls her eyes. "Yeah, 'cause that happens all the time. Customers come in the front door and make a beeline through the kitchen to see if there's a waitress hiding in a walk-in freezer." She says with sarcasm while making hand gestures, then she closes the freezer's door. "Okay, what is the deal?" She asks but then she notices her nipples are getting hard from the cold, so she covers them. "Tell me fast, I'm nipping like crazy in here." She says, but then she notices Caroline's nipples are getting hard also. "Oooh, you're smuggling some gumdrops there too, ice queen." Max says while pointing with her head.

Caroline sighs and covers her chest. "His name is William Van Horn, and he's-" she was about to say something but was interrupted by someone opening the door.

Oleg pops his head in the freezer and sees the girls covering their chest. "I was gonna remind you girls about me leaving for sex and you two can join." He says. "But Alan is wondering if you're ok, Coraline?" He asks.

Caroline smiles warmly and blushes. 'Oh Alan, you're so sweet about worrying about me, William does not do that for me when I'm upset.' She thought as her heart pounds, but then she just nods. "Yeah, just tell him I'm alright, I was just getting more pie." She says making up an excuse.

Oleg nods. "Ok i'll tell him." Says while sticking his head out but stops and looks at Caroline. "Be sure to tell him that those gumdrops are from the cold instead of from excitement." He says while pointing at her chest and then he leaves.

After Oleg is gone both Max and Caroline put their hands down, Max then looks at Caroline. "Alright. Story. Go." She says while waving her hand.

Caroline clears her throat. "We met at our parents' companies' picnic. His family is the Boston Van Horns-" She was about to say.

Max waves her hands. "Story. Stop." She interrupts. "Cut to the end. Do we hate him?" She asks.

"He dumped me when I lost all my money, never called me, not an email, just nothing." She says with a hurtful tone in her voice.

Max nods her head, now understanding. "Oh, we hate him." she while exiting the freezer but stops and looks at Caroline. "Wait, which one's your ex, the Asian one, the black one?" she asks but chuckles. "I'm Kidding." she says but got serious. "No, seriously. The white one or the really, really white one?" She asks, wondering which one of the four is Caroline's ex.

"The really, really white." Caroline answers, making Max nod, so they both exit the freezer.

At the diner William is beating on the table while chanting service with his friends laughing, while Jason and Alan look at them with annoyed looks on their faces. Jason was about to get up to tell William to shut up, but a hand from Max on his left shoulder stopped him, making him look at her. "I got this." she whispers while giving him a wink and a pat on his left shoulder, then she walks up to the booth where William and his friends are, when she gets there she puts her hands on her hips with an unamused look on her face. "You heard you bro, service him." She says.

Three of the guys just laughed. "Oh, crushed!" They yell while still laughing.

William widens his eyes in surprise but laughs instead. "Hey, you better be careful, 'cause I can give you a run on your money." He says with a smug look on his face.

Max just stands there while just shrugging her shoulders. "I don't have any money." She says not really caring.

"Well, with a body like that, you don't need any." He says while looking up and down at Max, liking what he sees.

"BA-BAM!" A guy with brown hair yells, then all the guys in the booth start to laugh.

Jason looks at William with a glare. "The fuck, he say about Max?" He asks in a whisper with a growl while clenching his right fist.

Alan notices his best-friend's anger is rising, so he puts his right hand on Jason's left shoulder. "Hey, calm down man, I don't want my best-friend to start a fight and go to jail." Alan says to try to calm Jason down.

Max just stands there not really impressed. "Did you actually think that was a good line,or is that what you do the check gets paid by Richie Rich?" She asks sarcastically while pointing at William.

William raises his right hand to silence his friends and then raises his right eyebrow. "Hold on. Who said I was rich?" He asks, wondering how Max knows he's rich.

Max just stands there with her hands on her hips. "Let me see your hand." She says

William gets confused but raises his left hand to show Max. "What, looking to see if I have poor-people calluses?" He says with a chuckle.

Max just looks at William's hand. "No, I wanted to see how big your penis is." She says , making him look at his hand. "With Hands that size, you better be rich." She says, not really impressed with his hand size.

Both Alan and Jason widened their eyes with shock. "DAMN!" They both yell, making everyone look at them. "You got your ass roasted, you rich bitch." Jason says, making Alan start to laugh, while Max just smirks at Jason.

"OH, SHAZAM!" Says the brown-haired guy with a smile and starts to laugh, but William just shakes his head. Then looks at Jason. "Not cool bro." He says while shaking his head.

Jason just brushes it off. "I don't care." He says while drinking his coffee.

William just looks at Max with interest in his eye. "What's your name?" He asks while pulling out his phone.

Max just stands there with an unamused look on her face, knowing where this is going. 'Oh, boy here we go, this guy is probably stupid, because he can't read my name tag.' She says in her thoughts. "Michelle Obama, and we're closed." She says not really interested.

William just has a smug look on his face and is really interested in Max. "I'm Wliliam." He introduces himself, which she already knows his name and doesn't really care. He sticks out his phone towards her. "Give me your number." He says.

Jason is glaring at William, knowing what he's trying to do. 'Dumbass, doesn't know when to take a hint, when a woman gives you a fake name.' He thought while clenching his fists with his nails piercing through his skin.

Max gives William an annoyed look. "Why, so you can put it in your phone and never call or text or email." She asks with sarcasm.

William just shrugs, while still holding his phone out. "Seriously." He says, really wants to have Max's number.

"You wouldn't know what to do with a good girl if you had one." Max says while getting irritated with William.

William just looks at Max with a smug look. "But you're not a good girl. That's why I want your number." He says, making her glare at her while he just smirks. "So how-" He is about to say something but hand slams on a table making the guys and even Max jump in surprise.

The hand on the table is from Jason with a pissed off look on his face. "If a lady is giving you a damn sign, that she's not interested. Take the fucking hint." He says with a growl while glaring at William.

"U-uh, who are you, her boyfriend or something?" William asks with a stutter, while being uncomfortable with Jason's glare.

Jason leans towards William to look him in the eyes. "It's best that you mind your business." Jason says with a stern tone, he then looks towards a clock on a wall of the diner that's beside Earl's desk and the clock says twelve fifty nine PM, Earl just looks at Jason with a surprised look on his face. Then Jason looks back william. "I think it's best that you and your buddies leave, because the diner is about to close." He says sternly.

Max just stands there watching Jason. 'shit , never seen Jason like this before, but I do see him get angry at times, but pissed off is a different story.' She thought, but started to smile at Jason without him noticing. 'But I like it~.' She thought with a seductive tone in her head, while her body started to get warm up, so she crossed her legs together and bit her bottom lip.

William finally gets his courage back and has his smug look. "But their sign says it closes at two o'clock PM." Hey says smugly. "And plus bad-girl is starting to warm up to me." He says arrogantly, Max hears what he says and she just rolls her eyes in disgust.

Jason just glares at William while making a fist and is ready to slug him, before Jason could make a move, a sound of something hard slams against something can be heard, this makes everyone look at the source.

It is revealed it was Earl with a bat in his hands, then he uses it to change one of the clock's hands making it say one fifty-nine PM. "My, my, how time does fly." He says, then he points at william and his buddies with a stern look on his face. "I think it's best that all four of you should start moving." He says while using the bat to pat on his hand to make William and his buddies know that he's not messing around.

"What about those two?" William asks while pointing at Jason and Alan.

Earl just shrugs. "They're our regular customers." He answers simply.

William just scoffs, while him and his buddies get up and start to leave, but William stops and turns towards Max, he is about to get close to her whispering something to her ear, but Jason gets in front of him and gives him a glare. "Don't stop, you need to keep walking." He says with a threatening tone. William just scoffs and walks away. Jason turns towards Max while giving her a soft look. "You alright, Max?" He asks softly.

Max just nods. "Yeah I'm fine. But you know I could handle myself right?" She asks while having her hands on her hips. 'But I'm really thankful that you intervened.' She thought softly.

Jason just shrugs. "I know you could, just wanted to help out." He says while looking at her eyes.

Max couldn't help but look at Jason's brown eyes, this makes her heart pound. After looking at each other, Max gets out of her daze. "I-i gonna get back in the kitchen and help, Caroline." She says while walking towards the kitchen door. 'Did I just stutter?' She thought to herself, while pushing the door to enter the kitchen.

When Max enters the kitchen, Caroline comes up to her at a fast pace. "You didn't mention me did you?" She asks with a worried tone.

Max just shakes her head. "Nope." She says simply and looks at Caroline. "And I hate him." She says.

Caroline just shakes her head in confusion. "That was the weirdest thing, seeing him come in here." She says but then she looks at Max with a shock expression. "And I've never seen Jason that mad before." She says.

Max just nods. "Never seen that either." She says but then she starts to smile seductively. "I like it." She says while biting her lower lip. Caroline just gives her an eye roll but smiles.

Outside of the kitchen, Jason goes back to his seat and starts to drink his coffee in silence, but looks at him with worry. "You alright, bro?" He asks, wondering if his best friend is ok.

Jason just nods. "Yeah I'm ok." He answers to reassure Alan.

Alan nods. "To be honest, it's a rare occasion to see you pissed off." He says.

Just then Han walks into the diner wearing a hipster style outfit. "Nope, that's a rare occasion to see." Jason says, as he points at Han with his coffee mug. "What's up with the get-up, Han?" He asks.

Han looks at both Jason and Alan with an excited smile on his face. "A girl from Urban Outfitter said it was hip." He says. "What do you guys think?" He asks.

Before Alan or Jason could say anything, both Max and Caroline came out of the kitchen and saw what Han was wearing. Max just laughs. "Dude, you look like a lesbian, that I made out with on a dare." She says through laughter. Han just lightly glares at her.

Caroline couldn't help but smile at Han. "Han, you look adorable." She says. "But why are you wearing that?" She asks, wondering why he's dressed as a hipster.

Han just looks down innocently and fiddles his fingers. "To get girls." He says simply.

"OH!/oh." Everyone says, the girls think that's adorable, while the guys just understand. "You know Han, if you want a girlfriend, just be yourself, because girls will choose the real Han over the fake hipster Han." Alan says, making Han nod his head in understanding. Then Han goes towards his office to change his clothing.

At the rundown laundromat, Max is putting some of hers and Caroline's dirty clothes in a washer machine, while Caroline is looking around the place with amazement on her face. "To be honest, I thought my first trip to the laundromat would be depressing." She says.

Just then a guy with a button up shirt with no pants comes into the laundromat and he walks towards a dryer to see if his clothes are dry, but they're not, so he closes the dryer and walks away disappointed. Caroline cringes in disgust at what she saw.

Max just shakes her head. "Six years we spent together, and now he won't even look at me." she says jokingly while smirking. Caroline just rolls her eyes and starts to sit down on a stool where purse is on a table and pulls out the plastic bag of bills. Seeing this, Max gets annoyed. "Oh, not the bag, I just saw the Sad Divorce Guy's bag. And now I'm looking at yours?" Max complains, making Caroline look at her with an unamused look on her face.

Caroline is about to say something, but just then both Jason and Alan walk in the laundromat with bags on their backs. "So the plan of getting more money is to be a famous YouTuber? Jason asks, which Alan nods. "Eeehh, I don't know man, I don't think that's gonna work." Jason says with an unsure look.

"What?! Of course it's gonna work, all I have to do is get a digital camera, record myself while I pretend that I'm a badass influencer that inspires people to be successful." Alan says while both him and Jason came up to two washer machines, they put their bags on top of them and then they put some dirty clothes in the machines.

Max looks at both Jason and Alan and smirks at them, while both of them are busy with their laundry. "Well, well, well, if it ain't the Groper and String Bean." She says, getting both Jason and Alan's attention. "Are you boys, stalking us now?" She asks teasingly while having her hands on her hips.

Caroline puts the plastic bag back in her purse and puts her right hand over chest with a playful look of shock. "Alan, I'm so flattered that you're stalking me, but bringing your friend with you to stalk, is over the line." She says jokingly.

Alan widens his eyes. "W-w-what? No we're n-not stalking you girls, me and Jason are just here to do laundry." He says nervously.

Both Caroline and Max start to laugh. "Relax, we're just kidding, there's no reason to freak out." Max says while chuckling.

Jason just rolls his eyes. "You girls are gonna give us a heart attack or get us arrested." He says while putting more dirty clothes in his washer machine. "So, what are you girls up to?" He asks.

Max walks up to one of the washer machines that's in front of Jason and starts to lean on it while putting her hands under her chin and looking at him. "Oh you know, doing mine and Caroline's laundry and seeing a guy's junk. Eh, just the same thing for me." She says as she just shrugs her shoulders, while Jason just listens and nods.

Just then a group of hipsters that's some eighties style comes in making everyone look at them confused. "Um, what's happening right now?" Caroline asks as she looks at Alan wondering if he knows, but he only shrugs and shakes his head, not knowing what's going on.

Then a woman with glasses while wearing a suit with a guy with glasses that dresses like Boy George from the eighties, comes up to them. "Hola, dudarinos, the laundromat's closing early, because we've rented it out for our eighties pop-out disco." She says while crossing her arms. "Show them the pamphlet, Bobby." She says, making Bobby give them a pamphlet.

Max grabs the pamphlet and reads it. "Shouldn't it be called "Eighties pop-up, for lame hipsters that will do anything to be an ironic and lame even more" party?" She says sarcastically while thinking that the party is gonna be stupid.

The woman in the white suit lifts her eyebrow. "Lame? I don't think so." she says while pointing at something on the pamphlet.

Max widens her eyes and gasps in shock. "What, Vicki from small wonders is coming?!" She asks with excitement in her tone.

The woman in the white put her right hand close to her ear to pretend she could hear better. "OH! Embarrassed to be you right now." She says making Max look at her with jealousy, Caroline just looks with confusion, while Jason and Alan are busy with their laundry. "Unless you chicks or your boyfriends have seventy five disco-lovin bucks, If not be gone in ten minutes, or my man here will throw you out. Don't let his tube top fool you. Because Bobby here is mad wiry." She threatens, while Bobby nods.

Then all the girls and Bobby hear laughter making them look to see that both Jason and Alan are the two that are laughing, Jason calms down and looks at both the hipsters. "Let me tell you something hipster, if you're gonna use a threat, don't use Bobby over there as a bouncer. that 's gonna give you guys a bad name, because a skinny guy is beating up girls." He says, then he points at Max. " Max over there, does not let anybody push her around. She's tough." He says, making Max smirk. "And plus Bobby will get his ass kicked by me and Alan because we used to box back in high school, and we do not like bullies." He says, which Alan nods as he starts to pop his knuckles.

Bobby now gets nervous. "H-hey man, no need to get violent, man. We didn't mean to threaten you guys' girlfriends." He says with a nervous stutter with his hands up as he hides behind the woman in the white suit as she also looks nervous.

Alan gives them a stern look. "Ok, no violence. But can we do our laundry? And plus these two girls are not our girlfriends" He says while pointing at Max and Caroline.

The woman in the white suit nods her head nervously. "Y-yeah sure thing, dude. Hope you and your boyfriend finish getting your clothes." She says with a nervous stutter as both her and start to walk away. Both Jason and Alan look at them confused.

"Wow, you two sure do show them who's boss, and I didn't know you and Jason are a couple." Caroline says, really impressed by what just happened. 'Damn it, I should've known he's gay. Why do all cute guys like him have to be gay?' She thought while being secretly disappointed

Alan widens his eyes in shock. "WHAT! No, Jason and I are not gay." He says quickly.

"Yeah, he and I have been like brothers ever since middle school." Jason says while he's busy with the laundry.

Max looks at them with a surprised look on her face. "Wow, the only time I see my old friends from high school after graduation is from a one night stand." She says. "But what made my day was seeing those two walking with their tails between their legs." She says as she laughs and then gives Jason a high five.

Outside the streets of Brooklyn at night Max and Caroline are outside walking while having a horse on a leash, as Max is holding a shovel, and with the girls is Jason and Alan because Max and Caroline invite them to hangout, but both men couldn't help but look at the horse with shock on their faces.

"I can't believe you girls have a horse." Alan says while looking at the horse.

"I can't believe you're walking him like a dog." Jason says. "But why do you have a shovel?" Jason asks while looking at Max with a shovel.

Max just looks at Jason and just shrugs. "Eh, sometimes I come out here to hit two guys with a shovel, and you and Alan are my next victims." She says, and he looks at her with a scared look on his face but then they both start to laugh. "But the real answer is, I use this to shovel Chestnut's poop and put it in a dumpster." She says, while he nods that he understands. Then All four of them stop in front of the laundromat, as music can be heard while some of the Hipsters that's wearing eighties style clothing are outside dancing. "Come on, Chestnut, go poo-poo near the hipsters." She says while petting Chestnut, then she looks at Carolie and the boys, with a devious smile. "Hey, how cool would it be if I used the shovel to throw Chestnut's poop at the hipsters?" She asks.

Alan looks at Max with a raised eyebrow. "Are you trying to prove, people, that we evolved from apes?" Alan asks, then the group starts to chuckle.

Caroline just looks at the party at the laundromat and watches all the hipsters dancing with a raised eyebrow. "How can all of those people have seventy-five dollars just to dance at a laundromat?" She asks, Max, Jason, and Alan just shrug while they pet Chestnut. "I've been doing my roots with white-out." She says.

"Eh, to be honest, hipsters will do anything to fit in, but they keep failing. There was that one time back in Texas at a Spanish neighborhood that Jason used to live in. These hipsters move in the neighborhood and try to be like they know what the Spanish community wants, which they don't." Alan says while scratching Chestnut's back ear, which the horse enjoys. "Jason and the Spanish community had enough, so we gathered people from my neighborhood to be at the Spanish neighborhood and we pretended to be the redneck neighbors to scare them off." He says.

Max smirks and nods her head. "Nice, rednecks one and hipsters zero." She says while giving Alan a high five.

Caroline looks at Jason with a surprised look on her face. "Wait, Jason, you used to live in a Spanish neighborhood." She asks, Jason just nods. "But, you're white." She says.

Jason just smiles. "El hogar no es el color de la piel, mi querida amiga Caroline, es el lugar de donde proviene tu corazón y tu alma." Jason says while speaking in perfect spanish, which surprises the girls, while he and Alan laugh at their reaction. Translation:(Home is not a skin color my dear friend Caroline, it's where your heart and soul is from.)

"DUDE! Your Spanish is awesome, the words of Spanish I know are curse words and sex." Max says, while Jason looks at her with an amused look on his face.

Two hipsters run out of a building with excitement on their faces. "Dudes! Can we ride your horse?" Asks a guy who's wearing a purple jacket.

"Sure, one hundred bucks." Max says sarcastically while giving both the hipsters a deadpan look.

Then the guy in the purple pulls out his wallet. "Okay i'm gonna look for an ATM machine, just stay right there we'll be right back." He says as he and his friend go somewhere to find an ATM to get some money.

Caroline widens her eyes in realization. "OH MY GOD!" She yells making Max, Jason, and Alan look at her. "Max, we are literally looking our gift horse in the mouth. We have something that's better than an eighties disco party. We have a horse!" Caroline says with excitement, Max and the boys just look at her wondering what she's planning. "If we throw a big enough party, charge hipsters for horse rides, we could pay off your student loan!" Caroline Explains.

Max lifts her eyebrow. "You'd whore out Chestnut like that, don't you have to get him hooked on heroin first?" She asks jokingly.

Jason looks at Chestnut in the eye while petting. "Well Chestnut, looks like you have two pimps, be prepared for the slaps if you don't have enough money to give them." He says jokingly, making Alan, Caroline, and Max laugh. After laughing for about a minute the group started to walk and enjoy each other's company in silence.

The next day Jason and Alan are at their apartment building, with Jason laying on the couch while holding a journal and writing something in it, while Alan is on a laptop, watching an influencer on YouTube while sitting on a recliner. Alan pauses the video. "For a bald guy, he sure does know how to piss some people off, and get rich from it." He says, then he looks at Jason and notices that he's busy with his journal. "How many pages do you have left in your story?" Alan asks.

Jason stops writing. "About one more chapter." He says while closing his journal. Just then someone knocks on their door, which confuses Jason. "Were you expecting company?" He asks, wondering who's out the door..

Alan shakes his head. "Nope." He answers as he goes towards the door. "Who is it?" He asks the person outside of the door.

"Um, room service." Says the person with a deep voice.

Jason sits up from the couch and raises an eyebrow. "That's weird, this building doesn't have room service." He says while putting his journal on a coffee table

Alan opens the door and it's revealed to be no other than Max, who's leaning against the door frame. "Sup losers." She says while entering the apartment and looks around. "Wow this place is more crappy than my apartment." She says, then sits down on the couch beside Jason she looks at him. "hola manoseador." She says, in Spanish with a teasing smirk. Translate:(Hey groper.)

Jason just rolls his eyes. "Hola Max, I see you found a way to call me groper in Spanish." He says.

"Yep and I'm glad I did." Max says with a proud look on her face.

Alan looks at Max with a raised eyebrow. "How did you know where we live?" He asks.

Max puts her feet on the coffee table and starts to relax. "I followed you guys here." She answers, then she notices Jason's journal. "What's that?" She asks while grabbing it and showing it to jason.

Jason took his journal back from Max. "That would be my journal." He says while going into his room to hide his journal and comes back to the couch.

"A journal, like you write your personal thoughts?" Max asks.

Jason shakes his head. "It's a journal for a book that I'm working on." He says as he lean against the couch.

"Really an author, what kind of book is it that you're working on?" Max asks with interest in her in her eyes.

Jason scratches the back of his head. "Well, I can't tell you the full thing. So you have to wait until it's done." He says, which Max nods in understanding.

"Say, Max where's Caroline at?" Alan asks, wondering why Caroline is not with Max.

Max just shrugs. "She's over at the diner putting up some decorations for the nineties party." She answers, but she raises an eyebrow. "Why, you want to ask her out or something?" She asks teasingly.

Alan froze. "What, no just wondering where she's at that's all and plus she's looks like one of those girls that wants a guy that is a jock or rich, so me and her probably won't work." He says trying to hide his feelings for Caroline.

Max just looks at Alan with a suspicious look. "Yeah, right." She says not really buying it, but then she pulls out two papers and gives one of them to Jason, then she gets up and gives the other one to Alan. "Both of you guys are officially invited to the party for free, just make sure to dress like you're from the nineties." She says, while going to the door to exit out of the apartment and go back to the diner. "I'll see ya losers, tonight at the party." She says, as she leaves while giving them a wave. Both Alan and Jason both read their invitations.

Night time at the diner, where the nineties party is going on with music blasting loud, people outside or inside of the diner having a good time while Chestnut is outside. Both Jason and Alan are both at their counter dressing like they're from the nineties, eating hamburgers with fries while drinking cokes.

Max comes up to Jason and Alan. "So, you guys enjoying the party?" She asks.

Jason nods. "Yeah we are. Well, except for Oleg over there." He says, as he and Max look at Oleg who is upset. "He thought you and Caroline said this is "nineties whores party" dude needs to stop thinking about sex." He says, but he and Max just look at each other. "Nah." They both say as they start to laugh.

Max gives two cupcakes to Jason and Alan. "Enjoy the free cupcakes guys." She says as she leaves and goes toward Earl who's DJing.

Earl looks up at Max and smiles at her. "What a turnout, Max, this reminds me of the after-hours of one of the clubs I used to go to, you know if the cool cats shooting dope were replaced by sad, white fools sipping light beers." He says, making her laugh. "By the way Max, aren't you gonna ask Jason to dance?" He asks while pointing at Jason, who is eating his cupcake.

Max lift and eyebrow. "Earl, are you trying to hook me up with someone?" She asks, Earl nods. "But, Earl, you're the only guy I can think of right now." She says jokingly. "And plus I don't think it's gonna workout, because he's Mr. Positive, while I'm Ms. Negative." She says with disappointment in her tone as she starts to look down.

Earl uses his left hand and puts it under Max's chin, then lifts her head to make her look at him. "Listen to this old crow, Max. So what you two are opposite, they will attract each other no matter how opposite they are." He says gently, She just listens. "Jason, seems like he's a good man. I think he's the best choice for you." He says.

Max just smiles. "Alright, I'll give him a shot." She says, making Earl smile and nod at her. "But just not right now, but maybe later, because I have work to do." She says, which nods in understanding.

Just then Han walks in excitedly with a t-shirt of himself with his hand up, with the words saying "TALK TO THE HAN!". "Max, Look! I did some research and made myself a 1990s trivia t-shirt." He says excitedly, as he points to his shirt, which Max looks at. "What do you think?" He asks.

Max nods in approval. "That's actually cool." She says giving Han a thumbs up.

"I am hoping it will help me…" Han tries to say but he pauses himself and gets nervous.

"To get laid?" Max asks to finish Han's sentence. He just nods and walks away nervously.

Caroline comes out of the kitchen and comes up to some hipsters with a platter with cupcakes on it. "Care to purchase a tamagotchi or a 90210-reo cupcake?" She asks while showing them the cupcakes.

The woman from the laundromat came up to Caroline with her arms crossed. "We came here wanting to hate on you chicks hard." She says, but then she starts to smile. "But the horse at the back is awesome." She says excitedly while pointing outside, where Chestnut is. "You have bested us, party beast, so I doff my cap to you." She says with a bow while pretending she's taking off a hat, Caroline smiles from the praises she's getting. "So how much for the cupcakes?" She asks while pointing at the cupcakes.

"Ten dollars each." Caroline answers.

"Oh, and yet I still doff my cap to you, m'lady." The woman hipster says, while pretending she's taking off her hat again to Caroline, she pulls out her wallet and then pulls out sixty dollars, she gives it to Caroline, but there's also a folded piece of paper, which confuses Caroline. "Can you give that to that cute guy?" She asks while pointing towards somebody, Caroline looks to who the woman is pointing, it is revealed to be Alan, who is eating his cupcake. "Because ever since he and his friend threatened me and my friend Bobby, I couldn't get him out of my mind." She says.

Carolines just smiles. "Sure thing." She says, trying her hardest to not sound like she's pissed with jealousy while she grabs the money and the folded phone number. 'Please as if you don't even look like his type.' She thought. When the woman grabs the platter full of cupcakes and turns towards her table with her friends, Caroline crumbs up the paper of the phone number and puts it in her apron's pocket and walks towards the counter, where Max is, who is talking to Alan and Jason. "Hey guys. Enjoying the party?" Caroline asks, getting their attention while she starts to roll up the money with the others.

Alan gives Caroline a smile and she blushes a little but he doesn't notice. "We're having fun, just enjoying the food and this cupcake." Alan says.

Max gives him and Jason a cup of coffee, but she notices something. "Oh man, poor Han." She says making the group look to see Han is dancing nervously, hoping that one of the hipster girls notice.

Seeing Han dance like that makes Caroline feel sad. "Oh man, that's so sad." She says making Alan and Jason nod in agreement.

Jason gets up. "I'm going over there, and give Han a hand." He says as he's about to walk towards Han.

Max clears her throat making Jason look at her. "Do you mean, you're going over there, and give him a Han job?" She asks jokingly with a teasing smirk on her face, he just rolls his eyes but smiles as he continues to walk towards Han and help him.

Just then William and his friend walks in the diner. Caroline widens her eyes in surprise. "William!" She says in shock while running towards the kitchen to hide from her ex, Max follows her.

William looks around the diner to look at the people at the party who are having fun, but his eyes land on Jason who's talking to Han, so he walks toward him with his buddies following behind him.

William gets close to Jason and taps him on the shoulder making him look at him. "You think you're tough?" He asks, and then he gives Jason a left hook to the jaw, making him grab his jaw in pain while he's about to fall backwards but Han catches him and tries to hold him up. "So, how does that feel, tough guy?" William asks while grinning from seeing Jason in pain.

Then the party stops and everyone looks in shock at what happened. After the pain is gone Jason glares at William. "Que demonios te pasa, bastardo!?" He asks in Spanish with a pissed tone. Translate:(What the Hell is wrong with you, bastard?)

"You got slammed sucker!" Yells the guy with brown hair while giving William a high-five, and the group of friends start laughing.

Jason just clinched his fist and gave William a fast and hard right jab to the face and quickly left upper cuts him, breaking his teeth and knocking him out cold. Everyone in the diner just pauses in shock, never seen how fast the fight just ended.

One of William's friends with brown gets out of his shock state and glares at Jason and starts to get in a sloppy fighting stance. "Oh, it's on bro." He says and is about to attack.

But a fist knocks the brown hair guy out, it's revealed to be Alan who did that. "No one calls him bro, but me." He says while walking beside Jason. Then they both look at the two remaining who are looking down at their fallen friends. "You guys gonna come down here to finish your friends' fights or are you gonna carry them and call an uber to take them? The choice is all yours guys." Alan says with a threatening tone.

Both of the guys raise their hands in surrender, so they grab William and their other friend separately, then they exit the diner. Everything is just quiet, Han then comes up to Jason and Alan. "Jason, are you alright, do you need to go to the doctor?" He asks with a worried tone for his friend.

Jason just waves his hand and just smiles at Han. "Nah, I don't need a doctor, I'll be fine." He says, but he notices the party has stopped and everyone is looking at him and Alan. "Why has the party stopped? Come on everyone, let's put the music back on and let's party like we're party animals!" He yells to have everyone forget what happened.

Everyone starts to cheer and the party is back on. Alan looks at everyone who is partying and just nods his head. "Well that was something, right jason?" He asks and looks at Jason and notices that he's clutching his jaw and blood is dripping out of his mouth. "Did he break your jaw?" He asks with a worried tone.

Jason shakes his head. "Nah, he didn't really hit me that hard, but I do think he was wearing a ring, probably wants to win a fight, but his way." He says while holding his jaw.

Alan just nods, so both him and Jason go towards the counter and sit down on their stools. After a minute later, both Caroline and Max walk out of the kitchen, Caroline is holding a roll of money and starts to look around the party in the diner to look for something, but she couldn't find anything.

"What are you looking for Caroline?" Alan asks while raising his eyebrow.

Caroline looks at Alan with a frown on her face. "I'm looking for William, so i could show him how much money I made, to his face." She says while showing the rolled up money to Alan and Jason. But she notices Jason holding his jaw and also sees blood coming out of his mouth. "What happened to you?" She asks with a worried tone.

Max looks at Jason and widens her eyes. "Yo, who the hell hit you?" She asks, trying to hide her anger, while she gets some ice from the bar counter, then she puts the ice in a cloth and gets a napkin then she places the iced cloth on Jason's right side of his jaw. "Here, so that way you won't get a bruise." She says, while gently cleaning the blood off his mouth.

Feeling the ice on Jason's right side of his face and the pain starts to go away. "Man, that feels better, thanks. To answer your question, William and his buddies came back here in the diner, he then came up to me and hit me with a cheap left hook, but took care of him while Alan took care of the cheerleader boy." He says with a smile on his face, while looking at Max's beautiful face.

Max smiles back, but then she frowns and shakes her head with disappointment. "I don't get it. Why would William come back here." She asks.

Caroline just shakes her head with a disappointed look on her face, then she sighs. "He does this kind of stuff, to show he's "Top Dog" because he's rich." She says while rolling her eyes, but then she looks at Alan and gives him a smile. "Alan, helping your friend, is a great friend." She says while looking at his blue eyes.

Alan starts to blush, so he waves his hand playfully with a smile on his face. "Oh stop, you're making me blush, Caroline." He says as he starts to look at Caroline's beautiful blue eyes. Then he sticks out his right hand towards her. "Care for a nineties style dance, Ms. Channing?" He asks with a British accent.

Caroline blushes, but smiles and takes Alan's hand. "Yes you may, Mr. Cause." She says with a British accent, while they both go to the dance floor and start to dance together.

Both Jason and Max are just watching, Alan and Caroline dance while enjoying themselves, Jason looks at Max. "You want to dance also?" He asks while sticking his right hand out to her.

Max just looks at Jason's offered hand, starts to think. "Eh, why not, but I'm not grabbing your hand like you're a toddler that has to go to the bathroom." She teases with a smirk on her face, as she goes around the counter, walking pass Jason to the dance with everybody else, but she stops then turns around towards him and use her left first first finger to make a come here motion with a serious look on her face, but trying hide her little smirk.

Jason just smiles, shakes his head and walks towards Max, they start to dance together with Alan and Caroline beside them and everybody is enjoying the party. While Han is with the gassed wearing hipster woman and is making out with her.
