Chapter 6: Sandcastle Water Park
The next day, I met up with Sarah, James, and Henri, as well as some of my other friends Alex Russo, Justin Evans, and Max Greenwald at Sandcastle Water Park for a day of fun in the sun. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. We listened to 98 Degrees and Lizzo prior to our day at the park. We tried everything at the park, including the waterslides Blue Tubaluba, Thunder Run, Tower Tubers, and Boardwalk Blasters, along with the lazy river and the wave pool. "We are once again being daredevils on the water slides, Max," Henri happily stated. "But, we are being fun daredevils, Henri," Max stated. "Summer is flying by so quickly, isn't it, Justin?" James stated. "Of course, James," Justin replied. "Then, the next thing that I will look forward to once summer is over and colder weather comes again is Christmas." "Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, too," James agreed. "My favorite Christmas memory was back in 2004 when we celebrated presents and had a nice dinner." "Wait until we go back to the church in Duquesne for another potluck this year," Justin stated. "Sarah, I am seeing some seniors from Music Support Group Academy in all 3 locations whom I have never seen before and do not know," Alex pointed out. "Was your senior trip to Sandcastle fun, Alex?" Sarah asked. "Yes, every trip that I went on my senior year was fun, including Sandcastle, Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, and of course, Kennywood, which I will be talking about the next few weeks," Alex explained. "Hannah Mifflin plans to come here on Friday to celebrate her birthday and the last day of graduation camp," I told my friends. "We need to finish our awesome summer 2024 on a bang rather than a whimper, especially since I am trying to lose weight! Summer is not over yet, and probably will not be for another 2 months." Then, we ate dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse just down the road. After dinner, it was time for all of us to go home. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
