1234andynguyen - It would certainly be nice, that's for sure
The it - True, very true. For as peaceful as it is, there always seems to be some sort of shenanigans happening. XD
6UnTalentedArtist9 - Hmm... you're not too far off. I was thinking more of a holodeck from Star Trek that you 'program' with your thoughts, but that analogy isn't bad either.
A/N - Hey there, everycreature! Been a busy month for me so far, but I've learned a lot of new things, so I can't complain. Remember to be kind, and enjoy the chapter!
After taking a little time to gush over the implications of the magic contained within this room, Twilight went back to studying it. Ever the curious little bookworm, she wanted to know every secret this apparently advanced magic had to offer. For a while, I humored her and simply sat by, watching as she worked, horn glowing and thrumming faintly with magical power as she studied the inner workings of the spell, or more likely spells. However, as exciting as it may have been for her, from an outside perspective, it was very, very boring. So boring, in fact, that eventually, even the ever-curious Vrondi began to disperse and leave us to our own devices.
An idea came to me as I watched and waited, one which had buzzed around in my mind a time or two already, and I smirked as I decided to go through with it, to have a little fun with the mulberry mare. "Hey Twilight, I think it's time to take a little break, you've been at that forever." As I finished my statement, which seemed to make Twilight shiver faintly, I imagined her wearing a collar made of red, faux-leather and adorned with a golden ring and buckle.
To my surprise, when she turned around to regard me with that cute, head-cocked expression that told me she was feeling inquisitive, the lovely librarian was indeed wearing the collar, exactly as I'd pictured it in my mind. She opened her mouth to speak, but stopped and tried to look down when she apparently felt the illusory collar shift on her neck. In a Twilight-shaped puff of air and blur of motion that ponies always seemed to stir when they moved quickly, the lovely librarian rushed to the room's only mirror. I could see her eyes widen as the collar came into view, and she slowly reached a purple hoof up to touch it. Several long moments later, Twilight turned to me, face practically glowing the same, bright red as the collar with the deep blush covering it.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the expression my studious lover wore. The embarrassed bewilderment was absolutely priceless, and just what I'd hoped to see. "What can I say? Derpy made me curious~" As I spoke, I stood from the bed, and took a step toward her. Even though Twilight gulped and looked up at me with a clearly nervous glint in her eye, she didn't shy away from my touch. "If you don't want this, we don't have to do anything with it, Twi. I was only playing." Though I knew she trusted me, I also wanted to make sure my lovely little marefriend was well aware I wasn't trying to force her into anything she either didn't want or wasn't ready for.
To my mild surprise, Twilight actually smiled and took a step forward. "I-I don't mind." She replied, still nervous. "After you and Derpy told us what was going on, I got curious too, and I looked into it." The blush covering that pretty, purple face deepened somehow, and she looked away. "I trust you, Blake. I wouldn't do this with just anypony, but I trust you to try this with me, and to stop if I get uncomfortable. And… I trust you to comfort me if I get scared." That last statement was made with shining, amethyst eyes turned up to meet my own, giving me a pang of pure love as I saw the truth of her words in those beautiful, soulful orbs.
It seemed Twilight really had done her research, if she was already aware of the importance of aftercare. Of course, I was by no means an expert when it came to fetish sexuality, but I did know some, and I was always willing to learn more about it. "Thank you, Twilight." I said, kneeling down and smiling as I kissed her deeply. "Your trust means more to me than I could ever put into words, and I mean that."
The lovely librarian smiled at me and nodded lightly. "And you've earned every bit of that trust… Master~" That last word was delivered with a hint of a purr, and it sent a shiver down my spine. "Ooh, I like that feeling." The experimentally submissive mare remarked, echoing my own thoughts almost perfectly.
Almost of its own accord, the relatively plain bed within the room shifted into a large, four-poster affair with what looked like some sort of soft shackles at each of the sturdy, wooden pillars marking each corner. I could only guess that Twilight had been behind that particular change, unless I had somehow done so subconsciously, which was well within the realm of possibility, all things considered. "Come now, Master… don't keep your good girl waiting~" Another shiver ran along my spine, and I grinned. I could tell already that this was going to be something special for the both of us, something I doubted either of us would want to end by the time all was said and done.
Suddenly, Twilight let out a small 'eep' of surprise as I scooped her up and deposited her light form on the bed. "Don't you worry, my little pet~" I purred as I crawled onto the bed with her, and took one of the very straps she herself had seemingly conjured in hand. "Master is going to make sure this is a night for both of us to remember~" I had almost forgotten about my new strength when I picked the lithe little bookkeeper up, but it fortunately came to my mind just before anything dangerous could occur. Though she may have gotten tossed a little higher than I had intended.
Twilight, seemingly oblivious to the near-slip, blushed up at me as I took one of her forelegs, and slipped the padded manacle around her wrist, cinching it down only slightly snugly before moving to the next. "Y-you know, Master… I hadn't even heard of this kind of play before you came here." She admitted, sounding nervous and excited in the same breath. "I-in fact, I didn't know love making could be for anything but making foals. I hadn't been attracted to anypony before you, so I didn't even know what it felt like to be aroused. It makes me so happy that you're taking the time to teach me… and to learn with me." As Twilight spoke, I continued to secure her into place, leaving the submissive mare perfectly spread-eagled and vulnerable to anything I wanted to do with her… or to her.
When she finished speaking, I leaned down and kissed those soft, purple lips tenderly. "You're very welcome, my sweet pet. I'm looking forward to learning more about this with you, and with Derpy." I smirked down at her, and whispered into one of those attentive ears. "And maybe the three of us can learn together sometime~" I felt Twilight's body shiver faintly beneath me, and I guessed that she liked the idea.
The next few hours, or so I guessed as I hadn't bothered to keep track of time, were spent with Twilight and I exploring many of the nuances of the life that a Dominant and his submissive led. The knowledge Twilight had gained in her studies proved invaluable, as she knew things even I had yet to learn about, and by the time we were finished, the two of us were exhausted and sated in equal measure.
When the ordeal was finally over, Twilight's slender little form, coat damp with a sheen of sweat, lay curled against me in a bed that was vastly different from the one the room had started with. Her hind end was also significantly more red than purple now, though there were no complaints to be heard. "Mmm… I enjoyed that a lot, my Master~" The soft cooing of her voice sent a pleasant thrill along my spine, and I couldn't help but smile as I ran my fingers through that multi-colored mane.
"I did as well, my lovely little pet~" I could feel the slight shiver course along Twilight's own body as I said that. It seemed she and Derpy would both be enjoying more of this sort of play in the future, perhaps even together. "I knew a little about this kind of thing from… before, but I never knew it could be this satisfying." Most of what I knew came from a few, particular pieces of 'adult entertainment' I had come across, followed by some brief research before I was swept off to other endeavors by the hustle and bustle of life on Earth.
A slow, deep sigh of contentment was the only answer I received for several moments. "It's strange how things have changed for all of us since you got here. Before you came to us, there were a lot of things I didn't even know existed." Those sparkling, amethyst eyes shifted, turning off to the far side of the room, contemplating. "I have to wonder how much was already there that I simply didn't know about, and how much might have… I don't know, come along with you when you were brought here. Luna and Prin- err, Celestia, told us that when you were taken from your world, the Veil of Magic there shifted and changed things to account for your absence. It's possible the same thing happened when you appeared here. Our Veil might have shifted as well, though whether to accommodate you, or perhaps simply adapting to the lingering traces of Earth's Veil, or maybe both, I don't know. And there's no way to know how much may have changed on Mythis because of it." I couldn't help but admire how Twilight continued to keep her mind active, even when she was basking in the afterglow of a wonderful evening.
As sometimes happened in such situations, I couldn't think of anything I could say to my wonderfully intelligent marefriend. So instead, I simply leaned down, and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. This was partly born of genuine affection, and partly of a desire to stall for time in order to think. "I don't know anything about any of that, Twilight. And I honestly can't say I care much. I'm here, and I have a whole herd of beautiful mares who I love with every fiber of my being. To me, this new life of mine is all that matters, and all of you are what's important to me. Anything from my past life isn't important anymore, and anything in our future is just something we'll have to deal with as it comes… together." As I spoke, the backs of my fingers gently brushed against Twilight's cheek in a tender gesture of love.
My words earned me a soft smile from Twilight, a smile that caused her eyes to sparkle with affection. "You're such a sweetheart." She replied, then leaned up and kissed my cheek. "One minute, you're doing all sorts of naughty things to me, and in the next moment, you share the most beautiful sentiments." A quiet, musical giggle escaped her lips. "You really are an enigma, Blake Marshall. But for once in my life, I'm in no hurry to solve the mystery." As she spoke, I noticed the collar around her neck changing, though not from anything I had consciously thought.
The red, faux-leather of the band shifted into a pale, blue silk that reminded me of the little motes of energy that swirled through the golden aura of my magic. "We have a lifetime for you to unravel this enigma, Twilight Sparkle." By this time, all of my marefriends knew I intended to propose to them, and that it was little more than a formality at this point, given how strong the bonds of the herd had grown and linked us to one another. "And even if you never learn all of it, I will still cherish every minute we spend together. I love you, Twilight Sparkle, so very much."
My warm, heartfelt words brought a different kind of smile to that lovely face, and I could tell Twilight was holding back tears, though they were clearly happy tears. "I love you too, Blake Marshall." She snuggled against my chest as that sentiment hung in the air, and I felt the scar adorning my chest dampen slightly. "And… I know we talked about this on the train ride, but I'm sorry I didn't trust you when you really needed me to. Back when we… when I mistakenly thought you were dangerous to us. I should have known better." I felt her hug me a little more tightly. "I should have known better, and I didn't, and you suffered because I panicked and I wasn't thinking like I should have been. I know you've forgiven all of us, including me, but a mistake like that isn't so easy for me to forgive myself for."
I knew Twilight was just venting, so as she spoke, I held her close to me, and began to gently run my fingers through her mane, a gesture that I found out some time ago calmed her down very nicely. When she finished, I simply allowed the conversation to lapse into a comfortable silence, using my body language rather than my words to offer comfort. My efforts paid off, as before long, Twilight was peacefully sleeping, cuddled against me in a way I couldn't help but find adorable.
The next morning, Twilight and I awoke to find the room around us back to normal, with even the collar that had once graced her lovely, lavender neck having vanished without a trace. After spending a short time cuddling and simply enjoying the peace of the morning, Twilight and I decided it was time to take our leave of the strange, enchanted room, and find the others, hopefully before they started to worry about us. That was, after a quick wash up to relieve ourselves of the 'aromas' of the previous evening, as well as the unusual level of dishevelment it brought.
To my amusement, and Twilight's chagrin, it became quickly apparent that the previous night's 'activities' had left her with a distinct inability to walk normally. Fortunately a mild illusion spell on her part hid the remaining patches of red from where I had given that lovely rear a good spanking, and a little practice had her able to hide her strange gait decently well. I never would have guessed the studious mare to be a little pain slut, at least when it came to things like spankings, but she definitely enjoyed those marks, even if they had her walking funny.
To our good fortune, it seemed all of the members of my loving herd, save for Celestia, were still peacefully sleeping in our room, including my lovely Luna. I smiled warmly at the sight of all of them cuddled together, sleeping peacefully in the extra large bed Celestia had ordered for the room that was to be my permanent quarters within the palace. The magic bringing us closer together was strange, but it didn't seem to pose any harm, and the denizens of this world seemed to accept it readily enough, so I too did my best not to put much thought into the implications of it all. All I knew about the odd magic was that it only influenced emotions that already dwelled within a pony, or person in this case, it didn't add anything that wasn't already there or try to force them to feel a certain way. And to me, that was good enough.
Not wanting to disturb the group of pleasantly slumbering mares just yet, I knelt down and whispered into Twilight's ear. "Why don't you wake them up in a bit?" When my warm breath caressed Twilight's ear, it flicked cutely and she let out a soft giggle. "I want to see if Celestia is awake and ask her about something. Hopefully I won't be gone for very long." Loving, violet eyes turned up to look at me, and a single nod, coupled with a warm smile answered my question.
Seeing an opportunity I had no intention of passing up, I leaned in and kissed Twilight lovingly on the lips, then slipped quietly out of the room, and back into the hallway, seeking the room I knew to be Celestia's bedchambers. Knowing her, and given that the sun was only just beginning to rise, it was a safe bet the Princess of said Sun was still there, having only recently arisen herself.
The trek to Celestia's rooms was a short one, and I was glad for that, because I wanted to speak with her before I lost my nerve. "Hey Tia? Are you in there?" I called out softly as I gave the sturdy door to the room an equally gentle knock.
The reply was immediate, as the door was bathed in the soft, golden glow of Celestia's aura, and swung open to reveal the mare herself, sitting at a relatively small table, a cup of tea and an open book perched in front of her. "Good Morning, Knight Defender." The beautiful mare greeted in a tone that was far more warm and affectionate than the title and greeting she had used would warrant. "What brings you to my chambers so early this day?" There was a mischievous twinkle in the mare's pastel, magenta eye as she spoke, and I could tell there would be teasing to follow if I didn't get to the point quickly. Not that I minded her teasing.
Deciding to get this over with, I took a deep breath, and moved to kneel on the floor across from the solar Diarch, effectively sitting across the small table from her as I heard the door close with a quiet 'click'. "Celestia, there's something I want to discuss with you. I… followed you last night, and I heard at least part of what you and Luna talked about." If my lover was at all surprised by this revelation, it didn't show in the slightest.
With a faint nod, Celestia took a sip of her tea, her demeanor calm and sage-like. "I knew you would, dear Blake. In fact, I counted on it. I gave my sister the advice she needed to hear, and simultaneously the advice you wanted to hear." Her admission took me by surprise, though I wasn't given long to consider the implications, as my train of thought was derailed by that melodic giggle of hers. "It was inevitable that you would follow me to the meeting with my sister. After all, we are both a part of your herd, and it is clear for all to see that you care deeply for all those close to you, we lucky few in particular. So it's only natural you would wish to check on us to ensure all was well." It wasn't lost on me that Celestia had referenced her involvement in the herd, which told me she trusted this room to be free of eavesdroppers.
There was an odd sense of relief in knowing Celestia trusted me enough to do something like she had, while at the same time it was also confusing and a little frustrating to know I was so predictable. "I… see." I remarked after a long moment, not really sure what else to say. "So, does that mean Lulu is going to come find me, or should I go and talk with her instead?"
A warm smile spread across Celestia's beautiful face as she sipped the last of her tea. "You will have time for that, in earnest. For now though, I believe the upcoming ceremony will be at the forefront of my sister's thoughts." My expression must have told the Princess of the Sun even more that I suspected it would, as she nodded lightly. "I understand; somber events such as this one have never been a strong suit for you, and while you wish to attend for your own reasons as well as for us, you are also unsettled by the prospect."
It was honestly a little shocking just how close to home Tia was hitting with all of this, and it was hard to deny that it shook me. "I-I um…" I began, uncertainly. "Am I really that easy to read?" I asked, curious instead of incredulous. I couldn't be upset at Celestia for having figured me out, after all.
My nerves were soothed somewhat by the musical giggle that escaped from behind the dainty teacup levitated in front of Celestia's regal face by golden magic. "I have had a long time to learn how to read various beings, Blake Marshall. You are different from any I have yet encountered, but that doesn't mean I can't figure you out." I was surprised yet again when the mighty Alicorn mare leaned forward and those soft, tea-flavored lips pressed against my own in a tender kiss. "Besides, I have had far more time than the months you have been with us to observe you and learn your temperament. I needed to know I could trust you before we brought you here, after all." Another, equally soft kiss followed the first, and had me smile against those delightful lips.
Surprisingly enough, her explanation relaxed me, and I let out a soft sigh as those warm lips once again left my own. "Thanks Tia, knowing you trust me even after all the things I've done really means a lot to me." I stood then, and stepped around the small table, Wrapping my arms around her in a grateful hug. "And you mean a lot to me, too." My words were a soft whisper into the Princess of the Sun's ear, and I heard a soft intake of breath as they reached the lovely Princess.
The teacup clattered quietly back down onto its small saucer as Celestia set it down clumsily, leaning gently into my embrace. While I couldn't see her face from my position partially to her side, I could tell the Princess was smiling. "The feeling is very much mutual, my dear." There was a brief pause as I listened to the slow, deliberate intake of air through Celesita's nostrils. "I hoped for a long time to find a stallion such as you, though I worried what might happen if I ever did. It is not easy for royalty to find a worthy consort, especially not in this day and age, when ponies such as my despicable, ex-nephew Blueblood have become increasingly common among the nobility. I worried that my knight in shining armor might turn out to be something far less… noble."
It still pained me to know that ponies like Blueblood existed in such a seemingly idyllic world, but I knew there was no such thing as a perfect society, and so there were bound to be such creatures. The mere mention of his name still caused the sword-scar he had given me to tingle with a faint sensation of aching that ran through my lower abdomen, along the same track the blade had pierced through me. "I understand how you feel, Celestia." I murmured softly. "And I truly hope I don't disappoint you." Though our relationship was relatively young, I had known Celestia for the better part of a year at this point, and it was as easy to love her as it was any of the others.
The mare craned her head to look me in the eye, and smiled one of those radiant smiles of hers. "And I truly believe you won't, my dear." She replied in a soft, loving voice. "Now, I believe it's time for you to seek out my sister. The ceremony will begin in a few hours, and I think it would benefit you both if she were the one to explain exactly what will happen." As she spoke, the lovely mare gently pulled away from me, and began to shoo me toward the door with a few, gentle nudges of her soft wing.
The affectionate coaxing made me chuckle softly and I shifted to head toward the door. "Alright, alright. I'm going." I remarked, then stopped and leaned in to give the alabaster mare another loving kiss on her tender lips. "But I'll see you at the ceremony later, lover~" I felt my insides warm up pleasantly as Celestia gave me that warm smile of hers, that genuine, positively glowing smile that was so much more than the schooled, patient one she wore in public could ever be.
With that, I left the Solar Diarch to finish her tea in peace, lest I give in to that loving expression and remain with her until it was time for the ceremony to begin. My search for Luna was a short one, as I knew her to be back in my own room, sleeping peacefully with the others, though by now I fully expected them all to be waking up and preparing for the day, especially if Twilight had woken them as I had asked her to do. As I had expected, the Princess of the Night was just waking up when I entered our shared room, though she was the first to do so, by the looks of it.
Those lovely, loving eyes of hers met mine, and a soft smile spread across Luna's beautiful face. "Good morning, my love." She said softly, so as not to wake the others.
