A/N: Hi, everyone. Yes, I'm alive. Before you get on my case for disappearing for a year and not updating any of the books, let me explain. It had been a long year, like seriously long. I went through a lot, so much happened (and I'm not only talking about the pandemic, although that played a huge factor too). I couldn't find inspiration to write and publish and when I did have the inspiration, I didn't have time. Moreover, I got hooked to the STH franchise ever since I saw the movie so my mind has been there too, which simply means that TMNT isn't the only fandom I'm in! :D Doesn't mean I'm leaving that though, I love TMNT too. Anyway, sorry for disappearing on you all and I hope you enjoy this silly little drabble.

The door of the house slammed open, jolting Tails as he was coming out of the kitchen, the fox letting out a startled yelp. In the doorway stood Shadow, dripping from head to toe with muddy water and some leaves stuck to his fur, looking like he had taken a dip in the swamp. Tails could only stare with his mouth agape as the hedgehog shook his left arm, thankfully outside the house, to rid of the extra mud, grumbling something under his breath and a fierce scowl in place.

"S-Shadow? What happened to you?"

The Ultimate Lifeform didn't respond immediately, instead turning his attention on him, the young kit flinching back at the wild look in Shadow's eyes.

"Explain to me," he started, taking a step inside, voice increasing in volume, "how that idiot got his hands on coffee! And what gave him the insane idea of drinking it?!"

Before Tails could even think up a response to that, another hedgehog ran inside, panting hard as he leaned forward with hands on his knees, silver fur ruffled and bird feathers stuck in the quills.

"Shadow... help..." he said between pants, struggling to catch his breath. Then he looked up, eyes filled with panic. "He's all over the place!"

The familiar laughter that came from outside just a second later, sounding slightly crazy and waaay more high on adrenaline than usual, made everyone's eyes widen in dread.
