Trouble at home
Skye was with her home and she could tell right away that something was wrong.
Skye: mom are you okay?
Kylie: fine honey
Kylie was feeding her 8 month old daughter,
Skye: mom talk to me
Kylie: its nothing honey I promise, just Brian is always working, when I had Aurora I never expected to be raising yet another child alone that is all
Skye: ugh I am sorry mom, I don't understand I thought things with Brian were good?
Kylie: they are most days, but like I said he is working a lot, being Sheriff is hard
Skye: this bugs me
Kylie: it shouldn't, you have my grandson to worry about and are you doing anything about work?
Skye: I applied a bunch of places, but no one want a rookie female pilot
Kylie: that is not true and I am sure you are an amazing pilot, it just takes time
Skye: I know mom are you sure you are good I am worried
Kylie: I am fine love, I need to get your sister down for a nap
Skye sighed as her mom went upstairs something was definitely bothering her mom and she had a feeling it wasn't just Brian.
Skye texted Chase:
Skye: can you ask Brian if everything is okay at home? My mom seems upset
Chase: sure but um that is not exactly casual conversation
Skye: just do it
Chase: yes ma'am
A few minutes later Kylie was back, and she as hugging Kylo,
Skye: mom
Kylie: its nothing
Skye: I think you're lying to me
Kylie: I just when I married him things were different, he has changed so much
Skye: is he hurting you?
Kylie: what god no, he is just not as romantic, I know I am being silly
Skye: not at all, mom talk to him please, don't shut yourself off
Kylie: he is never here to talk too!
Skye: I am so sorry mom, Chase is talking to him
Kylie: no please don't get yourself involved this is between me and him, I just I am being stupid
Skye: you aren't mom and I feel like its more
Kylie: I saw your father the other day
Skye: ugh
Kylie: I am not sure, seeing him with another woman who is pregnant sort of just, I don't know it bothered me
Skye: it bothers me too seeing him but like mom we don't need him we never did
Kylie: I know but he missed out on your life and he is missing out on his
Skye: I do not want him anywhere near Kylo!
Kylie: and that there is on me, I should have pushed you to get to know your father
Skye: I tried that remember and he pushed me away
Kylie: why do men suck?
Skye: well most men do,
Kylie: right how are things going with Chase?
Skye: he is incredible and I think being a wolf heightens all of that, mom like I am so in love with him
Kylie: I love that honestly, your parents will be together forever little buddy
Skye: yes a long long time
Skye hung out with her mom most of the day, and even played with her sister.
Meanwhile Chase never did get anything out of the sheriff he didn't think that he would. He also didn't want to push it.
Brian: why are you interested in my love life?
Chase: oh um no reason, it is just Skye you know
Brian: right because my wife is complaining to her daughter
Chase: does she have a reason to complain?
Brian: I haven't been the best husband lately, but I am not talking to you about this
Chase: sorry sir
Brian walked away from him and Chase sighed he knew he didn't get anything but he hoped it made him at least think a bit more.
Chase finally had the results from the DNA test, he sighed things for Zuma were about to change.
Kelly: so?
Chase: so you are related
Kelly: DAMMIT!
Chase: I thought it would be a good thing?
Kelly: no its is not now I can't date him as he is my half brother
Chase: no offense but you were never going to date him
Kelly: ugh this changes everything! What about Maria?
Chase: well I need her DNA
Kelly: I will get it just wait here
Chase had no choice he tried calling Zuma but then remembered he was at work, he would go by there later.
Everest was struggling too, she felt like her life was falling apart, she missed her brother and she didn't want to bother him.
Lizzie: Everest are you okay?
Everest: its good Lizzie
Lizzie: are you and Marshall okay?
Everest: yeah this is not about him, its just hard not being with my brother. I know he could care less about me I miss him
Lizzie: I am sure he misses you too
Everest: Chase is complicated
Lizzie: so is Marshall
Everest: I guess it is all men than
Lizzie: yes, Eve can I ask you something?
Everest: of course Lizzie
Lizzie: Do you think Kol will leave me?
Everest: I don't know I can't answer that, but seeing the way Kol looks at you and is always around I don't think he will
Lizzie: I just feel like this whole Maria thing is getting out of hand
Everest: who is she again?
Lizzie: the most popular girl in school, she wants Kol and I hate it like he is mine but I just feel like she will win one day
Everest: oh honey she won't, if Kol is anything like Zuma he won't you are beautiful Lizzie and Kol knows that
Lizzie: thanks but like why is this so complicated
Everest: I don't know love triangles are hard, and I just feel like you should stay strong hang onto your man
Lizzie: I am trying too
Everest: good
They talked for a little bit longer,
Kelly made it back to Chase and she had some of her sisters, DNA and Chase took it and did the same thing.
Kelly: well?
Chase: give me a minutes Jeeze
Kelly: I need to know
Chase: you need to back the hell off
Kelly: sorry
A few minutes later,
Chase: she is not related
Kelly: ugh but I am are you sure?
Chase: yes you are half siblings
Kelly: I knew there was a reason my dad hated me
Chase: I am sorry but does this mean you will leave Zuma alone?
Kelly: no but I will stop trying to date him, I would like to he in his life though
Chase: well let me talk to him first okay, this changes a lot
Kelly: fine I will see him tomorrow, ugh this is so annoying
Kelly left and Chase headed over to Ahri, he knew she was curious as hell,
Ahri: oh so what did you find out?
Chase: well Kelly is his half sister
Ahri: shut up!
Chase: nope the results are clear as day
Ahri: oh man, I wonder how he is going to take that
Chase: probably the same way that she did, she is not happy but she said she would back off a bit
Ahri: well if she continued to try and date him that would just be gross
Chase: would you be okay with her being in his life
Ahri: if Zuma is okay with it then so am I
Kol made it home from school,
Kol: what did you figure out?
Ahri: Kelly is your half sister
Kol: excuse me?
Chase: its true, your dad was her dad too
Kol: oh my god! What about Maria?
Chase: she is not related too you
Kol: shit
Chase: you were hoping she was?
Kol: sort of I mean then she might back off
Chase: how do you feel about a sister?
Kol: well I am not sure, I don't really like her or her sister so that just makes it awkward
Ahri: yeah but how do you feel about it
Kol: wait does that mean my dad cheated on my mom?
Chase: no Kelly is older than Zuma so he probably met your mom after
Kol: that is good but do you think he knew?
Chase: I don't know
Kol: ugh where is Zuma?
Ahri: still at work
Kol: UGH!
Kol ran upstairs and slammed his door,
Chase: well his reaction was what I expected
Ahri: Zuma's will most likely be the same
Chase: well good luck and here is the results just in case he asks
Ahri: thanks Chase
Chase: no problem
Chase left he hoped that Zuma was able to handle this things with his friends keep getting more and more complicated.
Meanwhile Rocky was talking to Charlie,
Rocky: I think I want to talk to her more
Charlie: like you want to get to know her?
Rocky: I am not sure if I will go that far, but like I need to know more, I feel like there is more to this story
Charlie: yeah I do too but Rocky this involves you more than it does me are you sure?
Rocky: yes I need to know, like it haunts me at night
Charlie: okay
Charlie called her and she agreed to come over before she headed out of town
Charlie: she is coming
Rocky: wait right now?
Charlie: yeah
Leah: you wanted this Rocky
Rocky: yeah but oh man take Cam upstairs please
Leah: sure I will I love you
Rocky: I love you too
A few minutes later, Hannah arrived,
Charlie: sorry I know you were leaving
Hannah: its alright, Rocky I know things with you are the most complicated but I will tell you everything I know
Rocky: okay
Rocky squeaked that out he was scared, something about seeing her brought all the memories back.
Hannah: I am not sure what you remember
Rocky: all of it
Hannah: oh man okay, so you remember seeing me than?
Rocky: yes
Hannah: well I never hurt you, dad used me to keep you calm he thought I would help. I never did understand what he was doing, I was 9 at the time and well I just knew you were my little brother.
Rocky: how did I forget it all?
Hannah: I am going to assume that it was trauma, I can't begin to tell you all that happened Rocky, I only know from my perspective. Dad was complicated, and he wanted to steal your brain. He was an idiot, I mean not like you can bottle up smartness
Rocky: there were a lot of needles and water
Hannah: yes the water he used to scare you and that was cruel, it had no significance but the needles he used to try and take parts of your DNA he wanted to become smarter. The doctor he had was just as dumb. They did end up creating a serum, and he took it almost instantly. I am sure it didn't work, he became so angry and my mom found out and she took me away. I never saw him again, I begged her to let me find you but when we reached out dad said he killed you out of rage. He even sent us this photo
Rocky looked at it, and sighed he remembered that day and he did almost die
Rocky: he beat me so badly that day I did almost die, hell I think I might have passed out for like a week
Hannah: I am so sorry I should have pushed harder, I just really thought you were dead
Rocky: well I never knew you existed
Hannah: you did but your subconscious mind sort of tuned all the bad stuff out
Rocky: I remember most of it, like the beatings but for some reason the whole experiment I still don't remember much.
Hannah: there is nothing good that came out of that Rocky, and honestly its good you don't remember, dad was awful to you even from that day. I for one am glad he is gone and that you my little brother are alive
Rocky: barely
Hannah: are you kidding you are not only alive but you built this!
Rocky: it is just a prototype
Hannah: it is incredible, can I take this and show my mom?
Rocky: sure who is your mom?
Hannah: she is a doctor but I am sure she would be interested in an MRI machine that runs on no electricity
Rocky: it needs to be charged but it is solar powered at can last up to 3 days on a full charge
Hannah: its amazing! There is so much good in you Rocky I see that and Charlie I am so sorry I never knew about you
Charlie: its cool not sure if dad did either, but doesn't even matter
Rocky: Hannah I am sorry I thought you were evil
Hannah: I would have thought the same thing, I do need to head out though my flight leaves soon. I will keep in touch?
Charlie: yeah
Rocky: yes and Hannah thank you
Hannah: sure, and I will let you know what my mom thinks
Rocky: thanks
Hannah hugged them both and left,
Charlie: not so bad right?
Rocky: no and I am okay with her
Leah: that is great
Rocky: were you listening the whole time?
Leah: of course
Rocky laughed he loved Leah more and more everyday and he knew he needed to propose to her soon.
