Today, Anna was helping Mara clean up a space near the hatchery, so Mara could start a garden filled with flowers that grew on Dinotopia. "This is going to be great!" Mara said with a smile, even though she'd asked Kex to help her, Kex in turn had told Mara to seek Anna's help since she has a green thumb when it came to gardening and because he had to clean up a broken vase that he had accidentally smashed with the ball he'd been playing with. "I'm surprised you wanted to create a garden." Anna replied as she brought out the gardening tools that would be used to plant the seeds. "A garden of my own is something I've always wanted to make." Mara responded shyly, the blue-haired girl was still learning to open up to her new sister as she believed that Anna would laugh at her. "It's still a nice idea." Anna said a sweet voice, Anna really meant that since it honestly made her happy that Mara trusted her enough to know why she'd wanted to make a garden in the first place as it meant that Mara could trust her.
The girls reached the spot where they'd begin clearing the weeds out along with the rocks, and while working to make the space cleaner than it was, Mara and Anna talked about what could've made Ogthar hate the island so much that he'd wanted to take over the place. "I mean if power's what made him evil, then we'll need to be careful." Mara said as she pulled some weeds, this made Anna stop and think about the leaders of the other countries and how easily they could become corrupted before turning her thoughts to Mayor Waldo. "What about the mayor? Shouldn't we be worried about him?" Anna asked Mara, the older girl stopped to look at Anna in the eyes. "What do you mean?" Mara asked her, Anna put down the rake then fully looked at Mara. "If people in power can become corrupted by it, then what does that say about Mayor Waldo?" Anna said as she got down on her knees. "Mayor Waldo would never let that power corrupt him." Mara replied as she crossed her arms, Anna shook her head at her sister. "That's where your wrong." Anna responded, what she said shocked Mara as it made her realize that Anna doubted the mayor of Dinotopia. "Please, explain." Mara said to Anna, she knew that both Anna and Kex shared the view differently from those who were born on the island, so Mara wanted to know what Anna was thinking when it came to Mayor Waldo.

At the end of the song, both Anna and Mara understood what the other saw when comes to their views of life, even if it meant that they couldn't fully agree on some things, like how people acted good and bad for reasons only they knew. "Get it now?" Anna asked Mara, her sister nodded before turning on the newly fixed water fountain that they'd discovered while clearing out the weeds that had been hiding it, and had fixed it up as it would be part of the garden. "Maybe the mayor could become corrupted, but let's hope that never happens." Mara replied as she took a sip of water, the girls sat down on the ground as they looked at the new beautiful garden that was now Mara's. "Something other than power caused Ogthar to go mad, and whatever it was, let's hope it's gone." Anna replied as she looked at the blue and pink poppies that swayed in gentle breeze of the wind.
"I hope so as well." Mara said as she looked at the purple and blue roses that had been planted, they both looked at the spots where the seeds had been planted. "Wonder what flowers those will be." Anna said with a spark in her eyes, the spark Mara saw in Anna's eye meant that she's happy and filled with wonder. "Guess we'll find out." Mara responded lightly, just before either of the girls could say anything, their stomachs growled in unison. "Sounds like our gardeners are hungry!" John's voice rang out, Anna and Mara turned to see John, 26 and Kex coming over with a picnic blanket and basket. "Lunch time!" 26 added with a smile, Anna and Mara helped set up the blanket before everyone dug into their lunch as they talked about the garden, and whatever else came to their minds which made them laugh together as a family, for Anna and Kex, life was better than it was before while John 26 and Mara felt that their lives had changed for the better with Anna and Kex in their family now, and forever.
