It was late at night in Waterfall City where Anna and Kex were staying with Zipeau and the Scott's Karl, David and their dad Frank. The three newcomers had been living in the city for a few weeks now, but only David was adjusting to his new environment while Karl and Frank kept wanting to find a way off Dinotopia, which is why Mayor Waldo wanted Anna and Kex to help their fellow newcomers adjust to their new home, so that's why the two were staying in Waterfall City for a few weeks to help the three men out, but during that same day, Karl, David, Anna and Kex had been down at the beach where they saw and heard Le Sage tell some of her crew that they were going to raid the city while everyone was asleep. "Not if we can help it." Anna whispered to the three boys, Kex agreed to help stop the outsiders while Karl and David had debated with them, but the two eventually gave in since they had more experience in dealing with Le Sage and her merry band of dinosaur haters.
Which is what bring us back to midnight, as that was when the outsiders had planned to raid the city for food, clothes, and water along with whatever they found that was interesting. "Ready?" Karl asked Anna, she smirked back at him, the plan was to use music to wake everyone up in order to stop Le Sage "Ready." Anna replied as David and Kex came out of the shadows. "They've just entered the city." David told his brother and new friend, the four then watched as Le Sage and Quint got near their hiding spot before they slipped away undetected by the other outsiders. The four made it to where they left the mini flares that people used to call for help when in danger. "Looking forward to this?" Kex asked Anna, he knew his best friend couldn't wait to give the outsiders her best performance yet. "This is gonna be fun." Anna said as she put her red mask on, it showed her eyes and mouth, but covered the rest of her face as well as matched the black and red shirt and pants that Anna had made last week. "Better get out there." David told her, Karl already hooked up the speaker to Anna's Cd player, then he started up the song that had been selected by Anna to use in the plan. "What's that sound?" Le Sage asked her men, none of them knew where the music was coming from, but they kept their guard up as it got louder and louder before they heard singing as young girl appeared before them.

At the end of the song, Le Sage and her merry band of men were tied up with some rope that Karl and Kex had found. "You little brats!" Le Sage yelled in anger, she was furious that she'd been caught off guard by Anna's antics. "What is going on out here?!" Mayor Waldo called out, Rosemary and Marion followed the head of their family along with Frank and Zipeau. "Look who we caught." Kex said with smirk, the citizens of Waterfall City were shocked to see Le Sage and her men in their home. "Why're you here Le Sage?" Frank asked with a wary tone, he may play poker with Le Sage, but he knew better than to trust her so easily outside of their games. "The outsiders were going to raid the city." Anna told the Mayor, everyone looked at the group in question. "We need food, water and clothes." Quint spoke up, he knew that Le Sage could answer for herself, but their group was in enough trouble. "You thought that stealing from us would be alright?" Rosemary asked in exasperation, Le Sage didn't answer her old friend, but that gave Rosemary her answer anyways.
"Perhaps if you'd ask nicely, then we'd give you what you need." Zipeau suggested to the outsiders, Le Sage made a face of disgust, but no one knew if it was because of the suggestion or if it was because Zipeau talked to the outsiders. "You'd help us out, after we tried to steal?" Le Sage asked in a disbelieving voice, Anna understood where the leader of the outsiders was coming from, but it was the Dinotopian way to help others, no matter what. "It's the right thing to do." Anna replied to Le Sage, black-haired woman looked at the younger girl before realizing who Anna was. "You're the kid that stopped Ogthar." Le Sage stated, Kex moved in front of Anna. "I am. What of it?" Anna asked her, Le Sage stared long and hard at Anna, then cracked a smirk at her. "I like this one." Le Sage responded, Anna gave her a strange look while everyone else shook their heads at Le Sage. "We'll give you what you need, but then you must leave Waterfall City." Mayor Waldo told the outsiders, the group agreed as Karl, David, Marion and Zipeau went to gather up food, water and clothes from the people of the city. "You should swing by our castle, it'd be fun." Le Sage said to Anna, the younger girl didn't know what to make of the offer, but then Frank, Rosemary and Mayor Waldo got in front of her as they talked to Le Sage "Anna better off staying away from you." Rosemary responded, the current matriarch didn't want Anna anywhere near the outsiders since they were the opposites of those who cared for the dinosaurs, as they stole, used weapons and ate meat while the rest of the Dinotopians were peaceful, didn't fight or eat meat.
"I'll think about it." Anna answered politely, she didn't mean that she'd visit the castle of the outsiders for real, but only told Le Sage that she'd consider it. "Perfect." Le Sage replied before she and her men left the city, now that the outsiders had what they needed, it meant that the convoys wouldn't be bothered by them for a little while. "Let's all return home." Mayor Waldo told everyone, the rest of the group agreed before heading back to their respective homes for some much needed sleep all while wondering if Le Sage would try anything else in the near future, but they all knew that the outsiders would always cause trouble for the rest of the island.
New chapter done! I don't the song in this chapter. I also don't own Frank, Karl, David, Rosemary, Le Sage or Quint since they're from the Dinotopia t.v. show.
