Chapter 13: A Scribelle-ed Town
The Pretty Cure team inside Rusty's transportation truck, along with Rusty and Musty, kept driving onto the desert's dirt and sandy road as it slowly but surely reaches to Clay Outpost. Soon the whole truck with the gang inside reached the front entrance of the town. Rusty stops his truck in front of the entrance gate which is made of hard wood and a huge sign above that states the name of the town. Once the truck's engine stopped, Rusty and his dog Musty got out of the tractor and calls out to the team inside the trailer.
"Here we are ladies, and gentleman and fairies, welcome to the one and only, hot dog, rootin tootin Clay Outpost." Rusty shouted to the team.
The Pretty Cure team, Matt, Tint, and the fairies got out of the trailer and meet up with Rusty and Musty who were standing in front of the entrance gate. When they arrived, they see what the town looked liked. There were many mud houses that are stacked onto each other with ladders and stairs to climb. The streets were quiet as it filled with small stands. And they can see a beautiful oasis just on the other side of the town.
"Feels like I'm in Egypt." Matt says to himself as he looked around.
Everything seems okay, except… "Hey, where's everyone?" Megumi asked. The team, including Rusty and Musty, heard what Megumi said and looked around the whole town. The whole place is deserted.
"You're right," Matt responded, "Where did everyone go?"
"Did they move away?" Miki wondered.
"Could this already be a ghost town?" Itsuki questioned.
"No way partner," Rusty responded with his arms crossed, "Clay Outpost is the busiest place that has a lot of people roaming around in the streets. I just don't understand why I don't see one single moving soul the moment we've arrived."
Everyone became curious as they kept looking around the whole town. "Well, why don't we look around?" Matt asked to everyone, "Maybe we can find something. We could encounter a clue that will help us find the next Wonder Color."
"Good idea Matt," Yuri replied as she straightens her glasses, "We may be able to find the residents in this town too." Everyone nodded as they split up into small groups and search the whole place.
Kanade, Hibiki, Miyuki, Nao, and Kurumi, along with the fairies Candy and Syrup, are walking down the alleyways seeing if they come across anything.
"There's nothing here." Kanade reported, "Just empty barrels and boxes in this street."
"Let's try somewhere else," Hibiki suggested, "we're bound to find something in this empty town."
"Right." everyone else said in unison.
Tsubomi, Erika, Nagisa, Honoka, Love, and Miki, with Shypre, Coffret, Mepple, Mipple, and Tarte, headed toward the other side of the town where they encountered the oasis. The oasis has a beautiful big reservoir with a few palm trees around the water, and a few trees growing fruit. They even spotted some tents that were already set up, and vases and pots lying next to the edge of the reservoir. But still the small group of Pretty Cures couldn't find any people around the oasis.
"This is a gorgeous oasis." Tsubomi complemented.
"No doubt," Honoka followed, "The water is very clean, and the plants surrounding it are healthy."
"But still, where are the town's residents?" Nagisa said curiously.
They looked all over the place, but still couldn't find the missing citizens. "Not one soul in sight." Miki commented. "We better try somewhere else."
The gang nodded. "Alright let's— wait, where's Erika?" Tsubomi said as she looks around to find her overexcited friend. The other looked around to find her only to discover not just Erika, but Love is gone as well. Then the gang spotted the two missing girls near the reservoir drinking water.
"Ah! That feels good." Love said as she is full of joy after drinking a big gulp of water.
"You said it." Erika followed and did the same thing.
The gang collapsed in embarrassment.
"…E…Erika…" Tsubomi said in grief.
"Love…" Miki said in embarrassment.
Somewhere in the streets of the outpost, Nozomi, Rin, Mana, Rikka, Saki, Mai, Megumi, Hime, and Matt, along with Sharuru, Raquel, Flappy, Choppy, Coco, Natts, and Ribbon, searched high and low to find any people or signs of life. Rusty and Musty tagged along as well to look for any citizens. Musty uses his nose to track down the scent of the people.
"This is very strange…" said Mai with concern, "we should've seen at least one person in this town, but we haven't."
"I know what you mean, Mai." Rikka responded, "There could at least be a clue of what happened to the people who lived here."
"I feel kind of scared-chopi." Choppy said with little concern. "I wonder if there are any people in this town-chopi?"
"Don't worry-lapi." Flappy says to Choppy with confidence. "I have your back love and you count on me-lapi." Choppy smiled. Saki and Mai giggled at Flappy and Choppy, seeing the two fairies happy and in love.
"It doesn't make any sense," Rusty said as he makes a concern look with his hand on his chin, "No one told me this place is deserted, and if it was, the people would inform me right off the bat." He then makes a stern look, "Hmm, I smell something rotten like rat sleeping in a pile of garbage that hasn't been cleaned in years."
"Don't worry Rusty." Megumi said calming Rusty down, "We'll find those people; they just got to be here somewhere."
Musty the dog kept sniffing around finding the scent of any living being. But after a few seconds of sniffing, Musty looked up ahead. Woof! Woof! Musty barked as he runs up ahead. The gang noticed Musty's actions.
"Look!" Hime shouted, "Musty's got something."
"C'mon, let's go!" Rin commanded. And the team followed Musty.
"Quick!" Mana called, "Sharuru, Raquel, Ribbon, find the others and meet them up with us." Three fly fairies responded with a nod then they flew to find the other team members in the outpost.
The gang followed Musty down the streets, until Musty stopped and points down a street. The gang was closing in on Musty, and Matt is in front of the gang.
When Matt got close to Musty, he calls out to him, "Hey Musty! What did you find?" Just when he got close… SCHLIP! "WAH-OW!" Matt slips into the air and then lands on his back to the ground. The gang got close and sees Matt on the ground.
"Matt-san! Are you okay?" Nozomi asked.
"Yeah I'm fine." Matt responded as he sat up and rubs his head.
"What happened?" Saki asked.
"I don't know. I slipped onto something." Matt opened his eyes and looks. But Matt blinked in surprise when he discovered something on his right shoe he slipped on: a wet goop of aqua paint. "What the…?" Matt still looks at the paint that's on his shoe for more careful inspection. "This looks like… paint, everyone."
"Paint?" Rikka questioned. Matt turned around to the gang and nodded as he shows his shoe that has aqua paint on it. The gang observed and blinked in surprise. "You're right, but what is paint-"
"Well dag-blast it and shoot my hat!" Rusty shouted and interrupted. Everyone heard Rusty and turned towards him. He is looking down the street where Musty is pointing.
"What's wrong Rusty?" Rin asked.
"Take a look for yourselves partners." He pointed in the same direction Musty is pointing.
The girls, the fairies, and Matt looked to see what was down the street the two Western folks were looking. With one look, the gang flinched in fright.
"What the heck!?" Hime said in surprise.
"Oh man…" Rikka said in shock.
"What could've happened here-coco?" Coco said curiously and frightfully.
"I don't know-natsu." Natts replied with little fear.
The gang kept looking down the street until they heard someone calling to them. They looked and see Sharuru, Raquel, and Ribbon, along with the rest of the team coming close to Nozomi and the others.
Once they all arrived, Hibiki speaks up, "Hey, did you find anything?"
"We sure have," Matt replied, "And I think we might know what happened to the people in this town."
"What? What happened?" Ellen asked eagerly.
"You might want to take a look at this." Hime told the team as she pointed to the street they're looking at.
And everyone else did what Hime said, and when they looked down the street, they were surprised as well. The whole street was covered in a mixture of paint, crayon, pencil scratch marks, and colored marker scratches. The walls and the ground were in a gloppy graffiti. The walls have strange pictures and markings everywhere. Not to mention that some of the baskets and boxes in the street were torn down and covered with graffiti as well.
The team continued to walk down the graffiti street as they avoided the paint and other colored marking on the ground. As they passed the street, the team came to an intersection and looked around the area. And everywhere they looked, there were messy graffiti everywhere, on the mud houses, the walls, the stands that the residents sell, and especially the ground. The whole team was really shocked about the messy scene. One of the team members even saw a graffiti rainbow that's inside a red circle with a slash on it.
"Who would do this awful thing here?" Yayoi said in sadness.
"I don't know," Reika responded, "but looks horrible here."
"Yeah…," said Inori as she looked around, "a total mess."
"Man, it's like someone's artwork has gone awry." Tarte noted.
"No doubt about it-kuru." Candy responded as she is next to Tarte.
"I can't believe whoever is responsible for this terrible act." Iona said in little anger.
"I know exactly how you are feeling." Setsuna followed as she is next to Iona.
Komachi, Karen, Alice, and Makoto spotted a stand that supposed to sell fruit, but now it's covered with paint and crayon markings.
"I can't believe of what they done here." Komachi said with little sadness. The rest nodded in understanding and agreement.
Everyone kept looking around the messy area, until Tint and Musty heard something. They raise their hearing to pick up the sound. With a faint sound, they heard, "…no! ...stop!" The two heard the cry of a person. Musty turned toward his master Rusty and the team. WOOF! WOOF! The team and Rusty heard Musty's bark.
"What it is boy?" Rusty called.
Tint shouts to the gang, "We heard someone's cry!" She then pointed in the direction of the sound. "It's coming from down this street!" Musty took off as he runs down the street and heads toward the sound. Tint noticed Musty taking off then she calls out, "C'MON PRETTY CURES!" Then Tint followed Musty.
Mana shouts to her team, "Let's go everyone!" Then she rushed off. The rest of the gang nodded and followed Musty and Tint down the street.
Just on the other side of the street, two groups is having a situation. One group is the citizens of Clay Outpost backing away from the second group. There are men wearing blue overalls and have a working cap on their heads, women with white aprons and straw hats, and living turtles that can walk on two legs, with different color shells and different color working caps. The second group is the Blots with their woman in a pink spaghetti strap dress as their general leader cornering the citizens. And in the middle of the two groups is a young boy, with light brown hair with its pointy bangs sticking out to the left, is in one big shirt with its sleeves reaching to the wrist of his hands, and it stretches to the shin of his legs, and a butterfly fairy just like Tint with yellow wings, has frizzy blonde hair sticking up, and wears an orange bowtie.
The young boy has a pottery vase with fancy sunflower design around it he made by himself as he held tightly while the fairy is close to him, and the woman in the pink dress walks close to him. The woman bends over on the young boy. "Now little kid, hand me that vase you have and let me decorate it." she said evilly with a smirk.
"Never!" the boy shouted. "I made this with all my hard work. I'm not letting you ruin it!"
The woman leader sighed, "I guess we're taking this the hard way." She then snaps her fingers. The blots surrounded the boy in attempt to take away the vase from the boy. The young boy became frightened.
The Pretty Cure team followed Musty as he his leading the way through the streets of Clay Outpost. Then Musty stopped in front of a pile of boxes that's blocking the way. When the team arrived, along with Tint and Rusty, they looked at Musty.
"Boy, what is it?" Rusty asked his trusty companion. Musty sniffed of what's behind the boxes…, and then he growled. GRR! GRR! Rusty twitched his mustache and raised his left eyebrow. "Musty is sensing something bad on the other side of these boxes."
The Pretty Cure looked at the boxes and gave a stern look. "Let's see what it is." Matt said. The team, including Rusty and Musty, got close to the boxes and peaked over to the other side of the boxes. And there they see the Blots, the general leader woman, the young boy, the butterfly fairy, and the citizens of the town.
"Look! It's the Blots!" Nao shouted quietly.
"And the missing residents of Clay Outpost." Rusty followed.
"But who's that woman that with the Blots?" Aguri wondered.
"Hold on," Matt calls to Aguri, "Something's happening." The team, Rusty, and Musty watched from afar and observed the scene.
One of the Blots grabbed a hold of the boy around his stomach, and two more Blots started to tug the vase away from the boy. "No! It's mine! You can't have it!" The boy cried as he held tightly to his vase not letting it go. The boy held on very tightly…, but the vase slipped off from his hands. The two Blots carried the stolen vase to the general woman as the boy tries to break free from the Blot it is holding to the boy. "NO! Let me go! That's mine!" he cried as he tries to break free.
The two Blots gave the vase to the general woman as she delighted to have the vase in her hands. "Ah! What a beauty." she said gleefully, in an evil manner. "Too bad that I have to ruin it." Then the general woman snaps her fingers, and then the Blots brought her a suitcase. The goopy minions opened her case as it is filled with art utensils, crayons, and paint tubes. The woman took out her round point paintbrush and two paint tubes as prepares to do something on the boy's vase. The Pretty Cure team kept watching the scene. "Uh, this sunflower is so lame." she said in disgust. "What should I do with this design?" the woman thinks…, and then comes with a thought. "I know…" Then… she started to scribble all over on the boy's vase.
"NO!" The boy cried while being held tightly by the Blot. "STOP! You're ruining it!"
The woman kept scribbling the vase, until she was done. "Ah, perfect!" the woman said with joy. The Blot let go of the boy as the woman with the vase came close to the boy. He looked as the general woman gave the vase back to him. The boy looked at his hard worked vase and became shocked. All the sunflowers he decorated on his vase had funny faces and horrible writing on the sunflowers saying: I'm a dumb plant, I'm a no good flower, I wilt easily. The boy cried with such sadness. His artwork is ruined. "Aww, what's the matter?" the woman in a sarcastic sorrow, "I thought it looks great… for miserable kid like you!" She laughed evilly. The Pretty Cure team became shocked.
The yellow butterfly fairy became enraged as he dashes to the general woman. He was trying to slap on her face, but… Yoink! Something grabbed the fairy. He turned and sees the Blot holding onto his wings. The fairy is surprised as he tries to escape, but the Blot held so tight onto the butterfly fairy that it was no use. The woman noticed the butterfly and smirks evilly at him as the butterfly fairy sees her. "Aw… were you trying to stop me, you little fly." she said evilly.
"You… You… creep!" the butterfly fairy said as it tries to land a punch on the general woman. "Let me go, and fight me! And you let me and these people go, or else."
Tint noticed the yellow butterfly fairy from while she is hiding in the pile of boxes. "Hey… that's…." she said to herself.
"Not on your life you little pest." the woman replied evilly, "I'm not leaving until I get the Wonder Color of this desert."
"We'll never tell you!" the boy cried while holding onto his ruined vase.
"Oh you will tell, or you and your people will suffer the consequences, just like I did to this town."
The butterfly fairy became even more enraged. "Why!?" the fairy shouted, "Why are you doing this!? Why are you ruining our lives!?"
The woman twitched when she heard what the fairy said. She then makes a stern look, "I'll tell you why. It's because all of you people here in Spectrum Land ruined my life! I tried to be perfect just like all of you, but since I couldn't be good as you are and you laughed at me, I'm going to make sure that all of your lives will be ruined, just like mine." She snapped her fingers telling the Blots to toss the fairy and the boy back to the scared citizens. Once the fairy and the boy formed with the group, the Blots surrounded the citizens and the woman held out her art utensils toward the people as weapons. "Now, you will tell me where the Wonder Color is, or I'm going to ruin your lives for good."
The citizens of the town were scared, including the boy, but the yellow fairy makes a stern look and responds, "Even if you kill us, we'll never tell you the location of the Wonder Color!"
"Then so be it!" The general woman is about to make an attack on the people.
"STOP!" someone shouted. The general woman, the Blots, and the citizens heard the voice as the person rushes to the scene. It is Mana as she stopped in front the woman and facing towards her. "You will not hurt these innocent people, and that's final!" The woman and the blots blinked in surprise.
Then the rest of the Pretty Cure girls came to the scene standing in front of the woman and the Blots. "Mana! Don't go running off and making a rash move like that." Rikka said in embarrassment.
"That's our Mana for you." Alice said with little embarrassment.
"Leave these people alone, or you have to go with us!" Makoto commanded.
Matt, Rusty, Musty, the fairies, and Tint came out from the boxes and stood on the sidelines watching the Pretty Cure girls and Blots.
"Huh!? You're just a bunch of girls." The Blot woman general scoffed. "Why don't you leave us alone and play your dollies."
"Not a chance!" Karen shouted in disagreement.
"Who are you supposed to be?" Kurumi asked in anger. "Some kind of pink catastrophe!?"
"What!? You never heard of me before?" said the general woman in a sarcastic mood, "Well it's no use for not telling. If you girls are eager to know, I am Scribbelle, one of the general leaders of the Blots and a good cohort of King Splat."
"Scribbelle…" some of the Pretty Cure girls said in unison.
"A perfect name for you," Matt said to her in anger, "considering what you did to the town."
"Do you like it?" Scribbelle asked haughtily, "I thought it looks pretty."
"It's horrible!" Yayoi shouted in anger.
"Everything you did to this town is just a huge messy graffiti." Akane followed in anger.
"You're going to pay for what you did to this town." Love scolded.
"And the citizens." Miki followed next.
"And that poor boy's vase!" Inori shouted last.
"Clean up this mess…" Hibiki said first.
"…or else!" Kanade, Ellen, and Ako said in unison as they finished the sentence.
Scribbelle gave a mean look, "You girls sure are stubborn. Get out of the way or I'll make a mess out of you."
"Not on your life!" Hime shouted.
"We'll never let you have your way, and let these people give the information of the Wonder Color of this desert." Yuko shouted.
"You better scram…," Itsuki commanded.
"…Or you'll be sorry you ever mess with us." Yuri finishes the sentence.
The citizens of the town were surprised by these girls. Scribbelle shrugged while having her mean look on her face. "Ugh! You girls are pests!" she complained, "Fine, I guess I have to destroy you first." She then taps her brush on her hand to light up the tip on her brush. Once it's light up, she makes her battle stance. "You asked for it, and this shouldn't be a problem. Besides, you're just a bunch of normal girls."
Mana smirked to Scribbelle. "Who said that we're normal girls?" Mana said to Scribbelle. The general woman became confused, so did the Blots.
"Rusty and Musty, watch this." Matt told to the two as they were on the sidelines with the fairies and Tint next to them. Rusty and Musty listened and did what Matt said.
Sharuru turned into Mana's Cure Lovead and landed in Mana's hand, "Ready everyone!? Transform!" Everyone nodded as they got their transformation items.
"Dual Aurora Wave!"
"Luminous! Shining Stream!"
"Dual Spiritual Power!"
"Pretty Cure! Metamorphose!"
"Skyrose Translate!"
"Change, Pretty Cure! Beat Up!"
"Pretty Cure! Open My Heart!"

"Pretty Cure, Shining Star Symphony!"
All the girls glowed in great brightness again. When the light disappeared, the girls were in their Pretty Cure forms.
"Emissary of light, Cure Black!"
"Emissary of light, Cure White!"
"Shining life, Shiny Luminous!"
"The shining golden flower, Cure Bloom!"
"The radiant silver wing, Cure Egret!"
"The great power of hope, Cure Dream!"
"The red flame of passion, Cure Rouge!"
"The fragrance of bursting lemon, Cure Lemonade!"
"The green earth of tranquility, Cure Mint!"
"The blue spring of intelligence, Cure Aqua!"
"The blue rose is my secret emblem, Milky Rose!"
"The pink heart is the symbol of love! Fresh-picked, Cure Peach!"
"The blue heart is the symbol of hope! Freshly-gathered, Cure Berry!"
"The yellow heart is the symbol of prayers! Freshly-harvested, Cure Pine!"
"The scarlet heart is the proof of happiness! Freshly-ripened, Cure Passion!"
"The flower spreading throughout the Land, Cure Blossom!"
"The flower fluttering in the ocean winds, Cure Marine!"
"The flower bathing in the sunlight, Cure Sunshine!"
"The flower glistening in the light of the moon, Cure Moonlight!"
"Playing the wild tune, Cure Melody!"
"Playing the graceful tune, Cure Rhythm!"
"Playing the soulful tune, Cure Beat!"
"Playing the goddess' tune, Cure Muse!"
"Twinkling, shining, light of the future! Cure Happy!"
"The brilliant sun, hot-blooded power! Cure Sunny!"
"Sparkling, glittering, rock-paper-scissors! Cure Peace!"
"Intense courage, a straight-up bout! Cure March!"
"Snowing, falling and gathering, a noble heart! Cure Beauty!"
"Brimming with love! Cure Heart!"
"The light of wisdom! Cure Diamond!"
"The warmth of the sun! Cure Rosetta!"
"The blade of courage! Cure Sword!"
"The wild card of love! Cure Ace!"
"The big love spreading throughout the world! Cure Lovely!"
"The blue wind dancing in the sky! Cure Princess!"
"The light of life flourishing on the Earth! Cure Honey!"
"The star of hope that glitters in the night sky! Cure Fortune!"
Everyone strike their poses. "Everyone all together. Pretty Cure All Stars!" FLASH! Everyone, except Matt and Tint who smiled, gasped in great surprise.
"Well dag-nab it…" Rusty said in shock. Musty's jaw dropped in shock.
The citizens of the town were immobilized including the boy as they continued to stare at the Pretty Cures. But the yellow butterfly fairy smiled in great happiness. "Wow!" he shouted in excitement, "I can't believe my own eyes! It's the heroes of Spectrum Land, The Pretty Cures!"
Scribbelle continued to stare at the Pretty Cures with her jaw dropped, but she shook out of her mesmerized stare and looks back at the Pretty Cure with a mean look. "Hmph! So you frilly brats are the Pretty Cures we heard so much."
"That's right Scribbelle." Milky Rose replied with her arms crossed, "Got a problem with that?"
"Hmph, well you might be the Pretty Cures, but you're still no match for me and my blotty minions."
"Don't be so sure," Cure Black called out to her, "for you're the one who's going to getting messy this time…, by us."
"We'll see about that." Scribbelle swiftly moves her arm toward the Pretty Cures. "Blots! Attack them!"
"GWOP-PO!" The Blots responded as they rushed in and head to the Pretty Cures to land an attack.
"Everyone! Let's go!" Cure Bloom commanded. The team nodded and rushed into battle.
As the two groups got close, Cure Beat starts her first move. "Time to rock n' roll you out!" She got her Love Guitar Rod as her fairy tone Lary went into the guitar's slot. "Beat Sonic!" she shouted as she strums her guitar making purple music notes appear and turned into arrowhead-like projectiles. Beat strums the guitar again, and then the notes headed toward to Blots as the projectiles exploded the goopy goons on impact. The Blots then burst into ashes. "I rock and rule!" Beat said with joyous success.
A group of Blots is after Shiny Luminous. But she stayed calm as she gave a glare when the Blots got closer to her. Her Heart Baton appeared as she makes her attack. "Luminous! Heartiel Action!" A rainbow beam came out of the baton as it hit the Blots freezing in their tracks. The Blots were confused and immobilized, until…
"Sunshine Flash!" Cure Sunshine sends her light orbs to the frozen Blots and exploded on impact. The Blots burst into ashes. Sunshine appeared next to Luminous with a smile.
"Great work Sunshine." Luminous complemented.
"You too Luminous." Sunshine replied.
The blots kept trying to land a punch on Cure Moonlight, but she moves so quick like a flying hummingbird. As she kept dodging the attacks, one Blot jumped up and tries to land a leap attack on her. Moonlight noticed as she quickly grabs the Blot's arm and swings him all around like spinning top knocking the other blots. When the Blot, that is grabbed by Moonlight, got dizzy, She hold the Blot tight close to her as she chants, "Moonlight Silver Impact" She places her hand on the Blot as her attack explodes and pushes him toward the pile of unconscious Blots knocked out by Moonlight. The Blots crashed on impact making them even dizzier. Moonlight quickly got her Moon Tact and called out her attack. "Pretty Cure, Silver Forte Wave!" she shouted as a huge white flower appeared, and then sends it straight to the Blots. The flower made contact as the blots floated into the air with the flower overlapping behind them. Moonlight spins her Moon Tact as the Blots burst in ashes. Once the attack is done, Moonlight grinned. "Not quite tough for me yet." she said to herself.
Cure Berry and Cure Pine defend themselves as the small group of Blots lands their punches on them. Then two Blots from two different sides rushed in to land an attack on Berry and Pine. When the Blots were close, the two girls jumped out of the way causing the two Blots to collide on impact in pain. Berry and Pine then landed in front of the Blots as they prepared an attack. Berry got her Berry Sword out and Pine got her Pine Flute out.
"Let's do this!" Berry commanded, "Pretty Cure, Espoir Shower Fresh!"
"Right on Berry!" Pine followed, "Pretty Cure, Healing Prayer Fresh!"
The two attacks combined together as they collided to the Blots. The two cures rotated their cure sticks as the Blots exploded into ashes. When the attack is done, the two smiled at each other.
"That takes care of that." Pine commented, "We must be really good."
"Of course," Berry replied, "After all, we are perfect."
As the battle goes on, Matt, Tint, the fairies, and Rusty and Musty cheered them on.
"You're doing great Pretty Cures!" Matt shouted and cheered. "Keep it up!"
"Yah Pretty Cures!" Tint cheered. "Fight on!"
"Way to go-nya!" Hummy shouted.
"Great job Pollun and Luminous-lulu!" Lulun cheered.
"Awesome-mupu!" Moop shouted.
"Yeah, awesome-pupu!" Foop followed.
"YEE-HAW! Git those blotty dogies Purdy Cures!" Rusty shouted and cheered as he slaps his shin. Musty barked in happiness and excitement.
The residents of the town were speechless as they watched the battle, but they smiled in relief and happiness. The young boy with the scribbled vase and the yellow butterfly fairy cheered on to the Pretty Cures.
"Go get them, Pretty Cures!" the boy cheered.
"Fight! Fight! Fight Pretty Cures!" the butterfly fairy shouted.
The battle continues as the Pretty Cures triumphed and defeated many Blots. Soon the large group of Blots became a small group with at least twenty Blots left. The Pretty Cures glared at the remaining Blots as the goopy humanoids shivered in fright and retreated right behind Scribbelle. She looked as the cowardly Blots with a shock, then she glares angrily at the Pretty Cures.
"It seems you Pretty Cures are pretty strong." Scribbelle said with a glare. "But no matter, you frilly brats won't defeat me."
"Bring it on, if you dare." Cure Rhythm commanded.
Scribbelle gritted her teeth. "Alright, take this!" She took out a red paint tube and squirts a large red paint stream to the Pretty Cures as the stream contained flames on them.
Matt flinched and reacted, "Look out! That paint has fire!"
The Pretty Cures heard Matt and blinked. Then the girls jumped out of the way as they missed the fiery paint as it create a small puddle of paint on the ground with flames still burning from the paint. The Pretty Cures were a little bit scared when they see the paint still flaming on the ground.
Cure Sunny looks at Scribbelle with a stern look. "If she wants to fight fire, then I'll fight with fire as well." Sunny said. She charged up her Smile Pact and makes her attack, "Pretty Cure, Sunny Fire!" A fireball is created and Sunny sends it to Scribbelle.
As the fireball heads straight to Scribbelle, she stood there, until she made an evil smirk. She took out her magic marker and taps it to her hand to light the marker's tip. Once the tip is lit, Scribbelle quickly drew a huge paper fan in front of her and the Blots. "Blow Away!" she commanded. Then the paper fan starts to wave as it blows away the fireball created by Sunny. Once the fireball is gone, the paper fan disappeared and Scribbelle evilly smirked.
The Pretty Cures flinched in shock. "Ehhh!?" Sunny shouted in surprise, "What happened to my fireball!?"
"It… It… It disappeared." Cure Rouge said in shock.
"I'll back you up." Cure Fortune called as she performs her attack and grabs her Fortune Tambourine. The rings on the tambourine glowed as Fortune chants her attack. "Pretty Cure, Starlight Ascension!" A yellow beam with purple stars on it came out of the tambourine as it heads to Scribbelle.
Scribbelle quickly reacted as she got her marker and draws a huge shield in front of her. "Block it!" she commanded. The shield tilted upward causing Fortune's beam attack to ricochet to the sky. Once Fortune's attack is gone, the shield disappeared leaving Scribbelle and her Blot minions unharmed.
"What!?" Fortune said in shock. "How's that possible!?" The Pretty Cures were surprised again as well.
"What happened!?" Cure Princess said surprise, "How did she do that!?"
"Ah! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Scribbelle laughed evilly. "I told you Pretty Cures are no match for me." She then sticks out her art utensils out to show to the Pretty Cures. "As long I have these magical art tools, I'm unstoppable!" The Pretty Cures became curious. "You see, whatever I draw in front of me is whatever I wished for. I can draw or scribble on anything I want. These magical art tools were created by an artist magician from Rainbow Castle, and my Blots were kindly and evilly enough to steal these from him and gave these to me as handy weapons. As long these magical art tools are in my hands, I can repel and block any attack you throw at me."
The Pretty Cure gritted their teeth in shock and anger, and Matt, the fairies, Tint, and Rusty and Musty were a little frightened. "This is not good." Matt said in little fright.
"C'mon Pretty Cures," Tint called out, "You can do this!"
The Pretty Cure team looked at each other. "What are we going to do?" Cure Egret questioned and panicked a little.
"Well, we're not giving up." Cure Passion responded.
"Will just have to send all of our attacks, until we tire out Scribbelle." Cure Muse suggested.
"It's worth a shot." Cure Sword agreed. The Pretty Cure turned toward Scribbelle as they prepared their attacks.
"Ah! Wait!" Scribbelle shouted and stopped. The Pretty Cure stopped for a moment after hearing Scribbelle's shout. "Before you make another attack on me…, I have something to show you." She then snapped her fingers. Then a Blot out of the shadows came forth and brought someone with him. The Pretty Cures, Matt, the faires, Tint, and Rusty and Musty see the Blot and someone else walking into the scene. When the Blot is in the light, the other person with the Blot is held captive with a rope tied around his body. It is a dark green turtle about two and half feet high and on two legs, but he has white bushy eyebrows and a long white beard.
The Pretty Cure team became confused. "Who's that?" Cure Blossom wondered.
When Rusty and Musty see this, they were shocked. This got Matt's attention. "Rusty, Musty, what's wrong?" Matt asked.
"No… it can't be…" Rusty said while shocked.
Then the citizens of the town became shocked as well. The Pretty Cures noticed the residents' fright. "No!" the young boy shouted, "Not him!"
The Pretty Cures were still confused, but the yellow butterfly fairy revealed the truth. "NO! Please don't hurt him!" the fairy shouted, "Not our mayor of our town!" Then the Pretty Cures flinched in shock, including Matt, Tint, and the fairies.
Scribbelle then walks to the captive mayor and the Blot. "I'll take it here." She told to the Blot. The goopy humanoid handed the rope tied to the captive mayor and saluted as he the Blot returned to his group. Scribbelle then pulled out an art cutting knife and aims it towards the neck of the turtle mayor. She looks at the Pretty Cures again, "Now then Pretty Cures, and residents of the Clay Outpost, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. One false move Pretty Cures and it's slice and dice for your precious mayor." The Pretty Cures became frightened but mad at the same time.
"No please!" said a male resident, "Don't hurt our beloved mayor."
"We'll give you anything, just don't hurt our mayor!" a female begged and screamed.
"Then tell me where the Wonder Color is, and we'll call it off." Scribbelle offered.
"Anything, but the Wonder Color!" a male turtle called out.
"You will not rule Spectrum Land!" a female turtle screamed.
"Fine!" Scribbelle said in a complaint, "Say bye-bye." She pulls back her cutting knife…
"WAIT! DON'T!" The yellow butterfly called.
Scribbelle stopped and then sighed, "Make up your mind already! I'll give you half a minute to decide. If time's up and no final decision, then your mayor dies." The citizens and the Pretty Cures became even more frightening not knowing what to do.
Rusty and Musty gritted their teeth with anger. "We have to save him." Rusty said, "But how?"
Matt looked at Scribelle and the captive mayor as he paused and thinks for a moment. After a few seconds of thinking, he turns to Rusty. "Rusty, Musty, I have an idea." he said to the two. The two got their attention to Matt. "Follow me you two." Matt led the way as Rusty and Musty followed him.
The clock is ticking as the Pretty Cure team and the citizens struggle their decision. Scribbelled smirks, "Almost time, what's it going to be?" The Pretty Cures and the citizens stared at the mayor and Scribbelle with fright. "Seven, six, five,…" The team and the townspeople started to sweat. "Three, two, one. Made you decision?" Everyone didn't say anything, but stared. "No? Then say good-bye to Mr. Mayor." She pulls her cutting knife back.
"NO!" Everyone cried.
But just when Scribbelle was about to stabbed the turtle mayor…, CRUNCH! "AAAAAHHHHH!" Scribbelle screamed. On her left leg is Musty biting hard. "OW! Let go of me!" Then suddenly, Matt appeared out of the blue and pushed Scribbelle to the ground dropping her knife too. Rusty then appeared grabbing the captive mayor.
"Gotcha Mayor!" Rusty shouted.
"Quick! Retreat!" Matt commanded. And the three did as they headed back to the Pretty Cure's side. The Pretty Cure team and the citizens were happy and delighted by Matt, Rusty, and Musty's daring rescue.
"Way to go Matt!" Cure March shouted.
"Awesome work you guys!" Cure Peach cheered.
And the three made it back safely to the Pretty Cure's side without harm. Rusty put the mayor down on his feet. "You're alright Mayor?" Rusty asked.
"Yes, I am much obliged." the mayor responded with a smile.
The moment of relief has ended when Scribbelle stood up as her left leg is wobbling from Musty's bite. Scribbelle became enraged, "You stupid loathsome pests! That hurt!" She then got out her round point paintbrushes and aims at the Pretty Cure team. "I had enough of this! TIME TO DIE!" She then swiftly swishes her brushes as goopy paint streams came out and sprayed to the team.
"Look out!" Tint shouted. And everyone did as the Matt, the fairies, Tint, the mayor, and Rusty and Musty hid behind some boxes, so did the citizens, and the Pretty Cures jumped, dodged, and avoided the incoming paint attacks.
The paint from Scribbelle's attack splattered everywhere in the area. The Pretty Cures kept dodging as little paint got onto them. Then while Cure Marine is dodging, she slipped onto pool of paint and landed to the ground, when suddenly a splash of paint got on Marine and pushed her back and her body to the ground. Marine tries to get up, the paint became sticky and she can't move. "Wha..!? I'm stuck!" Marine shouted.
"Marine!" Blossom shouted as she went over to help her. But Blossom got hit by a splat of paint and she is hit to the ground and is stuck.
"Blossom! Marine!" Cure Rhythm shouted with Cure Melody next to her. But suddenly… SPLASH! A splat of paint hit both Rhythm and Melody's eyes. "AAAHH!"
"Ah! My eyes! I can't see!" Melody shouted as she tries to rub the paint off.
"Oh no!" Cure Passion noticed, until… Splash! A splat of paint hit Passion and stuck her to a wall.
Soon most of the Pretty Cures are getting splattered by Scribbelle's paint causing them to immobilize and make them blind. "AH! HA! HA! HA! Fear my wrath Pretty Cures!" Scribbelle shouted evilly. "Tell me where the Wonder Color is, or face your doom!"
Matt and Rusty, who are watching the battle from behind the boxes, looked desperate as the two are eager to help. "We got to do something." Matt said to Rusty, "The Pretty Cures need help."
"I know…," Rusty replied, "but how, not with that crazy wild hoof-kicking Scribbelle going out of control."
Matt looked around, high and low, to find something to stop Scribbelle. Then he froze when he spotted a porch of barrels that are high above where Scribbelle is standing. Matt's thinking brain processes, until an idea hit him. "Rusty! Do you have your gun?"
Rusty pulls out his gun, twirls it in circles, and positions it in his hands. "My silver blast cannon is still here." Rusty responded. "Why?"
Matt looks up and points, "Aim and shoot that porch with the barrels. Hurry!" Rusty looks and sees the porch. He then he takes his gun and aims at one of the two wooden supporting poles of the porch. With careful precision, Rusty pulls the trigger… BOOM! A bullet was shot and it knocked off a supporting pole. The porch then toppled as the barrels on it fell off.
Scribbelle continued to spray paint to the Pretty Cures without stopping. "Give up Pretty Cures?" she shouted evilly. The Pretty Cures struggle with their eyes covered in paint and being stuck to the walls and ground. "If not, I'll just…" Just then Scribbelle looked up. "Huh?" There she sees barrels from the porch fall right to her. They came close to her and then…., CRASH! SPLASH! The barrels crashed to the Scribbelle on the ground with water splashing out of the barrels and burying her underneath the rubble of barrels.
"Nice work partner." Rusty complement to Matt, "You shore know how to use that hot dog thinking brain of yours."
"Thanks Rusty, and don't mention it." Matt replied with a smile.
"Nice work Matt." Tint cheered. "You're really clever."
"Great job Matt." Cure Diamond cheered as she has sticky paint all over on her battle dress.
"As smart as ever." Cure Rosetta complemented with dress covered with paint.
Everyone smiled at Matt for his incredible quick thinking skills, until the rumbling sound from the rubble of broken barrels started to move causing everyone to blink and look. Out popped is Scribbelle with her dress in scratches, and she is soaking wet from the water. Scribbelle really became angery. "YOU!" she shouted, "I'm really going to end your life once and for all!" She pulls back on her paintbrushes and then flicks them at the Pretty Cure team, Matt, and Rusty. The whole team covered themselves for protection, but… nothing happened. "Huh?" Scribbelle became confused as she flicks the brushes again for her paint attack to come out. Everyone on the team uncover their protection and watched Scribbelle standing in her attack pose as still nothing happened. Scribbelle became even more confused as she kept flicking her brushes hoping her paint would come out. "What the-!? Why won't my paint come out!?" She looked carefully at her brushes, and all she sees is her paintbrushes that wet from the water. Scribbelle kept waving her brushes to make paint appear again, but no dice. The Blots watched Scribbelle in awkwardness.
The Pretty Cures, with the sticky paint on them, sweat-dropped as they watched Scribbelle kept waving her brushes. "I don't understand." Cure Muse said, "What happened?"
"I'm not sure," Cure White responded, "but the paint from her brushes isn't coming out."
"Why is that?" Cure Ace wondered.
"Don't know." Cure Honey followed, "The barrels fell on her, and she's drenched from the water and her dress is scratched up."
Then Matt blinked of what Honey said. "Drenched… water…" he said to himself. He begins to thinks and looks around until he spots a watering hose that's attached to a water valve on the wall. Then… it hit him. "That's it!" Matt quickly grabbed the hose and turned the water on. He then aims the hose to the Pretty Cures, "Pretty Cures! Heads up!" Then FLUSH! A gush of water came out of the hose and sprayed all over on the Pretty Cures. The Pretty Cures were drenched from the water and wandering what Matt is doing.
"Matthew, what are you doing!?" Cure Berry shouted as she getting drenched from the water.
"Cut it out Matt!" Cure Princess shouted. "You're getting all of us wet!"
After washing the Pretty Cures, Matt turns the hose spraying water away from the Cures and smiles. "That should do it." he said with delight.
"Matthew, what was that for?" Cure Lemonade said in confusion.
Just then Cure Rhythm shouted in surprise. The girls turned to Rhythm when they heard her scream. Rhythm smiled in relief when the paint on her eyes starts to melt away. "Hey, I can see again." she said with a smile. And every Pretty Cure soon found out that all the paint on them has started to melt off. All the Pretty Cures smiled as they are free to move and can see again.
"Hey we can move again." Peace said with great happiness.
"Alright!" Marine shouted in excitement.
Scribbelle saw this and became shocked. "What!? But how!?" she said in shock. "What happened to the paint I sprayed on you?"
"It's simple Scribbelle," Matt replies to her, "When you apply paint onto something, it becomes wet and sticky, and when you let it dry, it becomes hard. But, if paint gets sprayed by water again…"
"It gets wet and washed away!" Tint shouted as she finishes the sentence. "Matt you're a genius!"
Matt nods in agreement to Tint, and then continues to speak, "And Scribbelle, your paintbrushes are wet by the water from those barrels, so your brushes and other art tools you have on can't draw if your art tools are wet."
Scribbelle jolted in fright and widen her eyes, "Oh no…"
"All yours Pretty Cures!" Matt shouted to them.
The Pretty Cures looked back at the frightened Scribbelle with their mischievous look on their faces. Scribbelle jolted some more. "Time for a counterattack." Cure Rouge commanded. The girls nodded in agreement as they rushed toward Scribbelle.
She waved her arms back and forth as she panicked what to do. Then Cure Passion came forth to Scribbelle and kicked her into the air. Scribbelle was in midair and Cures Sunshine, March, Fortune, and Sword surrounded her and attacked her with their punches. Scribbelle screamed in pain of taking a beating of the Pretty Cures. Then Cure Heart came out from above and did a dive kick on Scribbelle sending her back to the ground and BOOM! Scribbelle slowly stood up in pain as she feels wobbly.
"It's our turn to finish her." Cure Bloom said as she and Cure Egret appeared in front of Scribbelle. "Ready Egret?" Egret replied a nod. The two held their hands as the two girls chant their attack.
"Oh, spirits of the earth…"
"Oh, spirits of the sky…"
Their auras glowed around their body as bubbly streams circled around the two cures.
"Now, together with Pretty Cure…"
"…Release the power of miracles!"
"Pretty Cure! Twin Stream…" circle of half yellow and blue liquid appeared. "Splash!" The two push the liquid as a jet stream of yellow and blue water burst out from the ring and heads to Scribbelle.
Scribbelle slowly looked up while still wobbling in pain and sees the jet stream coming to her as she turned her face into fright. The stream made impact on Scribbelle as she is in the stream and the magic powers of Cures Bloom and Egret damage her inside the stream. Then she was pushed back in pain and collided with the small group of Blots.
Bloom and Egret smiled. "We sure got her washed up." said Egret with joy.
"You said it." Bloom replies with a wink.
Scribbelle and her Blots slowly stood up in pain. Her dress is all torn up and her skin had a lot of bruise marks. Scribbelle became enraged again, "AAAHHH! You bratty girls may bested me for now, but next time I when see you Pretty Cures again, I'm going to make sure I ruin and scribble your lives for good!" She then snaps her fingers as a Blot responded and drew a portal heading back to their base. The Blots retreated, but when Scribbelle is about to enter the portal last, she looked back at the Pretty Cures with a warning. "Watch your backs, Pretty Cures." The cures glared at Scribbelle. "Ta-Ta!" She then entered the portal, and it disappeared.
As soon as Scribbelle and the Blots were gone, The Pretty Cures got together and jumped together in victory. "HOORAY!" they all shouted. Matt, Tint, the faires, and Rusty and Musty popped out from hiding and cheered in excitement.
"Yahoo! Way to go Pretty Cures!" Matt shouted.
"Alright!" Tint cheered in victory. The fairies jumped for joy and celebrate the Pretty Cures' victory.
"Yippee Kay Yay!" Rusty shouted as he waved his around in the air. Woof! Aroo! Musty barked and howled in great excitement.
And soon, all the citizens popped out from hiding and cheered to the Pretty Cures for their splendid victory. The citizens of the town got near the Pretty Cures and surround them with great joy and happiness.
"You were fanastic!" said one of the citizens.
"Amazing! Incredible! Marvelous!" said another citizen.
"You're the true heroes of Spectrum Land!" another citizen shouted.
"Indeed, you amazed all of us Pretty Cures." said a voice within the crowd. Approaching the Pretty Cures is the turtle mayor of the town with a cane he has, along with the young boy with his vase and the yellow butterfly fairy. "I don't know how we could ever thank you. You saved Clay Outpost from that graffiti scoundrel Scribbelle."
"Hey, we're just very glad to help all of you." Cure Lovely said with a smile.
"But we couldn't defeat Scribbelle without the help of our great friend, Matthew." Cure Fortune stated.
The Pretty Cures stares at Matt, who is next to Rusty, Musty, and Tint, with a smile. Matt blushed and smiled, "Aw, it was nothing. I only helped out a little, that's all."
"But without your quick thinking skills, we would've been in a terrible pinch." Cure Ace said.
"It's a good thing to have a handy and normal friend backing us up." Cure Black said with a grin.
"Thank you so much for saving our lives, Pretty Cures." the young boy thanked. "I'm Khrisp by the way."
"Nice to meet you Khrisp." Cure Aqua greeted and shook Khrisp's hand.
"That was so awesome Pretty Cures!" The yellow butterfly fairy cheered. "I just couldn't believe that you, the Pretty Cures, are here… in real life!"
"Surprised huh?" Cure Happy said with a grin.
"You bet! Allow me to introduce myself, I'm-"
"TONE!" someone shouted in excitement. He and the Pretty Cures heard the voice, and it is Tint flying towards Tone and hugging him. "Hey Tone, I missed you so much!"
"Tint! Hey it's good to see you again!"
"Tone, so that's your name." said Matt. "It's a perfect name for you since you have bright colors on you."
"Do you two know each other?" Cure Blossom asked.
"Of course," Tint replied, "Tone is my best friend."
"You see, Tint and I are in the same class together in training, but working hard to achieve our goals." said Tone.
The Pretty Cures and Matt blinked. "What do you mean: same class together?" Luminous asked curiously.
Tint swiftly put her paw on tint as she waves her other paw back and forth. "Uh, I'll tell you girls about that later." Tint said with a sweat.
"You didn't tell them about your dream?" Tone said quietly to Tint.
"Don't worry, I'll tell them the truth when the time is right." After hearing what Tint said, Matt became curious.
The turtle mayor smiles at the two fairies then he turns to the Pretty Cures for announcement. "Pretty Cures, thank you again for saving our town and all of us." he said in pleasure, "My name is Mayor Shellby, and I be happy to support you with whatever you desire."
"Why that's very kind of you." Cure Mint said with a grin.
"But first things first," Mayor Shellby turns around and looks at the town that's covered with graffiti. "Our town is in a mess, and we need to clean this up before we can do any favors for you Pretty Cures."
The Pretty Cure team looked at the graffiti all over the place, then they smiled and looked at each other. "No problem," Cure Dream, "We can help clean up this town."
"You will Pretty Cures?"
"Of course," Cure Heart responded, "we're not going to leave a town dirty. Helping others is what I like to do too." Mayor Shellby grinned in gratitude.
"And it's thanks to Matt, we know how to remove Scribbelle's graffiti in this town." Cure Moonlight said to him with a grin.
Matt and Shellby looked at each other as Matt smiled showing his teeth and winked at Shellby. The mayor kept grinning.
Later that day, every citizen in Clay Outpost, the Pretty Cure team, Rusty, and Musty got watering hoses, buckets with soap, long-handle brushes, and wash clothes as they all wash and clean the town and removing the graffiti Scribbelle made. Pretty soon, all the paint, color markings, and graffiti were washed away.
Cure Peace and Cure Lemonade are washing the windows, until they heard Matt singing. Matt his holding a watering hose as he washes down paint on a wall, and Peace and Lemonade got close to Matt to hear what he's singing.
"Cause clean is better than dirty, and dirty is meaner than clean." Matt sang.
"What song is that Matt?" Peace asked.
"Oh Peace, Lemonade, it was from a commercial for video game that I played long ago."
"What game was that?" Lemonade asked.
"I don't remember the title since it's been a while, but it was about an Italian man again, with his water shooting pack cleaning up an island. It was a good game though."
"You sure like to play video games, huh Matt?" Peace said with a grin.
"Of course, back home in America I played a lot with my gaming friends."
"Do you still play video games in Yokohama?" Lemonade asked.
"Sure do still, but since I moved in Japan, I've been playing games by myself. But it's nothing to worry about, I enjoyed them playing even when I'm alone."
The three smiled as they continued to clean up Clay Outpost's graffiti mess. Everyone in the town worked really hard to make the town sparkling and shiny again.
