Chapter 19: Turp Trouble
Out in the middle of the sea, the cargo ship that carries the boxes, the containers, and the Blots, sails smoothly towards its destination. The Blot crew onboard is keeping a close eye on the deck and their cargo hold making sure nothing's wrong and out of the ordinary. While the Blots are only concentrating on getting to their destination in time, the container that consist the Pretty Cure team is still normal and contains no damages. And inside the container, the team waited patiently to for the boat to port at its destination so they can exit the container.
"(Sigh)… I'm bored…" Erika complained a little, "Are we there yet?"
"I don't know Erika," Tsubomi replied in concern as she is sitting next to Erika, "we've been in this container for a while, and I don't know how much further does this boat has to travel."
"Just wait a little longer Erika." Makoto said to her, "I'm sure will be there pretty soon."
Erika puts her hands behind her head, "I hope so."
While everyone is waiting, concerned thoughts were flowing into Bubbles' mind as she starts to make a worried look on her face. Megumi, Hime, and Matt noticed Bubbles' presence and tried to cheer her up.
"Hey Bubbles, you feeling okay?" Megumi asked.
Bubbles heard Megumi, "Hmm…? Oh, yeah…, it's just that… I hope we're not too late to get to our destination. I'm so worried about my friends and people when we arrive."
"You must like your friends and neighbors back at your home." Hime said.
"Oh yes, to tell you the truth, I really do cherish them and take care of them like they are my own family. We play together, talk together, and most of all… we live together in harmony."
"Wow… you must live in playful and happy home Bubbles." Megumi said in awe.
"Yes indeed, but with the Blots roaming around and polluting the ocean, I just hope that none of my friends and people are sick."
Ribbon, who floats next to Megumi, flies next to Bubbles and comforts her. "Don't you worry," Ribbon said, "You have to think positive, no matter what the situation is. I'm sure everyone back at your home in the sea will be just fine-desu wa." Bubbles smiled after hearing Ribbon's positive advice.
Matt, who listened in on Bubbles' conversation, stares carefully at Bubbles for moment and makes a curious look as if something of Bubbles seemed off from her.
WOOOO! Just then, the team heard the loud steam whistle of the cargo ship. And they also noticed the engine sounds are starting to get quieter. This can only mean one thing… "The ship is slowing down." Matt stated, "We must be arriving."
"About time," Akane said as she fans her shirt from the sweat, "this container is starting to get humid."
As the Pretty Cure waited for the container to exit the ship, the cargo ship is approaching a small port that connects to an island. The ship slowly came into the port as it carefully docked on shore. Numerous of Blots on the port waited for the ship to make complete stop. Once the cargo ship is fully parked at its station, the Blots moved out and started to take the containers off the ship. A huge crane on shore started moving as it grabs and picks up the containers one by one onto the beach.
The team still waited inside the container wonder what happens next. They waited, and waited, and waited, until… CLANG! The container jolted and everyone inside felt the impact. As some of the team members figured, the container is being lifted by a huge crane and is carried onto shore. The crane then gently placed the container with the Pretty Cure team inside onto a huge forklift as it contained a Blot operating the transporting machine. Once the container is set, the crane let it go, and the forklift started to move the container towards inland.
The team inside the container noticed that they are still moving.
"Hey, we're moving still." Mana stated.
"It feels like we're being transported further inland, than stopping at the beach." Matt noted.
"Then…, where are we going?" Inori wondered and worried.
"I don't know," Komachi responds, "but we'll find out when we get there."
A few minutes have passed, and the forklift carrying the container arrives at the island's small town. The forklift passes by the slave citizens who are building a base for the Blots. Loudly enough, the construction sounds of the slave citizens' work were able to reach the Pretty Cure team inside the container.
"What's that sound?" Nozomi wondered. Everyone kept listening to the construction sound with some of their ears cupped by their hands.
"It sounds like… construction work." Matt said, "…and it's coming from outside."
When Matt said that, Hibiki, Alice, Yuri, Candy, and Hummy, who are close to the doors of the container, decided to peep through the opening cracks of the doors. When the three girls and the two fairies looked, they were completely shocked and gasped when they see the poor citizens working in slavery and being mistreated by the Blots.
"What is it?" Tsubomi questioned in concern, "What's wrong?"
"All those poor people," Alice said in sorrow, "they're being slaved away by those Blots." This made the rest of the team blinked in surprise.
"Hear this," Yuri calls out to the team, "the Blots are carrying some kind of large spears and they are heavily forcing those citizens to work and build those things without any rest."
"And look at those poor kids," Hibiki said in fright, "instead of playing, they're all hammering those nails and carrying those heavy bags. And they look tired and hungry."
Just then, Hibiki noticed a slave working boy, who's hammering some nails, is carrying a stuff dolphin in his left arm. His dolphin slipped out of his arm, and the kid noticed it. He stops hammering, drops the hammer, and picks up the dolphin toy and hugs it hard. It is a cute moment for Hibiki to see the kid and his toy, but… a Blot appeared next to the kid and tries to swipe the toy away from the kid. The boy reacted and he tries to hold back his dolphin toy not letting the Blot take it away. But since the boy is weak from all the slave work, the Blot successfully took the toy away. The little boy started to cry, "My dolphin! Give it back! WAAA! I want it back!" The Blot only glared at the kid in response and he aims his spear toward the boy. The Blot ordered the poor boy to get back to work, and the boy obeyed as he cried so much wishing for his toy back to him.
Hibiki became stunned and then got mad of what she witnessed. "That's… that's unforgivable!" she shouted.
"I saw it too," Hummy said, "and I couldn't believe what that mean Blot did to that boy-nya."
"This is terrible," Candy said in panic, "we have to do something-kuru."
"Don't worry, we all will." Setsuna speaks up, "We have to first wait for this container to stop moving, then we'll make our move." The three girls and the two fairies who witness the awful scene made troubled looks on their faces to Setsuna, but they nodded her in agreement.
Outside of the container and the forklift carrying it, the Blot operating the forklift stopped in front of another Blot who is wearing a construction helmet. The Blot with the helmet came forth to the forklift operator as he told the driver to place the container with the other containers in the back of the construction site. The driver of the forklift nodded and understood as he drove the forklift to the back of the site. He arrived in a small fenced area where there are a few containers, a few oil drums, a pile of wood, and construction cones. Slowly the driver in the forklift places the container gently inside the fenced area. Once the container is set on the ground, the Blot driver backed away from the container and exited the fenced area. He drove back to the construction site and continues his transportation job.
Inside the container, some of the Pretty Cure girls including Matt place their ears close to the wall to hear any incoming Blots or vehicles that are near the container. But not one sound of any incoming people or vehicles is near the container.
"I think we're in the clear." Rikka noted.
"Alright everyone, let's get out of here." Miyuki commanded. Everyone nodded in agreement as Saki and Akane volunteered to open the doors of the container from the inside. Once they got the doors opened, everyone exited the container as they got a cool ocean breeze blowing in their face.
"Ah…, feel that cool breeze." Hime said in a happy and relaxed mood.
"Whoo, it's just what I needed from that humid container." Akane said as she feels the breeze cooling her.
"So…, where are we everyone?" Yayoi asked.
Matt closed the container's doors as he speaks, "Well, judging by the look of things, I say we're in a small fenced storage area." Matt looks around the fenced area for a bit, then he looks at the site where all the Blots and the slaved citizens are. "But never mind this place. Look over there." Matt pointed toward the construction site, and the Pretty Cure team sees it. "We need to investigate what's going on over there, and why those Blots are slaving the citizens on this isle."
"I understand Matt," Kanade speaks up, "but we can't just walk up there like a sore thumb."
"Right," Karen followed, "is there another way to spy on those Blots?"
"There is a way," Mai answered, and everyone looked at her. Mai turned and pointed toward a hill where it contained trees and thick bushes that's not far from the site. "There's this hill we can climb, and we can oversee the site from that peak with those bushes and trees."
"Great idea Mai," said Rin with a grin, "we can get a good view from up there."
"Uh! More climbing?" Nagisa complained.
"Oh Nagisa, it's only a short climb." Honoka said trying to comfort her best friend.
"Time's running short, let's move." Ako commanded. Everyone nodded in agreement, and they climbed up the hill and hid in trees and bushes.
Meanwhile somewhere in the deep, deep ocean where all the colorful corals and reefs are, multiple schools of fish swam for their lives as the contaminated turpentine is spreading quickly in the sea water. As the turpentine liquid makes contact of a coral or reef, it started to turn white and pale as it got poison by the contaminated oil.
Two fish from afar wearing armor outfits sees the contaminated scenery as they make concerned and frightened looks on their faces.
"This ain't good." said the first fish, "The pollution is spreading faster as we speak. We need to hurry and gather every sea citizen back to the castle before it's too late."
"Right!" said the other fish. But just as the two are about to leave, the second fish makes a concern thought, "(Sigh)… If only she didn't disappear, then maybe she would've known how to stop this polluted madness."
"There's nothing we can do for now. I'm sure she'll be alright. If we tried to find her, we might get caught by that polluted oil and get sick. We just have to wait until our only salvation of hope is here." The first fish swam off after he talks to his buddy.
"Let's hope your right, and that the heroes will help us in time." The second fish then followed the first fish.
Back on land, the Pretty Cure team quietly and carefully sneaks past the trees and bushes until they came upon a hill that overlooks the whole construction site. Once they arrived at the peak of the hill where there are thick bushes on the edge, they slowly lifted their heads from the bushes and cautiously spied on the Blots at their construction site. The team sees that the Blots forcing the slaves to building something big and dastardly, and the team didn't like that feeling.
"Look at all those poor people," Miki said in little sorrow, "working like abused dogs."
"It's horrible," Itsuki said in fright, "I'm like watching some kind of boot camp."
"We really need to save those people for sure." Reika stated.
"I know we want to," Urara followed, "but how can we—"
"Hey!" Suddenly someone shouted and quickly tapped Urara's shoulder causing her to screech in a second. The whole team turned around to see who shouted to Urara and came upon a shocking sight. Standing in front of the Pretty Cure team is a bunch of small elfin creatures wearing oceanic shells all over their body. One is a big and strong elfin creature with a brown mustache who told Urara to shush her after he tapped her shoulder. There were so many of them, then an elfin creature with big glasses and a white beard came forth in front of the team and speaks.
"What are you young ladies, young man, and you unusual creatures doing here?" the elfin creature said in an elderly voice. "This place is dangerous thanks to that scrawny Blot general who ruined our home."
"You're home?" Inori wondered.
"Yes girl," said the elfin with the mustache, "This place is called Brush Isle…, or it was Brush Isle."
"Brush Isle…" Tsubomi spoke.
"Yeah, we live here girl. I'm Mollusk, and this here with the glasses is our elder Conch."
"Please to meet you everyone." Conch introduced, "But you young people better hide before that Blot general spots you and seize you."
"Yeah," Mollusk speaks up, "he's been our biggest problem ever since he arrived and ruined our home."
"Really?" Mana said curiously, "What happened?"
The elder Conch calmly replies, "It was like it happened yesterday…," A memory came into the elder's mind.
"We people of Brush Isle, Humans and Shellians, that's us shell creatures of course, lived peacefully in that small village you saw, and we loved to paint many portraits and paintings on our canvases. We also have a great sage living on our island protecting us from any harm. You would be amazed to see our piece of beautiful work, if you ever had the chance. But horrible luck struck when a huge ship appeared and arrived on shore, and a group of Blots ambushed us from the ship and took over our village. Within minutes, we Shellians managed to make a quick escape, but the humans including our kind sage were captured and were forced to do slave work to build an evil base. We were hopelessly frightened thinking there may be no way to save our home and those poor people."
The memory ended as Conch continues to speak, "We only hoped that the heroes of Spectrum Land would come and help us, and put an end to this tragedy and defeat that disastrous Blot general."
"And soon," Mollusk followed up, "very soon."
"Why would you say that-chopi?" Choppy asked.
"That nasty general is polluting our clean ocean with that awful oil liquid in order to find the Wonder Color."
"You mean turpentine-ropu." Syrup informed.
"Wait…, how did you know that?"
"We already seen the turpentine and what's happening here the moment we entered Blue Ocean." Reika stated.
Bubbles, the kind sea angel, came forth to the Shellians, "Indeed, and these girls are going to help us take back our home and purify the ocean."
"You youngsters?" Conch said in little surprise, "but you're just ordinary girls. What can you do?"
But just as one of the girls could answer…, "AAAHHH!" a scream was heard. The Pretty Cure team and the shellians looked over the edge of the hill and looked at the constructed base. There in their view is the general Blot with the tied up Sage Brushette next to him, a woman in blue overalls kneeling on the ground with a man in blue overalls as well crouching next to her, and a few Blot guards surrounding the man and woman. Although the distance from the team and the Blots is a little bit far away from each other, the Pretty Cure team is able to hear the commotion.
"I… I… I can't… go on…" The woman cried in pain as she held her hand which is sore. Her hand was in pain when she worked so long rubbing and smoothing the wood frames with sandpaper without any rests.
"Sweetie, don't give-up." The man next to the woman comforted her. "We can make it until our shift is over."
"I can't…, I don't have the energy anymore…"
"What's the hold-up!?" the evil Blot general in tannish overalls shouted. "Are you two lying down on the job!?"
The man begged for mercy, "Please sir, my love needs some rest. She has been working for so long and hasn't gotten any good meals lately. Spare her, and let her live on."
"Well too bad mister. According to my rules, anyone who lazes or falls down on the job will be sent to the torture cell for a brutal lesson."
"Please sir! Give her another chance!"
"Sorry mister, she's been slowing down since a few minutes ago. If you don't back away, you're going to be sent to the torture chamber as well."
"No! Please sir! I just got out of there! I don't want any more of your horrible tortures!"
"You devious monster!" Sage Brushette who is still tied up, and a Blot still holding her staff. The general turned around to Brushette to see her angry state. "You never give these people any mercy. Aren't you ashamed of what you are doing to your slaves!?"
"Oh I'm not ashamed miss," the general stated, "I'm teaching you people just how much merciless you gave me back then and sharing everything I once had to you." The general tightens his fist. "It was so horrible for all you people in Spectrum Land to treated me like that, so I'm going to make sure you understand just how miserable I felt back then to you." While Brushette gritted her teeth in anger, the general turned around and sees the man and the woman hugging together. "Now mister, move out of the way, and they'll be no harm done to you."
The man turned angry, "You can't make me! I love her so much that I'm not moving from this spot."
The general sighed, "Fine, I didn't want to this, but…" the general snapped his fingers as two of the Blot guards appeared before the man and grasped away from the woman. The woman makes a horrid face, but then a Blot appeared before her and took her away. The man, carried away by the two Blots, couldn't bear to lose her only love, so he struggles freely by waving his arms back and forth to break free from the Blots, and chases after his woman. He grabbed her and pulled away from the Blot who tried to take the woman to the torture cell. They both hugged together, but the general became upset. "So you like to play tough huh? Blots!" Suddenly more guard Blots appeared and started to separate the couple from each other. The woman is in the grasp of two Blots holding her tightly not for her to escape again, as another two Blots placed the man in front of the Blot general and stretched his arms out to hold him. The man struggles and looks up towards the general. "You really know how to make me very irritating. You leave me no choice." The general then pulled out something from his back, and it is a mechanic liquid spray gun aiming at the man.
From the edge of the hill, the Pretty Cure team and the Shellians kept staring at this scary scene, until Conch and Mollusk jolted.
"Oh no!" Conch shouted.
"What's wrong?" Ellen asked.
"It's that weapon he has." Mollusk stated and pointed. "It shoots out strange green liquid that whenever it makes contact on something or someone, it melts!"
"What!? Are you serious!?" Saki panicked.
"You mean like acid!?" Honoka said in shock.
"You can say that." Conch replied.
The team quickly turned back to the Blot general and the man with their frightened looks. But within a few seconds, some of the girls' faces turned firm.
The Blot general in his tannish overalls aims his spray gun towards the captured man. The young man looks up with a fearful look on his face as the general evilly stares at him.
"NO! Please let him go!" shouted the woman in fright. She tries to break free from the two Blots holding her, but due to her weak state, she couldn't break free.
The Blot general continues to stare at the man, and then he speaks, "Say goodbye…, you useless human." The man looked away in fright as he braces for the impact of the general's gun. The Blot general slowly pulls the trigger, but before he could pull it all the way…
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" That shout made the general, the Blots, the slave citizens, Sage Brushette, the man, and the woman flinch, and causing the general to hold fire. They all turned towards the sound and looked at what they saw in their view. On the edges of the hill stood all of the Pretty Cure girls standing tall and bold as they looked aggressively toward the general. Matt, Tint, Bubbles, the fairies, and the Shellians stood behind the girls and watched them.
Akane quickly flicks her arm and points towards the general. She then speaks, "You general better leave that man alone otherwise you're in trouble."
"That's right!" Hime shouted, "And you're going to pay for putting those entire people do you're dirty work."
The general snickered, "Haaa…, you sure know to talk mighty and bold to a Blot general like me. You girls up there better stay out of our way, or you'll face the consequences."
"Try us." Iona mocked, "Because we're not moving."
"And just who do you think you are torturing those islanders?" Miki commanded.
"Who am I? Who am I?" The general laughed in a mocking manner, "Ma'ams you don't know who you are dealing with. I'm Turp, one of King Splat's generals, and I'm here to conquer this island by any means. And once I do that, I'll use all my turpentine liquid to pollute the ocean in order to find the Wonder Color of this disgusting sea. When the whole ocean is contaminated by my turpentine, only then the Wonder Color's power will glow brightly to make a gaping hole of clear water. And we can use it as an easy tracking device to find the Wonder Color in a snap. And it's all going according to my brilliant plan."
"Do you even realize what you are doing!?" Makoto shouted to Turp.
"You're pollution is making the sea dirty." Rikka followed.
"And not to mention all those poor fish in the ocean will become sick by your dirty actions." Aguri stated in a firm mood.
"Kyu-pi!" Ai agreed with Aguri.
"Hmph! Being dirty is what I am." Turp retorted, "My only mission is to find the Wonder Color of this blasted ocean and return it to King Splat for his conquest of Spectrum Land. Who cares if some fish get sick and they die. I would go for a sashimi right now." But Turp's last insult has made the Pretty Cures girls really steamed.
"H-How… how dare you!" Kanade screamed.
"You're totally UNFORGIVABLE!" Hibiki shouted.
"You left us no choice…, but to fight you." Yuri said in an aggressive mood.
"Prepare for a battle Turp, cuz' you're going down." Kurumi said in a firm mood.
"Bah! Don't make me laugh you little sissies." Turp scoffed, "You're just a bunch of girls. What can you do?"
"He's right young girls." Conch said in concern, "That Blot general shows no mercy, so what can you do?"
Matt leans next to Conch and his shell people and speaks to them, "Watch and you'll be amazed."
"Go for it girls!" Tint cheered.
Soon all the girls picked up their transformation devices and held them in their hands. "Everyone, let's go!" Megumi commanded. The rest of the girls nodded, and then the girls jumped in mid-air and chanted.
"Dual Aurora Wave!"
"Luminous! Shining Stream!"
"Dual Spiritual Power!"
"Pretty Cure! Metamorphose!"
"Skyrose Translate!"
"Change, Pretty Cure! Beat Up!"
"Pretty Cure! Open My Heart!"
"Let's Play! Pretty Cure Modulation!"
"Pretty Cure! Smile Charge!"
"Pretty Cure, Love Link!"
"Pretty Cure, Dress Up!"
"Pretty Cure, Rollin Mirror Change!"
"Pretty Cure, Shining Star Symphony!"
All the girls glowed in great brightness again. When the light disappeared, the girls were in their Pretty Cure forms. They fell straight towards the ground and landed safely, and stood in front of Turp, the Blots, and all the citizens of the island.
"Emissary of light, Cure Black!"
"Emissary of light, Cure White!"
"Shining life, Shiny Luminous!"
"The shining golden flower, Cure Bloom!"
"The radiant silver wing, Cure Egret!"
"The great power of hope, Cure Dream!"
"The red flame of passion, Cure Rouge!"
"The fragrance of bursting lemon, Cure Lemonade!"
"The green earth of tranquility, Cure Mint!"
"The blue spring of intelligence, Cure Aqua!"
"The blue rose is my secret emblem, Milky Rose!"
"The pink heart is the symbol of love! Fresh-picked, Cure Peach!"
"The blue heart is the symbol of hope! Freshly-gathered, Cure Berry!"
"The yellow heart is the symbol of prayers! Freshly-harvested, Cure Pine!"
"The scarlet heart is the proof of happiness! Freshly-ripened, Cure Passion!"
"The flower spreading throughout the Land, Cure Blossom!"
"The flower fluttering in the ocean winds, Cure Marine!"
"The flower bathing in the sunlight, Cure Sunshine!"
"The flower glistening in the light of the moon, Cure Moonlight!"
"Playing the wild tune, Cure Melody!"
"Playing the graceful tune, Cure Rhythm!"
"Playing the soulful tune, Cure Beat!"
"Playing the goddess' tune, Cure Muse!"
"Twinkling, shining, light of the future! Cure Happy!"
"The brilliant sun, hot-blooded power! Cure Sunny!"
"Sparkling, glittering, rock-paper-scissors! Cure Peace!"
"Intense courage, a straight-up bout! Cure March!"
"Snowing, falling and gathering, a noble heart! Cure Beauty!"
"Brimming with love! Cure Heart!"
"The light of wisdom! Cure Diamond!"
"The warmth of the sun! Cure Rosetta!"
"The blade of courage! Cure Sword!"
"The wild card of love! Cure Ace!"
"The big love spreading throughout the world! Cure Lovely!"
"The blue wind dancing in the sky! Cure Princess!"
"The light of life flourishing on the Earth! Cure Honey!"
"The star of hope that glitters in the night sky! Cure Fortune!"
Everyone strikes their poses. "Everyone all together. Pretty Cure All Stars!" FLASH!
Everyone on the island, Turp, the Blots, the slaved citizens, Sage Brushette, the man and woman, Bubbles, and the Shellians were stunned and surprised. Stood in front of their eyes are the legendary heroes of Spectrum Land, the Pretty Cures.
"I… I… I don't believe my eyes…" Bubbles said astonishment, "It's really them."
"Holy waters!" Mollusk shouted in shock.
"Yes Mollusk," Conch followed, "It's them, the Pretty Cures!"
Sage Brushette was speechless, but she then speaks, "Good heavens…, they really do exist. My prognostic tale of Spectrum Land's heroes is true."
After the Pretty Cures introduction, Cure Aqua speaks up first, "So Turp, are willing to surrender, or do we have to teach you a lesson?"
Turp was immobilized for a moment, but he then gain his conscious back and replies, "Hmph, so maybe you're the Pretty Cures here to save these people and put a stop to me, but I'm not going down easily. Unlike what you did to Erass and Scribbelle, I'm not going to be defeated by you pesky girls this time."
"We'll see about that Turp." Cure Passion said in a firm mood as she got into her fighting stance.
"You're just asking for a fight, huh?" Cure Beat said.
The general Turp laughed evilly, "Ah, Ha Ha! Maybe so, but first let's see how good you girls are." He then faces towards his Blot minions and gives them a command, "Blots! Attack!"
GWOP-PO! And most of the Blots charged forth toward the Pretty Cures. The Pretty Cure team is prepared for a battle. "Alright everyone, let's go!" Cure Fortune commanded. The Pretty Cures nodded and charged forth to the Blots and collided. In an instant the Pretty Cures and the Blots begin to battle.
Cure Pine is up against a few Blots who are heading toward her. She remains clam and brings out her Cure Stick, the Pine Flute. "I'll fresh you Blots up!" She said in a calm mood with a grin. She holds her Cure Stick like holding a flute and then blows into the hole as the rainbow colored lights on the stick glowed and her yellow crystal gem glowed brightly. She swirled herself and swings her stick around, and then created a giant yellow glowing diamond in front of her. "Nasty things, nasty things, fly away! Pretty Cure Healing Prayer…" She pulls back her arm with her stick she holds, "Fresh!" and then thrusts her arm and stick toward the diamond sending it toward the Blots. The diamond zooms towards the Blots and entrapping them. Pine circles her stick to give energy to her attack. "HHAAAAAA!" In an instant, the Blots felt so refreshed, and then they burst into ashes. Pine smiles, "Well, that takes care of that."
Cure Black and Cure White are surrounded by a group of Blots, but they are fighting strong as they eliminate the Blots one by one. Black and White each got their own Blot to battle, and while the Blots try to land a punch attack on the two Cures, Black and White evaded the attacks with ease. As soon as the Blots let down their guard, Black and White quickly grabbed their own Blot's arm and prepares to do an overhead throw. "White!" Cure Black shouted to her best partner. White heard her and nodded in a firm look. Then in a flash, Black and White threw their Blot towards each other. The two Blots are zooming towards each other, and when they crashed and collided, the two Blots burst into ashes. Black and White are together again back-to-back as the duo got into their fighting stance.
"Great job White." Black complemented her.
"You too Black." White replied.
Cure Muse battles hard by a bunch of Blots surrounding her. It looked like she was cornered, but she didn't give up. One Blot after another was getting pummeled by Muse. But out of the blue, a Blot leaped into the air and starts to land a punch on Muse. Cure Muse noticed and didn't have enough time to react, but in a flash…
"Beat Barrier!" Cure Beat arrived and backed up Muse in time. Beat made a blue and static barrier appear from her guitar rod, and the blot made contact, got shocked, and was pushed back in pain. Beat smiled at Muse, and she speaks, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, thanks Beat." Cure Muse said in relief. Muse got her confidence back and makes a firm look. "I'll take it from here." Cure Muse pulled out her Cure Module as her Fairy Tone Shiri appeared and goes into the Module's slot. "Shining Melody!" Then orange bubbles appeared around Muse. She then uses her Module as a flute and the bubbles turned into musical notes. "Pretty Cure Sparkling Shower!" Then all the notes zoomed and headed toward every Blot in sight and trapped each Blot inside into a huge bubble. "3/4 Beat! 1,2,3! Finale!" The bubbles exploded causing all the Blots to fling into the air and burst into ashes. "That'll teach ya not to mess a princess like me." Muse said with a grin.
Soon every Pretty Cure has defeated most of the Blots with ease. It was then again only a few Blots are left shaking in fear. The slave citizens cheered in joy, and so did the Shellians on the cliff. Matt, Tint, Bubbles, and the fairies smiled with great happiness to see the Pretty Cure team fighting well. The small group of Blots, in great fear, decided to stop fighting and fled right behind Turp. The Pretty Cures were now facing towards the Blot general with their firm look on their faces. Turp became irked as he stares evilly at the Pretty Cures.
"Grr! You Pretty Cures sure know how to keep going even by a Blot general's warning." Turp said in anger. "But if that's the case, then I have no choice but to eliminate you fancy-pansy brats for good."
"Bring it on!" Cure March commanded, "We're ready to take you down." Turp got madder and he is in his fighting stance.
"I'll make the first move." Cure Rouge called out to the team. She then performs her attack, "Pretty Cure Fire Strike!" She kicked her attack and sends it flying toward Turp. But just Rouge's attack close to him, Turp evilly grins as he quickly pulled out his hose gun, arms it, and pulls the trigger to release lime-green liquid spraying towards Rouge's attack. When both of Rouge's attack and the liquid made contact the liquid started to make the fire attack turn into smear liquid. In a flash, Rouge's attack was turned into smear orange liquid and melting all over on the ground. Rouge gasped, "Eh!? What happened!?"
"Her attack… it melted." Cure Blossom said in shock.
"But… how?" Cure Sunshine said in shock.
Turp laughed evilly, "That's why you should never mess with me. You see this handy machine I made contains special and magical turpentine chemicals, and it is used to dissolve and wipe away anything that it makes contact including your puny attacks. So no matter what you'll throw at me, I can just wash away your attacks in a blink of an eye."
"Pretty Cures! He's right!" Sage Brushette shouted to them. The Pretty Cure team heard the sage, "One false move, you'll be turned into a puddle of smear liquid. Don't let it get on you!"
"Silence you old hag! And now Pretty Cures, have some of my turpentine liquid." Turp pulls the trigger on his spray gun, and turpentine gushed out and heads towards the Pretty Cures.
In a quick reaction, the Pretty Cures dodged the turpentine attack just in time as it missed its mark. But Turp isn't giving up; he keeps shooting towards the Pretty Cures while they are dodging. One of the Pretty Cures hid behind a boulder for protection, but once Turp's attack hit the boulder, it melted and the Pretty Cure fled to safety. Cure Aqua makes her move as she is behind Turp. She launches her Sapphire Arrow toward Turp, but the Blot general saw the attack coming, and he quickly reacted by shooting his turpentine attack toward the icy arrow as it melted to the ground. Turp then shoots at Cure Aqua as a follow-up attack, but she missed the attack in the nick of time.
Everyone on top and on the edge of the hill, the fairies, Matt, Tint, Bubbles, and the Shellians watched closely of the battle as they have concern looks on their faces.
"That weapon of his is very dangerous." Tint stated.
"No doubt," Matt replied, "even the slightest dab, that special turpentine can dissolve and melt anything it touches."
"This is bad-ropu." Syrup said in fright, "How are the Pretty Cures going to fight back like this-ropu?"
"I really don't know," Tarte replied, "but let's hope that they don't get attacked by that chemical liquid."
"C'mon Pretty Cure!" Shypre, Coffret, and Potpourri shouted, "You can do it-desu/deshu!"
While the Pretty Cures are dodging Turp's turpentine attack, they started to feel tired. They wanted to attack back at Turp, but with his special chemical and melting hosing machine, he can melt any attack the Pretty Cures will throw at him.
Cure Marine landed near the rocky wall of the cliff that the bystanders are standing on. But she started to crouch as she growing weary and tired. Turp spotted Marine in exhaustion and aims right at her. "Ha! Say goodbye Bluey!" Turp said in a cheeky and evil manner. He pulls the trigger on his gun, and it spurts the turpentine toward Marine.
Cure Marine reacted in shock when she sees the chemical liquid flying toward her. It looked like it was her fate, but… "Marine!" Cure Blossom shouted as she appeared next to Marine and moved her to avoid the chemical attack in the nick of time.
The acidic turpentine splattered all over on the wall of the cliff. Then the turpentine work it's magic as it melts the rocky wall creating a gaping hole. With the hole on the wall, the cliff became unstable causing to shake and making Matt, the fairies, and a few of the Shellians to lose their balance. Then the open hole started to make cracks as it was breaking apart. Soon the hole on the wall started to crumble, and in no time flat, the wall started to collapse. Matt, the fairies, and a few of the Shellians suddenly started to fall and screamed. They all hit on top of the rubble of the collapsed wall as they scrunched their faces in pain.
But when Matt landed on the rubble in pain, his messenger bag opened up and out popped the Wonder Color Case. The case flew away from Matt's bag and then landed on the ground causing its lid to open, and out popped out the Wonder Colors Green and Yellow. Matt noticed and makes a surprised shock. "No! The Wonder Colors!" The two Wonder Colors landed on the grassy ground as they are far apart from each other.
The Pretty Cures noticed and see the loose colors, but Turp spotted the Wonder Colors as well. "Well lookie here…" Turp said with amused mood, "Those must be the Wonder Colors you've gathered. I'll just take them and deliver them to my royal highness." Then Turp made his move as dashes for the Wonder Colors.
The Pretty Cures saw Turp and didn't want him to take the colors away. "Quick! Get the colors!" Cure Aqua commanded.
Cure March and Peace were close to the Wonder Colors as they quickly dashed with all their might to grab the colors before Turp can get them. Cure March, being a fast runner, manages to pick up the Wonder Color Yellow and cleared out of the way. But Cure Peace and Turp were close to each other as they dashed to the Wonder Color Green. Turp didn't want to lose like the other generals, so he sprints with all his might. But Peace isn't giving up either as she sprints with all her might for the color too. When the two are very close to the Wonder Color Green, Peace and Turp extended their arms out to reach for the color. Then both of them dive for the color orb and each of their hands got close to it, but…,
Peace got the Wonder Color Green first before Turp could as he missed and fell to the ground. Peace held the Wonder Color tight and cleared out of the way to a safe place. Turp lifts his head up in anger.
"You pesky girls are really annoying!" Turp shouted in anger. He then pulls out his hose gun and aims at Peace ready to launch his turpentine attack. "I'm REALLY going to melt you for good! Starting with you Blonde!" Turp quickly pulls the trigger and launches a stream of his magical turpentine toward Cure Peace.
"Peace! Look out!" Cure March shouted to her.
Peace reacted as she quickly dodged the turpentine in a snap. Turp wasn't giving up though as he continually shoots his turpentine to Peace, and the Cure kept dodging the attacks in a close call. Then all of a sudden, Peace was trapped and cornered next to the cliff side's wall. Peace became frightened and doesn't know what to do. Turp aims at the trapped Peace and readies his attack. "Nowhere to run. Say goodbye you little twerp." Turp pulls the trigger and a stream of turpentine heads toward Peace.
"Peace, NO!" Matt shouted in fright.
"Peace!" Cure Happy screamed.
Peace wanted to move away, but she was too frightened to move her legs. The turpentine kept coming in closer to Peace as she shakes in fright even more. Peace then cried. "I don't want to die." she cried, "No! HELP!" The turpentine kept coming in closer as Peace sticks her hand out toward the chemical liquid to block the attack. It looks like Peace is going to be turned into a melting ice cream, and everyone, the other Pretty Cures, the fairies, Matt, and Tint, are scared and shocked, until…
FLASH! While Peace had her eyes closed, the Wonder Color Green started to glow really brightly. The Wonder Color Green then sends all its colorful powers out of its orb form and sending it all into Peace's body. Within seconds, Peace's Pretty Cure outfit all turned green including her hair and eyes. The Pretty Cure team was surprised to see this phenomenon. Still with her eyes closed, Peace then sends her emergency electric attack out from her hand and toward the turpentine stream, only to make a surprising shock to the team that her lightning attack is colored green and has grassy leaves surrounding it.
Peace's small green lightning attack collided with Turp's turpentine attack. But Peace's special lightning attack has managed to dispel the turpentine stream and disintegrated. This made Turp surprised. "What the…!?" he said in shock.
"Do you see that!?" Bloom said in shock.
"Yeah," Egret replied, "but how did she get that power?"
Peace opened up her eyes and looked to see what happened. But she first noticed her appearance on her. Her Pretty Cure form is green, and her hair is all green too. "Eh!? Wh…What happened to me? I'm all green like Cure March."
Turp was still surprised by Peace's attack, but snaps out of it and begins to fight back. "Grr… I don't know what happened, but I'm going to melt you for good this time!" Turp then sends another stream of turpentine toward Peace again.
"Peace! Heads up!" Sunny shouted and warned her.
Peace noticed Turps attack and reacted. She then quickly summons her attack. "Pretty Cure, Green Peace Thunder!" But Peace realized something, "Heh? 'Green Peace Thunder?'" She launches her electric attack only to discover that her attack is green and has a plethora of leaves swirling around the attack. Her lightning attack collided Turp's chemical attack, and Peace's green lightning attack cancels Turp's turpentine stream once again.
"No! How's that possible!?" Turp screamed in shock.
Peace is amazed by her boosted power. "Incredible, but how did I do that?" Peace wondered.
"How did Peace managed to get that kind of power?" Sunny said in amazement and shock at the same time.
"It's the Wonder Color she absorbed!" Tint called out to the team. The Pretty Cure team, including Matt, the fairies, heard Tint and turned toward her. "I don't know how that's possible, but the Wonder Color somehow aided her when Peace pleaded for help. The Wonder Color Green somehow transfused its power into Cure Peace, and she can gain incredible powers from the Wonder Color Green." Everyone on the team became amazed.
Cure March was astounded, and she thought of something, "Amazing…, then I wonder…" She then looks at the Wonder Color Yellow she's holding.
"So you want to play rough on me, ay?" Turp said in anger, "Well I hate people who really get in my way and disobey my orders! I'll just have to turn up my handy machine up a notch and wash you brats with a huge wave." As Turp cranks up his turpentine spray gun…
"Don't count on it!" Turp heard the voice, so did the Pretty Cure team, as he and everyone else turned to Cure March who made the call. She had a firm look on her face, then she looks at the Wonder Color Yellow as she closes eyes and speaks, "Wonder Color…, lend me your strength." With that, the Wonder Color glowed brightly, and it sends its colorful powers into Cure March. Everybody watched in surprise. With the Wonder Color inside of March, her outfit, hair, and eyes all turned yellow. She opened up her eyes as she feels the Wonder Color's power within her. "This power is incredible. Now to attack." Cure March summons her attack. "Pretty Cure, Yellow March Shoot!" A huge yellow glowing orb appeared in front of Cure March and it was covered with a lightning aura. She kicked it towards Turp. March's colorful attack zoomed like a fast lightning bolt. The attack made contact on Turp and…, BRZZZT! Turp got electrocuted. March was amazed by her powered-up attack, "Whoa, that's got some kick."
"Hey, that attack had lightning elements like Peace." Matt stated.
"You're right," Tint followed, "could it be that the Wonder Colors have their own elemental powers?"
Turp was all barbecued up from March's special lightning attack as he slowly stood up. He was still angry as he evilly and furiously stares at the Pretty Cures. "Now you've done it!" he yelled, "You sure wish you never ever want to mess with me again!" Turp pulls out his spray gun and aims at the team. The Pretty Cure team braced themselves for the attack. Turp quickly pulled the trigger, but… Click! Click! Click! nothing happened. Turp became confused. "What the…?" He kept pulling the trigger on his spray gun, but still nothing came out. "What's the matter with this piece of junk? Why won't you squirt!?" Turp then looks at his carrying backpack machine and makes a shocking expression when he discovered his turpentine hose gun machine has been short-circuited by March's special lightning attack. "Oh no! My machine is extra crispy!"
As Turp panicked, Matt speaks…, "Hey…! You know what that means…" he said with a cheeky grin.
"Right Matt!" Milky Rose answered, "Time for a returning fire!"
And all the Pretty Cures cheekily grin at Turp. "Uh oh…" Turp said with a bit of a fright.
All the Pretty Cures dashed and headed towards Turp. He braced himself for the impact, but Cure Passion got up close and punched him sending him flying backwards. Cure Sunshine comes up behind him and kicks Turp really hard sending him flying forward. Turp screamed in pain like never before. Cure Sword came forth in front of Turp as she landed her punches on him and sends him flying into a pile of base materials and collapsed when he and the pile collided. Turp grunted and moaned in pain as he slowly stood up. Turp is on his feet as he sees the Pretty Cure preparing to launch another attack him.
Turp then calls out to the Pretty Cure team, "Wait! I surrender… for now. But be warned, I will be back to find the Wonder Color of this confounded sea. So Pretty Cures, you better watch your backs, cuz I will succeed and please King Splat." He then turns to his Blot men and commands them. "Blots! Retreat!" The Blots nodded in agreement, and they and Turp fled away from the village and out to the beach. One of the Blots, in fear, who held Sage Brushette's staff gave it back to the Pretty Cures politely and ran away with the rest of the group. Soon Turp and his Blot henchmen left the village in a snap and didn't come back. The Pretty Cure team relaxed and caught their breath.
"Alright! We did it!" Cure Peach cheered.
"That takes care of those wastelanders." Cure Rouge stated.
"For now…" Cure Mint followed, "they said they will be back."
"Don't worry, we will be prepared for their return and attack us again." Cure Beauty noted.
Soon the whole group of islanders and the shellians cheered in great happiness as they are finally free from Turp's clutches. The young man and woman who were tortured by Turp walked up to the Pretty Cures with great smiles on their faces.
"Thank you ever so much Pretty Cures." the young man said with pleasure.
"You saved us and our wonderful home from those nasty Blots." the woman said with honesty, "We couldn't thank you enough."
"No problem," Cure Rhythm replied, "We are glad to help."
Everyone, the Pretty Cures, the fairies, Matt, Tint, Bubbles, and the islanders were all happy… "Hey! A little help here please!" Everyone heard as they spotted Sage Brushette all tied up still. Matt volunteered to untie Sage Brushette, and the sage is free from her tied up situation.
Cure Marine who has the sage's staff came forth and brought it to her. "Here's your staff Miss." Marine said and gave it to her. Sage Brushette got her staff back. "We're very glad you are in one pie—" Whack! Sage Brushette hit Marine on the head. "Ow! Hey, what was that for?"
"What took you Pretty Cures so long!?" she yelled at the heroines. "I thought for sure that mustached buffoon Turp would've turned us into melting ice cream if you didn't show up at all." All the Pretty Cures, including the fairies and Matt, are a bit scared of the sage. "We were this close to losing our beloved island home, and have suffered so much pain from that blasted Blot hot-head. I don't know what would've happened to us if you never showed up."
"S-Sorry Miss…," Cure Pine said in little fright, "we didn't mean to make you suffer so much."
"Yeah," Cure Heart followed up, "I'm sorry we got here on the last minute, but everything's all good, right?"
The sage continues to aggressively stare at the Pretty Cures for a moment, but she took a deep breath and relaxed. "Well…, all it matters is that you saved us from that stupid Blot general in the nick of time. So that I must say thank you very much Pretty Cures." Then Sage Brushette smiles to the team, "I'm really glad the heroes of Spectrum Land are here to save our world of color." The Pretty Cure team smiled in relief that the sage isn't mad at them anymore.
Matt kept smiling at the Pretty Cures, until he spotted the Wonder Color Case on the ground and picks it up. He scans and checks to make sure there are no scratch marks or any damages on the case, and everything on the case is all in one piece. "No damages on this case. That's good." he said.
Cure March and Cure Peace were presented to the team as the two examined their body that has the Wonder Color powers within them. Cure Happy, Sunny, and Beauty appeared before the two powered up Cures and observed in awe.
"Peace, March, those are some amazing powers." Happy said in great joy.
"I'm really amazed how the Wonder Colors can give extra power like that." Beauty said.
"I know," March said with a smile, "I feel like I just that drank something that boosted up my energy."
"Yeah, it felt so incredible." Peace commented.
Just then Peace and March's body glowed brightly. Their teammates stepped back a little for the anticipation. Then streams of magical aura came out from Peace and March's body as they form into orbs in front of the two. The magical aura streams were then turned back into the Wonder Colors as Peace and March went back to their normal forms. Peace and March each grabbed a hold of the Wonder Color Green and Yellow.
"Hey, we're back into our normal forms." Peace stated.
"Your right." March followed.
Then Tint, the other Pretty Cures, the fairies, and Matt appeared besides the Smile Pretty Cure. "How very interesting." Tint said. The Pretty Cure listened to Tint. "I would never expect that the Wonder Colors can give extra power to the person who pleads and absorbs it. That must mean there's more to these Wonder Colors than just being magical orbs the whole time."
"So then…, what else does these magical Wonder Colors can do?" Cure Diamond asked.
Tint became curious, "I'm not really sure…, but let's put these Wonder Colors back into the case before they get stolen or lost again."
Matt nods as he brought the case out and opens hatch. Then the Wonder Colors Green and Yellow floated from Peace and March's hands and headed toward the case. Once the magical orbs got close to the case, the orbs dived into the middle hole that has the rainbow spiral and two blank and empty slots around the middle hole each glowed a yellow and green slot. The Wonder Colors the team collected are back in the case safe and secured. Matt closes the case and puts it back into his messenger bag.
"Well, the Wonder Colors are safely secured now." Sage Brushette stated as she came up to the Pretty Cure team. "I can't thank you enough for saving our wonderful island." The team smiled. "I'm sure you Pretty Cures want to know where the Wonder Color is of this vast oceanic region." The team nodded and begged to know the location of the Wonder Color. "Well I would love to help you dearies, but…" the sage then turned toward the village, "with all the mess that nasty general Blot did, I'm afraid we need to clean this up a bit first before I can give you young kids the whereabouts of the Wonder Color's location." The sage stared at the messy village with all the incomplete base structures the general forced the islanders to work. Brushette sighed, "I'm afraid it's going to take a lot of time to get this village back up and cleaned again."
The Pretty Cures stared at the distorted village in concern, until one of them grins. "Hey, maybe we can help." Cure Dream spoke. The sage and everyone heard and turned to her. "I mean, the more of us we fix this villager for the islanders, the sooner we can know and find that Wonder Color of this ocean. I mean…, it's alright, isn't it?" The other team members stared at Dream for a bit, but they all smiled.
"You're right Dream," Cure Melody agreed, "if we all work together very well and cooperatively, then I'm sure we can save this village and find the Wonder Color quickly."
"You're right Melody," Cure Honey followed, "so let's get to it."
Cure Blossom continues to speak to the sage, "Is that okay with you, Miss…, Miss uh…"
"Oh, the name's Sage Brushette," the sage answered, "and yes of course you can help, I thought you'd never ask."
"Alright, it's decided!" Cure Dream shouted, "Let's get to work."
And every Pretty Cure, including the fairies, started to help clean up the village and remove the unfinished structures that were built for Turp. Before Matt could press on, he watches the Pretty Cures seeing how they are willing to help others in need, whether it's a small or huge matter. Matt makes a thought, "These Pretty Cures are something. They are willing to help others besides saving the world from harm." He pauses for a moment, then continues to think, "Maybe it was the right choice for me to tag and team up with the Pretty Cures." After that last thought, Matt aided the Pretty Cures and the villagers to help clean up the island and village.
Bubbles, who is just floating on the side, watches the Pretty Cure team work hard into saving the village and the island. Bubbles grins at the team. "These girls are simply amazing and wonderful. They may be the true ones who can save me and my home from the events that's happening here in Blue Ocean." Bubbles puts her flipper on her chest, "Soon my sea friends…, I will return…"
