Chapter 21: The Undersea Castle

Names to pronounce is Moné (Me-nay) from anemone.
The Pretty Cure team is riding on top of Bloat, a humongous whale, as they are heading toward the secret underwater Coral Castle. While Bloat is happily swimming through the surface of the water, the Pretty Cure team is sitting and relaxing on Bloat as they feel the oceanic breeze blowing to their faces. Tint, the butterfly fairy, also enjoys herself of the breezy wind, while Bubbles, the sea angel, only smiled and looked up ahead to where Bloat is going.
"How are you Pretty Cures doing up there?" Bloat said with a grin.
"We're doing wonderful!" Cure Bloom shouted happily back at Bloat, "Thanks for asking."
"How much further to Coral Castle?" Cure Ace asked.
"We're pretty close," Bloat replied, "just a few more miles and were there."
"That means we'll be reaching Coral Castle in to time." Cure Mint noted.
"For sure." Cure Pine agreed.
But while everyone is getting ready to explore the underwater castle, Cure Peach spotted Tarte who is feeling a bit uneasy. She got closer to him and asks, "Hey Tarte, is everything alright?"
Tarte heard Peach's voice. "Hmm, Oh! Uh…, yeah. I'm fine." he said, "Call me that I'm being paranoid, but I have this funny feeling we're being followed."
"Really Tarte?" Peach looked around to see if anyone or anything is following Bloat and the team, but there is nothing in sight except for the sea water. "I don't see anything Tarte."
"Hmm… Well like I said, I think I'm just a little paranoid." Peach doesn't know why, but she smiles and comforts Tarte. He smiled of Peach's kind action.
But far away where Bloat and the Pretty Cure team are, a submarine scope that's a few inches out of the water is keeping a close eye on the team. Deep within the depths of the ocean is a dark silhouette shaped like a giant mechanical fish that's using the scope as a spying glass. And inside this giant mechanic fish are the Blots and Turp which they are in a submarine. The Blots are operating the submarine, while Turp uses the submarine's scope to keep a close eye on the Pretty Cure Team.
"Ha! Ha! Yes!" Turp said in a happy and evil manner. "Everything's going according to plan." Turp then raises the scope as he is done using it for now. "Those meddlesome Pretty Cures don't even know we're following them." He then turns toward two Blots who are right behind Turp. "And it's all thanks to you, my wonderful servants."
"GWOP-PO!" said the two Blots in sync and saluted.
"You we're brave Blots to find out the information about the Wonder Color's location."
The two Blots stared at each other remembering what they had done of their special task.
The two brave but cowardly Blots quickly got onto a rowboat back on Blue Ocean's main land shore as they were ordered by Turp's command to find the secret of the Wonder Color. The two quickly rowed all the way back to Brush Isle and sneakily passed the villagers to find the info of the Wonder Color. They searched high and low on the island, until the two Blots came across and spotted the Pretty Cures that are helping the sick whale Bloat. In undercover and eavesdropping, the two Blots overheard that the team are looking for the underwater castle that had the Wonder Color. With that info struck at them, the two Blots quickly headed back to Turp and gave him the scoop to follow the Pretty Cures until the time is right.
The two Blots continued to stare at each other and remembering how tough it was to go on a mission by themselves.
"You've two are maybe something worthy after all." said Turp grabbing the Blots' attention. "Maybe King Splat will make you official loyal subjects to him." The Blots' eyes' sparkle to hear a positive thought from Turp. "But enough sweet talk. Blots! Stay on course of those Pretty Cures, and don't lose sight of them." The Blots in the submarine saluted and guided their submarine to tailgate Bloat and the Pretty Cure team.
Meanwhile back on the surface of the water, Bloat is still happily swimming through the oceanic water as he carries the Pretty Cure team on his head. The team waited patiently to for the anticipated arrival of the underwater castle, until…
"Ah! Pretty Cures, we're here!" Bloat shouted. Everyone heard Bloat's words and looked up to see where the castle is. But once they scanned the scene, there is… nothing but ocean water.
"Um…, where?" Cure Lemonade said in confusion.
"We're right above it. This is where Coral Castle is."
"Hold on," Matt interrupted, "if this is the place, how are we suppose to breathe underwater?"
Bloat heard and he smiled. "I thought you might say that. Just wait one second."
Everyone on the team did as Bloat inhale his breath. Then he slowly starts to speak in a whale echo sound. The loud echoing sound from Bloat is loud and hallow like it can call out about two miles far. After a few seconds passed, everyone waited for the anticipation. Nothing happened as if Bloat's loud whale call didn't make any contact.
"Nothing's happening." Cure Happy said in concern.
"I don't know why Bloat did that loud cry." said Cure Heart in little confusion.
But Bubbles is calm and she smiled. "Just wait, and you'll see." she said.
The team heard her, and did what Bubbles said. They all waited again, until something happened. One of the Cures spotted a bright light coming within the depths of the water. The Cure informed everyone of what she saw, and everyone else on the team noticed the bright light in the water. Then the bright light started to expand into a bigger circle. It got bigger and bigger until the light is big as a baseball field. The Pretty Cure team was surprised about what they saw and wondered what that light is.
"Alright everyone, you better hold on to me very tight." Bloat informed the Pretty Cure team. "We're going to submerge."
Everyone heard Bloat, but they were concerned of one thing. "Wait, how are we supposed to breathe?" Cure Princess said and panicked a little.
"You'll see." Bubbles said in a calm mood, "Just hold on tight."
"I hope you sea creatures know what you're doing." Cure Diamond said in concern.
Without any arguing, the Pretty Cure team held onto Bloat really tight and took a deep breath as Bloat prepares to submerge into the oceanic water. Bloat pulls himself back for a moment, then a quick dive into the water as everyone is underwater.
Bloat kept swimming down into the depths of the oceanic water as the Pretty Cure team held onto their breaths. But it wasn't long that a few members of the team are starting to have the intention to breathe for air, but they tried to hold onto their breath really hard. But after a few quick seconds later, the members couldn't hold onto their breath anymore. And every member on the team started to clutch their necks for air. They couldn't hold it anymore, so they all opened their mouth and their air bubbles came out of their mouths feeling they need oxygen. But… for some strange reason, everyone can breathe underwater. Every member on the team is doing fine and they can also see underwater. But they were all confused of how they can breathe.
"Hey…, I can breathe." Cure Beat said in surprise.
"Me too." Cure Happy said in little shock.
"But…, how's this possible?" Cure Fortune said in curiosity.
Everyone is confused at the moment, until…
"Hey, look." Cure Lemonade called out to everyone and pointed.
Everyone heard Lemonade and looked around, and what they saw all around is a bright glowing coral reef with lots of different color reefs. Some are big and some are smalls, but there were many reefs spreading all over the underwater vicinity.
"Where… Where are we?" Cure Rouge wondered.
"Why, this place is called Rainbow Reef." Bloat replied, "This place is where lots of different corals exist that most of our sea friends live and play here. Rainbow Reef happens to be our popular home for us sea creatures."
Cure Marine looks at the reef and notices something. "If this is a home for the sea people, then where is everyone?" she asked.
"Ah, I thought you might say that. We'll due to that turpentine you call it, the spread of that toxic liquid is moving fast as it poisons our sea home. So I'll bet all of the sea creatures are heading to Coral Castle as a refuge of the poison."
"Why Coral Castle?" Cure Diamond wondered.
"Coral Castle is not home to the Wonder Color and the princess, but it is a magical refuge place that no harmful intruders or substances can ever enter that sacred area. The reason is that Wonder Color it holds. As long the Wonder Color remains in that castle, it uses its powers to make an energy barrier field to block out any dangerous things or beings. But I don't know how long it will last. If the spread of that turpentine covers the whole sea, then the castle's barrier will get weak, and the castle will be destroyed, and Blue Ocean will be doomed."
"We can't let that happen." Cure Heart said, "Bloat you got to take us to that castle, so we can find that princess and ask her to use her and the Wonder Color's powers to save the ocean."
Bloat smiles to Heart's heroic favor. "I'm on it…, and looks like we're here."
The Pretty Cure team looked up after they heard Bloat, and to their great astonishment, they see Coral Castle. It is a huge castle that's in the center of a glowing yellow area. There were many different color corals sticking out of the castle's walls. And in the center of the castle is a tower that has a bright blue light glowing at the top of it.
"There it is everyone." Bloat said, "That's Coral Castle. That holy place is the reason why you land beings can breathe underwater."
"Really?" said Cure March in surprise.
"Yep, this magical castle gives off a special aura power that can let land beings breathe underwater, so that people from above the water can meet the princess for their heartfelt desires."
Everyone is really amazed of the castle's magical power. Then Bloat gets closer to the castle he gently slows down and lands safely on the sea ground just a few yards away of the castle's front doors. Once Bloat stopped moving, the Pretty Cure team got off the giant whale and landed the on the sea ground.
"Hey, my feet can touch the ground." Cure Bloom said in little surprise.
"So can I." Cure Princess said in surprise too.
"But how? Aren't we suppose to float in the water?" Cure Aqua said in curiosity.
"Well, Pretty Cures," Bloat called out, "it's like I said, it's not for sea creatures, this magical castle is built for land beings to come here as well to ask the princess of their heartfelt desires. So this castle is built to make any land-living being walk in the water just like on land."
"So I see." Cure Moonlight said in an understanding look.
Tint and Bubbles were the last ones to get off of Bloat and land on the sea ground. Tint has no problem to fly and using her wings underwater, as Bubbles swims in underwater. Tint then looks all around the castle, and then spots the bright blue light on top of the tall tower.
"I'll bet that's where the next Wonder Color is." Tint called to everyone and pointed.
"That light you mean?" Cure Beauty said and noticed the light.
"No doubt, and I just know it. We need to hurry and get up there, so we can use the Wonder Color and save Blue Ocean and Spectrum Land."
"Then that's where we're headed." Cure Sunny said in a confident mood.
Bubbles stared at the castle for quite some time as she has a calm and happy look on her face. "Finally…, I'm home." she said. Matt however noticed Bubbles' state as he makes and curious look on his face.
"Alright team, let's move out." Cure Peach commanded. Everyone else agreed and headed toward the castle's doors.
"I'll be waiting here Pretty Cures if you ever need me." Bloat said to the team.
"Okay Bloat, and thanks for the lift." Shiny Luminous said with a warm smile and a bow.
But meanwhile far from the Pretty Cure team and the castle, hiding deep with the depths of the reef is a shadowy mechanic fish. Its submarine scope sticks out and observes the team heading into the castle. It watched closely to the team…, very closely.
The team is gathered together as they all walked up to the front doors of the castle. Along the road are thick colorful corals that are on both sides of the path. Everything seems fine… at first.
"Something doesn't feel right…" Matt said in concern.
"What do you mean?" Cure Rouge asked.
"Well, Bloat said this place is where most of the sea creatures come here whenever there's trouble in the ocean, but…"
"Where's everybody?" Cure Honey finished Matt's sentence.
The fairies started to make concern moods on their faces.
"I've got a bad feeling about this-ropu." Syrup said in little fright.
"Yeah, I know what you mean." Tarte replied.
Coco starts to speak, "It's almost as if that we're about to fall into a—"
"FREEZE!" A shout was blurted that got the Pretty Cure team jolted and frozen in their tracks. Then all of a sudden, sea creatures wearing soldier uniforms appeared out from the corals and surrounded the team. There were fish, seahorses, eels, turtles, jellyfish, crabs, you name it. They are holding sharp spear weapons and swords aiming towards the Pretty Cure team.
"—a trap-coco." Coco finished his sentence.
The Pretty Cures, the fairies, Matt, and Tint became shocked and scared to see the oceanic creatures holding their weapons toward them. But when Bubbles sees the soldiers, she remained calm.
"Alright you guys!" said a crab soldier, "Who are you, and how did you get here!?"
"Please don't hurt us!" Cure Peace cried, "We're here to help you."
"Yeah right…," said a turtle soldier, "you're actually after the Wonder Color aren't you?"
"That's right," Cure Sword, "But, we are—"
"I knew it!" said a jellyfish soldier, "these land beings are the minions working for those Blots!"
"It's bad enough to have these Blot intruders destroy our beloved ocean." said a starfish soldier, "Now you found our castle and are here to take away the Wonder Color for your diabolical conquest."
"No, you've got it all wrong!" Cure Pine shouts to the soldier sea creatures, "We're not your enemies, we are—"
"Lies! Lies! Lies!" said a shrimp soldier, "Ever since we lost our wonderful princess, it's been a real disaster in Blue Ocean ever since you dirty Blots have polluted the sea with awful chemical liquid that poisons us."
"Wait," Cure Ace speaks, "What happen to your princess?"
"Enough talk!" said the crab soldier, "Guards, destroy these evil Blot intruders!" Every sea guard started to prepare an attack on the Pretty Cure team. The team became frightened.
"What do we do?" Cure Blossom panicked, "We can't hurt, then they'll assume we're their enemies."
Things look dire at moment, until Matt's incredible and intelligent intuition struck him. In a quick second, he dives his hand into his messenger bag… "WAIT! I have something to prove to you we're not your enemies!" The guards heard Matt, but maintained their position to attack. In a flash, Matt pulled out…, "Here! This is the Wonder Color case! Is this proof enough!?" When all the sea creature soldiers see the case, they all blinked and lowered their weapons.
"It can't be…," said the seahorse soldier, "if you have that special case, then…"
"Who are you people?" the turtle soldier said.
"There's no need to fret my sea friends." Bubbles speaks to the guards, "These lovely ladies are really the Pretty Cures here to save Spectrum Land." With that one word: Pretty Cure, the guards flinched in surprise.
"What!? You're the legendary Pretty Cure heroes to save Spectrum Land?" the starfish soldier said in shock.
"That's what we've been trying to tell you." Cure Bloom said, "We came to the castle so we can see the princess, save the ocean, and get the Wonder Color."
The sea guards then held their weapons up and went into a greeting stance. "Then we sea citizens of the ocean are truly sorry for the intrusion on the heroes of Spectrum Land." the jellyfish guard said. "We had to be cautious of who we encounter if it's the Blots or good land beings."
"You're forgiven everyone," Cure White speaks, "we couldn't counterattack you guys, otherwise you'll assume we're a threat to you."
"Thank you very much for your kindness." the eel guard said, "And we are so honor to have you Pretty Cures here at the right moment."
"Indeed so." someone called out as guards heard the familiar voice, but the Pretty Cures turned toward the voice and wondered who said that. The front doors of the castle were opened and coming forth to the team and the sea guards are three women. One has an octopus head like cap on her head with the tentacles as her hair covering up only her left eye, a red crop top, and a long red skirt reaching touching the ground. The second is wearing a light blue fortune teller's outfit that she has sea shells on her ears, necklace, left wrist, and one on the front side of her fortune teller hat. The last women has pinkish sea anemone hair with a clownfish pet inside of it, and wears a thick green dress that is collarless, has long sleeves, touches the ground, and has seaweed decorated on it.
"It's a big pleasure meeting you Pretty Cures here in Coral Castle." said the fortune teller.
"It's nice to meet you too," Matt said, "but… who are you?"
"Ah, where is our manners?" said the crab guard, "Sorry Pretty Cures, allow me to introduce to you these kind ladies of the castle. The fortune teller is Shelly, that one with the octopus hair is Octavia, and the one in the green dress is Moné."
"Please to meet you Pretty Cures." Shelly said with a grin.
"Likewise." Octavia said in calm mood and firm look.
"Me too." Moné followed.
"We have been looking forward so long for your arrival Pretty Cures," Shelly said, "especially due to our princess's sake." Shelly and the two other women turned into a frown look.
"What do you mean the 'princess's sake,' and why do you look so sad?" Cure Muse asked in concern.
Moné speaks up, "You see, I happen to be the princess's loyal right hand woman. I was told that the princess went on a quest by herself since a terrible thing is happening to our home Blue Ocean. She also ordered me to tell Octavia and Shelly about her mission."
"I was told and ordered to protect the castle at all costs from any evil beings that may enter." Octavia stated, "I am also the captain of the guards here in this castle."
"And as I, a great wisdom foreteller that knows the conditions of the sea," Shelly continues, "I was informed of the sea's status by the princess of what the cause our sea people to go sick. I told the princess that a strange liquid we are not familiarized has entered our sea and caused our sea people to become ill."
"It's the turpentine." Tint answered.
"That's right," Moné replied, "When princess found out about that, she took a daredevil mission by going alone and checking out the problem. We wanted to aid her in her mission, but she wanted us to protect the castle and the Wonder Color from any interlopers that may get passed her."
Shelly then makes a sorrow and regretful look, "But… ever since then she left the castle…, (sniff) she never came back." The Pretty Cure team became completely shocked.
"We order our sea people to find her high and low in sea," Octavia continues, "but due to the fact that the turpentine is spreading so fast, our search for the princess was a total loss."
Moné started to make tears as she rubs them away using her thick sleeves. "We assumed that we lost our mermaid princess, Pearl, forever." Shelly and Octavia became very depressed, and so did the sea guards. The Pretty Cure team sees this sad sight and didn't know how to cope them.
"Well don't you all frown like that." Bubbles speaks up to everyone. Everyone heard and looked at Bubbles as she has a calm smiled look on her face. "The princess doesn't want to see any sad faces like that. I'm really sure and positive that the princess will come back and be very proud that you kept the castle in good condition."
"But…, how can you be sure." Moné said in curiosity.
"And who are you?" Octavia asked in a firm mood.
"I'm Bubbles at your service." She replied.
"Hmm…, how peculiar…" Shelly said curiosity.
"What is?" Moné asked Shelly.
"I've encountered and know many sea creatures here in Blue Ocean, but I would never expect to see a sea angel here at this part of the ocean. Are you new here in Blue Ocean?"
"Huh? Uh, no." Bubbles said in little concern. "I've been here for a long time. I'm just a special sea angel here, that's all."
"But then, how do know that the princess is alright?" Octavia asked in a firm and curious look.
"I just know. The princess and I happen to be very good close friends." That last statement Bubbles said made Matt twitch and blink as if something he heard from her ticked his mind.
"How very odd…," Shelly said in concern, "The princess never mentions she has a sea angel as good friend."
"Well, all the sea creatures, including us, are of all the princess's friends." Moné corrected.
"Hmm, you're probably right." Shelly shrugged.
"Well you guys, I don't mean to be in a rush, but we need that Wonder Color in order for us to save Spectrum Land and save your ocean." Tint begged.
"Even if you have the Wonder Color in your hands, you may not have the power like our princess to save Blue Ocean's pollution." Shelly said in concern.
"Still, we have to try." Cure Beauty said with determination.
"Can you please give us a chance?" Cure Mint asked.
The three women looked at each other for a moment in thought. Then they nodded and came with an answer. "Well, you're the Pretty Cures of Spectrum Land, and you're here to save our world." Shelly said, "So could I say no? We'll take you to the Wonder Color right away." Shelly smiled, and so did Octavia and Moné.
The Pretty Cure team smiled as they are grateful to head to the location of the Wonder Color. "Alright, Wonder Color, here we come!" Cure Happy said joyfully.
"Please follow us." Moné told the team. And they did as the team followed Shelly, Octavia, and Moné into the castle. The sea guards continued to be on the lookout for any intruders.
Once the Pretty Cure team and the three ladies of the castle got inside of the place, the front doors began to close, and everyone is inside the halls of the castle. The team looked around the area and sees many statues of sea creatures big and small, glowing crystals hanging from the ceiling, and the fancy sea interior decoration.
"Talk about the royal treatment." Matt said in amazement, "No normal guy is able to get to see this by any chance."
"Well Matt, let's say you're a lucky fellow." Cure Berry stated.
"You're probably right."
"Wow, this place is incredible." Cure Lovely said in awe.
"Well this is what a castle looks like on the inside." Cure Princess pointed, "After all, I lived in a castle."
"Right, I almost forgot you're a real princess." Cure Honey said.
The Pretty Cure team and the three ladies then came across a lobster guard who is standing in front two doors. Octavia walks up and speaks to the guard, "Sir, the Pretty Cures have arrived, and we must let them into the throne room." The guard nodded in response and understood. He then opens the doors and lets the team and the three ladies go through them.
It was then the team came upon large stairs that leads up to the throne room. It is a long flight, but the team along with the three ladies made it to the front doors of the throne room. Once the team arrived at the doors, two more guards, a dolphin and a swordfish, are guarding the doors. The team came face to face with them as Shelly speaks to them. "No need to fret you two." she said calmly, "These are the legendary Pretty Cures here to save Spectrum Land and our Blue Ocean." The guards blinked to hear that the heroes of Spectrum Land are here, but once they observe the Pretty Cure team, they nodded and opened the door. With that, the team and the three ladies stepped inside the room.
With everyone inside the throne, the team looked everywhere in an amazing sight. There are magical shiny stones on the walls with beautiful sea creature murals, the floor has colorful tiles, and an empty royal throne with a sparkling pearl on the top of it. But Tint is more concerned of finding the Wonder Color.
"You ladies have a nice throne room for the princess," Tint said, "but where's the Wonder Color?"
"There's no need to rush yourself," Shelly said in a calm manner, "the Wonder Color is above this room."
"Above the room?" Cure Rhythm said in question.
"Well…, how do we get there?" Cure Black asked.
"Take a look where you are standing." Octavia replied to the team. While in the center of the throne room, the team looked down and sees a huge circular engraving panel of the mermaid princess holding the Wonder Color in her hands. Some of the Cures are a bit astounded by the panel's incredible drawing. "This huge part of the floor we're standing on is going to take us all the way to the chamber of the Wonder Color you Pretty Cures are searching for. However…"
"We have only one problem…" Moné said in concern. The team turned to her and listened. "The only one who can get us into the chamber of the Wonder Color… is the mermaid princess Pearl herself." The team flinched in surprise knowing that they are stuck once again and so close to reaching the next Wonder Color.
"Now what do we do?" Cure Happy panicked.
"If only the mermaid princess is here to help us," Cure Peace wished, "but…,"
"These ladies said she disappeared…" Cure Moonlight said in concern.
"We're so close too." Matt said in a firm and little concern mood, "If only there is somebody else that can get us into the chamber."
"I can help you all with that." Everyone turned to the person who said that, and it is Bubbles. "Like I said, the princess and I are very close friends, and I happened to know how to get all of us into the chamber."
"Really, can you show us?" Cure Lovely begged.
Bubbles nodded in response, then she swims into the middle of the floor panel. Once she was positioned, she uses her flippers to get them close together without touching each other. Everyone waited…, until a light blue orb appeared between Bubbles' flippers. Then the floor panel started to glow making everyone jolt for a second. It glowed brightly when all of a sudden the panel started to move. In a few seconds, the floor panel started to rise up from the ground carrying everyone on board. Everyone, the Pretty Cure team and the three ladies of the castle, waited for the anticipation. "Hey! Look up there!" Tint shouted to everyone. Everyone did as the ceiling to the throne room started to create an opening hole.
"Where did that hole appear, and where does it go-nya?" Hummy wondered.
"Hang on everyone," Bubbles said to the gang, "Next stop: the Wonder Color Chamber."
In a quick second, the panel started to move and carried everyone on board up to the hole in the ceiling and to the chamber. It turns out the panel is a secret elevator that leads to the tower containing the Wonder Color of the castle. The panel zoomed at a steady speed as everyone on board waited patiently to reach the chamber.
After a few seconds on the elevating panel, everyone arrived in a small dome with two doors leading outside of the room. "We made it." Bubbles stated, "We're here." Bubbles then points to the doors of the room. "And just beyond those doors is the where the Wonder Color exists."
"Amazing," Cure Dream said with joy, "we're one step closer to get the next Wonder Color."
Most of the Pretty Cures are happy that they are inches away of the Wonder Color, but Matt and Shelly got concerns over Bubbles as the two stared at her. Shelly walks up to Bubbles for questioning. "Bubbles, how in the world did you perform that spell?" she wondered in little surprise, "Only the princess would know that, and she never tells her secret spell to get into the chamber here."
Bubbles only smiles and replies, "Like I said, I'm a very special close friend to the princess. I'm also responsible for protecting all my wonderful friends in the sea."
Shelly was even more curious about Bubbles, but that last statement got Matt Oda twitched and blinked as if he caught a vital clue from her. And to Matt, is he getting closer to the truth of Bubbles.
"Well then Pretty Cures," Moné speaks, "let us proceed." Moné then opened the doors as everyone else tagged along and enter through the doors.
Once they got out of the small room, the Pretty Cure team is amazed of what they saw. There they stand on the tall tower of the castle that overlooks the whole area of Rainbow Reef. And in the middle of the tower is the one and only Wonder Color Blue.
"Is that it-coco?" Coco asked as he noticed the Wonder Color glowing brightly.
"It sure is," Octavia replied, "that is the Wonder Color Blue."
Shelly continues to speak, "As you can see, the Wonder Color is in a magical state protecting the castle by creating this huge barrier around us. You may have the Wonder Color, but you need to control its power by sealing its state and returning in its neutral form."
"In other words, you must make the barrier go away first." Moné said.
"But be careful," Octavia warns the team, "the princess put a powerful force on the Wonder Color making it almost impossible for any being to touch and neutralize it. Usually the princess would be able to seal the force around it, but now that she's not here…, it's only up to you girls to seal and calm the Wonder Color."
"So you're saying that one simple touch on the Wonder Color can actually stun us no matter who it responds to a being who is good or evil?" Matt asked.
"Precisely." Octavia replied, "But only a true being with a golden and magnificent heart like the princess and calm the powers of the Wonder Color."
"Then this is going to be hard-ropu." Syrup said in concern, "I don't know if you Pretty Cures have strong hearts to connect the Wonder Color to calm it down-ropu."
"Maybe Shiny Luminous can do it," Cure White suggested and turns to her. Everyone else looked at Luminous too. "She has the heart of the queen Black and I know, and maybe her golden kindness can reach the Wonder Color."
"Wait, what do you mean 'she has a heart of the queen?'" Matt wondered.
"We'll explain later Matt," Black replied, then she turned to Luminous, "but right now, Luminous can you do it?"
Luminous makes a little concern look on her face. "I'm not really sure if can," she said, but then she makes a firm look, "but I can at least try." Luminous is willing to accept her challenge, until…
"Hold on," everyone heard and Luminous stops herself to hear the person called out to her. They all turned to the person and it is Bubbles again. "There's no need to risk yourself my dear little girl." Luminous became a little confuse by Bubbles' words. "I will handle the Wonder Color myself. After all I know so much about the princess's spells and powers she taught me. We are close friends." Luminous nods in complete understanding, but Matt… he makes sneaky look on his face.
"Bubbles, do really know what to do?" Shelly said in concern again.
"Of course, so if you please?"
Shelly wasn't sure, but she makes a firm look and nods. "Alright Bubbles, do us the honor."
Bubbles nodded, and she swims up to the Wonder Color Blue as it glows brightly. When she got close, Bubbles concentrates her powers. Then using her flippers, she surrounds the Wonder Color as she sends her aura power to the Wonder Color. In a few seconds, the Wonder Color started to lose its brightness and revert back to its neutral state. Everyone, the team and the ladies, were amazed by Bubbles' performance, but Matt…, still has his sneaky look. Soon the barrier around the castle disappeared knowing the Wonder Color stopped its magic. Bubbles then relaxes herself and takes the Wonder Color Blue to the Pretty Cure team. Bubbles arrives in front the team with a smile, and then she speaks.
"Now then Pretty Cures, before I give the Wonder Color, shall we purify the ocean first?" Bubbles said in a kind way.
"Oh yes, definitely." Cure Honey replied, "We need to restore the ocean before we put the Wonder Color in the case."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Cure Marine said, "Let's do this."
Bubbles nodded in agreement. "I'll use my magic to help you Pretty Cures." The Pretty Cures smiled, but…
"Wait just a moment!" Matt shouted to stop everyone. Everyone turned to him in a confused statement. "Before you begin Bubbles, can I ask you one question?"
"Certainly Matt, what is it?"
"What I'm about to say is the truth, and I want you to be honest to me."
"I'm listening…"
Matt takes a breath, exhales, and makes a firm look before he speaks. "Who exactly… are you?"
When Bubbles heard that, she became silent. She didn't move and didn't respond but stares at Matt. The Pretty Cures and the three ladies of the castle were puzzled of what Matt said and wondered what did he mean by that. Bubbles didn't do anything but kept staring Matt as he also stares Bubbles in a firm look on his face. Few seconds have passed in complete silence, but then Bubbles… calmly smiles. Matt sees her smile as he raises his eyebrows.
"I knew it." Matt said.
"So Matt…, you've figured out the truth." Bubbles said calmly. "You have great wisdom in you young man."
The Pretty Cure team and the ladies are puzzled not knowing what's going on. "Uh…, Matt what do you mean?" Cure Heart asked, "What truth?"
Matt heard Heart and responds, "Isn't it obvious? The princess of Blue Ocean has never disappeared the whole time. In fact, she's right here… now."
Everyone became surprised. "Really!?" Cure Princess said in shock, "Then where is she!?"
Matt turns to Bubbles, "Bubbles, why don't you tell everyone here."
Bubbles nods. "Listen my lovelies," she said to the team and the ladies, "Matt is right, the mermaid princess has never disappeared. She has always been with you ever since she first met you Pretty Cures. You are wonderful Pretty Cures, and you've shown your true compassion of helping all of my sea people who are in grave danger of those evil Blots that's taking over my home. I thank you for that."
"Uh…, sure…," Cure Black said in little confusion, "but why are you saying like that?"
"Yeah, you act like you're a really kind person who cares for everyone." Cure Sunny in curiosity.
"Unless…," Cure Aqua said as she clued in on Bubbles' behavior. She kept thinking, then she came to a confirm thought, "…who are you really?"
Bubbles smiles to the Pretty Cures. "It's time for you to know." she said, "You see, I—"
SWOOSH! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Suddenly, out of the blue, huge missiles appeared and exploded on impact on the tower. Everyone braced for the impact and protected themselves. But while everyone is covering for their safety…, Whirr! Snap! A robotic claw appeared and swiped the Wonder Color Blue right of Bubbles' flippers. The Pretty Cure team, Bubbles, and the ladies saw what happened to the Wonder Color as it is taken away into a huge dark silhouette right above their heads.
"NO! The Wonder Color!" Bubbles shouted in horror.
"Wha—What is that!?" Shelly shouted in surprise.
Everyone took a closer look at the silhouette revealed a huge shark submarine. The shark submarine's mouth was opened as the Wonder Color is being taken inside its mouth. The mouth closed leaving the Wonder Color inside of the submarine.
"That submarine got the Wonder Color!" Moné cried in horror.
"Who is doing horrible act!?" Octavia shouted and demanded.
"GAH! HA! HA! HA! HA!" An evil laughed appeared from the speakers of the submarine. "I finally got what I came here for." Once the Pretty Cure team heard the voice, they flinched in surprise.
"That voice…," Cure Beauty said and noticed, "…it's Turp!"
"Gah! Ha! Ha! That's right you frilly idiots. Thank you for leading the way and finding the Wonder Color for us. I would never able to find this wonderful magical piece valuable if you hadn't guided us the way."
The three ladies of the castle became shocked of what they heard from Turp. "Is… Is this true!?" Shelly said in shock, "You tricked us!?"
"NO! You've got it wrong!" Tint screeched, "They must've followed us while we didn't notice. Why in the world would we do such a thing?"
Then everyone heard a loud motoring sound operating. They looked up and see the huge rotors of the submarine moving. "Now I got what I want, I'll be happy to take his wonderful prize to King Splat, and he'll give a great bonus for my job well done." Turp said as he steered the submarine ready to head back to the mainland. Just before he casts off, Turp got one last word to the team. "You'll never save this pathetic ocean Pretty Cures, and us Blots will this world. Sea ya later! Bwah! Ha! Ha! Ha!" He pulls a lever inside of the submarine as the huge aquatic machine swims far away into the distance.
With Turp in possession of the Wonder Color Blue, the Pretty Cure team and the ladies are now in a deep situation.
