29. Cure-napped!
Purple Bog has an eerie and creepy scenery. All the trees have no leaves, and they looked dark. There are dried up bushes scattered around the area. And a dense purplish fog surrounds the woods. Spider webs are on the branches of the trees, and creepy bugs crawled around on the dirt ground. There is a small swampy stream running in the dark forest. In the dark marsh is a high iron yet rusty gates with tall a fence surrounded with sharp barbwires. The gates are covered with hard-ironed chains that are strongly unbreakable. One side of the gates leads to Pigment Village, while the other side points into Purple Bog.
Within the woods is a signpost with a painting attached to it of Pigment Village. The picture then shakes like something is about to come out. And then…, Splash! Splash! Splash! The Pretty Cure team popped out of the painting and landed safely on the ground. The team arrived in Purple Bog and looked around the place. As horrifying as Sage Mark stated, the area looked like a haunted forest.
"Gah!" Rin shouted in fright. "This is Purple Bog!?"
"Mark wasn't kidding," Itsuki said, "This looks very haunting than seeing the picture on the painting."
"Now I'm starting to get the shivers." Mai said with little fear.
"Well, we can't stop now." Tint speaks up, "We have to hurry and save Purple Bog from those nasty Blots."
"Right," Ako agreed, "otherwise those fiends will have the next Wonder Color."
"Well then everybody, let's go." Rikka called out.
The team agreed with a nod, and they all walked down a dirt path leading into the marsh. Most of the team walked calmly into the bog, but a few girls are still trembling a little in fright. Matt noticed the girls' presence and current behavior.
"Do not worry girls." Matt said as he cheers up the girls. "We're all in this together. And if anything happens, I, Matt Oda, will be right by your side. That's what a gentleman does."
"Gee Matt, you're so kind." Nao said with a grin.
At Rainbow Castle, the dungeon cells are full of innocent captive people. Two tough Blots guided Queen Chroma down the dungeon halls and put her into a cell. Queen Chroma stepped in and sat on the cold hard floor. The Blots closed the cell's door and locked it up tight. The Blots then exited the dungeon. Queen Chroma sighed in depression.
"Your Majesty! Is that you!?" some young man spoke.
Queen Chroma heard the voice and turned toward the source. She couldn't believe her eyes that in her view is two of her loyal servants Traci and Compass. Along with Traci and Compass are a guard and a worker of the castle.
"Advisor Compass, Manager Traci, it's good to see you." Queen Chroma replied with a grin.
"Ah, your majesty…, we're so worried about you." Compass said with great relief.
"We always thought our wonderful queen would be in great danger." Traci said with little fear.
"Don't be so silly Traci." Queen Chroma said with glee. "It's not me King Splat wants, it's the Wonder Colors he's after." The queen then winked while she still has her smile. "Plus, my good informant told me that the Pretty Cures are halfway done. They just retrieved Red Volcano's Wonder Color Red."
"Splendid," Compass said with little joy, "I knew those Pretty Cures could pull it through to the very end."
"Well they're not at the very end yet." said a guard correcting Compass, "They've still got four more Wonder Colors to go."
"Indeed," Traci agreed, "And the next areas the Pretty Cures are heading are going to get tougher every time."
"We must believe in the Pretty Cures." Queen Chroma said with confidence, "I know they will bring all the Wonder Colors back and save Spectrum Land."
Everyone else in the cell agreed with Queen Chroma. Then Chroma makes a concerned look on her face.
"What's wrong your majesty?" a worker asked in alarm.
"(Sigh)… It's Tint, that's all…" the queen replied.
Everyone paused for silence, and then they all made a worried look on their faces.
"How is she doing?" Compass asked.
"She's doing very well. But sometimes, I worry about her so much." Queen Chroma searched in her gown and took out a specific item. In her hand is a beaded rainbow necklace with a diamond jewel on it. Everyone noticed the necklace, and they all became a little shock.
"I know that jewelry." Traci speaks up, "Tint used to wear that."
"That's right," Compass agreed, "That's one of her birthday presents."
Queen Chroma looked at the necklace. She then becomes more worried. "Please Tint, be alright." the queen said. She then grasped the necklace tightly to her chest not letting it go.
Back at Purple Bog, the Pretty Cure team continued walking down the dirt path. Most of the Pretty Cure girls, the fairies, including matt are a little wary of the bog's creepy setting. But a few girls, like Rin and Makoto, are still shivering anticipating for incoming spooky beings. They all kept walking, when…
Hoo! Hoo! Hoo!
An animal sound was called out causing the scared Pretty Cure girls to jolt in fright.
"Wha-What was that!?" Miyuki shouted and panicked.
"Relax girls; there's nothing to be afraid." Matt speaks and comforts Miyuki and the girls. He then pointed in the direction of the sound's source. He aimed at the top of the tree where a feathery bird sits on a branch. Everyone looked and spotted the source which is staring at the team. "It's only an owl." Matt stated.
"Oh, an owl…," Ellen said in little embarrassment, "yeah, we knew that."
"Then why did you freak out?" Ako said in exasperation. Ellen dropped her head and made a sweat-drop.
"Whew!... I'm glad it's just an owl." Nao said in relief, "Thought it might've been a huge monster."
"Let's not think about that." Rin said concern.
"Anyway…," Iona speaks up, "Let's continue onward."
"Right," Setsuna agreed, "We are not getting anyway just by standing."
Everyone agreed and continued walking down the dirt path. The owl continued to watch the Pretty Cure team. However, the owl is not what it appears to be. It's an owl made of fluffy wool with its body parts stitched together. The owl is a moving plushy doll. And unaware of this plushy owl, its eyes glowed in a dank purple-pinkish color as it stares at the Pretty Cure team.
Somewhere else in a room where it is very dark to see anything, a portal is being shown depicting the Pretty Cure team walking down the dirt path. Being watched are a plethora of gothic lolita and maid dolls who are alive and making an evil look on their faces. Next to the stuffed toys and in a tall chair is a shadowy and gothic girl who is also watching the Pretty Cures. She sat with her right elbow on the chair's arm and her right fist on her right cheek. She observed the heroines in a gloomy but evil manner.
"Our pet owl is doing well eavesdropping on the legendary heroes." said one of the gothic lolita dolls.
"Indeed" replied one of the maid dolls. She then turns to the girl in the chair. "Master, do you think they'll have a chance?"
The shadowed gothic lolita girl in her high chair kept her evil stare and responded in a snickering manner. "We'll see… Let's see if the heroines of Spectrum Land prove themselves that they save the lively town Pastel Square." The gothic girl then giggled evilly.
The Pretty Cure team kept walking down the dirt path anticipating coming across a posted sign, a fork in the road, or a good omen. It was then after a few more minutes the team encountered a muddy river flowing downstream slowly. The gang observed the river seeing it is about ten yards wide, and the murky water contained dirty and slimy plants floating on the water. The team felt a little disgust by the river's swampy appearance.
"Ugh, there's no way we're going in there." Hibiki said with a grossed look on her face.
"Definitely," Honoka agreed, "there must be another dirt path somewhere."
"But, I don't see one." Urara said with concern, "Have we reached a dead end?"
"Don't tell me we have to swim in that dirty and filthy river." Akane said in shock.
"I don't think we have to." Matt said calmly.
"Why is that?" Yuri asked Matt who is looking away from the Pretty Cure girls.
"Look." Matt pointed outward as everyone else sees where he is pointing.
In Matt's direction, the team spotted an old wooden cabin that's built at the edge of the river and on top of the river's surface. There is a large white passenger motorboat floating next to the cabin. Lights dimly glowed from inside indicating there's someone inside the cabin.
"Hey, there's a boat." Hime said and noticed.
"You're right." Miki followed, "Maybe there's someone who can give us a ride down this river."
"Well then, let's check it out." Aguri commanded.
The team then walked toward the cabin.
As soon they approached the front of the cabin, they spotted a sign hanging and posting on the front of the cabin. Displaying from the sign says "Wicka's Boat Taxi."
"I wonder if Wicka is the person in charge of this service?" Yayoi asked.
"You may be right…" Iona replied.
The team then stepped onto the porch of the cabin and approached the front door. Setsuna volunteered to knock the door. (Knock Knock) In a few seconds there is no replying answer, but then in the next second…
"Please come in." said a woman in a kind tone of voice.
The team then opened the door and stepped inside the cabin. Once inside the group looked around. The room is a bit small, but it contained two straw chairs and one straw couch, a ceiling fan, soft light lamps around the room, and a little front desk on the other side of the room.
Behind the front desk and in the team's view is a young woman in a pink woman's suit with a gray mini-skirt, a red tie around her neck, and a pink bellboy hat. She has puffy magenta hair with each of her bangs sticking out from one side of her head. She wears small round glasses just below her eyes.
"Greetings fellow travelers." Said the woman in a kind voice. "I'm Belle, please to meet you."
"Hi there Belle," Hibiki replied with a smile, "Is this a boat taxi service?"
"Yes indeed. What can I do for you?"
"We need a ride down the river and fast." Mai requested.
"A ride huh? Then you came to the right place, dear girls." Belle then stepped out from the behind the front desk and approached a window. She showed the team the motorboat just outside of the cabin. "This passenger motorboat is guaranteed to get you guys to Pastel Square in a matter of seconds. It has very comfortable seats and a great view to see the surroundings of Purple Bog. We even provide great refreshments to our great customers."
"Wow," said Nagisa in amazement, "all that for us?"
"Yep, one hundred percent guarantee."
"Pastel Square huh?" Karen said curiously, "That must be Purple Bog's main town."
"So then…, what's the cost to get on board?" Kurumi asked.
"Well young blue rose, I heard a rumor that there are heroic girls called the Pretty Cures that are here to save Spectrum Land." Belle flicked and pointed her right-hand fingers toward the Pretty Cure team. "If you have proof that you girls are the one and only heroine Pretty Cures, then you'll get the VIP treatment."
The gang smiled knowing what to show to Belle as proof of the Pretty Cures. Most of the girls turned to Matt. "Hey Matt, you know what to do." Nozomi said with a grin. But Matt didn't respond. In fact, the girls noticed he had an awkward look on his face. He was also staring at Belle for some odd reason. "Matt. Matt!" Nozomi shouted to him. Matt shook his head and heard Nozomi's shout.
"What's the matter, Matt?" Yuri asked with little concern.
Matt looked at all the Pretty Cure girls as he rubbed his head while being a little confused. "Uh…, nothing. Nothing."
"Then Matt Oda, if you please." Miki said politely.
Matt nodded and took out the Wonder Color Case from his bag. He then showed it to Belle. She took one good look at the case, and then she smiled. "Ha! My goodness!" Belle said happily, "It's the Wonder Color Case. That means only one thing. You girls must be the Pretty Cures I've heard so much about."
"That's us, Belle." Akane agreed with a wink. "Is this enough proof for you?"
"It sure is. So, I'm letting you all have a free ride in the motorboat."
"Alright!" Erika shouted gleefully, "We're traveling in style."
"Erika, take it easy." Tsubomi said trying to calm Erika down.
"I have just one question before we get on," Rikka asked, "This place is called 'Wicka's Boat Taxi,' just like what the sign said. So where is this Wicka?" Everybody blinked in curiosity after hearing Rikka's question.
Belle happily replied, "Oh, don't worry about her. She is busy in the back doing some paperwork. So, she put me in charge until she's available."
"I see." Rikka replied.
"Well, it's decided." Nozomi speaks, "Let's get on board."
"Right everyone." Belle speaks, "right this way everyone." Belle guides the team out toward the motorboat.
But just as they are about to head out the side door leading to the motorboat, Matt speaks up. "Excuse me Belle, is there any water I can get for a drink before we get on the boat?"
"Yes, right over there." Belle said and pointed.
Matt looked and spotted a drinking water dispenser with paper cups hanging on the side. "Thanks, I'll be right there." Matt replied.
"Hey, I want a drink too-coco." Coco said.
"Me too-ropu." Syrup followed.
"Count me too." Tint said.
Matt, Coco, Syrup, Tint, including Natts, decided to get a drink while the Pretty Cure girls, the fairies, and Belle walked toward the motorboat.
"Talk about riding in top class." Hime said with excitement, "This is going to be fun."
"My, aren't you a sweet little princess." Belle said with joy.
Hime smiled back at Belle, but Matt made another confused and curious look on his face and stared at Belle. To Matt, something about Belle didn't seem right. He continued to stare Belle as she exits out the side door. Matt looked down as he ponders about Belle. But he then shook his head and got water to drink.
Outside of the cabin, the Pretty Cure girls, the rest of the fairies, and Belle walked and got close to the passenger motorboat. They all arrived on the dock boardwalk where the motorboat is tied to a dock's pole. Everyone got on board, and once they did, the team is amazed to seem the comfortable seats and boat's shady roof. The perfect boat for a good trip down the river. All the Pretty Cure girls and the fairies went to a chair and sat.
"This is going to be great." Love said cheerfully, "We'll get to that Wonder Color in no time."
"You said it." Inori replied with a grin.
"Now we just have to wait for Matt and the other fairies." Miki noted.
"I wonder what's taking them so long-nya?" Hummy pondered.
"They better hurry or else the boat will leave-desu wa." Ribbon said in little concern.
"Alright everyone," Belle announced to the team, "we will part soon. Let me check the engines and see if everything's operational. Be sure to buckle up safely."
Everyone did what Belle. While everyone is getting ready, a few girls are concern about Matt and the other fairies' arrival.
"C'mon Matt," Hime said in fear, "We're about to ship out."
Back inside the cabin, Matt is at his sixth and last cup as he drinks all the water.
"Hurry Matt," Coco said and panicked a little, "everyone's going to leave without us-coco."
Matt then takes the last gulp and exhales showing he finished drinking his final cup. "Okay, sorry about that." Matt said feeling relieved, "I was so thirsty." Matt threw his cup into a trash can. "Okay you guys, let's get to that motorboat."
Coco and the other fairies nod in agreement. But just when they are about to exit out through the side door… (THUD! THUD! THUD!) Matt and the fairies heard a loud banging noise.
"What was that-natsu?" Natts said.
(THUD! THUD! THUD!)
"There it is again-ropu." Syrup noted.
The loud and unexpected noise kept going as it got Matt and the fairies started and pondered the mysterious sound they heard.
"Where is that coming from?" Tint wondered.
The gang waited and kept hearing the banging noise in the room. Matt then looked around the room and tried to figure out the source of the disturbing sound. He then stopped and stared at the front desk. He then spotted the opening door leading into the backroom. It is then Matt thought of something.
"It sounds like it's coming from the backroom." Matt said and pointed toward the source.
"What do you think it is?" Tint asked?
"I'll go check it out." Matt replied. He then dashed toward the front desk.
"Matt! We need to get on the boat-coco!" Coco shouted.
"It'll only take a second." Matt called back to Coco. Matt went to the front desk and headed for the backroom.
Once Matt went into the backroom he sees the room containing a shelf of paperwork, books, and files, a wooden desk with a lamp on it, and a coat rack in the corner of the room. But the sound kept going, and Matt continues looking at where the sound is coming from. It is then Matt spotted a door at the back of the room, and the banging noise was coming from it.
"It's coming from that door." Matt noted. Matt quickly rushed to the door. Coco and the other fairies followed him.
Once Matt and the fairies arrived at the door, Matt knocks and speaks in response. "Hello? Anyone in there?" Matt asked. Matt then heard someone inside shouting with their mouth covered. "Someone's inside!" Matt claimed to the fairies.
"There is-natsu!?" Natts said in surprise.
"Hurry! Open the door!" Tint commanded.
With no time to waste, Matt unlocked the door and swiftly opens it. After the door opened, cleaning supplies fell out of the closet such as a mop, broom, and detergent bottles. But something else dropped out of the closet and hit the ground. To Matt and the fairies' surprise, it is an old, hooded woman tied up with a cloth around her mouth. She wears a dark brown robe around her. She has a big nose with a few little warts on it, and she has gray frizzy hair. Matt and fairies helped untie the woman.
"Goodness Gracious!" Tint said in shock. "What happened?"
"Ma'am, what in the world happened here?" Matt said in little terror.
Once the cloth around her mouth is uncovered, the woman speaks up loudly. "Don't get on that motorboat! It's a trap! Don't trust that woman!"
Matt and the fairies are confused. "Wha-What do you mean-ropu?" Syrup asked.
"That nasty sow captured and locked me in the closet."
"Wha… You mean Belle-Coco?" Coco mentioned quizzically. "But why would—"
"Hold on," Natts interrupted, "who are you-natsu?"
"I'm Wicka, and I run this taxi service."
"Wicka!?" Tint said in shock, "But why were you in the closet? Didn't Belle said you were doing some paperwork or something?"
"Wait!" Matt interrupted. Matt thought something carefully about Belle. He remembers what Belle said to two certain girls. After a few seconds of deep thinking, it was then he finally realizes and widens his eyes. "Oh no…"
"What? What's wrong?" Tint asked.
Matt didn't reply, but instead, he dashed out the backroom and headed out the motorboat.
"Matthew! Wait up-coco!" Coco shouted.
Back at the motorboat, all the girls and the rest of the fairies are all tucked in and ready to go. Belle is about to call out to the Pretty Cure team.
"Alright girls," Belle speaks, "is everyone ready to head Pastel Square?"
"Yes," Yuko replied, "but we're just missing Matt Oda and the other fairies."
"What's taking so long?" Miyuki worried, "They've should've been here right now."
"Well, since we're waiting for them, I want to give you pretty girls a surprise." Belle said with a grin.
"Ooo… a surprise." Urara said with joy. "What is it?"
"I'll show you." Belle pulled out a remote controller with a red button on it. Just when she's about to push it…
"PRETTY CURES!" Everyone on the boat heard the shout and turned toward the source. Coming towards them is Matt Oda who is running up to the group. Following behind him are the fairies and Wicka.
"There he is." Yayoi said happily.
"About time," Rikka said, "We're about to head out."
"Pretty Cures!" Matt shouted as he arrived and stopped at near the edge of the river, "Get out of there! Get off the boat!" The girls and the other fairies turned into odd looks on their faces. "Get away from her! It's a trap!"
The team is confused about what Matt is trying to tell, but Belle made an evil smirk. She hit the button and then… Whir! Swoosh! Click! Suddenly, straps and bars appeared and entrapped the girls to their seats. And cages appeared capturing the Pretty Cure girls' fairies inside of them. Every girl and the fairies are locked in tight.
"Wha…!? What's going on!?" Inori shouted in fear.
Belle giggled a little, but then she broke out into a loud and evil. "You frilly brats sure fell for it!" The girls and the fairies are shocked to see belle's evil reaction.
Just then, a hatch that leads into the motorboat's cabin opened and out popped out a group of Meany Blots who are evilly smiling at the Pretty Cure team. "Dah! Meany Blots!" Ellen shouted.
"What's the meaning of this!?" Nao screamed.
"I will tell you," Belle said in a sassy tone, "this for getting revenge back at Yellow Desert."
"Yellow Desert?" Nagisa questioned, "What does that have to do—"
"Wait a minute!" Honoka interrupted and shouted. "You don't mean… You're really…"
"That's right!" Belle replied, and she then removed her uniform to reveal…, "It's me! Scribbelle! Gah! Ha! Ha! Ha!" The Pretty Cure team became shocked. "Now that I got you girls trapped, and there's no way for you escape and fight me. You silly gullible girls sure fell for it." Some of the girls became enraged by Scribbelle thinking how foolish they walked into her trap.
Scribbelle turns to Matt Oda with her evil smirk on her face. "I must say mister, how did you know I was a fraud?" Scribbelle asked.
Matt kept his firm look on his face and calmly replies, "It wasn't until right now. Earlier you called Kurumi a young blue rose and Hime a sweet princess. Those are alter ego forms for Milky Rose and Cure Princess. I thought that was coincidence, but after I found Wicka locked in the closet, I remembered one other thing and a big clue that gave yourself away. When we met other people from the previous areas of Spectrum Land, they didn't know who the Pretty Cures are. Like Rusty, Tino, and Dino, the girls told them who they are and showed proof they are the real deal, which is the Wonder Color Case. But in your part, while you were in disguise, when we first met, you suspected the girls that they are the Pretty Cures right off the bat. You said heard the rumor about the Pretty Cures, but how did you know who the girls looked like beforehand? And that's when at this moment I knew who you are. You're Scribbelle."
"Bravo detective work there, mister." Scribbelle said evilly, "Too bad for all of you that these dumb feminine brats fell into my trap."
"Let us go, now!" Kanade demanded.
"Uh, uh, uh…" Scribbelle rejected as she waved her finger back and forth, "No can do. I can't let the heroes of Spectrum Land get in the way and succeed. However, … I can let you go in one condition…" Scribbelle then turned to Matt Oda and pointed. "You sir, give me the Wonder Colors and I'll release your pretty friends."
Matt Oda blinked in surprised to hear Scribbelle's offer. But his face turned to anger and growled at Scribbelle. "Forget it!" Matt replied in little fury, "I rather eat spiders and worms than to hand you over the valuable and powerful orbs of Spectrum Land."
"My, my…" Scribbelle said in a sarcastic tone, "Aggressive words coming from a young man." She then shrugged, "Fine, you can keep those Wonder Colors, but if you do…" Scribbelle evilly smirks and snaps her fingers. Then, all the Meany Blots pulled out a knife and aimed at the Pretty Cure girls and the fairies ready to pierce them. The team became frightened, and Matt became flinched in shock. "You can say goodbye to the wonderful heroes of Spectrum Land… forever." Matt angrily growled but became a little shocked and frightened to see the heroines in a dire situation.
"Don't do it Matt!" Tsubomi shouted to Matt.
"We'll be fine!" Setsuna called out to Matt, "Take the Wonder Colors and get out of here!"
Matt heard the two girls' warnings, but he couldn't bear to see the girls get severely injure by Scribbelle and her henchmen. Matt looked away for a moment, then looked back at Scribbelle with his aggressive look on his face.
"If I give you the Wonder Colors, then you will release them?" Matt asked in an aggressive tone.
"A deal's a deal young man." Scribbelle replied in a mocking tone. "So, what will it be? The Wonder Colors or you're Pretty Cure friends?"
Friends, the one word that clicked Matt's nerve. Matt looked back at the girls who are frightened and shaking their heads telling Matt not to surrender the Wonder Colors. Matt grit his teeth, and then he looked at Coco, Natts, Syrup, Tint, and Wicka who have concern expressions on their faces. Matt closed his eyes and thought should he save the Pretty Cures or make a run for it. After one moment of careful thinking…,
Matt pulled out the Wonder Color Case from his messenger bag and walked towards to Scribbelle.
"Matt don't!" Tint shouted.
"Tint," Matt talked back to her, "I know what I'm doing is not right, but I'm not a Pretty Cure fighter. Without the Pretty Cures on our side, there's no chance we can defeat the enemy. I'm sorry, but I have to."
"No Matt-coco." Coco panicked.
Matt got close to Scribbelle and hands over the case to her. Scribbelle then swiftly swipes the case from Matt's hand.
"You're a sick woman; you know that." Matt mocked her.
"Oh, get used to vile villainy." Scribbelle retorted. She looks away from Matt and stares at the Wonder Color Case. She smirks evilly. "Ooo, King Splat is going to be very pleased."
"Hey," Matt interrupted, "we had a deal, so the girls…?"
"Oh yes…, right…" Scribbelle still smirks as she calmly replied to Matt, "I think they'll be great slaves to the king and me."
"WHAT!?" Matt became furious to be double-crossed by Scribbelle. He was so enraged that he tried to go after her. But the Meany Blots got in Matt's way and stopped him. Matt couldn't do anything with the Blots blocking him. "We had a deal! WE HAD A DEAL!" Some of the girls became a little wary of seeing Matt's huge anger state.
"Let me give you a piece of advice kid," Scribbelle speaks to Matt, "Us villains never keep their promises to good people." Matt grit his teeth hard aggressively.
Some of the Pretty Cure girls became mad after witnessing Scribbelle's betrayal.
"How could you this?" Hibiki said in anger.
"Matt trusted you to spare our lives." Itsuki speaks up loudly, "And you took advantage of his weakness to trick him."
"You're despicable!" Erika screamed.
"Well…, I was going to release you girls," Scribbelle spoke to the girls, "but then I realize you girls will then come back on top again and recover the Wonder Colors. So, to make sure as an insurance, I decided not to let you go." Scribbelle laughed out loud evilly. All the trapped Pretty Cure girls and the fairies became enraged. "Now we've got everything we need my faithful minions. Let's cast off to Pastel Square, where I become the mayor of my new town."
The Meany Blots saluted, and the black humanoid minions started the passenger motorboat. The engine is in full power, and there about to take off. One Meany Blot became the driver of the motorboat as Scribbelle, holding the Wonder Color Case in her left hand, stood up as the captain. "Alright men, forward!" Scribbelle commanded. The Meany Blots saluted. The Pretty Cure team, Matt, and the fairies all panicked as they see Scribbelle and her henchman are about to get away.
Kurumi Mimino stared in shock to see the Blots winning. She then makes a firm look on her face. "I can't let them get away!" Kurumi thought. "Matt put all his trust in us, and I will not let that go to waste." Kurumi closed as she concentrates on her magical energy. "If can… just…" Kurumi focuses her energy hard, until in a few seconds later… Poof!
Kurumi turned herself into the pink fairy of Palmier Kingdom: Milk. With Milk's small body, she is free from the straps and bars of the seat. Milk then dashed and hopped toward Scribbelle with all her might. "Milk-lapi!" Flappy shouted. Scribbelle and the Blots heard Flappy's shout and looked behind to see what it is. Milk is approaching Scribbelle quickly. Scribbelle became surprised, and Milk landed and covered Scribbelle's face.
"Hey! Geff thiff thing off mwe!" Scribbelle shouted with her face covered.
A Meany Blot next to her panicked, but he tries to remove Milk of Scribbelle's face. The Blot's first move is to slap Milk. As the black minion pulled his arm back, Milk spots the Blot's incoming attack as she quickly dodged out of the way. Scribbelle's face is uncovered, but the Blot makes his move and hits her left cheek very hard. Scribbelle felt the intense pain from the Blot's slap, and she fell to the motorboat's floor dropping the case in the process. Milk then grabbed the Wonder Color Case and dashes out of the motorboat. "No! Stop!" Scribbelle shouted. She chased after Milk who is on the edge of the motorboat. But it was too late for Milk quickly jumped off from the boat and headed toward Matt, Wicka, and the other fairies. Matt caught Milk with the Wonder Color Case with it.
The other Pretty Cure girls and the fairies smiled for Milk's successful escape.
"Way to go Milk-kuru." Candy said happily.
"Alright Milk!" Mana shouted gleefully.
Scribbelle got up and becomes extremely mad that a fairy escaped and retrieved back the Wonder Color Case. "How dare you little puffball!" Scribbelle shouted in great anger. Matt and the others heard Scribbelle's scream. She then turned to her minions. "Blots! Get that case back!" The Meany Blots saluted, and they are about to charge forth.
Milk, the other fairies, and Matt became wary of the incoming ambush, but Wicka acted fast. She pulled out a small gray ball from her robe. She then quickly throws the ball toward the ground and away from her and the group. After the ball crash to the ground, a huge black smoke appeared blinding everyone in sight.
"Gah! I can't see!" Scribbelle shouted. The thick smoke spread around in the vicinity for a few moments until it starts to fade away. Once the smoke is cleared away, Scribbelle looked up to see if Matt, Wicka, and the fairies are around the area. To her astonish surprise, the group disappeared. "What the…!? Where did they go!?" The Blots are confused as well. "Find them! Search the area, NOW!" The Blots nodded in response, and every single Meany Blot searched high and low, even inside the cabin, to find Matt and the others. But after a couple of minutes passed, the Blots couldn't find Matt and the others. The Meany Blots reported back to Scribbelle empty-handed. Scribbelle became mad and started to wonder her eyes around where the group is. "Listen here, you little rogues! You can hide for now, but with the Pretty Cures in my grasp, you won't be able to save Spectrum Land by yourselves. If you want to see your precious girls alive again, then bring the Wonder Colors to me in Pastel Square. I'll be waiting for you." With that said, Scribbelle ordered her minions to get back on the passenger motorboat. She commanded a Blot to start the motorboat and cast off down the river.
The moment the motorboat started going down the river a few yards away from the cabin, a secret hatch, hidden in the grass, popped opened and out came Matt, Wicka, and the fairies. Matt and the fairies ran up close to the edge of the river to get a view of the motorboat going away. At the same time, the Pretty Cure girls and the fairies, on the motorboat, turned around to see if Matt and the others are back at the cabin. The girls and the rest of the fairies see Matt in their view.
Megumi shouted to Matt, "Matthew! HELP!"
Matt heard Megumi's voice and continued to watch the kidnapped girls and the other fairies taken away. "Pretty Cure…" he scarily said.
