Before the show….
The screen cuts backstage to Elijah Holiday standing next to Ced, who has his arms folded.
Elijah: "Steel City Showdown was a monumental show filled with all manners of twists & turns! But none more than with Tate remaining the Immortal Marvelous One, AND Holiday Promotions making a breakthrough signing in Rick Washington! Now while I would LOVE to go on-and-on about all of that, we still have some issues looming. One, with the Heavyweight Championship. And two: Madison Palmer Inc. So what better way to kill two birds with one stone than with the Black Leone: CED!"
Ced unfolds his arms and looks at the camera.
Ced: "Tonight, in the main event, I'm gonna make an example out of you, Koji Yoshida! And at your expense, everyone will recognize who the biggest threat in ICW really is! Everyone… especially the Heavyweight Champion!"
Elijah pats Ced on the back and smirks at the camera.
We then cut elsewhere Backstage in the arena as Koji Yoshida, dressed for battle, stands tall with Clayton Palmer & Jade Madison besides him.
Clayton: "Before we start, I just wanted to congratulate Rick Washington on throwing away his career by signing with Elijah Holiday."
Jade: "And don't think we forgot what you did to Will, Tate. For the record, the case doesn't make you a man. Hell, I'm starting to wonder if you're even man enough to carry around such a package or if you signed your nuts off to Elijah as well!"
Clayton: "As for tonight, MPI have a chance at retribution when our Samurai cuts down the Lion, Ced! You think you're gonna make a claim to the Heavyweight Title at Koji's expense!? The man who contended for that very same championship and came within inches of upsetting everyone!? He's not gonna let that slide!"
Koji lifts his head up and glares at the camera.
Koji: "Ced! Elijah! You have no HONOR! No RESPECT! Tonight, we will do BATTLE! No MPI! No Holiday Promotions! And you will taste the blade of The Ronin!"
Koji removes his elbow pads and flexes his arm at the camera as the scene fades…
The screen cuts inside the ICW Arena. About 6,000 people sit and cheer in anticipation for tonight's announced matches. The screen then cuts over to Commentary
Jazz: "Welcome back to a special post-Steel City Showdown edition ICW Training Ground! I am Jazz, here to call all of the action set for tonight! And joining me, once more, is none other than Chris Blade!"
Blade: "Well would you look at this! Here I am, making an effort to be on every show, while our International Champion couldn't even bother to show up to the anniversary!"
Jazz: "Pleasure to have you hear once more!"
Blade: "Happy to be here! I'll admit, the last time I sat in this spot, I was questioning if I even belong here. Now, I'm here to prove a point that regardless of what show, I will always be there!"
Jazz: "And we're always appreciative of that. But before we get into tonight's actions, let's take it over to Hannah in the Media Room!"
The screen opens with Hannah in the Media Room. There was a glass table where she was sitting and a monitor placed behind her.
Hannah: "Welcome back to the ICW Battlefield Warzone Report: Steel City Showdown Edition! I'm here to break down all of the actions & reports from this past week! And we have quite a bit to go over, so let's get into it!"
The monitor displays split images of Rey Aguayo facing Sebastian Flair & Jesus Garza facing Big Van Doser.
One of the major talking points amongst fans and competitors is the ongoing war between La Rebelion and Legacy! On this past Battlefield, we had a pair of bouts with representatives on both sides going one-on-one! Earlier in the night, Sebastian managed to damage Rey's leg enough to sweep a victory from La Rebelion!
Hannah: "But it was the battle of the heavyweights that took the world by storm! Doser made a VERY strong impact in his ICW debut, but Garza showed why he is, pound-for-pound, one of the toughest and strongest wrestlers going by slamming down the War Mastodon and securing a major victory for La Rebelion!"
The monitor displays an image of Brianna Borden helping up her old rival, Carson Michaels.
Hannah: "But the surprises did not stop. Because, to the shock of many, right after that same match, we witnessed the return of former ICW Women's Champion, Brianna Kelly, now going as Brianna Borden. She would take out the current ICW & Women's Champion, Daria St. Leger, and stand alongside old foes Carson Michaels & Angelica Rhodes!"
The monitor displays the staredown at Steel City Showdown between Legacy & The Misfits.
Hannah: "Things would reach a boiling point as Daria & fellow Misfit, Kirsi Halonen, would team up with WFA Women's Champion, La Rebelion member, and Honorary Misfit, Sofia Reynoso to take on this version of Legacy in Carson, Angelica, & Brianna. It was a chaotic match, capped off with a late flurry from Kirsi. Sadly, the teamwork between the three former rivals proved to be too much as Legacy would end up victorious."
The monitor displays Brianna welding a bat and standing over Daria. With the rest of the Misfits along with Sofia handcuffed and made to watch.
Hannah: "But tragedy would strike at the hands of the Misfits, specifically Daria, who would get her arm broken at the hands of Brianna and her baseball bat. All while Angelica & Carson handcuffed the defenseless Misfits & Sofia. There has yet to be any updates on the extent of Daria's injury, but we do have some words from Legacy backstage mere moments after this event."
The feed cuts to a recording backstage from Steel City Showdown. There, Carson, Angelica, & Brianna walked through the curtains.
Angelica: "You see that? You see what the three of us just did to the top two champions? THIS IS LEGACY! THIS IS OUR BUSINESS! PEOPLE LIKE THEM… PEOPLE WHO MOCK WHAT WE DO GETS PUT DOWN AND TOSSED ASIDE!"
Angelica brushes her hair back and walks ahead as Carson stares at the camera.
Carson: "We're done apologizing for being born to wrestling families. We're done being humble to make everyone else feel better. Starting now, the three of us are about to set this division straight. Whether anyone likes it or not! And shootout to the boys: Christopher, Sebastian, Doser. Tonight, we sent a message."
Carson walks up ahead, leaving Brianna to look at the camera. And without saying a word, she lifts her bat and knocks the camera to the ground….
We cut back over to Commentary.
Blade: "I still remember seeing Legacy showing up not too long ago. And I felt they were going to cause problems, especially for La Rebelion. I can't help but think it has to end soon or else the war will get too out of hand."
Jazz: "Couldn't agree with you more. Hopefully Daria gets well, too. It would be a shame if she'd have to relinquish her title because of Legacy. We'll keep an eye on those developments later. Let's get on to the action!"
The arena goes dark as Rats! (by Ghost B. C.) plays. Then when the main score kicks in, a lone red spotlight casts upon a hooded figure standing in the center. They were wearing a flashy black hooded jacket along with a blood-stained towel clipped to the back. The person looks up, pulls their hood back, and poses with his arms out. The lights come back on, revealing a man with fair skinned, tall and lean scarred body with visible muscle mass, light blue eyes, and a mop of black hair. The guy is wearing black tights with red spots & with exposed bone, black boots with red laces, and one fingerless glove on his right hand. He heads to the ring, slides in, and points to the crowd yelling "ICHIBAN, BABY!"
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Gothenburg, Sweden, standing 6ft tall & weighing 197lbs: 'The Dissector' FELIX SAMMET!"
Jazz: "Felix Sammet, a newcomer to ICW but already feels he's the best thing since wheat bread. He describes himself as "Ruthless, merciless, and vicious yet somebody the people can't get enough of. He puts it like this: Sometimes I'll break a chair over someone's back, other times I'll break someone's back!"
Blade: "Just looking at him tells me the only compliments he takes are the ones in his head. But I'm all about opportunities and first impressions, so let's see what he's got. I'm sure he'll-"
The Truth (by Beanie Sigel) plays, causing the crowd to come alive. Out walks Jaden Sennoa as he marches straight to the ring and steps inside. He sets his towel aside and paces back & forth, keeping his gaze on a smirking Felix.
"Introducing his opponent, from Kona, Hawaii, standing 6'4" & weighing in at 256 lbs: 'The Kona Crusher' JADEN SENNOA!"
Blade: "...I'm sure he'll have a quick and painless death by Sennoa."
Jazz: "Well, Felix did say he's the most hardcore technical wrestler going, so maybe that'll come in handy against a force like The Kona Crusher."
The bell rings with both men slowly approaching each other, fists raised. Felix throws a quick jab, but Jaden blocks it. They continue to circle, this time with Jaden throwing some quick punches. But Felix ducks them and keeps his guard up. Felix grew a little confident and threw out several more jabs. But Jaden charges at him and tackles Felix against the corner. Felix sweeps the ankles and tries to take Jaden down to the mat. He succeeds, then attempts a Guillotine Choke. But Jaden pushes his head out of the hold and tries to beat his face in. Felix grabs the arm and tries for a Triangle Choke! Jaden pushes the legs aside… then wraps the legs and puts in the Kona Clutch (Rear Naked Choke)!
Jazz: "There it is! The Kona Clutch!"
Blade: "Felix is trapped! He better come up with something and FAST!"
The crowd gets excited, but Felix reacts by grabbing the rope for dear life. Jaden lets him go and crawls back. Felix slides out to gather himself.
Blade: "That in-ring awareness saved his life. Because if he was even a centimeter too far from the ropes, Sammet is going to sleep."
Jazz: "A stiff opening moment to this matchup. And now Felix has to regroup and figure out what he can actually do against this beast of a man."
Felix rubs his neck while coughing. After gathering himself, he climbs back in the ring. He gets ready to lock up, as does Jaden. They approach- Felix ducks behind and looks for a Snap German Suplex!...Except he can't lift Sennoa off his feet! Jaden stands there stoic as the crowd laughs. But the tone shifts as Jaden slips down, slides between the legs like a cat, and goes for the Kona Clutch again! Felix immediately reaches out and grabs the ropes! Jaden lets him go as Felix rubs his neck in annoyance. He then pushes Sennoa away! The crowd gasps as Jaden just looks at him. And just when you thought it wouldn't get any worse… Sammet makes the conscious decision to SLAP "The Kona Crusher" across the face!
Jazz: "Oh… Oh no no no."
Blade: "Felix, my guy, you really shouldn't have done that…"
Jaden closes his eyes. The crowd tells Felix "Jaden's gonna kill you!" Felix gives a cocky smirk and berates him…. until Sennoa looks back up! And all Felix could see was rage & pure destruction! Felix starts to beg for mercy and sticks out his hand to shake. Jaden takes the hand… Then yanks him into From Knee 2 Knockout (FK2K) (Front Judo Takedown into a Knee Strike)! Felix was folded, and Jaden attacked with clubbering blows to the head over & over again! Each blow sends Felix unconscious! But Jaden wanted to make a statement! He grabs "The Dissector" and locks in the Kona Clutch! Felix's face turns purple as he lays there motionless! The ref immediately calls for the bell!
"Here's your winner by Referee Stoppage: JADEN SENNOA!"
Jazz: "Welp. It is all over just like that!"
Blade: "I can't even explain how terrible of a decision it was for Felix to slap Jaden. Because, while it was swift, it became a VERY painful end for Sammet."
Jaden lets Felix go and holds his arms up in victory. He looks down at the passed out victims and just leaves. The referee helps Felix, who stumbles around… and starts cheering? He asks the ref if he won since he's still in the ring. The ref answered that he stopped the match. And he tries to tell him he got choked out, but Felix moves him away and stumbles out of the ring, celebrating as if he won the match. As he backs away, he starts taunting the confused crowd, saying how strong and tough he is to win without even remembering… All while wobbling back & forth up the ramp. He turns and poses again, screaming "ICHIBAN, BABY!" Sadly for him, what he didn't see is Jaden walking back out to the stage behind him.
Jazz: "This guy… he has to be delusional, right?"
Blade: "Delusional or concussed, Felix is in big trouble once he turns around!"
And as Felix does turn around, he looks Jaden in the face and freezes. Jaden just looks at him annoyed, kicks him in the gut, and BLASTS him with the Tidal Wave (Pumphandle Death Valley Driver) on the stage! The crowd pops as Sennoa looks down at Felix & puts up the Shaka!
Jazz: "A painful end for a rough night for Felix. But a nice start to tonight's show!"
Blade: "Jaden is a monster now that I've seen him up close. Whatever he does next, I guarantee you he's leaving behind a trail of bodies."
Jazz: "Let's switch gears now and turn it back over to Hannah!"
We cut back to Hannah in the Media Room.
Hannah: "Welcome back to the Battlefield Warzone Report! We recently recapped major moments in the ongoing war between La Rebelion & Legacy. But they weren't the only faction at odds with each other."
The monitor shows Trey Gold against Jason Sabre plus Tate Williams face-to-face versus Will Ralston.
Hannah: "Firstly, it's the battle between Madison Palmer Inc. and Holiday Promotions. MPI has looked towards bringing in Jason Sabre, with… varying results, while Holiday Promotions suffered a minor setback as their latest signee fell to The Ace. But it was at Steel City Showdown where this feud went to another level. Firstly, with Tate Williams retaining his Immortal Opportunity over former Heavyweight Champion, Will Ralston."
The monitor shows Rick Washington standing over the bodies of Will & Asher Darma.
Hannah: "But the real moment came when, moments after, we watched Rick Washington suddenly attack Asher Darma and sign with Holiday Promotions! Tonight, the battles between both sides continue as Ced is set to face Koji Yoshida in our main event!"
The monitor shows an image of Ayako Suzuki making her ICW debut by choking out Freddy Escobar as CJ Hawk kicks Detrick Cyrus in the face.
Hannah: "Moving on, the personal rivalry between Bōryoku La Familia took a new turn. First, with the arrival of Katashi's own cousin & daughter of Minoru Suzuki in Ayako Suzuki. And what an impact she made in her arrival, laying out Freddy, Detrick, and Mateo."
The monitor shows the debut of Alexis Guerrero standing alongside her brother, Mateo, & the rest of La Familia, as Bōryoku helps CJ to the back.
Hannah: "This would lead to Steel City Showdown and the arrival of Mateo's sister, Freddy & Detrick's cousin: Alexis Guerrero. In an Eight Person Tag Team War, it would be Mateo who would prove the difference maker as he would take one of the tag titles and hit CJ Hawk with it, knocking him out and giving Detrick the win for La Familia. Here's the reaction from La Familia moments after their victory."
The feed cuts to a recording backstage from Steel City Showdown. It shows Mateo cheering and high fiving his sister as Freddy follows along.
Mateo: "¡Ahora de eso estoy hablando! That's what La Familia is all about! Bōryoku thought they could walk over us!? Tonight, we showed how strong our family bond is! And speaking of family, lemme introduce mi hermana, Alexis Guerrero!"
Alexis: "Aye Ayako! You wanna put your hands on my brothers?! ¿MI FAMILIA? You got me twisted! You and me… We ain't done! We ain't done yet! I'm coming for your ass! Watch your back!"
Freddy: "Matter of fact, all four of you better watch-"
Detrick: "MATEO!"
From behind, Detrick storms up and got in Mateo's face. And he was PISSED!"
Detrick: "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!? What the hell is WRONG with you?! That's NOT how I wanted to win tonight! I don't do that! I've TOLD you this many times!"
Mateo: "It's fine! We won! Who cares how it happend, you finally pinned CJ! They've been jumping us and leaving us laying too many times, and now we finally fought back-"
Detrick: "I DON'T WANT TO CHEAT! I KEEP TELLING YOU THAT I DON'T DO THINGS THAT WAY!"
Freddy & Alexis finally stepped in. Freddy held Detrick back while Alexis stood between him & Mateo. Freddy tries to calm his brother down as Alexis spoke up.
Alexis: "You two need to relax. What's done is done. We won. But we ain't done with Bōryoku. Not til you guys get the tag titles."
Alexis walks off. followed by Mateo. Detrick sighs and paces while Freddy stands there.
Freddy: "She's right. We're not done with Katashi or CJ. And I get you wanna do this the right way. But sometimes… we gotta do what we gotta do. And this is one of those times."
Freddy pats Detrick on the shoulder and walks off. Detrick watches them leave as the scene fades…
We cut back over to Commentary.
Jazz: "Despite a major win back in Pittsburgh, all seems to not be well in La Familia. Some want to live up to the family's 'Lie. Cheat. Steal.' mindset, yet Detrick wants to leave that in the past and do things the right way."
Blade: "I'm with Detrick on this one. Don't get me wrong, it WORKED for the Guerreros in the past. But no one wants to be remembered for only doing bad things, and he wants to shine a more positive light on himself and his family. Though I do understand Mateo's mindset of taking the fight back to Bōryoku. I'd do the same if CJ did all those things to me like he did to La Familia."
Jazz: "We'll have to wait & see what the future holds for both sides. For now, let's move on to our next match."
The arena turns dark as 7 Rings (by Ariana Grande) plays. A lone spotlight shines on to the stage as Katarina struts out with her cocky smile. She struts down the ramp, drinking in the sea of boos, then goes around to the left side of the ring and hop up on the apron. Stepping through the middle rope, she climbs the turnbuckle and poses.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: KATARINA LOVE!"
Jazz: "The last time we saw Katarina, she attacked Spring Tigress out of frustration. Why? Lack of attention and spotlight."
Blade: "I've seen Katarina for years, and it's the same thing every time. If it isn't about her, she'll make it about her one way or another."
Don't Drag Me Down (by Social Distortion) plays, and out runs a very lean & petite green eyed Caucasian woman, aggressively and energetically bobbing her dark blue hair to the song. She's wearing black Ruby Riott style tights and top with blue accents, a leather jacket with blue accents, and dark blue wraparound sunglasses.
"Introducing her opponent, from Edinburgh, Scotland: 'Rocking!' ROBYN! CREED!"
As Robyn slides in the ring, she gets kicked in the face by Katarina! She Stomps down on Robyn before taking her glasses and breaking them!
Jazz: "Oh come on! Breaking the glasses? That was so unnecessary!"
Blade: "Yep. That's still the same Katarina I remember."
The referee starts the match as Katarina throws Robyn to the corner. She hits several Back Elbows to the side of the head. Robyn slumps down as Katarina throws insults at the booing fans. The Irish Whip follows… and Robyn runs up the corner. She backflips over Katarina and runs the ropes. Robyn ducks her, keeps running, and hits a Handspring Back Elbow. Katarina quickly slides out as Robyn kicks up! She rolls out and grabs Katarina's head. Robyn then slams her head over the apron repeatedly! All while headbanging in sync. After about 10 slams, Robyn rolls her back in then climbs up. As Katarina stumbles up, she leaps off and hits a Tornado DDT! Robyn hooks the legs.
1!
…
2! KICKOUT!
Jazz: "Robyn Creed weathered the early storm and is bringing her own form of intensity and fearlessness to Katarina."
Blade: "Her style looks to be all offense, all intensity, and little time to slow down."
Robyn scoops up Katarina and hits a loud overhand Chop. Katarina falls against the ropes. Robyn whips her across and attempts the Back Body Drop. But Katarina counters with a Punt to the face. She then whips Robyn across, who goes off the rebound for a Running Crossbody. But she gets caught in mid air! Katarina smirks then Gorilla Presses her high above! Katarina struts her stuff around the ring before tossing Robyn all the way across! Robyn lays there in pain. But Katarina does not care as she grabs her by the hair and lifts her face-to-face. She mockingly taps her across the cheek… then punches her across the face! Robyn goes down, but Katarina drags her back up and hits a Bridging Fisherman Suplex
1!
….
2!
..KICKOUT!
Jazz: "Katarina is showing off her strength and methodical approach."
Blade: "She better keep her focus on her opponent instead of the spotlight."
Katarina straightens her prone opponent then stomps on her opponent. She then runs and attempts a Springboard Moonsault. And she lands down… right on Robyn's knees! Love stumbles up, clutching her gut. At the same time, Robyn grabs her and hits the Snap Dragon Suplex! This sends Katarina rolling to the corner. Robyn gets up, runs, and hits the Double Knees to the face! She then rolls Katarina to canvas, climbs up, and crashes down with the Trust Fall! Robyn rolls back on her knees and sticks out her tongue with the devil horn. She gets up and starts stomping & headbanging. Katarina crawls up. Robyn attempts her Robyn's Cry (Rolling Thunder DDT)! But Katarina catches her, pushes her back, and BOOTS her in the face! Katarina was pissed now. She then grabs both of Robyn's legs and puts her in the Liontamer! Robyn tries to fight out, but Katarina presses her knee on the spine! The pain became too much, and Robyn finally submits.
"Here is your winner by submission: KATARINA LOVE!"
Katarina doesn't let go until the ref tries to pull her away. She finally lets go and brushes her hands clean, a satisfied smirk written on her face.
Jazz: "Statement made by Katarina here tonight. She wants to be the center of attention, and will run through any woman who gets in her way."
Blade: "All that ego, yet she does have the talents to back it up. Personally, it's only a matter of time before she reaches the top again."
Jazz: "Right now, let's check back in with Hannah!"
We cut back to Hannah in the Media Room.
Hannah: "Welcome back to the Battlefield Warzone Report. With so much going on within ICW, it doesn't leave a lot of time to go over everything. So instead, we're gonna simply touch bases on some notable moments in Rapid Fire!"
The monitor shows "RAPID FIRE" followed by an image of Raptor Reigns in the ring and staring at Jacob Uso.
Hannah: "Back on Steel City Showdown, we saw an emotional face-to-face between cousins Raptor Reigns & Jacob Uso. There, we were given insight on their history with each other and Raptor's apology. But what we got instead was a challenge by Jacob for a fight. Raptor declined, however, stating he won't fight his family. Even as Jacob attacked first, Raptor still refused to attack back!"
The image then shows Chris Blade backstage being interviewed.
Hannah: "From the Demolition to the International, we switch over to Chris Blade's attempt to call out International Champion, Chris Owens. But with every passing day, there has yet to be a response from Owens, which has brought nothing but ire to the former champion. Hopefully we'll get an answer soon on whether the Champion accepts or not."
The monitor then changes to an image of Furno Moxley holding up the Demolition title over the body of Dylan Torres
Hannah: "Finally, back on Battlefield, Furno Moxley opened the door for any competitor to face him for the title in a Demolition Open Challenge. This was accepted by Gen M's Dylan Torres, but ultimately fell to the champion in Pittsburgh. Now we have some words from Moxley moments after his title match! With some… interesting appearances."
The feed cuts to a recording backstage from Steel City Showdown. We see Furno sitting on some crates, covered in scars and blood, and holding the Demolition Title.
Furno: "It's easy to do what the other champions do: stay at home… rarely show up… make people fight for the right to challenge… that ain't me. I ain't built like that. I'm here to fight anyone and everyone." He holds up the Demolition Title. "This title was made with my blood and the blood of every person who challenged for this. I don't rest on my morals. Anyone else wants a crack at me for the soul of ICW, I'm not hard to find."
Furno slowly gets up. But something soon catches his eye. He takes his title and walks off-screen. The camera pans over to see Furno stopping Raptor Reigns from walking away.
Furno: "Hey! You good, man? How come you didn't punch him back?"
Raptor: "It's none of your business."
Furno: "Look, man. Family or not, I know you to where if anyone did that to you, you'd leave them with a cracked skull! The Raptor I know would not let this slide!"
Raptor: He pulls his shoulder away and looks Furno in the eye.
Raptor: "I'm gonna say this one time. I'm not going to hurt my family. So stay out of this… And stay out of my business."
With that, Raptor walks off as Furno stands there. He soon turns around and sees William Dawkins standing there with a smirk.
William: "Good evening, sir. My name is William Dawkins. And I-"
Furno: "Good for you. I don't give a shit."
With that, Furno walks off. Dawkins stands there, his smirk fading as the scene goes black.
We cut back over to Commentary
Jazz: "A tense moment between Furno and Raptor, especially after the emotional moment Raptor had with his once close cousin, Jacob. Though with William Dawkins being there… I don't know what any of this has to do with him."
Blade: "Sorry to switch subjects, but I want to mention the situation between me and Owens. And I want everyone to hear me when I say this."
Chris Blade takes his headset off, grabs a mic, and slides in the ring.
Blade: "This may be a bit impromptu, but I have something to say about Wrestling's supposed Worst Nightmare! And that's the fact that he's a champion that doesn't give a damn the title he holds! He has his goons do stuff for him, he'll throw a hissy fit when he doesn't have his title, and when he does… He tucks his tail and leaves. Yeah, I relinquished that International Title when I thought I did all I could do to make it better. But now, that title needs me more than ever! It needs someone to show up to every show and give the people our passion, our willpower, and our drive to be the best wrestler! Owens, not only are you a coward, but you're a disgrace to that championship the longer you stay away from here! And the moment you get back, I'm bringing that championship back to where it belongs! On my shoulder and in the hands of the people!"
The crowd cheers for Blade… until Malagueña Salerosa (by Avenged Sevenfold) plays. This catches Blade off-guard as Adrian Lord walks out alongside Katie Striker. Blade watches them take their sweet time getting to the ring. They calmly enter the ring as Adrian & Chris stare eye-to-eye. Katie smirks and steps back, letting Lord pace around Blade, not taking his gaze off of him. Adrian then stands in front of Chris, and they stare at each other. Blade looks on edge as Lord tells him Tranquillo… and offers a handshake. Blade looks at it cautiously before accepting the offer. Adrian then gets close to his ear and simply says "Remember our deal. I'm rooting for you."
With that, Adrian lets Chris go and exits the ring. Katie smiles at Chris and leaves as well. Blade watches on as Lord raises his fist with his eye open. Once they turn and walk to the back, Chris leaves the ring and returns to commentary.
Jazz: "Man, Chris. What was that all about? What did Adrian Lord want?"
Blade: "...He wants the same thing I want. But he knows I have to face Owens and beat him for it. And that's exactly what I plan to do when the time comes. But I've stalled this show for long enough."
Jazz: "Yes, you're right. Let's go right to our next match!"
The lights dim as (DOA by Foo Fighters) plays with an orange light show. Out walks Tyler Lockheed followed by Amazing Ramsey, who walks out backwards then spins around and poses. The duo slides in and stands together in the ring.
"The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall! Introducing first: the team of TYLER LOCKHEED & THE AMAZING RAMSEY!"
Jazz: "Tyler Lockheed & The Amazing Ramsey. Two familiar faces within Training Ground who are still trying to find their way. They hope to combine their styles and look for success within the tag team division."
Blade: "I don't blame them for doing that. Sometimes a change of scenery is good to find where you fit in. Depending on how this match goes, this could be the start of something exciting."
The moments the instrumentals to Language is Fatal (by Jedi Mind Tricks) plays, the lights all go dark. The stage lights turned a bright white, revealing the silhouettes of Alexander Magnus & Rodri Montoya. After about ten seconds, the lights return to normal and the two march down to the ring. They climb on the apron, wipe their feet, and step between the ropes. They then pose with their hands behind their backs.
"Introducing their opponents, at a total combined weight of 520lbs: 'Alexander Magnus & Rodri Montoya' SOVEREIGNTY!"
Jazz: "Oh dear… talk about a tough ask for your first tag team match. And that's not including how pissed off they look right now."
Blade: "That may be true, but no wrestler should ever expect an easy win. They are beatable. It's just about finding their weakness and using that against Sovereignty."
Tyler Lockheed & Alexander Magnus start as the bell rings- Magnus runs up and BLASTS Tyler across the face with an European Uppercut! He drags Tyler to his team's corner and Chops him repeatedly! He continues to chop until Tyler's chest turns a deep red! Rodri tags himself in. Tyler steps aside, and Rodri BASHES him with a Chop so vicious he flies up and crashes back in the corner. Ramsey leaps in and charges at Rodri… who SWATS him down with one Chop! Alexander re-enters the ring and grabs Ramsey. He picks him up and hits the Catch Point (Gotch-Style Tombstone Piledriver). Rodri drags up Lockheed and hits The 3 Points (Muscle Buster)! But he wasn't finished. Rodri tells Alexander to climb up before lifting Tyler on the shoulders. Magnus climbs up, and he hits a Diving European Uppercut into Rodri's Powerbomb, crashing Tyler right on Ramsey! Montoya then makes the cover.

"Here are your winners: SOVEREIGNTY!"
Magnus & Rodri stand over Ramsey & Tyler's bodies, and they pose with their arms behind their backs.
Jazz: "So much for finding their weaknesses. Sovereignty looks much stronger than ever!"
Blade: "Nothing is more powerful and damaging as a well-placed Chop. Safe to say they are hungrier than ever to get back to those tag championships."
Jazz: "Let's take it back to Hannah with the last of our reports!"
We cut back to Hannah in the Media Room.
Hannah: "Welcome back to the Battlefield Warzone Report! We've covered many things so far tonight, but none had more stakes and more anticipation than the Heavyweight Title bout between Jason Sabre & champion Mark Jacobs."
The monitor displays two images: one being Mark's interview interrupted by Elijah Holiday, and the other being Jason's interview interrupted by Ava Knight.
Hannah: "And that isn't just the reaction from the public, this has also garnered major attention from the locker rooms as well, some of which have made their own claims for the championship. From Revolution to Holiday Promotions, Bōryoku to an extent… and even Despair himself: Azriel."
The monitor then showed an image of Mark and Sabre throwing punches in the ring.
Hannah: "With that, all eyes were on Steel City Showdown, where Mark and Jason would finally come to blows. And did they ever! Many fans and spectators were left on the edge of their seats as both men nearly came away with the title!"
The monitor then shows DJ Kingston sitting on a chair, holding the title, as Mark & Jason lay knocked out.
Hannah: "And just when we were a Final Blow away from a new Heavyweight Champion, we were greeted by none other than DJ Kingston who yanked the official out of the ring and attacked his bitter rival. And just when everyone thought it would be two against one, DJ made his true intention known by attacking Mark and holding the Heavyweight Title! Now ICW is left with more questions than answers on the future of the Championship. But we do have a video of a unique, but brief exchange, moments after DJ's return with none other than Mr. Evan Neal."
The feed cuts to a recording backstage from Steel City Showdown. DJ Kingston walked out from the stage, with Evan Neal following in a panicked state.
Neal: "D! J! Kingston!"
He runs up and stands in DJ's way.
Neal: "Excuse my French, but what… the… HELL were you doing!? I needed tonight to go perfectly! And you-"
DJ: "I should be the rightful contender… No, the rightful Champion. And I'm not letting anyone else take what should be mine. Not Sabre… not Mark… Nobody."
With that, DJ walks past him. The scene fades with Neal standing there, grabbing his hair and silently losing his mind…
We cut back over to Commentary.
Jazz: "First off, what a match Mark & Jason had. Watching as a fan, it was phenomenal. But thanks to that piece of crap DJ Kingston, we're now left with a mess of a title scene."
Blade: "Having been in the ring with Sabre in the past & Jacobs recently, I knew they were gonna tear the house down looking to be Heavyweight Champion. But yeah, DJ Kingston looks to be even more of a shithead than ever before. But I'm just like everyone else. I'm wondering what the future holds for that championship."
Jazz: "Well this brings us right to our main event, set to take place right now!"
The lights in the arena flash around in a different array of colors as the instrumental to Icon (by Jaden Smith) plays to a chorus of boos. Smoke comes up onto the stage as Ced walks out alone, staring down at the ground. After a few seconds, he looks up and spits water out in a mist as he then makes his way down the ramp. Once he reaches ringside, Ced stops to take a look at the booing crowd before making his way to the steps. Walking up to the steps, he entered the ring and made his way to the corner. He climbed up and flexed with his arms out.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, representing Holiday Promotions, from Charlotte, North Carolina, standing 6'3" & weighing 265 lbs: 'The Black Leone' CED!"
Jazz: "Ced may have his eyes on the Heavyweight Title, but the ongoing struggles between MPI & Holiday Promotions is reaching a boiling point. Now, Ced is set to not only bring Holiday Promotions a big win, but make a claim to the Title."
Blade: "Ced's been around the business just as long as me and Sabre. He's tasted that glory, and I can tell he's desperate to taste that glory again. Even more than the battle going on between MPI & Holiday Promotions."
As Ced paces in the ring, Hadou (by Kazsin) plays to a good pop. Koji walks out, alone as well, and with a serious look on his face. He looks around at the crowd before walking to the ring. He bows at ringside before walking up and entering the ring. He stares down Ced while removing his coat.
"Introducing his opponent, representing Madison Palmer Inc., from Yokohama, Japan, standing 6'3" & weighing in at 239 lbs: 'The Ronin' KOJI YOSHIDA!"
Jazz: "It's been a minute since we've seen Koji wrestle in singles competition. But he's been sent out alone to face off against Ced."
Blade: "It's surprising that both Ced and Koji are fighting alone. I respect that, nowhere to hide behind. Just a test of will to see who's left standing."
The two stare down as the bell rings. They approach and lock up. Ced soon shoves Koji across the ring. Koji looks up to see Ced flexing a bit before brushing him off. Koji doesn't take too kindly to this as he gets up. They lock up again as Ced starts pushing him back. But this time, Koji stood his ground! He reels back and sends Ced across the ring! The crowd cheers as Ced looks up in disbelief! He sees Koji doing the Samurai pose… even flexing his pecs! This nearly sends Ced off the rails as he gets up and shoves Koji. Koji brushes his hair back… then shoves Ced! Both men went nose-to-nose then began trading blows! Ced throws out Forearms while Koji hits multiple chops! He starts leveling Ced with multiple Jabs & Backhand Chops! He goes for the Irish Whip, but Ced counterwhips to the opposite corner. Ced runs but gets booted away. Ced stumbles back, and Koji goes for a Shoulder Tackle. But Ced stays standing. Koji runs off the ropes and throws another one, but Ced doesn't go down! Koji runs again, but this time Ced runs behind him. And when Koji turns around, Ced takes him down with a Shoulder Tackle of his own! But Ced turns him forward and delivers a LOUD Knife Edge Chop. Ced whips Koji off the ropes and attempts the Big Boot, but Koji ducks it and keeps running. Ced quickly attempts a Clothesline, but Koji ducks that, still running! Ced turns and finally goes down from a Shoulder Block! Ced pulls himself up against the ropes, and Koji runs & clotheslines him over to the floor!
Jazz: "And Koji knocks Ced right out of the ring! The Modern Day Samurai is bringing the fight here against Ced!"
Blade: "Koji isn't backing down! And Ced is left reeling!"
The crowd comes alive for "The Ronin." Ced falls against the barricade while barely standing. Koji rolls out and goes after him again. Koji beats his fists against him until Ced knees his gut again. He goes to whip Koji, but Koji counters and sends Ced running into the barricade! Before he could even recover, Koji runs over and kicks Ced over & into the crowd! Ced tries to crawl, but Koji climbs over after him! He grabs Ced and starts beating him all around the crowd! The fans cheer as Koji beats up Ced all around the arena! The ref even stops the count to run out & chase them down. Ced tries to get away, but it was to no avail as Koji chases him down and continues his attack! He even grabs Ced and tosses him into the railings, causing Ced to fall over! Koji even grabs a trash can and dumps the garbage over him to major laughs. Ced was disgusted, but he was grabbed and tossed against the barricade. Koji charges at him, but Ced counters with a Back Body Drops back over to ringside! As Koji pulls himself up, clutching his back, Ced leaps on the barricade and hits a Flying Clothesline!
Jazz: "Good lord! Look at the height Ced just took! Guys his size shouldn't be able to fly like that!"
Blade: "Ced is deceptively athletic for his size. I've been on the receiving end of his agility and speed. And it catches me off-guard nearly all the time."
Ced rubs his jaw and brushes off the bits of trash still on him. He grabs Koji and lifts him up vertically. He keeps Koji in the air for several seconds, showing off his raw strength. Ced then slams him down on the apron with the Standing Vertical Suplex. Koji winces in pain as Ced rolls him back in. Slides back in himself, Ced steps back against the ropes, runs off, and hits a Leaping Knee Drop to Koji. "The Black Leone" drags him back up and swiftly Chops him across the chest! Koji nearly falls over, but Ced scoops up and hits a Running Powerslam! Ced makes the cover.
