Chapter 2: The Loner and the Fairies

Earlier a week ago.

4/21 15:30 Sakurami Middle School Classroom

A young teenage boy was in his classroom writing on his cell phone when the monitor dismissed the class. The young boy then went to the next class.

Nearby, some middle school boys were chatting about finding a player for their basketball team. " The Court is open, right?"

"Yeah, but it's a shame we can't find someone."

"Then we should someone it's not like it's hard."

One of them looked around and saw the boy wearing a hat. "Amano, you game?" His classmate put his hand on his shoulder. "Forget it, he's always carrying that cellphone with him."

"So, a game is it?"

"No, he's writing a diary."

Yuki left the classroom without responding to the boys. Three girls were chatting until the room teacher approached them. "Ms. Gasai, I would like you to deliver these to the faculty lounge on your way out."

"Happy to sir, I'd- The teacher interrupted her. "I would like to see you in the library later on too."

The teenage boy walked home alone while still writing on his cell phone. "I'm the person that's a bystander, back in elementary school, the other kids used to invite me to play with them. They guess they still until they know what I'm loner." He stopped a pebble that was on the sidewalk. "I'll take the right for today, either way, I've been on my own."

He arrived at his house and went to his bedroom sitting on his bed and taking off his jacket. He held a cover over himself. "Don't get me wrong, I have friends, they're imaginary."

"Deus..."

He found himself in a realm talking to the giant machine-like entity. "Oh Yukiteru, please wait a moment."

"Sounds like someone has a lot on their plate," Yukiteru bluntly said.

"You could say that the world will be turning into an exciting place and we'll be getting some visitors in town."

"New visitors...new students for the middle school I go to?" The boy guessed.

"Perhaps...but in due time, as for the plan I have in mind, it'll come in due time."

"Is it a war or something?" Yukiteru asked a little concerned.

"Violence is something you disapprove of, well, like I said, everything will be revealed in due time."

"Deus, the God of Time and Space. He controls all time and space, he could be a god himself. He's someone that must not be taken lightly...or else something might happen." He flipped open his cell phone.

"Again with the diary..." A little munchkin girl was eating corn on the cob. "You sure have many things to write down." She was crawling until she was next to him while chewing on the corn.

"I like to write down everything I see like what you're eating on my bed," Yukiteru said a little annoyed.

"Then write this down," The little munchkin girl spit out a corn kebble. "Very funny..." Yukiteru said a little more annoyed.

"Still, it doesn't make any difference at all?" Muru Muru asked.

"That's right, my diary has no purpose, I haven't got much to say about it," Yukiteru said as he found himself in his bedroom.

"Are you lonely?" DEUS's voice asked.

"Not really..." Yukiteru replied.

"I see, though, you had the opportunity to change your situation, what would you do?" No response came from the teenage boy. "Suppose I give you the power to foresee me the future."

A vibration sound was heard from Yukiteru's phone. "Who is texting?" He flipped open his cell phone. "Consider it my gift to you."

Yukiteru opened the text with an emotionless smile. "Out with it, what are you plotting?"

"In due time, but, I can say this, the new visitors will be here sometime tonight. But, they'll somewhere else." DEUS replied.

Yukiteru felt somewhat intrigued. "Is that so, well, will I get to meet them?"

DEUS was a little surprised. "Oh, you sound interested in meeting them." The boy chuckled. "Not sure, but, I'll still be a bystander though."

"We shall see..." DEUS said.

It was nightfall.

Fairy Tail and their friends landed in a random street. "Where are we?" Gajeel asked.

"Frosch, Lector, Lily, fly high so you can see." Sting ordered.

"You too, Carla," Wendy added.

The four exceeds flew up cautiously, they looked around.

Lector looked carefully at the surroundings. "Look like a town, there are a lot of buildings."

"Yeah, though, it's still dark." Lily agreed.

"Quite creepy." Wendy and Cheila whimpered comically.

"I think so too," Frosch commented.

Carla agreed but one thing that did make her uneasy "Still, we might have to be careful, who knows if any demons will try to ambush us."

Hibiki focused his sense of magic in the air. "No magic, we can assume that this world has no magic to restore our magic power."

Jenny took out a small bag. "Good thing that Fujiko packed us some potions to help recharge our magic power."

Akame, Leone, and Chelsea used their aura sensor to track down enemies that were lurking. "My aura sensor can't detect anyone nearby."

"Yeah, though, it is in the middle of the night," Chelsea said observing the sky.

"Yeah, no doubt that anyone is going to be up this early." Leone agreed.

Green cautiously looked around. He felt a presence and turned around at a nearby building. "Who goes there?" He quickly dashed toward where he felt the presence and Akame followed.

Someone in a dark jacket and goggles ran away in a flash. Akame and Green went off him until they quickly passed the building and faintly sensed a presence from the darkness which was the alleyway.

"Who goes there?" Akame asked cautiously.

"Hold it!" A woman sobbed. "I'm innocent, that man tried to kill me!"

Akame realized who the frightened woman was referring to. "A man...was she talking about the cloaked figure that just dashed from this spot?"

"Akame, Green, what's going on?" Gajeel asked as he looked in the direction.

"Your friends...saved me..." The woman sobbed as she fell on her knees and cried.

"Let's get her somewhere safe, do you have a phone or something?" Levy asked comforting the traumatized girl.

Sting and Rogue caught a whiff of a faint scent and down the alleyway and saw a right corner. "Rogue, you smell that?"

"Yeah, whoever attacked that girl must've run off down this corner,"

Wendy had her eyes narrowed down the pitch-black path. "Same here, whoever tried to attack this girl must have fled,"

Minerva had a bad feeling. "I have a feeling whoever this person attacked will strike again."

Yukino had to agree. "Either way, we must keep a close eye on her until the police arrive."

Two police cars arrived at the scene. The girl explained the attacker but couldn't identify the person who was wearing all black.

Two officers approached Fairy Tail and their group. "You guys, could you come down to the station so we can ask a few questions?" The other group looked a bit concerned which the officer noticed. "Don't worry, the chief won't arrest you since you saved the girl."

"The chief?" Ace thought in question.

Akame saw they had no choice and if they fought back, it would make the situation worse. "Let's go." The others were puzzled.

"She's right, we don't know much about this town let alone its areas, so, we might need their help," Chelsea whispered.

At the Sakurami police department.

"I take that you people saved that woman, right?" The middle-aged man in his 30s was presented before the wizards.

The base of Operations: Sakurami Police Station

"Yes sir," Levy answered nervously.

"I have to admit, I was surprised she's the first victim to have survived," Keijo informed.

"Wait, there's more killings?" Yukino gasped.

"Sadly yes, honestly, the girl is quite lucky." The chief replied. "Anyway, are you people new in town?"

Sting decided to answer that. "Yes sir, we just arrived and we don't know where to go, so, does this city have a motel or something?"

"Yes, Flat Inn, it's around this area," Keijo wrote down the address.

Gajeel had an idea. "Excuse me, old man."

Keigo took offense to that. "Old man, I'm the chief, show some respect kid." The iron dragon slayer scoffed.

"Umm, what he's trying to say..." Levy interrupted before things got a little crazy. "If you need help with this killer, we could help track him down?"

Keigo was unsure about this request. "Well, I'm not sure, technically you need to be an experienced officer, taking this gig isn't a walk in the park."

"That may be true," Green spoke. "Though, as we said, we don't know our way around, so, forming a partnership with the police might be a good opportunity plus we can cover more ground."

Keigo would be lying if that wasn't true. "Well, I'll give you my number to talk over in the morning." He wrote down his cellphone number and gave it to Minvera who took a piece of paper.

Later that night, Four police cars escorted Fairy Tail and their friends to the apartment. One was a police investigator with a brown-haired young male adult. "I have to admit, you guys are strange. Though, it was a miracle that you saved that girl." Riding with his was Wendy, Carla, Yukino, and Cheila.

The base of Operations: Sakurami Police Station.

"Thanks, I guess," Yukino giggled awkwardly.

"Looks like we did a good deed," Cheila whispered.

"Yeah," Wendy smiled brightly.

They arrived at the apartment.

"Here you guys are, talk to you tomorrow."

Fairy Tail and their allies rented six rooms.

The first room had Yukino, Wendy, Carla, and Cheila

The second room had Sting, Rogue, Lector, and Frosch

The third room had Akame and Green

The fourth room had Minerva, Chelsea, Leone, and Kagura

The fifth room had Levy and Jenny

Sixth room Ace, Gajeel, Hibiki, and Lily

They managed to get their stuff unpacked. They each got their communication lacrimas out.

"Looks like we can settle for the night," Sting spoke.

"Yeah, though, we can use these items in the open, it might cause want to attention," Gajeel suggested.

"I suppose we'll have to find a way to buy a cellphone," Levy said.

"Yeah, that could work, that old man Keigo said he'd pay us if we took that guy down," Akame reminded. "Though, I think he met kill him if we need to."

Leone had her thoughts. "Even so, there is something off about that old geezer."

"Chelsea had to agree for once. "Yes, plus we don't know when the demons will strike."

"We can't worry about that now," Ace had his arms crossed. "For now, let's get some rest and we talk in the morning."

They all took a shower and got into bed.

DEUS appeared before them and they were still sleeping in their beds. "It looks like they arrived sooner than I'd expected." He thought. "Well, I'll give them these normal cell phones. I hope they have the brain power to learn how to use them."

The next morning

April 22th

Yukiteru was starting to wake up and check out his cell phone. "What is this?" He sat up and looked closely at his phone's diary entry.

"At 6:59, I hit a double bully this morning."

"7:05, I eat breakfast at my house."

"On the news, I watch the recent murder cases. One victim managed to escape after being overheard by some strangers. The killer might've taken a shortcut to avoid the police."

Yukiteru just realized the events he's reading are what will happen soon. "How could this be today's date...did I sleep text?" What took him by surprise was the news. "I heard about the murder cases, all of them were killed, though, one victim managed to escape. Talk about cutting it close." He suddenly gasped in realization. "These strange people...could be?"

"I'm getting ready for a game and we'll be getting new visitors in town soon."

"No...it's probably just a coincidence." Yukiteru stood up and threw a dart at his bully and hit a double bullseye. "Whoa, dude...nice."

His TV was on about the murder cases while he was getting breakfast ready. "Mom won't be here until next month...probably for the best."

"The murder cases which have happened recently but I guess mercy was prayed on a girl, who escaped her death after some strangers overheard her screaming. The woman returned to her home and for the strangers, they left somewhere to stay. According to the police resources, there's a slight chance that an alliance is going to be formed. Rumor is the killer is somewhere still in Sakurami Street."

Yukiteru was surprised to hear good news for a change. "It looks like mercy has been answered." He began to ponder on the last detail the news guy reported. "Sakurami Street...isn't that near my school."

"The culprit is believed to be hiding near the high school." Yukiteru looked at his cellphone's entry again. "7:45 on my way to school. A rate encounter with Kousaka and Shiraishi."

7:20 AM

Fairy Tail and their allies woke up and noticed their cell phones. "Did you guys order us these cell phones?"

"Let's check them out," Leone said taking her cell phone. "Hmm, it's a bit complicated."

"Guess we should practice for a while before meeting up with the Keigo," Yukino advised.

"Yeah, besides that, we can enter his cellphone number into ours. Though, I suggest we practice first the number," Kagura added.

Sting put the chief's number in his cellphone and pressed the call button. After a few rings, Keigo's voice was heard. "This Chief Keigo Kusuru speaking."

7:45 AM

Yukiteru was walking down the street and saw his two classmates that his diary entry said he was going to have an encounter with. He was speechless to see them. "That's freaky, those guys aren't usually here. They're on the track team so they should be at practice." He looked at his diary entry again. "9:30 Am, pop quiz in Class 2-B."

He was in his class and taking the quiz. "This can't be a coincidence..." He thought tapping his pen on his paper sheet. "Are these answers even right?"

A foot touched his desk. "What's up, Yukiteru?"

"Same as usual, just let me be," Yukiteru replied bluntly.

Kosako got off his desk. "Geez, why do you have to be a suck-up?" Yukiteru flipped open his cell phone. "12:32, Kousaka gives me a hard time at school again."

Later, he was in Home Ec. Room.

"2:05 PM, Satonaka cuts her finger and goes to the nurse." Yukiteru read his entry. "This is insane."

2:30 PM

At the Sakurami Police Station

Gajeel, Levy, Lily, Hibiki, Akame, Chelsea, Green, and Jenny decided to have their meeting with Keigo Kusuru while the others stayed behind.

"Is the woman safe now?" Levy asked slightly concerned.

"Yes, the woman has a few officers to guard her for the time being at her home," Keigo said smoking a cigarette which relieved Levy and the others.

"Anyway, I'll need some extra help. So, since your friends aren't here, I take that you want to help with the police, right?" The chief presumed.

Gajeel nodded his head. "You got old man." Ignoring the reply, the chief chuckled a bit. "Well, then, consider our alliance formed. I'll keep in touch with you guys." He took out a map. "Here take this map, it'll sure come in handy."

"At 4:12 PM, two detective guys were doing a sweep around the school. They're on the serial killer case," Yukiteru read his diary entry. "Can my phone see..."

"That's right, your diary can see the future," DEUS confirmed.

Yukiteru still had doubts that these future events can't be real. "But, I thought you up as God of Time & Space."

The Machina entity gave him a serious stare. "Do you believe that reality and imaginary do mutual exclusion habitats for an entity for a structure like me?"

"He's a god, he lives where he wants," Murumur appeared out of nowhere and gave the teenage boy a pat on his shoulder surprising him.

"However, remember that this diary and its user are one. Meaning if it's destroyed, you forfeit your life." DEUS explained. "Also, the new visitors are in town by the way. Though, where they are, you'll meet them eventually."

Yukiteru kept pondering his thoughts to realize what he had gotten himself into. "This diary will record everything about the coming 90 days. Everything I'm gonna see is already here." He began to think about the new visitors that DEUS mentioned. "Those new people are here, I wonder what they're here for." Just then he got another text.

"8:30 AM, tomorrow, I'll see the news talking about the new alliance that the police department to help with the murder cases." Yukiteru chuckled a bit. "Well, looks the killer will get his butt in jail."

Back at the apartment.

Fairy Tail and their friends were sitting down and having a conversation. 'Anything unusual?" Sting asked.

"Nothing yet, but, our alliance with that old chief guy was formed," Gajeel replied bluntly.

"His name is Keigo Kusuru," Levy corrected.

"Though, I get a feeling that the old man is hiding," Gajeel suspected.

Lily didn't know but he felt something off about the old chief. "Yeah, I can't put my finger on it, but the old man seems off."

Akame agreed. "I sensed his aura, it felt deceiving for some reason."

Chelsea had a bad feeling. "I don't trust the man much, but, I suppose we'll work with him until something happens."

Green had to agree. "Right, we'll have to be on our toes."

Ace had an idea. "Good, we think we should start by looking at the locations that were rumored to be close by. That is the middle school."

"It's settled then," Sting said. "However, who will be doing the patrolling?"

Gajeel had that figured out. "Lily, Levy, Jenny, and Hibiki will be with at the police station so we have many ears on the place." They nodded in return.

"Akame, Leone, Green, Chelsea will roaming the streets by the middle school. Also, Wendy, Cheila, Carla, and Yukino will down the street from the middle school." The others nodded at the iron dragon slayer.

Sting had an idea. "Very well, as for myself, I'll stay around here Lector, Rogue, Frosch, Minerva." His guildmates nodded.

"Lastly Ace and Kagura, you two will take some money to get some food," Ace could almost face fault. "Damn...I'm on shopping duty."

Kagura didn't say a word.

The next day.

Yukiteru was watching the news while having breakfast. "7:25 AM, the police come to make their report about the alliance with some volunteers that'll help with the investigation."

He finally made it to school and scored perfectly well on his examinations. Other students were suspicious of the boy's unexpected genius.

"This guy is an idiot until now."

"This is pisses me off."

"Wanna go beat him up?"

"Let's ambush him here."

Four male students were waiting at the usual routine that Yukiteru did only to find out he never showed up. "Why isn't he here?"

"The little sneaky bastard."

Yukiteru took another routine while looking at his cellphone's diary entry. "As long as I have this, everything will be fine." He had a sudden joyful expression. "Such dumbasses...I can win at life now!"

Akame, Green, Chelsea, and Leone were passing by. "Who was that little cutie?" Leone asked.

"Not sure, his aura felt a little weird," Chelsea answered.

"I doubt that kid is the killer, did you see the joyful expression he was making?" Green mentioned.

Akame didn't say a word but she was sensing a faint power coming from his cell phone.

Later, Wendy was in another street area by the middle school with Carla, and Yukino. "I smell a faint scent. It smells like blood even though it's dry."

"Guess, the killer managed to get his hands on someone else," Yukino said a little queasy looking at the dried blood.

"Yes, we can assume the killer got away and is probably around somewhere," Carla whispered. "Anyway, we should report to this Gajeel and his team." Before she could get a word out, she suddenly had a vision.

She saw Yukiteru in her vision being chased by a young girl with pink. "What was that?"

"Carla...Carla...what is it?" Wendy's voice snapped her out of her trance. "Oh, I just had a vision, so, listen closely."

In Class 2-B

"Mr. Hiyama, no offense but number 3 is blunt, we never covered this stuff!" Kousaka raised his hand.

Himyama gave the teenage boy a bored expression. "Is that a fact, I swore we went over it last week."

Yukiteru was all carefree like the test was a no-brainer. "Yeah, somehow I'm not sweating this."

"Ugh...why do I need to know this crap?" Kousaka moaned in frustration.

"Don't worry, you can lift the answers off your phone, oh right, you can't," Yukiteru thought with a sneaky smile.

Just then he saw the female pink-haired student Gasai glancing at him taking the boy by surprise who turned away when he noticed. "What was that about...weird."

The girl was messing with a sheet of paper which Hiyama noticed and approached. "Excuse me, Ms. Gasai, but, we're in the middle of the test." The girl didn't look back at him. "Don't worry, I can do two things at once." The male teacher sighed. "Try not to distract your classmates."

"Yuno Gasai, the straight A-student has the school at her feet," Yukiteru thought as he had something else on the back of his mind about the girl. "Nah...it can't be."

Later that day, he was getting ready to leave until he saw a paper statue of Murumur. "Am I dreaming?" He heard a glitch sound from his cell phone. "18:21 Chased by the serial killer...Dead End..." He felt utterly afraid. "What the hell is going on, what happened to the future?"

"Your future don't get them confused." From the doorway, he saw Yuno coming inside the classroom. "Hey, there Amamo."

"How does she know my name?" He thought in question. "Wait, how do you know about..."

"You're talking about the Dead End...I saw coming a mile away," Yuno began to slowly approach the boy. Yukiteru was spooked and fled the classroom.

Yukiteru was running down the street and looked at his cellphone's diary entry. "It's changing...6:09 PM in town, I escape in the side ally and think I lost her." Yuno reappeared in front of his way stopping Yukiteru in his tracks and turned around to run back. "Keep away from me!"

He was running through the street, little did he know that three wizards were nearby. Wendy, Carla, Yukino, and Cheila saw the teenage boy running like a bat out of hell. "Who is that kid?"

"Whoever he is, he looks scared," Yukino saw the look of fear on the boy's face.

Carla gasped in realization. "That's the boy I saw in my vision, let's follow him but carefully."

"Right," Wendy and the other girls said in unison.

"Come on, there's got to be an explanation, I'm the only one who has dibs on the future, right, right?" Yukiteru came to the building that was under construction got inside the elevator and was just about the press the 14th button when he saw someone in the elevator's doorway. Yuno was there and held a cell phone. "Is this what you think I have?"

"Another future Diary Holder..." Yukiteru confirmed as his classmate walked slowly to him. "Wait...my darts..." He put his hand in his dart bag. "Don't bother..." He stopped abruptly as Yuno placed her hands on his shoulder kissing him on the lips.

Yukiteru was stunned at what the girl was doing to him expecting that she would kill him. After a few more seconds, Yuno pulled her lips away. "We both know you wouldn't stab me. My diary says so." Yuna turned to press the 14th button until three girls came inside.

Wendy, Carla, Yukino, and Cheila walked inside. "Oh hello, sorry we're just getting inside to take a look around the building," Wendy lied calmly.

"Who are these girls?" Yukiteru asked curiously as he looked at Yukino's chest. "Wow...those...tits..."

Yuno didn't look happy to see more girls. "Who are they?" She looked at the white cat. "Strange looking cat."

Wendy abruptly turned looking at the window and saw a cloaked figure at the bottom. "Who is that down there?"

Yuno quickly reacted and pushed the 17th floor. "Damn, it looks like the serial is here."

Carla looked down at the cloaked figure. "That guy is the killer, he must've been the one that Akame and Green saw."

Yukino felt troubled. "We shouldn't use our magic in front of these two kids." On the other hand, she had something else on her mind. "I'll have to give Akame's group a call we get out of the elevator."

"Listen, Yuki, the killer is set to kill you on the 14th floor, so, I changed the floor to the 17th instead," Yuno informed.

Carla thought that was crazy. "She is nuts, we'll be sitting ducks on the roof. On top of that, we can't use our magic too much otherwise this building will come down along with us."

Soon they came to the roof. Carla, Yukino, Cheila, and Wendy were looking around to hide to ambush the killer.

Yuno began to whisper something in Yuki's ear. "Pookie...let's make the girls the decoys." Yuki gasped quietly and so did Wendy due to her high sense of hearing.

"What, I can't do that, we can think of something," Yuki assured.

"Just a mere suggestion," Yuno giggled. "I have a plan."

"What is your plan?" Wendy asked surprising the girl.

"Come on, Yuno," Yukiteru said almost begging. Yukino was on her cell phone with Leone. "Yes, we're on the 17th floor, come up quickly."

After some convincing, Yuno reluctantly decided to explain her plan until she heard her diary glitch and gasped at what she read "Someone is going to kill the serial killer...a blonde woman will have him in a head lock and a black haired girl will cut his Diary without realizing the fate." She didn't know who the person that'll make the serial killer kick the bucket was, but, she supposed she'd like to see the show. "Change of plans, we should hide, wait for my signal."

A minute later

The killer arrived on the rooftop. "Playing hide and seek." He began to scroll through his diary. "Where is the rat?"

Just then a pair of arms grabbed the killer in a neck hold. "Looks like we found the killer." Akame appeared from the ground in a shadow swinging her katana sword upward barely missing him but she cut his cell phone in half.

"No!" The killer panicked in fear as his body began to twist and dissolve in a vortex. Yuki caught familiar eye colors from the killer despite he was wearing goggles and then the killer vanished into nothing.

"Looks like the killer is gone," Leone said.

"It would seem so," Akame said putting her katana back in its sheath.

"Who are those two?" Yukiteru asked. "Why did the killer's eyes look so familiar?"

"Kid, are you and your friend okay?" Akame asked glancing at the two teenagers.

Yukiteru snapped out of his deep thoughts. "Uhh...yeah thanks...um."

"My name is Akame and this is Leone," Akame introduced her and her best friend.

Chelsea put a lollipop in her mouth. "I'm Chelsea."

Wendy, Carla, Yukino, and Cheila came from their hiding spots.

"I admit that was a bit weird," Cheila said. "Anyway, my name is Cheila Blendy."

Yukino waved her hand with a friendly smile. "My name is Yukino Agria."

"I'm Wendy Marvel and this Carla." Wendy introduced with a bright smile.

Yukiteru was in the presence of four hot girls. "Wow...they're..." He looked at Carla. "She's a strange looking cat I mean what kind of cat stands on two legs."

"Ahem..." Yuno cleared her throat. "I admit I thought there'd be a little blood, but, no matter." She stretched her arms. "I admit, I didn't expect the killer to be handed by two women." She looked at Yukiteru. "So, should we get a bit to eat?"

Wendy was still stunned that Yuno tried to use her and her friends as decoys though, she decided to look the other way for now. "Anyway, we're glad that we could help."

Carla was a bit peeved about one thing. "That Yuno isn't going to thank us for saving her and her...friend. Some manners she has."

Akame felt something a little strange about Yuno's aura. "Her aura...isn't strong...but it feels unsettling like Esdeath's though less but still unsettling." Leone narrowed her eyes at the pink teenage girl thinking the same thing.

"Well, everyone, I think it's time we go home," Yukino clapped her hands.

"Agreed, after that incident, I think we deserve a break." Chelsea agreed with her arms crossed. "Take care you two,", she quickly glances at Yuno for a second and continues walking following the others.

A short time later

Yukiteru had a chat with DEUS in the dark purple and pink mint room. He looked a bit peeved. "You never mentioned to me about there being other Future Holders!"

"Oh come, I never the power was unique. I told you in the beginning that I was preparing for a game, this one be exact."

Yukiteru just glared at the entity. "Cheapshot..." He remarked.

"Calm yourself...anyway, I would like to start this meeting at once." Before Yukiteru knew it he was in a different realm.

The 38 Cause & effect Holy Hall

There were about eleven people in a circle and one spot at the words "Dead End".

"Anyway, I will announce everyone will have the chance to fight in this Survival Game. Whoever wins to get the chance to be the ruler of their world, my successor!"

"Yeah, congrats on the first kill...1st..." An old bald man praised. "I didn't expect someone to have some young ladies with ninja-like powers."

"Truly, I heard those chicks smoking hot, though, they probably can't compare to my woman." A man with a strange hairstyle.

Yukiteru looked at the players that were covered in purple and pink mint. "They're talking about the girls that saved us...wait, how do they know?"

"Anyway, will these chicks be participating in the game too?" A small child asked curiously.

"Not quite, apparently I got a word that something is coming to the town. A threat that put this game into chaos." DEUS replied sitting on his throne.

"A threat...coming to disrupt the survival game." Yukiteru thought.

"Excuse me..." An old man raised his hand. "I noticed that my Diary changed a few times."

"The future changes depending on the user's actions." DEUS put his hand out as a big arrow appeared with a chibi player doll. "Consider for example that the Diary says the owner will have a trip and get injured. When the time of the event comes and the owner takes an action not stated in the diary...reality will change and so will the future. In other words, if the owner avoids the foretold accident, then the future where he is injured will change and so the future entries will change as well."

"Guess that example that of me going have a run in with the bullies only that I used my diary to avoid that," Yukiteru thought as he had a question of his own. "Hold on, mine changed without me doing anything instead it only told me that Third was going to kill me."

DEUS had that figured out. "You're the only one that can't change the future, that is why this is a survival game." Then a projection of a reaper appeared. "When a Diary owner is set on killing another owner, a death entry is formed. That is the Dead End call you get."

A girl wearing a kimono had a question. "How do we know who we are supposed to kill if we don't who they are?"

"The identity of the other competitors can deduced from your diary," DEUS replied.

The little boy realized what had to be done. "So, I take it that we find whoever they are and take it from there, right?"

"Precisely," DEUS confirmed nodding his head. "Of course, the others will surely try to do the same thing putting you at the Dead End warning. However, whatever resources you have you can use to overcome your opponents. That's what this survival game is about."

A tall man who looked calm and collected had a question. "One more question, will this threat you're talking about interrupt the threat?"

"I can't say...but, their enemies are here, so, they might keep the threat occupied at the moment," DEUS replied. God bends over to look at Yukiteru. "As for you 1st, you were supposed to die yet he died at the hands of others that weren't competitors, so consider yourself lucky. I don't know what reasons they had for saving your life but like I said consider yourself lucky."

"Yeah, if the guy gets to meet these lovely ladies then I'll be sure to come after you before they eliminate me," A man said with the long cone-shaped hair.

"A pleasant day for you," Tenth bowed his head and vanished.

"Sounds like these girls might be a badass to keep your ass safe, so, I hope I get to see what they're made if they show up," A woman with big pigtail hair mocked.

"Bye-bye First best of luck to you and your saviors..." A big obese woman with a chief-like hat said before vanishing.

"Fear surrounds us, but, I wonder how scary these other people are," The girl in the kimono spoke in a creepy tone.

"Poor little monkey, I can't wait take your lady friends down," The small child giggled creepily.

"Crap..." Yukiteru whimpered.

One of the players noticed his state. "Hey, don't worry, I'll be on your side."

"What about those girls?" Yukiteru asked. "Are you going force them into this survival game?"

"No...I have other plans, but, that'll be in due time," DEUS replied. "Anyway, this meeting is adjourned for now."

Yukiteru found himself in the purple and pink tint room looking so shocked at the situation or the game he got himself into. "Damn it, this is insanity." He whimpered.

"No need to worry," The scared teenager glanced at Yuno who was still there and had a yandere look on her face. "Everything is okay, Yuno is here. I will do what I need to protect you because that's how much I love you."

Back at the apartment.

Fairy Tail and their friends were having a meeting through the communication lacrima.

"So, this killer disappeared in a vortex, how is that possible?" Gajeel questioned a little shocked.

"Yes, it's true, my katana came in contact with his cellphone and a vortex just appeared within his body and he disappeared," Cheila said shivering a bit.

Wendy felt a little nervous. "Yeah, there wasn't any blood but..." Two hands were placed on their hands which belonged to Leone. "Take it easy you two, we didn't expect that to happen either."

"Honestly, we were just going to knock him out but we didn't know he'd disappear," Chelsea said while sitting on her bed.

"One thing that didn't surprise that Yuno girl wasn't surprised about what just happened to the killer," Akame said. "According to Wendy, she overheard Yuno saying something about the killer hunting down that Yukiteru boy."

"Something tells that the kid didn't expect to be hunted either," Carla spoke. "Though, my vision showed me the girl Yuno chasing the boy Yukiteru, however, she wasn't the killer."

Lector was rubbing his head. "Man, we just had two days in this world and this happens. Talk about crazy, huh?"

"I think so too," Frosch commented looking shaken up.

Gajeel had one thing to share. "Yeah, the chief was acting weird. I overheard the old geezer talking to himself about something. Not sure, but he was in the bathroom and I opened the door only crack and quietly as I could."

Lily looked down. "Yeah, according to Gajeel, the chief said something about competing in some survival game."

Levy felt sick to her stomach. "S-survival...game..."

Minerva felt utterly disturbed. "That can't be good."

"I wonder if this what the voice was talking about. Saying the world is going to drive into chaos." Kagura wondered with her arms crossed.

Hibiki put his hand on his cheek. "Looks like things just got more complicated."

Ace was thinking about other stuff. "Hmm, this world is strange. Though, no doubt, these police guys are doing what they can in case anything pops up. With Gajeel and his team working with the cops, we should be fine." He looked at the money. "So far, we got some good cash, though, we'll have to use it wisely." One thing that bothered him. "I wonder who sent us these cell phones has a connection with this survival game."

"Either way, we need more answers on what is going to happen next and the demons that are somewhere in this world, we haven't made any progress on finding them," Jenny added.

Just then, they found themselves in the same purple and pink tint room. "What just happened?"

"This isn't our apartment room!" Levy exclaimed completely stunned she and everyone were in different rooms in an instant.

"Sorry about that, but, I had to bring you people here," Everyone looked to see the giant entity.

"Ahhhhh!" Levy, Wendy, Yukino, Cheila, Carla, Jenny, and Gajeel screamed comically.

"What the hell are you?" Ace asked preparing for a fight.

"Did you bring us to fight?" Sting and Rogue pumped up their arms.

"Holy crap, this guy is huge!" Lector exclaimed with a gaping mouth.

Chelsea was stunned as she observed the entity. "He looks like a machine...but, he can talk."

Akame felt the giant machine-like creature's aura. "Is aura is powerful...it's not of this world either."

Leone felt on edge. "His aura is strong, but, does this thing know how to fight?"

"Calm yourselves," DEUS spoke in a calm tone. "I don't mean you any harm."

Minerva narrowed her eyes at the creature. "Look, just tell us what are you and why have you brought to this... whatever place are we in?"

"Straight the point you guys are," DEUS said his calmness not leaving his face. "Anyway, my name is DEUS the Machina, God of Space and Time."

Hibiki was a bit stunned to hear those words. "A Machina..." He looked at Jenna. "Does he have a power that's similar to Jenny? No, I don't sense any magic from this DEUS creature."

Gajeel scoffed impatiently. "Look, we don't care what are you, just tell us what you want with us?"

"Geez, do you idiots have any manners?" Murumur appeared by Wendy, surprising the girl. "Whoa, how did you-"

"She's so small!" Yukino pointed out.

Wendy, Gajeel, Sting, and Rogue's strong sense of smell caught the two being's scent.

Sting narrowed his eyes. "They aren't human no doubt."

Rogue was quite suspicious of the two creatures. "Are these two working together?

Wendy noticed something familiar about the female short imp. "That creature's voice reminds me of the voice we heard back at the gateway, could she..." She dismissed the thought.

Gajeel looked at the creature with a scary look. "Listen shrimp, are you and this oversized trash can working together?"

An anime vein appeared on Murumuru's head looking peeved. "Shrimp, my name is Murumuru, you nail-faced freak!" Gajeel's eyes widened looking provoked. "Nail-faced freak, well you're small!"

Whack

Levy hit the iron dragon slayer on the head with her purse. "Idiot, enough of this!" She approached the little small girl. "Listen, can you explain to us why your friend brought us to wherever here is?"

DEUS could see the blue-haired human girl was a little nice. "If I may have your attention. There will be a survival game, only eleven players remain, there were twelve but one has perished."

Wendy, Yukino, Cheila, and Carla gasped in realization as they spoke in order. "Wait, one was eliminated then..."

"The person that Akame and Leone fought..."

"Was one of the competitors?"

"How could that be, his body wasn't even injured."

Akame had a good idea. "Does it have something to do with that phone?" She recalled when her katana cut the killer's cell phone in half.

"That's correct, though, I can see that you weren't aware of that,' DEUS answered.

Minvera had a question. "Excuse me, Deus was your name?" The Machina nodded his head as he looked in Minerva's direction. "Did you know we arrived in this town?"

"Yes..."

"Why didn't you talk to us in the first place?" She asked.

"I was organizing the Survival Game. Explaining the rules of it for the eleven competitors. To keep it short, each player will use their resources to find each other and kill one another. Whoever is the last one standing becomes my successor."

The Earthland wizards were shocked to hear such a rule of the survival game. The former Night Raid assassins weren't too surprised.

"Does it mean that girl Yuno is one of the competitors too?" Wendy asked.

"That's is correct, however, you won't be competing," DEUS replied. "However, I'll give your cellphones a unique power but...first...Murumuru go to the city for a while to watch over our competitors."

"Whatever you say, boss." Muru Muru vanished out of the room.

"As I was saying, I'll explain the abilities of your Future Diaries, so listen carefully..." Deus resumed as the Earthland wizards listened.

There you have it, Yukiteru gets his Future Diary and uses it for his reasons until he is approached by the school's straight A-Student Yuno Gasai, who has a Yandare side and is his stalker. After killing the Third is killed by Akame destroying his cell phone, who was aware of the fate at first. Yukiteru meets DEUS with other Future Diary Holders and wants to take him down as well as meet new people. Fairy Tail meets Deus who explains the Survival Game and the rules. However, they won't compete in the game but DEUS will give their abilities.

What kind of abilities will Fairy Tail and their allies get, that'll be revealed in time.
