Chapter 4: Hanging out

Earlier in the next morning.

Gajeel woke up to a call from Keigo. "What is it, old man?"

"That's chief to you, iron punk," The chief retorted before returning to his calm self. "I have a favor to ask of you, could you bring Sting, Yukino, Levy, Lily, Carla, Akame, and Green?"

"What about the others?" Gajeel asked.

"They can have a day off, though, Hishijima would like to have Chelsea, Leone, Chelia, and Wendy with him on a special patrol."

5/4 4:32 PM Sakurami City Amusement Park

Yuki was sitting on a bench gazing at the blue sky. "The sky is so blue." He looked at the guy's parachute. "Oh please, I won't want to die...bam..."

"Yukki!" Yuno came running toward me with ice cream cones. "Can we do something not so terrifying?" Yukki asked.

"It's going to melt," Yuno said ignoring the boy's question with a smile. Having no choice, Yukki to the cone. Then Yuno pointed over toward a roller coaster. "We should go on that right."

"Please, why did I have to agree on this?" Yukki whimpered comically.

Gajeel was sitting at a table. "This is stupid..." He yawned.

"C'mon, we have to make sure that Miene isn't around, otherwise she'll involve innocent people," Levy reminded who came with two energy drinks.

Carla was carrying Lily while in human form. "Geez, it feels like we're dating."

"Feels awkward, good thing that Happy isn't here to see this." Lily did remember that when he and the two Exceeds were crawling through a duct and he accidentally bumped his face into Carla's butt and Happy didn't take it too well.

Carla saw Yuno and Yuki passing by. "Hmm..." Lily noticed her odd behavior and looked at the two teenagers. "Something wrong, Carla?"

The white exceed had her arms crossed. "I'd be lying if I was." She then glanced at the black exceed looking concerned. "It's just that, Yuno...I feel like something is off about her."

Lily put his paw to his chin. "Well, I admit she's a bit strange, though, she did help us make Minene retreat." Carla wouldn't deny that, but, still something in her gut had a strange feeling.

Sting was checking out the rides. "Man, looking at these makes me want to gag." He groaned as he patted his pocket. "Good thing, I took a pill an hour ago."

Yukino was standing by him. "Which means you'll take another when 2 hours pass." She looked at her cell phone's clock. "Which will you do at 6:32."

They went off to a food joint. Yukiteru got a table while Yuno got the drinks. "Gajeel and the others are here, they seem nice. Though, I wonder if they're hiding something." He couldn't put his finger on it but he swore they had cell phones which could have been Diary Holders, if they were wouldn't they be participating?

"Sorry, it took a while," Yuno brought a single drink and placed it on the table. "It's okay."

Yukiteru noticed the single-glass drink. "So, what is-"

"Didn't you notice the two straws?" Yuno interrupted which her crush noticed just now. "Drink up."

Yuno put her mouth over the straw on the left with a faint blush on her cheeks. Yukiteru felt awkward and flustered at the same time but reluctantly put the other straw in his mouth. Though, after a few seconds of sucking in the drink, he found out that the straw was attached. "What the hell is wrong with you?!"

Akame and Green were eating at a fast food joint. Akame was chowing on some chicken nuggets. "So good!" Nearby some customers were a little disgusted at the girl's eating habits.

"Geez, that's so unladylike."

"No kidding."

Akame ignored them. "Akame...say "ah," Green said holding a fork with a piece of chicken. Akame ate it with a delighted look on her face.

Yuno escorted Yukki to the haunted mansion and went inside a dark hallway. "She knows damn well that this scares the crap of me." A fake corpse hung right in front of them scaring them.

Yukki recovered when he noticed Yuna's frightened expression. "What is this...let go of my arm." She refused as she tugged onto his arm tightly and her body was shaking. "Wow, she's scared, that's new." The two continued when a ghoul came behind and shrieked.

"That place...no thanks," Yuno said a little scared but calmer then she smiled.

"Wow, this must be her normal side," Yukiteru thought a little surprised.

Gajeel and Levy were walking by. "Hey Yukiteru." Levy waved.

"Levy, Gajeel, how are you two doing?" Yuki greeted.

"Same thing, I almost lost my lunch," Gajeel felt like gagging.

"Didn't you take your seasick pill?" Yuki asked.

"Yeah, but, he took three hours ago," Levy answered. "Honestly, he should've taken it before we got here."

"Shut up, your little body," Gajeel remarked.

"Geez, you're still being a jerk," Levy scoffed.

Yukiteru chuckled a bit. Yuna just stared at the two not saying a word.

A short time later.

Yukiteru and Yuno went on another ride. They kept checking out the other areas. "I need to find out what they've obsessed over me...but, she's too cute." He saw how cute her smile was.

They soon came across the Water Amusement Island

Sting and Yukino arrived at the same time. "Sting, Yukino, are you going for a swim too?" Yukki asked.

Sting smirked. "You bet, honestly, it looks bigger than the one my friends and I have at home."

"I see, sounds like fun having a swimming pool at your house," Yukki said with a smile.

Yukino giggled. "I remember that, when my friends and I went for a swim, Frosch went missing and Rogue went nuts." Sting laughed. "Oh yeah, he went kept threating everyone he met to ask about Frosch's whereabouts!"

Yukiteru laughed a bit. Yuno just stared at them and for some reason, she felt like chuckling a bit.

"Anyway, let's go in," Sting said as he and Yukino ran inside with Yuki and Yuno following.

Yukino and Sting were already inside swimming and splashing each other.

Yuno came in her bikini. "Yuuki!" She stopped when she noticed he was hiding behind a tree looking bashful. "Uhh...I think I'll stay here." Yuno practically had to pull him to the swimming pool. "Geez, don't such a girl."

Sting and Yukino saw the scene and sweat dropped. "Someone is shy."

"C'mon Sting, behave."

The two managed to get in, though, Yuno felt a little strange which Yuki noticed. "What's the matter?"

"Ah...this swimsuit doesn't fit right," Yuno tried to rearrange it but that only made her breasts pounce making Yuki's face blush red. "This is nuts...focus...need to make conversation." He stood up straight in the pool. "They say the amount of pee is 20 percent in pools like these."

Sting overheard this due to his high sense of hearing. "Uhh..." Yukino noticed the white dragon slayer's face. "Something wrong?" Sting shook his head comically. "No, no, I'm fine, I'm fine!"

Yukiteru heard Sting's words. "Damn, did he hear me?" He quickly shook the thought off and then he noticed Yuno's face blushing pink. "What is it now?"

"My top...floated away," Yuno was covering her chest with her arms.

Yukiteru exclaimed with a gaping mouth and Sting's high sense of hearing overheard that making his face even more red. "Sting...?"

"I'll go get for you," Yukki said moving down the stream until Yuno grabbed his wrist. "Wait...you can't let anyone see me like this, not even the others that are here. Ask a lifeguard for help."

Yukki was surprised to see this other side of Yuno. "Okay, this must be her upset side." He saw a female lifeguard walk by. "Excuse me, my friend lost her top down the stream."

"Oh, no worries,"

There was an awkward silence as Yuno and Yukiteru didn't say a word as other swimmers passed by.

Yukino accidentally bumped into Yuno causing her to fall in Yuki's arms. "Oh sorry, Yuno, I-" She turned around and realized her top was missing.

Yukiteru saw her reaction and put his fingers to his mouth in a hushing motion.

Sting approached. "Hey guys, is everything-" He noticed Yuno's top was missing too and Yukino quickly covered his eyes with her hands. "Don't stare."

"I'm so embarrassed..." Yuno was clinging onto Yuki's body by wrapping her arms around his waist which caused her naked breasts to press against his torso making Yuki's face more red. Yukino kept her face turned while still having her hands on Sting's eyes. "Sorry, sorry..."

Luckily the female lifeguard returned with Yuno's top and she put it back on. "Thank goodness, it would've been worse." She noticed Yukki was missing but saw him floating down the stream a little stunned.

"Oh no," Sting said face palming. Yuno managed to get him out and the boy was okay.

A short time later.

Yuki and Yuno were back in their clothes walking until they came across something that got Yuno's attention. "A platinum...let's go."

Sting was intrigued. "No idea, what that is, but it sounds interesting." Yukino felt a little intrigued. "Yeah, what do you say, Yuki?"

"No thanks," Yukiteru walked away leaving Yuno, Sting, and Yukino puzzled.

Yuno looked at the two. "You guys go on ahead, I'll be with Yuki." Sting and Yukino nodded.

Later they came across the Ferris wheel and got on a cart together.

"Wow, the view is nice. Looks like a model from this high," Yuno commented in amazement.

Yukiteru had a question. "Yuno, why do you keep following me around?"

Ignoring his question, she had a question of her own. "What didn't you want to the platinum, I thought you'd like space stuff."

"How did you..." Realization hit Yuki assuming how she found out. "Okay, your Diary is seriously freaking me out!"

"Shut up!" Yuno abruptly stood up. "I know about you interested in stars because you told me in class a year ago, don't you remember?"

"That day I was left all alone in the classroom after school let out...I was thinking about what to write down for my future for the survey." Yuno looked in the front of the classroom and saw Yuki looking at the same sheet of paper. "Is everything okay?" She asked standing next to her crush. "I'm sorry about your parents."

"Well, I wanted to go out of the country with them to see the stars but the divorce got finalized. Sucks because I already bought a telescope. Ugh...what did I write that down, so stupid." Yuki began to erase until Yuno stopped him. "It's not stupid."

"I can't hand this to the teacher now," Yuki replied.

Yuno had an idea. "Well, you can always come with me to see the stars. There's an observatory close to my house, I have always wanted to go."

"Uhh, it wouldn't be the same without my family," Yuki said doubtfully.

"C'mon don't be so negative, I swear some people," Yuno began to write something down on Yukki's paper. "We can be a family if we get married."

"I thought she was just joking," Yuki thought as he smiled anyway. "Well, we'll have to wait until we're older." Yuno smiled sweetly.

"Wasn't it just a random moment?" Yukiteru asked.

Yuno didn't reply instead she placed her hands on his shoulders. "I admit you're sweet and all, but, my gut tells me you have a secret." Yuno bent down and kissed him on his forehead with her eyes closed. Yukiteru didn't even flinch or pull away, he felt his heart beat fast. "Yuno..."

"Secret..." Yuno said softly with an innocent look.

Gajeel and Levy were on one of the Ferris Wheel carts. Luckily, Gajeel took a seasick pill. "Wow, the view is nice, especially at sunset. Don't you think, Gajeel?" She noticed Gajeel was lost in thought.

"Gajeel, is something on your mind?" The iron dragon slayer looked at the Solid Script wizard. "Oh, it's nothing. Though, to be honest, I had fun today with you." Levy felt her face go red. "Gajeel..."

Green and Akame were also riding the Ferris wheel. "This is quite the ride."

"Yeah, I wished Guy and others could've joined us on this adventure," Green said. "Though, they were going on a job."

"Yeah, Merraid and her female team were doing a long job too," Akame said a little sad but she kept her smile. "However, it was fun being here with you." Green's face went red but he smiled. "Same here."

Gajeel and his friends met up at the entrance with Yuki and Yuno. "Hey guys, we're going to head back!" Sting waved.

Yukino got her zodiac key out and activated the vehicle. "Here we go."

"Do you guys need a ride?" Green asked.

"We're fine, our home isn't too far," Yuno replied before Yuki could answer.

Lily was unsure of this. "Are you two sure?"

Yukiteru sighed and smiled at the others. "Yeah, we're fine, I'll talk to you guys tomorrow."

"Do you think those two make a cute couple?" Levy asked.

Sting smirked. "I think they do, honestly, you should've seen what happened at the pool." The others were puzzled and before the white dragon slayer could get a word in, Yukino covered his mouth. "Oh nothing happened, nothing at all!" She fibbed blushing red.

Carla giggled for a second until she saw a vision. She saw a grisly sight, a room filled with three corpses and someone was looking at them with fearful eyes but the person was too blurry to make out. "Carla...Carla...what is it?" Lily asked getting the white exceed snap back to reality. "You're sweating..."

Carla put her hand on her head. "I...I'm not sure...I saw...three dead bodies." The other wizards gasped in horror. "Dead bodies, where did you see them?"

"I don't know...it was a dark room and someone was there, but, I couldn't see the person's face," Carla panted still shaken up.

"Let's go to the apartment there so we talk about it," Sting suggested.

Yukiteru and Yuno were already far away to hear their conversation.

Later, the two went to a store due to the rain. Yuno bought an umbrella. "Here it goes." The two walked down the street and they walked by a police site.

Minene was asleep in the abandoned building having a nightmare as a child when her parents were lying on the ground dead. Her cries of despair were heard in her mind like an echo. She woke up in pain holding her injured eye. "Damn it..." She then took off her dress and was wearing a shirt and pants. "I'm out of here."

Eventually, Yukiteru was at Yuno's house. He was amazed at how big her place was. "Wow, so, this is your house, it's big."

Hishijima and his group returned to the station. "Chief, no sign of the Minene yet. Though, Yuki and Yuno made home, well, to Yuno's place that is."

Leone grinned. "Wow, those two in a house, I wonder..."

"Let's not go there," Wendy said her face beet red.

"What about Gajeel and the others?" Chelia asked.

"They're on their way home I can imagine," Nishijama replied.

Chelsea was leaning next to a wall. "Is there anything else, we should do tomorrow?"

Keigo looked at the assassin. "Not at the moment, I'll give you a call tomorrow. Nishijima give them a ride home."

"Yes, chief."

"Wait, what about the terrorist lady?" Wendy asked.

"Minene Uyru...but, don't worry, we have enough cops to secure the areas and she'll stay hiding for a little longer," Keigo said confidently.

Chelsea didn't know but for some reason, she couldn't help but feel a little suspicious about Yuno. "You guys, go on head." The others were puzzled. "Go on." And they left without questioning her.

Keigo was puzzled himself this time. "Do you want to speak to me?" Chelsea had a request. "Chief, if you don't mind, I would like to check on Yuki and Yuno, so, can you give me the address, just this one?"

"It's a long walk plus it's raining." Keigo reminded. "I'll be fine," Chelsea said with a smile.

Minene was hiding behind a fence and a large rock. "Crap, this is supposed to be an Escape Diary. Worthless piece of junk." She heard faint footsteps coming down the path. There was a mysterious man whose face was hidden in the dark. "Try not to make any noise, are you able to move?"

Minene looked down at where Diary and realization hit but before she could make a move the man grabbed her and lift by her arm. "Hey, don't you dare!"

"Hush...I'm here to help but...besides you got no other options considering your situation," The mysterious man said carrying Ninth into the forest.

Back at Yuno's house.

The inside was dark, with no power. Yuki was in a room sitting in front of a small table. "Sorry about the power, it's off for a while." Yuno had a candle and picked the apple. "Believe it or not, this apple grew in our backyard. Let me peel it for you."

"This setup is...I don't know..." Yuki thought feeling a bit uneasy. He felt his instincts kick him. "Time for a bathroom break."

Chelsea was in a falcon form. "Geez, the rain is more dark than I'd expected. However, with my keen eye, I should be able to see through the darkness."

In the woods.

There was a hut with a light inside. Minene was asleep in a soft bed but felt intense pain in her eye. Just then the mysterious man came in wearing a grocery paper bag over his head and he holding a container filled with pills and a glass of water. "Something for the pain. I recommend two in your case."

Minene still trusts the man. "Who are you and what is your reason for helping me?"

"Who am I, my reasons...you might I do this for justice. I'm a hero of justice." The masked man replied.

Minene just scoffed with a smirk. "You'd better be careful you say that too, your karma might get screwed."

The masked man begged to differ. "I do what I believe is right. I make no mistakes."

"Weird-o... you'll regret saving me, I promise you that," Minene warned almost sounding threatening.

"If someone's doing something they'll regret later it would be you,' The masked man warned.

Minene looked at her Diary and so escaped for her to do. "I don't see any changes, am I safe here or not, talk to me."

B

Yukiteru was walking down the dark hallway. "I did want to find a bathroom so I was flipping through my Diary to find it." He then stopped abruptly when he saw a doorway on the right, he shined his phone's light on it. "Hmm...what room is this?" What puzzled him the most was that he saw the tape on it.

Chelsea arrived at the location of Yuno's house and saw how dark it was. "No lights, creepy." Suddenly she felt a sense of dread with her aura sensor. "What is this...what am I feeling?"

Yuno was peeling the apple carefully.

Minene got out of bed and felt dizzy as her body became numb and her vision was getting blurry. "Bastard...what did you...put in my drink?"

"It's a medicine necessary for the treatment." The masked man replied as he approached and knelt in front of the woman.

Minene looked at her Diary and gasped at what she saw. "No entry in the Escape Diary, why is that?"

"I'm going count down to three after which, then you'll be wide awake, Ninth." The masked man said.

"Crap, you're a Diary user too," Minene realized as the masked man snapped his fingers, and in the girl's hand was nothing a piece of wood. "Now that you're up, tell me everything you know about the other Diary Holders."

The masked man opened her eyelids using two fingers from his left hand. "I'd to know about First's identity."

"What are you doing?" Minene asked as her eye was being pulled out as she screamed in pain.

Yukiteru kept looking at his Diary while standing by the door. "Hmm, the entry doesn't tell me about entering this room. Perhaps if I look inside it'll rewrite the future." He slowly opened the door. "Who knew after walking through a door and...boom you rewrite history for everyone."

Every Diary Holder's cell phone began to glow with a purple light surprising them all.

Once Yukiteru opened the door it was dark but he saw some corpses and blood stains on the floor.

The dark purple and pink mint chapter where DEUS and Muru Muru were at.

The realm began to rumble. "The boundaries of fate have begun to change!"

"Did you open that...now an impossible miracle has come again. Like those Fairy Tail wizards that helped save those hostages, I figured it was luck, but, who knew. Now, Amano, you created a miracle. The future will have an unimaginable change." DEUS Thought as he put his claw-skinny skeleton fingers together. "Well done boy and Fairy Tail, I wonder what else you will achieve in this world!"

Yukiteru continued to stare at the corpses speechless. "Why did you do it?" A voice asked from behind the darkness which belonged to Yuno with tears in her eyes.

Fearing for his life, Yukiteru dashed out of the house in a flash. Chelsea noticed the teenage boy running away. "Yuki...what is he running for?" Before she flew off, she saw Yuno walking out of the house. "Yuno...what is she doing in the front?" She thought in question as Yuno ran off in the direction where Yuki was. "What the hell is going on?"

The moment that Yuno was far away, Chelsea saw her chance and flew away into the night. "I need to talk to the others."

5/4 19:32 Sakurami City Neighborhood

Yukiteru came running as he looked back and saw Yuno wasn't running after him though it was too dark to tell. He eventually arrived back at his house and opened the door then locked it sitting down catching his breath. "What were those...were those...corpses?" He thought still panting.

On the wall, he saw a sheet of paper. "That's mom's message." He read from where he was standing. "Was she here today?" Just then the mail slot opened. "Yukki...good night...see you in your dreams."

Back at the apartment.

Sting and others returned and activated their communication lacrimas. Carla informed the others of her vision and was still pretty shaken up.

"Are you serious, you had a vision that showed three corpses?!" Minerva exclaimed in shock.

Wendy felt horrified to hear this. "Dead bodies..."

Cheilia comforted the sky dragon slayer. "Easy Wendy."

"Yes, and a person was staring at them, but, my vision ended quickly that I didn't see who the person was," Carla answered. "Honestly, it was like a nightmare."

Ace had his arms crossed. "Doesn't much sense, but, whatever you saw, must've been three victims that will die in the future."

"It's possible, but, who were the corpses?" Leone asked.

Carla shook her head. "I'm not sure, they looked skeletal meaning I couldn't identify them and they looked like they had a blanket over them like someone covered them."

Sting felt utterly disturbed. "Man, could've been Minene's doing perhaps?"

Lector had to agree. "I agree, that woman nearly tried to kill everyone in the school."

Rogue rubbed his head. "Either way, we should look into this further."

"I think so too," Frosh commented a little scared.

"Let's change the subject," Hibiki suggested. "How were the dates at the amusement park?"

Gajeel and Levy blushed red. "Well, I had fun a bit."

"Same here, though, Gajeel complained about the tunnel of love we went through."

Lily chuckled. "For me, it was okay." Carla didn't say a word but she blushed a bit.

"Has anyone heard from Chelsea?" Leone asked.

"Not yet, she went to check on Yuki and Yuno and we haven't heard from her-"

The door to the room Leone, Minerva, and Kagura's room abruptly opened. There was Chelsea was soaked. "Chelsea, what took you so long?"

"Crap, you're soaking wet, you might want to wash up," Kagura suggested.

"Y-yeah..." Chelsea said rubbing her head.

"Kagura, what is it, something wrong with Chelsea?" Wendy asked worriedly.

"She looks exhausted and her body is drenched in rain," The other swordsman woman replied. "Either way, she's going to wash off."

"I think it's time we get some rest and be prepared for tomorrow," Sting suggested.

Leone was about to get up until her phone rang. "It's Keigo, hold on." She returned the call and began to talk to the chief. "Uh-huh, I see...oh you want, I see, I understand. Talk to you tomorrow."

"What did Keigo want?" Ace asked.

"He wants us to help investigate tomorrow. He wants Wendy, Chelia, Ace, Carla, Chelsea, and Kagura to help in this case." Leone replied closing her cell phone.

"What, why does he want our help?" Wendy asked.

"Not sure, but, I suppose we should help," Ace said. "However, Wendy, Chelia, and Carla, do you think you want to stay here considering what is going on now?"

Wendy had a determined look on her face. "Yes, I know Carla had a horrible vision, but, we have to move forward." Carla figured her friend would say that.

Chelia stood up. "Yes, I will help too." Kagura placed her hand on her sword. "Anyone who tries to hurt my sisters will have to go through me."

"What about Chelsea?" Wendy asked.

"We'll see how she is in the morning." Akame answered.

Ace grinned. "Alright, as for the rest of you, try to find what you can at Yuno's place. I suggest Akame, and Leone go there, you are two capable assassins but just in case, Gajeel, go with them too."

"They'll need a ride so I'll tag along," Yukino said raising her hand.

"It's settled," Sting said. As for the rest of us, Minerva, Rogue, Lector, Frosch, and I will do some shopping." Everyone nodded in approval. "Alright, let's get some rest for the night."

Keigo has Yuki and Yuno along with some of the wizards to go on a date at the amusement park. Yuki is reminded of what he and Yuno discussed a year ago. Minene barely escapes the cops and is captured then subdued by a masked man who's another Diary Holder and her injured eye is pulled out. Carla has a disturbing vision of seeing three corpses and a person seeing the dead bodies but is unable to identify them. Chelsea goes to Yuno's house and sees Yuki fleeing in terror with Yuno running after the frightened boy. What will happen next time and what investigation will the Earthland wizards be involved in this time? Find out next time.
