Author's Note: Hey, everyone. Back with another chapter/update on 'Spider-Man & the Incredibles' and happy late Spider-Man Day. Apologies for not getting ready for the updates on the first days of August. I'm still busy rough drafting and other stuff.
Anyway, in celebration for Spider-Man Day, I decided to make some last, few updates for this fanfic with more surprises since these last chapters are where I introduced some certain Wakanda royalty, the Watcher and Madame Web revealing themselves to Peter, and how he and the world of this crossover alternate universe fanfic will soon be connected to the Great Web of Life and Destiny that connects all the spider-powered heroes from across the Spider-Verse.
For now, after I finish this crossover story, I'll be taking a few breaks more and move on to focus on my other stories I'll soon update in the future - "The Fairly Odd Winx Club", the crossover between 'The Fairly OddParents' and 'Winx Club' (Only on Season 1 for now). Maybe even my self-insert movie fanfic, "Joshua Sumter: The Movie!", starring me and featuring the worlds of Disney (I'm sometimes BOTH the author and the star of some of my current and upcoming self-insert fanfics in the future, so remember that.).
Anyway, enjoy these last, final chapters of "Spider-Man & The Incredibles", aka Earth-A113 (Or rather, Earth-TRNA113, because I would mark it as a Temporary Reality (TRN)) until then. Any and all comments (on the story) are welcome.
In the backyard at the new Parr house, Peter, Violet, and Dash watched as Bob and Aunt May brought Jack-Jack out, showing them how to use Edna's tracker.
"Ready…laser eyes!" Bob demonstrated as Jack-Jack concentrated and laser beams came out of his eyes, cutting the vines and the umbrella.
"And…stop," Bob said as Jack-Jack stopped.
"Wow!" Dash cheered. "Yeah, baby!"
"Yay, Jack-Jack!" Violet said.
"That's sweet," Peter replied.
"And that's not all," Aunt May said as Bob picked up Jack-Jack. "Watch this!"
"Jack-Jack, blaster ready?" Bob asked as he held Jack-Jack, and the baby fired lasers several times.
"No way!" Dash exclaimed in excitement.
"That's crazy cool!" Violet said.
"Hey, I'm just demonstrating," Bob chuckled. "No firing the baby around the house, you understand? This is potentially dangerous, and we're trying to teach him to control his powers."
"That's what the tracker is for?" Peter asked.
"Yeah, I think so," Aunt May replied. "Edna said that the suit and the tracker anticipated the change and alerted us. And it's handy." Then, she and Peter turned to see Jack-Jack disappear into thin air…or the other dimension.
"He vanished!" Violet said, holding the tracker. "That's really cool!"
As Bob, Violet, and Dash went inside the house with the tracker, Peter and Aunt May followed and grabbed the cookie jar.
"Cookie! Cha-cha want a cookie?" Peter called out to Jack-Jack. "Num-num cookie? Cha-cha want a Num-num? Num-num cookie! Cookie! Cookie! Cookie!"
Jack-Jack appeared again and gobbled the cookie down as everyone cheered. "Yay, Jack-Jack!"
"That's really cool," Violet smiled.
Just then, Bob heard his Incrediphone ring and went to get it. "Hang on, I need to get that."
While Bob went to get the phone, Violet grabbed Peter, and the two sneaked away and went to Violet's room.
"Okay," Peter giggled for a bit. "Okay, what's going on, sneaky pants?"
"Oh, nothing," Violet replied. "I just wanted to make sure that nobody's bothering us."
"Why? Are you going to go all invisible on me?"
"No… I was thinking about the times we had. Do you know it's been months from now when you said you've fallen for me? I guess there wasn't much to process about, huh? After being put in charge of me and my brothers."
Peter chuckled. "Yeah."
"But I think…my feelings for you have been growing for a while because I knew you meant it."
"What do you mean?" Peter asked.
"Since you moved to Municiberg and came to my school, there's been a connection. I couldn't explain it, but that feeling grew stronger as we got to know each other. What I mean is…I've grown to like you, too. I love you just as much as I've wanted to hear you say that since…I don't even know when."
Peter smiled. "Mm, I feel the same way, Vi. That's all the more reason I started having a crush on you…and that's why I'm going to go out with you!"
Smiling, Violet threw her arms around Peter, and he hugged her back. "So, be thankful because I'm gonna take you out when this is over, Vi. I promise. No more villains, no powers, no nothing. It will be like one of those 'slice-of-life' dates like the other teenagers, and it'll be fun."
"I know!" Violet smiled warmly.
Peter and Violet looked deeply into each other's eyes, and much to Peter's surprise, Violet kissed him. After a few seconds, the two were blushing in surprise.
"Sweet," Peter said, flustered. "So we're officially together now?"
Violet nodded. "By the way, Dad really wants me back here by 10:30."
"11-ish?"
"10-ish, heading for 9:30-ish."
"10:30-ish it is."
But their romantic moment was suddenly interrupted when Peter's phone rang, and he answered it. "Hello?"
"Peter! Are you in there?!"
Peter recognized that voice. "Miles?! What's up?"
"I can't tell you on the phone. Something big is going down! I'm coming over to you."
"Something big going down?" Peter repeated in confusion. "I thought it had something to do with the ship Winston showed me at DevTech."
"What's at the ship at DevTech?" Violet asked.
Before Peter could answer, Bob hurried to them with his super suit on. "I gotta go. Peter, you're in charge until I'll be home soon. Lucius and the others will be here soon. No firing the baby around the house, okay?"
"What's at the ship at DevTech?" Violet asked her father. "And why are you in your super suit?!"
But Bob didn't have time to answer Violet's questions as he was already in his car and sped off to the ship at DevTech.
"You guys haven't heard?" Peter said to the others. "DevTech is having a summit at sea with their ship, the Everjust, gathering leaders and Supers from all over the world."
"No way!" Dash cried.
But Peter became concerned. "But that's odd… Could this be what Miles meant?" He then turned to Violet. "You and your brother best get your super suits on and grab your mom's super suit as well."
"Okay," Violet nodded. "Mom may need it."
"What's going on?" Aunt May asked in worry.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Dash repeated while hiding the Incredibile remote behind his back.
"I don't know," Violet replied. "There's a summit happening at DevTech, and Dad called Lucius after getting a call about Mom and then left."
"Is Helen in trouble?"
"Yeah, and things are getting pretty ugly," Peter replied. "Aunt May, you might lock the door and windows in your room and hide yourself in the closet until the coast is clear."
Just then, Peter's spider-sense tingled as he winced in pain.
"What's wrong?" Violet asked.
"Something's…not right…," Peter replied. "Hurry and suit up. I'll check the roof."
"You don't have to tell us twice," Dash smiled as he and Violet quickly put on their super suits. Aunt May hid in her room while locking up her door and windows.
Peter made it to the roof as a familiar figure joined him. "Miles?"
"Peter, glad I made it," Miles said until a squeak came from within. He noticed a familiar squirrel with him. "Tippy-Toe?"
"And me, too," another voice appeared, revealing Nadia Van Dyne.
"What's going on? What are you all doing here?" Peter asked.
"Daisy sent me to come find you," Nadia replied. "After Miles told me and the others about what happened at the party, he called Daisy. We went to get the wannabe Supers, but it was too late."
"Too late? What do you mean?"
"Evelyn's the Screenslaver," Miles explained. "She's taken every Super under her control, including Elastigirl and the others." His voice almost trailed off, and he looked away. "She's got everyone."
"Everyone?" Peter repeated.
Miles nodded while Tippy-Toe squeaked sadly. "Well, not everyone."
Peter, Miles, Nadia, and Tippy-Toe looked down from the roof. They saw Voyd, Brick, Screech, He-lectrix, Reflux, Krushauer, Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Nightcrawler, Magma, and X-23 wearing hypno-goggles.
Peter looked at them in horror – almost all the younger Supers and wanna Supers had been under Evelyn's control.
"Oh no, it's true," Peter said. "These guys have been all turned into mind-controlling zombies."
"Well, except the psychic triplets," Nadia added, referring to the Stepford Cuckoos. "Because they went and got away. And 'zombies' is a strong word. I preferred 'slaves'."
"Why are they doing this?! In fact, why is Evelyn even doing this?! They liked me so much!"
"Yeah, and now they're surrounding the house!" Miles said, then he and the others noticed that it was suddenly snowing.
"You kids aren't safe," The mesmerized Voyd said to Violet and Dash. "The Deavors sent us to take you..."
"Well, isn't that redundant?" Frozone said as he, Captain America, and Iron Man arrived and got between the Parr kids and the mesmerized Supers. "The Deavors just sent us here to guard the house. Cause the kids aren't safe."
"We can take it from here," Captain America said.
"Yeah, we get it, a managerial screw-up."
"Tell Winston that we got this," Iron Man agreed.
But Voyd stopped Frozone from closing the door with her foot. "The thing is, he wants us to bring you, too."
"Oh no…," Peter groaned.
Just then, Frozone quickly blocked everything with a wall of ice before locking and closing the door. "That isn't gonna hold them long! Dash, grab the baby!"
Seeing the hypnotized Supers breaking through, Peter, Miles, Nadia, and Tippy-Toe entered the house as they met up with Frozone, Captain America, Iron Man, and the Parr kids.
"More of you, huh?" Iron Man said. "Welcome to the party."
"Wait!" Peter halted. "We're not hypnotized. We're perfectly normal!"
In a flash, the mesmerized Supers were already inside the house after breaking out of the ice, and a huge fight broke out. Just when they were about to win, the Incredibile crashed through the house and into the living room, courtesy of Dash summoning the vehicle with its remote.
"It worked!" Dash exclaimed.
"Incredibile, windows down!" Frozone commanded the vehicle as he, Captain America, and Iron Man tried to stop the mesmerized Supers. Then, he turned to the Parr kids and the other young Supers. "Dive in!"
Violet, Dash, Jack-Jack, Miles, Nadia, and Tippy-Toe dived into the Incredibile. Peter was about to join them, but some hypnotized Supers focused on him and blocked his path.
But thankfully, Frozone and Captain America intervened, and Peter quickly joined the others in the Incredibile.
"Incredibile, set voice identification!" Frozone commanded the supercar while punching Krushauer. "Loudly, say your names!"
"Violet Parr!" Violet said.
"Dashiell Robert Parr!" Dash said.
"Your full name is Dashiell?!" Nadia asked in confusion, then giggled. "Why am I not surprised?"
But the hypnotized Supers had already slapped a pair of hypno-goggles on Frozone and the others as Dash screamed. "Lucius!"
"Incredibile, escape!" Violet shouted as the hypnotized Frozone were about to catch them, but the Incredibile sped away from the house.
Moments later, after the escape, the Incredibile pulled over somewhere far away as Miles quickly explained everything he witnessed.
"So, Evelyn's the one who killed Peter's uncle!?" Dash asked, stunned.
"I didn't want to believe it, but…it's all true," Miles said, looking down sadly. "I heard Evelyn say that to Elastigirl with my own two ears."
"Why?" Peter asked, feeling broken about the revelation.
"To scare you away for good! I now find out that Evelyn's becoming a super-hating maniac who's coming for you. What was I supposed to do? Just let that happen?!"
"Yes!" Peter said. "I mean, I'm the Spider-Man. Facing bad guys and maniacs is like my job! But because of Evelyn, I left New Urbem way back then. I left you guys way back then. And now, they're all…they're all…"
Peter looked down sadly as he couldn't think of the words. Just thinking about Gwen, Anya, Elastigirl, Frozone, Captain America, Iron Man, and all the other Supers as hypnotized slaves under Evelyn's control…and how Uncle Ben died because of Evelyn…was too much.
"And you would've been, too!" said Miles.
Violet saw how heartbroken Peter was. And now her heart, Dash's, and Jack-Jack's were all broken for Peter. The others looked sadly at one another.
Pulling himself together, Peter turned to the Parr kids. "I'm so sorry, guys. We wouldn't be in this mess if I wasn't so caught up on all the exciting stuff happening."
Violet looked at Peter sadly. "Oh, come on, Peter. It's not your fault."
"I know. But still, we can't go to Edna's place."
"Peter's right. You saw those goggles they put on Lucius and the other Avengers. They were wearing them, too. They're all under Evelyn's control…and they've probably done the same thing to Mom."
"Okay. Mind-controlling good guys are after us," Dash said. "We got no Mom, no Dad, no Avengers, no Lucius. But we have our powers, this car, and...what?"
Just then, everyone turned to see Jack-Jack transforming into many forms before turning back to normal. Peter, Violet, Dash, Miles, Nadia, and Tippy-Toe looked at each other with smiles of confidence.
"Incredibile, take us to Devtech," Violet said as the car sped off to the pier. But the Everjust was already far away from the open ocean.
"Awww, we missed 'em!" Dash cried. "I wish the Incredibile could follow that boat."
Suddenly, the Incredibile obeyed Dash's command as Violet asked, "What did you do?"
"I don't know," Dash replied as the Incredibile suddenly backed up.
"What did you do?!"
"I didn't do anything!"
Peter, Miles, Nadia, and Tippy-Toe screamed as the Incredibile sped off the pier, turned into a water vehicle, and zoomed along the water after the Everjust.
"Wow, this car does anything I say," Dash said.
"Okay, here's the plan," Peter told everyone. "When we board the Everjust, we find and save the others…I hope."
"But how do we do that?"
"By taking off the hypno-goggles," Nadia answered.
Soon, the Incredibile caught up to the Everjust as Violet looked up at the ship. "We didn't plan this well."
"What do you mean? We're here, aren't we?" Dash asked.
"Yes, we're here. We need to be up there."
"Hey...what if the Incredibile has ejector seats?"
The Incredibile already responded to that question by activating the ejector seats.
Peter, Miles, Nadia, and even Tippy-Toe tried to stop Dash, but it was too late as Dash cheered and prepared for the ride. "Yeah, baby! Max power! Launch!"
Dash pressed the button, and everyone was shot into the air. But Violet quickly created a force field around them, and they all landed on the ship safely.
A moment later, Spider-Man, the Parr kids, Kid Arachnid, Nadia, and Tippy-Toe the squirrel, were in a quiet corridor below and hid in one of the steel doors.
"We need to find Mom and Dad," Violet whispered. "But we need to be stealthy."
"Violet's right," Spider-Man agreed. "Here's the better version of the plan: While Vi and Kid Arachnid go invisible and follow the trail of those hypnotized Supers, Nadia will shrink to wasp size and quickly spy on them to see where their parents and Lucius went."
"Not a bad plan," Nadia replied.
"Wait! Who's gonna watch Jack-Jack?" Dash asked.
"You, Tippy-Toe, and I will watch him," Spider-Man answered as he pulled out a tracker Edna Mode made.
Tippy Toe leaped into Peter's arms and squeaked impatiently.
"See? Even Tippy-Toe hates it," Dash said.
Spider-Man turned to Tippy-Toe. "I know you want to help save your friend Squirrel Girl, but if we stop Evelyn and her army first, we can still try to save her, Ms. Marvel, and the others. It doesn't work the other way around."
Tippy-Toe reluctantly nodded and agreed.
Spider-Man then turned to Violet, Kid Arachnid, and Nadia. "Just follow them for a bit and come right back. I don't want any of you to get caught."
"Got it," Violet said. "And suck it up, Dash. We won't be long."
"Oh, and Violet…," Peter grabbed Violet by the shoulder, then pulled her to him and planted a kiss on her lips. He held on to that kiss long before breaking it. "That's for…luck."
A blushing Violet smiled before she and Kid Arachnid turned invisible, and the door opened and closed as they headed off, along with Nadia.
They walked into the engine room and later the hallway, where they saw other mesmerized Supers escorting Elastigirl, Mr. Incredible, and even Frozone to the conference room. They quickly hurried back to Spider-Man, Dash, and Tippy-Toe.
"The mesmerized Supers don't know we're here yet," Violet said. "But I found Mom and Dad."
"Were there any other younger Supers there?" Spider-Man asked.
"Nope," Kid Arachnid answered. "Could've sworn they were patrolling the other parts of the ship."
"Then, we'll just have to take them by surprise if we could remove the hypno-goggles from them," Nadia said.
Violet then noticed someone missing. "Where's Jack-Jack?"
Dash just shrugged his shoulders.
"You lost him?! I gave you one thing to do!"
"Don't worry," Spider-Man reassured as he held the tracker with Jack-Jack's image moving upward. "He's going up."
"Going up?" Dash asked.
"He's in an elevator," Violet said.
"Let's go!"
While Spider-Man and the others were busy having any luck finding Jack-Jack, the signing ceremony to make Supers legal again was about to begin as leaders, delegates, and Supers from all over the world gathered around in the massive conference room, including the leader of the technologically advanced African nation and kingdom of Wakanda, King T'Challa, also known as the Super called the Black Panther.
With T'Challa were Shuri, his young genius sister, and Okoye, leader of the Dora Milaje.
Winston saw Elastigirl, Mr. Incredible, and Frozone enter the conference room as he addressed the guests. "And here they are, folks! The Supers who started this whole thing."
"I told you they'd be there in time," Evelyn said, speaking into her microphone.
"Hey, did you make them new masks?" Winston asked as he noticed the hypno goggles on Elastigirl, Mr. Incredible, and Frozone.
"Yeah, night vision, et cetera. They look good, right?"
T'Challa noticed the hypno-goggles and muttered, "Something's not right here." He then turned to Shuri and Okoye, and the three nodded.
As the Wakandans left the conference room to investigate, the signing ceremony was being broadcast live worldwide as Winston began to speak. "This is a momentous occasion. We agree to undo a wrong decision. To ensure a few extraordinarily gifted members of many countries are treated fairly. We invite them, once again, to use their gifts to benefit the world." He then went to thank everyone. "I thank all of you for representing your nation's commitment to superheroes, with special thanks to Ambassador Selick."
Ambassador Selick, who Elastigirl and Spider-Man saved from the helicopter, stood up. "Thank you. Thank you so much." She walked up to Winston and shook his hand.
"Thank you, Ambassador, for your early and crucial support," Winston said. "I can't think of anyone more deserving than you to be the first signature on the International Superhero Accord."
The Ambassador signs the International Superhero Accord. "There it is!"
Meanwhile, Spider-Man, Kid Arachnid, Nadia, Tippy-Toe, Violet, and Dash soon found Jack-Jack in the kitchen, and the baby was in his fire form.
"HOLY COW!" Dash gasped.
"One dose of Lavender comin' up," Spider-Man said as he pushed a button on the tracker, and the Lavender foam erupted from Jack-Jack's suit, quickly putting out the fire.
Jack-Jack giggled just as Violet and Nadia spotted the hypnotized Supers out the window. "They're coming!"
They all quickly hid in the ceiling vents while the hypnotized Supers searched the kitchen for them. Jack-Jack was holding the tracker and playing around with it.
"Is it okay to give Jack-Jack the tracker?" Dash asked.
"I wasn't hearing any better ideas," Violet replied.
Peter shrugged. "Well, why not? He thinks it's a toy."
Jack-Jack's laugh caught the attention of the hypnotized Supers as they now know where they are. But just as Krushauer used his powers to crush the vents, Jack-Jack grew into a giant baby and burst out of the vent, knocking the hypnotized Supers unconscious. He plays with the tracker again but breaks it.
"No!" Dash screamed.
"Come on, Jack-Jack. We have to go," Violet said as she tried to give Jack-Jack a cookie. "Cookie num-num?"
But Jack-Jack refused the cookie and crashed through the walls until he returned to his standard baby size. While Violet, Dash, Nadia, and Tippy-Toe catch up with Jack-Jack, Peter and Miles use their webs to quickly pull the hypno-goggles off of Voyd, Krushauer, Screech, and the other Avengers.
Peter and Miles joined the others to see Jack-Jack going through another wall.
"He's heading for Mom!" Violet said.
The Avengers and the wannabe Supers regained consciousness in the kitchen when the Black Panther, Shuri, and Okoye appeared.
"Greetings, my friends," T'Challa, the Black Panther himself, greeted.
"T'Challa," Captain America spoke as he shook the Black Panther's hand. "It's good to see you."
"Can you tell us what happened here?" Okoye asked.
"I don't know," Voyd answered, trying to remember. "The last thing I remembered was the party at the penthouse, then a good talk with Elastigirl and those weird goggles."
"We saw your friend and the other two wearing the same goggles as you described," Shuri replied.
"If that's indeed the case, this is the work of Screenslaver," Captain America said.
"But knowing Evelyn, she'll probably send a couple of our friends to slow us down," Voyd said. "She's still monitoring Elastigirl, Mr. Incredible, and Frozone during the ceremony."
"Then we'd better get moving," Okoye replied. "Now, if only we knew where everyone else is."
"I don't know. Maybe that giant hole in the wall?" Iron Man said, pointing to the giant hole Jack-Jack made, which everyone looked at in surprise. "If anyone asked, it was probably the kids."
The final signature was added to the International Superhero Accord in the conference room as Winston announced, "It is done. The world is super again!"
Everyone cheered as people worldwide saw the whole ceremony on their TV screens. Even the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Defenders, the Inhumans, and even S.H.I.E.L.D. were watching it from their home bases.
As Winston gathers everyone for a group photo, Evelyn puts her plan into action. She puts everyone in a trance, with the walls showing hypnotic patterns. Then, the hypnotized Elastigirl, Mr. Incredible, and Frozone stood in front.
"Now onward to phase two," Evelyn smiled evilly as she controlled every word out of the hypnotized Supers.
"Years of mandated hiding and silence have made us bitter!" Elastigirl said. "You bring us into the light only to clean up the messes your lack of discipline creates!"
"Your bodies and your character are weak!" Mr. Incredible said. "Your promises are empty, and you will pay for it!"
"We no longer serve you! We serve only us!" Frozone said. "May the fittest survive!"
With that, the broadcast everyone saw went static on every TV screen worldwide, with Elastigirl stretching her arms to take down the camera.
"Well, uh…," Chad Brently spoke up, trying to cover that interrupted moment. "Some very alarming moments there before the, uh…technical difficulties. Please bear with us."
"Yes, please bear with us," Evelyn repeated from her control room. "But right now…it's SHOWTIME!" She then now showed her evil, crazy eyes while making her evil laugh, descending into a maniacal spiral of epic madness.
