"Really?" Ruby asks, her eyes wide with surprise. "General Ironwood said that you could stay at Beacon Academy?"
"He did!" Penny says happily. "He didn't want to at first, but Professor Ozpin and my father talked him into giving it a chance, at least for a semester."
"That's awesome!" Ruby can hardly contain her excitement. "It's going to be so much fun having you here! Come on, I'll show you around campus."
The two soon to be classmates hurry across the sunny campus, grinning brightly as Ruby welcomes her friend to her new home.
