Written for the day 7 prompt: Ruby kept Floating Array. Enjoy!
Ruby's not sure why she keeps them. It's not like Penny can use the swords anymore, at least not the way she used to anymore. Plus, Penny is the Winter Maiden now; she can create all kinds of weapons with her powers. She hardly needs a bunch of swords that are just a reminder of a connection to her former, destroyed body.
But still, Ruby can't bear the thought of leaving Floating Array behind. Your weapons are a part of you, after all, and Floating Array is a part of the Penny that Ruby had met and thought she'd lost. When she gets a chance, while the others aren't paying attention, she scoops up the remaining swords (since there's still the one that's missing) and tucks them in an empty pocket in her ammunition belt.
Maybe they'll come in handy someday. Maybe Penny will need them in the future. Maybe Ruby can forge a new weapon out of the remains of Floating Array for Penny to use. After all, even with the powers of the Winter Maiden, it never hurts to have a weapon as backup.
For now, though, Ruby is content to just hold onto the swords and keep them with her. It's like she gets to keep a piece of Penny with her no matter how far apart they might end up being. It's a reminder of how far they've come together.
