Title is from Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.
Rory shivered through his polo as Amy dragged him to the school pool.
"Why are we even doing this?"
"Because Mels and I are bored and you refused to put your stupid book down."
"It's not stupid." Rory looked into the pool and swore, jumping back. "AMY-"
"It's just a pool."
"With eels." Rory shuddered. He hated eels.
"Yeah, a pool of eels isn't going to kill you, Rory." Mels sniggered.
"They might. And why did we break into school just to use the pool and not do anything actually interesting?"
"Rubbish. And we'll do all that later."
Amy pushed him in before Mels jumped in, pulling Amy with her.
Several Hours Later:
"It's just pasta, Amy."
"With eggplant. You know I hate eggplant."
"Not like it would kill you."
"I might."
"It's just revenge."
"Shut up, Williams."
"Just eat it." Mels dug into her pasta with all the force of a ravenous tiger.
"Fine." Amy ate a small forkful. "Ick."
"Better than eel?"
"Lay off it, Rory."
That Night:
"Where did you get the eels anyway?"
"Mels."
Rory grinned. "Knew it."
