Perceval stared at the dead body of Dumbledore. Somehow, no one seen or heard anything. There was no way someone could have gotten in and out unseen. They would have at least been heard. The scans show torture, so much internal damage, including torn vocal cords, but there was no magical signature found.

Madam Bones shared a look with him but said nothing. He knew she had an idea of why there was no magical signature, she seemed to be keeping silent on it though. When they were finally alone, she locked and silenced her office. "I won't find Dumbledore's murderer, will I?"

Shaking his head, he looks in her eye, "I have a feeling you will not."

Nodding, Madam Bones replies, "Hopefully she got the revenge she was looking for. I can honestly say, I would have done the same thing." Sitting at her desk, she adds "Go home and be with your family."

Harry gaped at the news of Dumbledore. Sirius and Remus looked to Thalia, noticing she was unaffected by it. The two men shared a look, they would have to ask her later.

Malachi rubbed a hand over Thalia's back. He knew she was okay, but he still wanted to be there for her, just in case.

Everyone turned when Perceval entered the room, his eyes landed on his granddaughter. When she held his gaze unflinchingly, he nodded. It seemed he knew, and he approved.

Dumbledore was charged with over seventy-five crimes posthumous. It was a first in the Wizarding world. The Minister called for Dumbledore's name to be removed from everything that praised him. A man as atrocious as he, didn't deserve any recognition. McGonagall had even taken his portrait that he had made, out of the Hogwarts head office.

Madam Bones and Perceval, including the aurors at the platform that day were given awards. No arrest warrant was ever put out for Dumbledore's murderer. Everyone seemed to be glad the monster was gone.

Somehow, when Harry's birthday came around, they were surprised by the guest their grandfather brought. It seemed he had been seeing Minerva, they had finally decided to go public. Draco and Harry paled, their headmistress would be family if they married!

No one was surprised when Sirius and Remus announced they were bonding. Thalia and Narcissa planed it for them and they were bonded by August.

The boys began their fourth year, no Tri Wizard Tournament was scheduled, so things went really well. Seeing McGonagall and Perceval, who was the new DADA professor, together always seemed to make the boys uncomfortable. Their friends thought it was hilarious. Harry and Draco's friendship seemed to pave the way for their friends to integrate. That was how Harry and Daphne ended up dating in fifth year.

On their second wedding anniversary, Thalia told Malachi she was pregnant. They were excited for this new chapter and couldn't wait to meet the newest Slytherin. Tom was extremely happy to finally be getting a grandchild. He'd been hinting for one since they were married, now he was finally going to get his wish.

Sirius and Remus opened a joke shop with the Weasley twins. Molly hadn't been happy but the four were happy. They were able to do what they loved for a living, and they had two of the Marauders to help.

When Thalia gave birth to a healthy baby girl, the whole family celebrated. Harry was happy to be an uncle, and Tom was a proud grandfather! Malachi loved his wife and daughter but knew the poor kid would never date with all the males in her family. When they had their second child, it was a boy, and he laughed because he knew how little brothers acted with older sisters.

Harry had asked Daphne shortly after Hogwarts to marry him. They held a small wedding and ended up having two children. Draco had married Susan Bones, Narcissa loved the girl and even more when she was given three grandchildren. Sirius and Remus loved being the fun uncles to all of the kids.

Thalia would never regret the day she saved her brother. Her whole life had changed for the better and she would never regret a thing she had done to make sure her family was safe.
