Chapter 13: The First Strike Part 3

Erza continued on her way to Touma's apartment. "The presence is getting stronger." She thought. "I'm almost there." She jumped off buildings and vehicles and then flew for a short distance. "If only I could drive a car I could get there quicker." Just then Oriana was driving by.

"Wait!" She called out which stopped Oriana. "I need a ride to Touma's apartment!" Oriana's eyes widened. "Wait, you know Touma?" Erza reacted the same way. "I take it that you know too."

"Yes, it's a long story, but, either way, I can take you there quicker, get in!" Wasting no time, Erza got in the passenger seat. "I'll show you the direction!"

Oriana chuckled lightly. "Don't worry, I was directed to find his apartment." That saved Erza some trouble. "I must admit you have some quite unusual armor."

Misaka pulled back her arms as electricity started to spark violently. "Take this!" A jolt of lightning struck down from the sky at Deliora Reborn but she evaded it with speed. "I ain't done yet!" She launched more lightning bolts down at the demon but kept pursuing through and evading each one. "How about this this?!" Iron started to take shape in her hand taking the form of an iron sword and took a swing as the Deliora Reborn got in close range. Though, the demon was able to jump back part of her cheek was scratched.

Wendy was astonished. "Wow, she can turn iron into a weapon using her ability!"

"Impressive," Carla commented.

Deliora Reborn wasn't even phased. "If you think a measly little scratch from an iron sand pipe is going to stop me, then you got another thing coming human girl!" Misaka glared at the demon. "I must let you know anyone who crosses my friends will pay!"

Wendy realized that she had no choice. "I will have to use my support magic!" A magic circle appeared below her feet. "

At Aiho's apartment.

Accelerator was at the table drinking a glass of water. "Damn, I have to keep an eye on our neighbors. What do I look like a babysitter?"

"What do you mean there's a monster attacking the city!" Primo's voice was heard outside the hallway. Accelerator overheard this and went to the door. "I see, I understand. I'll be on my way."

"A monster attacking the city, what the hell is going on?" Accelerator cursed under his breath.

"What'd you doing "Asks Misaka Misaka noticing Accelerator is eavesdropping at the door"?" Last Order asked innocently.

The door abruptly opened which was by Primo. "I take it that you overheard what I was saying?" Accelerator didn't even flinch at the stern look that Primo was giving him. "So what if I did?"

Primo smirked. "I suppose I don't have any reason to give a secret, but, what I'm about to tell you can't leave this room. Meaning that you can tell anyone not even your adopted mother."

"Adopted...mother..." Accelerator realized who the cyborg guy was referring to. "Hold if you're implying that Aiho is my adopted mother, then you're severely mistaken, tin can boy!"

"Aiho as an adopted mother, acts like one to us, "Says Misaka Misaka knowing how much Aiho cares for Accelerator and me"." Last Order chatted with a cute smile.

"Shut up!" The top dog esper retorted.

Primo didn't know why but he felt like laughing. "Ahem...anyway, I'll tell what my reason for my comrades and I to be in this city. So, listen carefully."

Joan flew with incredible speed and stopped in front of the cyborg hornet's face. "Paladin Light Magic: Dazzling Gleam!" She released a light magic energy flash that caused the hornet to step back a few inches.

Kovu in his crimson tyrannosaurus form rolled over and stood back up. "Crimson Flame Breath!" He blew a crimson stream of flames at the hornet.

The cyborg hornet took a few steps back seemingly feeling the flames burning its mechanical body. Then it extended its right arm forward and fired a magic beam at Kovu landing a hit on his chest. "Rrrrgh!" He roared in pain thus stopping his attack.

"Kovu!" Joan yelled as she spread her arms apart. "That does it, take this!" She created multiple golden beams that fired from the air. "Paladin Light Shower!" The multiple beams of golden light shot down at the hornet landing multiple hits.

"Looks like that oversized hornet machine is hurting..." Kovu smirked while still in his tyrannosaurus form.

Joan then sensed more danger coming their way. She looked closely behind the hornet and cyborg-like warriors were coming at them. "Kovu looks like backup is coming!" She pointed at the cyborg-like warriors.

Kovu then got up. "Great, more meat for the grinder or garbage disposal."

"Ice-Make Lance!" Gray appeared and released countless ice lances at the cyborg-like warriors.

Each was knocked down. "How do you like that?"

Just then a few cyborg-like gunslingers came running at him. They aimed with pistols firing magic bullets. "Shave!" Gray quickly sped away before the bullets landed their mark.

"Water Nebula!" Juvia threw her arm that was gathered in water and sent a water-like torrent at the cyborg gunslingers. "I will not let you monsters lay a finger on my darling Gray!" The ice mage could just sweat drop.

Cana took out her tarot cards. "Take this!" She tossed some of her cards striking down a few cyborg gunslingers. Then more took their place. "Geez, quite the persistent bunch." She muttered.

"You morons!" Kovu roared out. "Don't hold back, these cyborgs mean business!"

Gray was stunned by what he was seeing. "Kovu...how the hell did he..."

"That's Kovu's Ancient Take-Over magic!" Joan proclaimed. "But, we'll tell you that later, focus on the enemies and the giant hornet!"

On the road, Konori was driving with Natsu and his team.

"Can this vehicle go any faster?" Natsu asked impatiently.

"Natsu, take it easy, she's trying to focus on driving!" Lucy reminded.

"She's right, be a man and sit down," Yukino agreed.

"If we don't get there quickly, Wendy and Carla could end up" Natsu was utterly worried especially when a demon was fighting her.

"Geez, do you have to complain all the time?" Elfman grumbled.

Natsu felt offended. "Don't give me that, I want to save-" Konori abruptly stopped the vehicle and turned to look at Natsu dead in the eye with a serious expression. "That's enough!" She shouted in a demanding. "I know you're worried about your friend, don't forget it, my friend Kuroko is there too. I'm just as worried about her too!" Natsu looked at her without making a sound as Konori continued. "Unless you have something else to say, I suggest you sit down and I'll get us the underground!"

"Wow, she's scary," Happy thought.

"She's so manly," Elfman muttered turning his head away.

With that, they kept driving on.

Sapphire was breathing heavily. "Pant...pant...pant..." Nikka just giggled amusingly at the dragon girl. "To think that's the power of the ancient dragon race. You're strong, but it looks like sleeping for so many years has made you rusty." She gathered dark magic energy around her arm. "I'll put you out of your misery!" She rushed at the dragon girl extending her arm forward. "Dark Creation: Black Gauntlet!"

Oriana eventually got to Touma's apartment with Erza. The second they parked, Erza jumped out of her seat. "Requip!" Her armor changed. "Heart Kreuz Armor!" Quickly using her chance, she blocked the demon's attack before it made landing its opponent. "Leave her alone!"

Her drastic change impressed Oriana. "Well, that's unique."

Sapphire looked at the older woman. "Erza..." Erza glanced at the girl and smiled warmly. "I see Anna has taught you some verbs in a short time. Not surprised since she was Natsu and others' teacher."

"Oriana, get the girl out of here!" Erza ordered surprising the blonde woman. "I know we just met, but I can trust the girl in your hands."

"Okay, where should I take here?" Oriana asked picking up the girl.

Anna managed to get to the hospital and get Maika there. "Doctor, will she be alright?" The doctor was the frog-faced man. "It's too soon, but, I'll do whatever I can to make sure she recovers. Anyway, if you want to stay here, you can take a seat in the waiting room." Anna nodded. "Okay, I need to make a call, I'll be right back." She took out the portable communication lacrima. "Erza come in!"

Erza took out her portable communication lacrima. "Anna, how is Maika?"

"The doctor is taking her in now, we'll probably know soon," Anna replied. "Anyway, how are things on your end?"

"For starters, the others are taking down a cyborg hornet. I managed to get a ride to Touma's apartment and we're facing the enemy now."

"Who's "we'?" Anna asked curiously.

"A woman named Oriana gave me the ride, she's one of Touma's friends," Erza replied glancing at Oriana for a second before turning away. "Anyway, I'll take things from here, I'll have Oriana bring Sapphire to the hospital now!"

"Very well, don't overdo it," Anna advised.

"Right." Erza deactivated the lacrima and looked back at Oriana. "Oriana, I need you to take Sapphire away and get her to the hospital."

"Oriana felt utterly concerned. "Hold on, you're not thinking of that monster on your own?" Erza gave her a serious expression. "If I go with you, she'll just chase after and if we're in your vehicle she'll throw you off the street." Oriana had to admit the scarlet-haired woman brought a good point. "Alright, I'll get the girl away from here. Be careful" Erza smiled as Oriana carried the dragon girl and buckled her in the back seat then got in her driver seat.

"So, you're risking your life to save that dragon girl," Nikka questioned coldly.

Erza gave the demon a stern look. "That's right, I don't know what your intentions are, but, I'll make sure whatever you're planning to do doesn't happen!" Nikka put her hand out as her dark energy began to take the shape of a black sword. "I'll enjoy taking you apart, human!" They rushed at each other as they swung their swords colliding with each other creating a strong shockwave that rumbled the ground violently.

"A human with such strength is not bad, to think Annabelle's great-granddaughter has such strong friends," Hearing Annabelle's name got Erza to narrow her eyes at the demon. "How the hell do you know of Lucy and Anna's great-grandmother?"

Nikka smirked. "I suppose there's no reason to keep it in. I'm the last bloodline of the Devil Imps." She chuckled evilly. "I'm a demon-human hybrid." Erza's eyes widened with disbelief. "Wait, does that mean..." She trailed off before Nikka pushed her away causing the human woman to skid her feet against the ground. "Yes, my mother was Nezuko, one of the Devil Imps."

"But, I thought all the Devil Imps were wiped out by the dragons," Erza presumed.

"Not all of them, my mother Nezuko escaped and returned to this world," Nikka replied. "She eventually learned to adapt to this world, then she fell in love with a human."

Honestly, after my years as a child to see how much she's accomplished, I wanted to be like her and my father loved her so much."

An image, a dark one of Nezuka being discriminated against by other churches and bringing the one she worked for to burning ashes.

"The other churches hated the fact that a non-human was running a church and thought it went against their beliefs. Thinking that humans should churches, not a demon that is a creature of darkness."

"That wasn't the only thing that happened. Those traitorous humans started to hunt my family and me like we were animals. They were afraid my mother would gain more influence from other churches so they turned her away and my father became depressed which led to him becoming drunk and angry. So angry...that he would hit me...his daughter...and my mother..." Nikka choked on her words. "My father then started to resent the day I was born. He almost tried to kill his flesh and blood until my mother snapped and killed him right in front of me." Erza's eyes grew wider in horror. "She eventually realized what she had done so we buried him and his family found out then asked the magicians to hunt us down. My mother gave up her life to have me spared and I was able to escape. Later, I was found by a mysterious entity and was put in sleep mode for over 100 years."

"I think I get the point..." Erza spoke getting the demon's attention. "Sounds like you went through so much despair, but, why take it on Maika and Anna?"

Before Nezuko could get a word someone called out to her telepathy. "Nikka, it's time for you to return, I believe you revealed a little too much." Nikka gritted her teeth in frustration. "Damn it, we'll finish this later, if Anna has any guts to fight me, I'll meet her at this location!" She tossed her a piece of paper which Erza caught. "Hey, where are you going?" She asked but the demon human hybrid didn't reply as she fled.

As much as Erza wanted to chase her down, she had to meet up with the others. "I'll call a cab and go back to the others."

The cyborg hornet was taking damage but it still was able to fight. As for the cyborg warriors, they were nearly defeated.

"To think this oversized bug was built," Gray said.

Cana had a suggestion. "Guys, we must finish it together! Let's show this oversized tin can of a bug what happens when you mess with Wizards of Earthland!"

Kovu smirked. "Never thought, Fairy Tail would be asking us for help."

Joan smiled. "To think we'd be having a chance to work with them."

"If you guys are done chatting, then let's finish this monster!" Primo arrived but he looked different, his lower body had the shape of a motorcycle. "

"Why do you look like that?" Juvia asked surprisingly

"Never mind that, let's do this!" Primo commanded.

Gray and Juvia held their hands together.

Cana lifted her right up which glowed a golden bright light.

Joan flew above the air again as golden swords took shape behind her.

Kovu opened his dinosaur's jaw as flames began to power up.

Rufus put his fingers to his head.

Primo's wrist dissembles itself revealing a small albeit powerful cannon(one that's similar to wall).

"Water Nebula/Ice-Make: Ice Geyser!"

"Memory Make: Sword of Frozen Black Lightning!"

"Fairy Glitter!"

"Anti-Material Laser!"

"Crimson Flame Breath!"

"Paladin Light Magic: Sword Shower!"

All the magic attacks combined into one strong magic stream of fire, light, black lightning, water, and ice which enveloped the cyborg hornet along with its cyborg warriors and destroyed them all.

"We did it!" Juvia cheered as she hugged Gray, who hadn't expected it a bit. "Juvia..."

Primo smirked a little. "That felt good."

Kovu grinned. "The cyborg hornet goes to the scrap yard."

Cana smiled. "That's for sure."

Rufus chuckled lightly. "Defeating this enemy will be memorized."

Joan felt so happy to work together with Fairy Tail. "We did everyone, the city is safe." Just then a cab arrived and Erza got out of the driver's seat.

"Erza, where'd you get that cab?" Cana asked almost feeling sorry that she asked the question.

"Long story, but, anyway, the dragon...I mean Sapphire is safe." Erza began to say noticing the others were going to ask her. "I'll explain on the way, let's go!"

"We'll meet up you guys later, we have to contact Gajeel's team!" Joan called.

"Alright, we'll meet at the hospital!"

Mest and Lahara arrived. "We got the people safe away!"

"Good now we should-" Mest stopped abruptly as he froze.

There was Aiho and her men and they witnessed the whole thing. "Oh crap." Cana facepalmed.

Gray crossed his arms. "Geez, we've been seen." Juvia was giving the ice mage a flustered look. "Gray...your..." The ice mage was puzzled and he noticed that the Anti-skill agents and their boss Aiho was giving them a bewildered stare. "What are you guys-" He stopped abruptly and comically panicked. "How did that happen?!"

Nearby was Kinuhata and seen everything too. "Well, they put on a quite show." She took out a cellphone. "Motoharu will probably freak out when he finds out his sister is the hospital." She also had eyes on Gray. "I never thought I'd see a male stripper."

Wendy, Misaka, and Carla were getting worn out. Deliora Reborn wasn't nearly worn out.

"Damn, this demon is strong," Misaka panted.

"Looks like the two humans and their kitty are getting a little tired," Deliora Reborn taunted with a smirk. "I'll put you guys..."

"Hey Deliora!" A female voice called telepathy which was Maria's. "The cyborg hornet was taken down, our resource confirmed it!"

"Why is that, I was just winning my fight," Deliora Reborn complained.

"No arguing, just get your ass back to the base!" Maria demanded impatiently.

Deliora Reborn gritted her teeth but resultantly. "We'll finish this later, right now! I have to get going!"

"Hey, you're just running away!" Misaka barked.

"Running away, I'm just letting you guys go free, if you have brains you'll use this chance to flee!" Deliora Reborn was then gone in a flash.

Wendy was relieved that the battle was over for now. "She got away, but, it's okay as long as my friends are safe." She then saw a car coming at them. "Wendy, Carla!"

Natsu kicked the door open but didn't realize he kicked the door off its hinges. "Are you two okay?" He and Happy went over to them. "Good to see you're safe."

"Aye, glad that you're safe Carla." Happy cried.

"Yeah, but, don't you think that was extreme to kick that door off," Wendy pointed nervously.

Natsu turned and saw Konori looking down at him with a pissed-off look. "You realize that you just kicked one of my car's doors and it's broken off!" She roared looking angry. The fire dragon slayer whimpered with sweat dripping down his forehead.

"She's so scary when she's angry!" Lucy whimpered.

"So manly!" Elfman muttered.

"Gee, I don't want to get on her bad side," Yukino sweat dropped.

Misaka remembered her cell phone and called a certain boy.

Mirajane, Aquapad, and Lisanna were checking out the shore.

"I found this device!" Aquapad found a strange device. "Hmm, what this does?"

"Let me see it," Lisanna took hold of it and pressed a button.

"Whoever finds it must listen. I'm Fisher Lily of the Fish Tiger Pirates, I'm lost in this world with my crew while we were stuck in this world we learned magic that transformed us into a human." Aquapad, Lisanna, and Mirajane didn't say a word. "If whoever finds this tape is a friend, look for an RV vehicle and find us."

The three nodded as they left the area taking the tape recorder with them. Lisanna felt her portable commuciation lacrima. "Lisanna, are you there?"

"Big brother, what is it?" Lisanna asked.

"Big trouble, Wendy, Carla, and their new friend Misaka were just attacked, they're safe for now."

"What did you say?" Lisanna asked with shock.

Just as Vanessa and her crew were about to leave they heard Ms. Komoe talking to someone on the phone. "What, a monster attacked the city!?" The Fishmen halted and listened to the conversation. "I see, Touma's maid was also attacked and the mysterious girl was attacked too!?" She listened to her caller. "Understood, Anna, I shall meet you there." Once she opened the door she saw her new students were there still. "You guys, were you eavesdropping?"

Vanessa bowed her head. "Sorry for that for, we couldn't help but overhear it, but, this also concerns us, more than you think. Please allow us to accompany you." Ms. Komoe didn't understand why would they want to come along, but, she couldn't turn them down. "Very well, let's go."

Vanessa then saw Arista driving by. "Arista!" She called out stopping her crewmate. "Vanessa, what is going on, I heard there was a monster attacking the city!"

"Not sure, but we're heading to the hospital with Ms. Komoe, Touma's homeroom teacher!" Vanessa replied.

"I understand, let's go!"

The first attack is over for now. However, what will become later, and will Fairy Tail and their allies reveal the truth to Touma and his friends?
