Chapter 5: Anti-Tricked

It is nighttime in the city and everything appears to be peaceful. The lampposts were lit up, some people were minding their own business, and there were few cars on the streets. However, in a dark, shady alleyway, something suspicious was going on.

In the alleyway was an 11-year-old, thin and scrawny boy with shoulder-length black hair, pale skin, and dark brown eyes, wearing a torn black T-shirt under an olive green jacket. He had a padlock necklace around his neck, blue jeans, and black shoes with red at the bottom, and grey laces. On his left wrist, he wore what looked like a brown, makeshift replica of Reboot Ben's Omnitrix, with the dial symbol turned red and appearing in half, resembling a letter 'K', and with the addition of four metal protrusions ending in red lights.

The kid was contacting someone with the Omnitrix-like device. On the holographic screen was somebody in the shadows with red eyes.

"Do you have the location of both Tennysons?" the figure asked.

"No, but I know a lot about tracking them," the kid responded.

"I'd come over there to assist you in finding them with my expert tracking skills," the figure said, "but, you insisted that you can do this with Albedo's upgrades to your Antitrix. Besides, this is your hunt. I will lend my assistance from both me and my pet, in the time you need it. Just save my world's Ben Tennyson for me."

"Whatever," the kid said, "I just want my world's Ben Tennyson. You and the others can debate on what to do with the other one. I will find both of them."

"Do what you must," the figure said, "but do not fail, Kevin."

And with that, their conversation ended.

Two weeks later, at a mall during noon-ish…

There were many people in the mall shopping, browsing, or just hanging out. Both Bens, Both Gwens, Kevin, Rook, Zed, and Max were all there browsing for stuff and were talking about where they were going to be. They were all taking a break from two weeks of crime fighting.

"Okay, so if you guys need me, I'll be in that 'Furniture, Faucets, and Infinity' store looking for things to improve the Rustbucket," Max said, "Ben, Gwen, try to be on your best behavior. Sorry, my Ben and Gwen."

Max went into the store leaving everyone else to decide where they were going to go.

"So Gwen, what do you say, you and I go to 'Old Indigo'?" Prime Gwen asked, "I think they might have some clothes that will look cute on you."

"Sounds good to me," Reboot Gwen said.

"You guys do you," Kevin said, "I'll be in the auto-shop, looking for things I might be able to use to spruce up my car."

The three of them left, leaving the Bens and Rook to decide where to go.

"So, where do you two wish to go?" Rook asked.

"Dunno," Reboot Ben said.

"Not sure," Prime Ben said, "we could browse a bit and hang out until we find something to buy or do."

While Prime Ben and Rook were talking, Reboot Ben was observing his surroundings, until he noticed something. In the crowd, he saw Reboot Kevin in plain sight (still wearing the jacket). This shocked Reboot Ben.

"Guys look!" Reboot Ben shouted.

Prime Ben and Rook turned their heads to the direction Reboot Ben was pointing only to see nothing.

"Look at what younger, smaller Ben?" Rook asked.

Reboot Ben looked in the direction again, only to see that Kevin wasn't there.

"Sorry, I must have been seeing things. I thought I saw Kevin," Reboot Ben said.

"Then you must've been seeing things, Kevin went the other way, to the auto-shop," Prime Ben said.

"No," Reboot Ben said, "not your Kevin. My Kevin."

"That is rather concerning. You must have been seeing things," Rook said, "last I checked with your cousin Gwen, your Kevin got trapped in time and space."

"Maybe you just need something to keep your mind on," Prime Ben said, "What do you guys say, we go and get some lunch?"

Later at a food court…

Reboot Ben was still concerned about what he saw, he didn't know whether he really saw Reboot Kevin or if he was hallucinating from staying up ten minutes past his bedtime. Either way, he decided to eat his lunch to keep his mind off of it. Reboot Ben ordered a cheeseburger and a soda, Prime Ben ordered a large bowl of chili fries and a smoothie, and Rook ordered a salad and a water. After lunch, the gang decided to do some browsing.

They then went into a small clothing store. The Bens went shopping for cool-looking t-shirts, while Rook was looking for something that would catch his eye. Prime Ben tried on a bunch of t-shirts, but just settled on the hoodie that he was currently wearing. Reboot Ben tried on a red-orange patterned jacket along with a t-shirt that was blue on the top-half and white on the bottom-half, with two orange rectangles on the left pectoral.

"Not bad, but it looks too familiar," Prime Ben commented. (A mentioned congratulations to whoever noticed the reference in the clothing)

Reboot Ben also tried on a black shirt and a green jacket with white stripes and the number 10 on it.

"I remember that outfit," Prime Ben said, "Good times."

Reboot Ben also tried on a black shirt that has green stripes on the sides and in the middle with a white 10.

"I already have that look," Prime Ben said.

Reboot Ben was still buying the clothes regardless of his Prime counterpart's comments. He was now in his normal clothes. He then turned his attention towards the store window, where he thought he saw Reboot Kevin again. He decided to purchase his new clothes and go after what he thought he saw and confirm whether or not it was real. Meanwhile, Prime Ben and Rook were talking.

"I am not very sure about which one would look better on me," Rook said holding up two black sleeveless t-shirts, "Ink or Obsidian?"

"Dude, they both look the same to me," Prime Ben said.

"Actually they are two entirely different shades of black," Rook said.

"Right," Prime Ben said half-sarcastically, half-unsure.

"So which one should I get?" Rook asked.

"I don't care. They both look equally good. Mainly because they look practically the same. What do you think Ben?" Prime Ben asked only to get no response, "Uh… Ben?" Prime Ben asked again only to notice he wasn't there.

"Rook?" Prime Ben asked, "Have you seen the other me?"

"Was the younger alternative version of you not with you?" Rook asked.

"Oh man! We got to find him," Ben said rushing off. Rook followed him, but stopped at a mirror.

"Hmm… actually, I just noticed that Ink Black looks better. It compliments my eyes," Rook said, before purchasing his shirt and running off. Prime Ben stopped when he noticed that there were a lot of people everywhere.

"This is gonna be like finding a needle in a haystack," Prime Ben said.

"I do not think that haystacks contain needles," Rook said, "or is that an expression?"

"Gonna need someone good at tracking people down," Ben said as he dialed in one of his aliens. He slammed down on the Omnitrix and turned into an alien that appears to be a large dog with shaggy orange fur, and no eyes, ears, nose, or tail. His posture and movements are somewhat apelike. His teeth are very defined and stick out of his mouth, which have black lips. He has three gill-like nostrils located on each side of his neck. He has large forearms, and wears a green and white collar with the Omnitrix symbol on it. This alien is Wildmutt.

Wildmutt roared and then started sniffing with his gill-like nostrils. When he picked up a scent, he followed it to the source with Rook following him.

Meanwhile somewhere in the mall…

Reboot Ben was in one of the concourses looking around for what he thought was Reboot Kevin. However, Ben searched but had no leads.

"Man, I probably was just seeing things," Ben said, "I should probably head back to that t-shirt stop. Hopefully I didn't get too lost."

"Well, well, well," said a mysterious yet familiar voice, "Hello there Benny, how you doing? It's been a while."

Ben turned around and noticed that the voice belongs to Reboot Kevin.

"Kevin!?" Ben asked, "I knew. What are you doing here? And how come you're not trapped in time and space?"

"That last one is for me to know and for you to find out. But let's just say, I now have a couple employers who do wonders with inter dimensional prisons. Thanks for that by the way."

"What?" Ben asked, "I didn't want to leave you there. In fact, I tried to save you."

"Doesn't matter my employers want me to do what I want with you, and hand the other you over to them," Kevin said.

"Wait, you know about that?" Ben asked.

"More than you think," Kevin said, "One of my employers also upgraded my Antitrix so that I don't time out like you."

"No time outs?" Ben asked, "wait, that's what you're calling it? The Antitrix?"

"Yep," Kevin said, "and your friend is going to my boss, while you're just going down."

Kevin slammed on the Antitrix and transformed into a hulking, broad-shouldered alien covered in black metallic armor with dark red pearlescent on his upper arms, claws, lower torso and legs and red armor plating on his back, shoulders, and head. He has thirteen golden spikes, five on his head, six on his back, and one on each forearm. His exposed face and forearms are mostly white, with glowing red eyes. He has four claws on both of his hands and grey lips. The Antitrix symbol is on his chest. This alien was Wreckingbolt.

"Now let's rumble," Wreckingbolt said.

Wreckingbolt rolled straight towards Ben, only for Ben to dodge the attack. Wreckingbolt rolled at Ben again only for Ben to duck behind a pillar, stopping Wreckingbolt.

Wreckingbolt slammed on the Antitrix symbol again and turned into a humanoid alien that is approximately twelve feet tall, has well developed muscles, two pairs of arms with four-fingered hands, and pinkish purple skin with black markings on the arms. A black goatee can be seen on his chin, and he has four red eyes: a main pair, and a smaller pair below them. His fingertips are also red. He wears a sleeveless black bodysuit with red stripes and black boots, red spiked wristlets and iron shoulder pads. He wears the Antitrix symbol on his chest. This was Quad Smack.

Quad Smack roared and attempted to smash Ben only for him to evade his attacks. He grabbed a bench and threw it at Ben, who dodged it and slammed on his Omnitrix.

Ben turned into a hulking, broad-shouldered alien covered in natural, yellow armor plating on his back, shoulders, and the backs of his arms. He is predominantly white, with black on his upper half. He also has four white claws protruding from both of his paws. He has green eyes and considerably small, yet sharp teeth. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest. This is Cannonbolt.

Cannonbolt curled up into a sphere and rolled straight into Quad Smack, knocking him back. He rolled at Quad Smack again who retaliated by grabbing Cannonbolt, in spherical form, and threw him at the wall. Quad Smack was about to charge at Cannonbolt, only to be tackled by Prime Ben, as Wildmutt.

"Get off of me you mangy mutt!" Quad Smack yelled, only to receive a few scratches from Wildmutt. Quad Smack grabbed all four of Wildmutt's limbs with his four hands, and threw him at a wall. Wildmutt reacted and landed on the wall on all paws, and jumped towards Quad Smack again, tackling him before jumping off of him and turning back to Prime Ben. Rook appeared from where Wildmutt came from, with his Proto-Tool locked and loaded.

"So Ben," Prime Ben asked, "you gonna introduce me to your friend?"

Quad Smack turned back to normal revealing Reboot Kevin.

"Kevin Levin I presume," Ben said.

"Yeah," Kevin said, "And you must be the other Ben."

"How could you tell?" Ben rhetorically asked.

"I noticed you have the same sense of dweebines," Kevin replied.

"That's all you got? Either way, picking on kids is a low for you," Ben said unfazed.

"I did like your other look, especially the designer," Kevin said before showing Prime Ben the Antitrix.

"Wait, another Omnitrix?" Ben and Rook asked simultaneously.

Kevin slammed on the Antitrix and turned into an alien that resembles a heavily-armored Velociraptor. He has grayish green roller balls on his feet and wears a green conoid helmet that leaves his red eyes visible. He has predominantly green armor covering his tail and light green body. Underneath his armor, he wears a sleeveless black turtleneck bodysuit. He has dark green fins on his back, which are comparable to the dorsal fins of a fish. His elbows and legs are sharply pointed, and he has three claw-like fingers on each of his hands. He wears the Antitrix symbol on his chest. This is Rush.

"It's called the Antitrix, I made it myself. Now as Rush, I'll make you torment quick," Rush said as he charged at Ben before going after Rook, who shot lasers at him with his Proto-Tool.

"Okay, if you want to take on speedy Kevin, then take on XLR8," Ben said before slamming down on his Omnitrix. Ben turned into a phantom/ghost-like alien with a gaseous appearance and claw-like hands, and greenish-white skin with black lines running all over him. He has a green eye with a black pupil, and spikes on his elbows. He has green chains all over his front side which lead to his neck, waist, and center/chest, giving him the appearance of being contained in a straitjacket, but with his arms out freely, and he has two cuffs on each of his arms. The Omnitrix symbol is located at the center of his chains.

"Ghostfreak?" Ben, now as Ghostfreak, asked, "Okay seriously Omnitrix, if you're going to give me the wrong thing anyway, then why do you even have a dial?"

Rush disarmed Rook and was going to charge at him, but Ghostfreak phased from behind him and possessed Rush. While possessing Rush, Ghostfreak made him speed into several walls before phasing out of him, grabbing him with his black and purple striped tentacles, and throwing him into a rolling Cannonbolt. Rush got back up and threw a lot of objects at Ghostfreak with his fast speed, but Ghostfreak caused all of the objects to levitate in the air where they stood.

"Telekinesis?" Ghostfreak asked, "I didn't have that power as Ghostfreak before… or did I?"

Either way, Ghostfreak telekinetically put everything down, but lifted a bench with his telekinesis and threw it at Rush. Rush sped out of the way, and evaded Cannonbolt's rolling attack. Ghostfreak telekinetically lifted Rush, who was then netted by Rook, and hit by Cannonbolt. Cannonbolt unrolled himself and Rush was sent flying into a wall.

"Yep," Ghostfreak winced, "there's the collateral."

Ghostfreak made his way to Rush, "Don't mess with me or my buddies again."

However, Ghostfreak was hit by a blast of fire, which knocked him back. Ghostfreak got back up to see that Kevin was now a muscular magma-based lifeform whose body is composed of a dark orange inner magma body covered by olive green rocks on his torso, which turn dark red upon reaching his kneecaps and lower legs and they also cover his hands in the form of fingerless gloves. His face is brown with a well developed mandible and visible fangs, whereas his head has four dark orange and red spikes on top, in the style of a mohawk. His feet have a slight oval-like pattern with only two toes. The Antitrix symbol is located on his collarbone.

"Wait? Heatblast?" Ghostfreak asked.

"That's Hot Shot to you," Kevin, now as Hot Shot said.

"Okay, now you're just ripping off our aliens, don't you-" Ghostfreak was cut off by a realization, "Wait… how did you get from one alien to another so fast?"

"Because unlike you, I don't need to wait," Hot Shot said before slamming his hands to the ground. This created cracks in the ground that surrounded Ghostfreak, Cannonbolt, and Rook. Flaming lava-like pillars burst from these cracks.

"Hot Shot is not cool," Ghostfreak said.

"Says the guy about to be burnt to a crisp," Hot Shot responded.

"Ben, get inside of Cannonbolt," Rook said.

Cannonbolt then grabbed both Ghostfreak and Rook. He then rolled into a ball and rolled through the flames, and at Hot Shot, who blasted Cannonbolt, knocking him back. When Cannonbolt landed, he let Ghostfreak and Rook out of his shell, before both he and Ghostfreak turned back to normal.

"Alright Kevin, you better take your Ripoff-nitrix and hit the road," Prime Ben said.

"Yeah, we're about to take you down," Reboot Ben said.

"Surrender or suffer a humiliating defeat," Rook said.

"Sorry, how about I just go Crystalfist and pound you all to the ground," Hot Shot said before hitting his Antitrix symbol and flashing red. He transformed into a silicon-based life form. His body is composed of durable dark purple crystals. He sports two crystal shards on his back and has red eyes and a sharp point on his head. His shoulders sport spikes and his four-fingered hands are clawed. He wears a sleeveless black bodysuit, with a jagged V-shaped portion on his upper torso colored light purple. Six rib-shaped crystal formations surround the back of his waist. Crystal formations cover his knees like knee pads. He wears the Antitrix symbol on his chest. This alien was Crystalfist.

Crystalfist shapeshifted his hands into a bunch of crystals and fired a bunch of crystal shards like bullets from a machine gun. The three heroes dodged the attack and Rook fired concussive shots from his Proto-Tool at Crystalfist, who barely got knocked back. Both Bens slammed on their Omnitrices and were engulfed in a green light.

Reboot Ben turning into Jetray. While Prime Ben turned into a tall, muscular humanoid, plant-like alien that has an overall green colored body, mostly with a yellow, red, and orange colored, flame-patterned head with a visible chin. His eyes are oval-shaped with points at each end. Also, his shoulders and head have red petals and his elbows and legs have green frills sticking out and root-like feet, seemingly holding black rocks. His hands are colored black, with four yellow claws, with spikes on the knuckles, and yellow holes in the palms. He has six red horns with yellow spots (aesthetically resembling flames); two on each forearm, and one on each shoulder, as well as a green horn on each foot, knee, and elbow. He now has a large collar raised up around his neck, which is yellow on the inside. The Omnitrix symbol is on his stomach. This is Swampfire.

Crystalfist blasted a crystal encasing beam at Jetray, who was flying and dodged the attack and fired neuroshock beams from his eyes at Crystalfist who made his arm into a shield to reflect the beams back at Jetray, who dodged them. Swampfire blasted fire at Crystalfist but Crystalfist dodged it and fired shards at Swampfire. These impaled him, but he got them out of himself and regenerated. Swampfire launched more fire blasts at Crystalfist before charging at him and igniting his fists. Swampfire punched Crystalfist a few times, which did significant damage to him. Crystalfist regenerated from it though.

"Oh great, so you can regenerate too," Swampfire said in an annoyed tone, "Well that won't help much when you're buried like an actual crystal."

Swampfire then stomped his foot and a bunch of large vines surrounded Crystalfist. He tried to cut the vines, but they kept coming. The vines wrapped around Crystalfist and dragged him underground, burying him.

"Did we beat him?" Jetray asked.

"Not sure," Swampfire said, "But I don't think that's going to hold him."

Right on cue, Crystalfist burst out from the ground.

"Hey, what do you know. Swampfire is psychic," Swampfire said sarcastically.

Crystalfist hit the Antitrix and turned into a cerulean metallic alien. He has two tubes that extend from his head and has black mask-like markings around his red eyes. He has two tubes of swamp green slime reaching from a respirator where his mouth should be to his chest, and his forearms have orange and gray canisters filled with slime. He has black four-fingered hands and three black toes on each foot. He also has a gray protrusion on top of his head with black openings on the front and back that each have three red buttons. He wears the Antitrix symbol on his chest. This is Undertow.

Undertow blasted both Jetray and Swampfire with a large tidal wave of swamp-like water, sending Jetray to the ceiling, before he fell down, and Swampfire to the space between two escalators.

"Yuck, do I even want to know what this stuff is?" Swampfire asked, disgusted.

"Doesn't matter," Undertow said, "Because your other self might drown in it."

Undertow was about to shoot Jetray but noticed he was gone.

"Where'd he go?" Undertow asked before a vine grabbed him by the leg and threw him.

This vine belonged to a plant-like humanoid who has two arms with four fingers on each hand. His hands are covered with leaves and he has spikes on his hands and elbows. His hands and feet are dark green, and his body, arms, legs, and head are lime green. He has vines on his arms, and wrinkles on his stomach, neck, and a portion of his legs. He has a large dark green leaf connected to his back and torso and has dark green lips. He has one blue eye, and a lime green leaf acting as a collar around his neck. He also has large, dark green seeds on his back. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest. This was Reboot Ben's version of Wildvine.

"Alright Kevin, you're about to get vined." Wildvine said before turning his hand into a plant-like tentacle and using it to throw Undertow towards Swampfire, who grew four tentacles from his back and caught Undertow and threw him to the ground.

"You know," Wildvine said, "Swampfire is a pretty cool guy. He's like a combo of Heatblast and Wildvine."

"You want a plant battle?" Undertow asked, "I'll give you a plant battle!"

Undertow hit his Antitrix and turned into a plant-like humanoid with bulgy arms and legs that are orange, olive green, brownish green, and yellow, with black clawed hands and feet and three spikes on each of his arms. He has a bulgy yellow and black head, dark gray lips, and a brownish green leaf on his back and torso, as well as bulgy brownish and light green shoulders. He also has a yellow and orange leaf acting as a collar around his neck. Instead of seeds on his back, two thorn-covered vines are on his back. He has one red eye. He wears the Antitrix symbol on his chest. This was Thornblade.

Thornblade used his tentacles to grab Wildvine, but was set ablaze by Swampfire. This sent Thornblade to the ground, and he started rolling to put out the fire. Thornblade retaliated by shooting thorn-like projectiles at both heroes. Both heroes dodged the attack, and launched their own thorn projectiles at Thornblade.

"Time to wrap this up," Wildvine said. But he unfortunately timed out.

"Uh… we can just talk about this right?" Reboot Ben asked.

Thornblade was going to crush Ben, but Swampfire got into an arm-lock with him. Thornblade got the upper hand however, and threw Swampfire into the window of a store.

A few seconds earlier with the Gwens…

"So, think this will look good on you?" Prime Gwen asked her Reboot counterpart as she held a light-blue sleeveless dress with a blue ribbon around the waist and a blue bow in the back.

"I think I will look good in it. I'm going to go try it on," Reboot Gwen said.

Just then, Swampfire crashed through the window. Both Gwens went to him to see the damage.

"Ben, what happened?" Prime Gwen asked.

"And what is that awful smell?" Reboot Gwen asked as she covered her mouth and nose.

"Either that smell is Swampfire's natural smell, or the water I soaked with by Kevin's Overflow rip-off," Swampfire responded.

"Kevin? Overflow rip-off?" Reboot Gwen asked, "Uh-oh."

Just then, Reboot Ben passed them while being chased by another one of Kevin's aliens, who was shooting acid at him. This one was an insect humanoid with red skin and red eyes and wears golden armor. He has a set of brown wings on his back with a pair of golden pads protecting them. He has a big chin and a grey horn. He is also the same size as Four Arms, and wears the Antitrix symbol on his chest. This is Skunkmoth.

"Wait," Prime Gwen said, "Is that supposed to be your Kevin?"

"Yep," Reboot Gwen said.

"I'll handle this," Prime Gwen said.

Prime Gwen proceeded to throw a bunch of pink bolts of electricity-like mana attacks at Skunkmoth, who retaliated by turning into another alien. This alien was a red-skinned, frog/demon-like, bipedal alien that is significantly taller than Grey Matter. His limbs and fingers are long and slender, with his fingers having claws. He has two front toes and one back toe on each foot, which are also pointy. He has large glowing red eyes with minus-shaped pupils, seemingly lacking the black outlines other Galvan have. On his head are two horn-like growths. He wears a grey vest over a black sleeveless jumpsuit with two black stripes going around the middle of his chest where the Antitrix symbol is located. This alien is Dark Matter.

"Wait, how'd your Kevin's Grey Matter get taller?" Prime Gwen asked, "Oh whatever, he's going down anyway."

Prime Gwen launched a few more bolts of mana, but Dark Matter dodged them and launched crystallizing flames at her, which she dodged.

Prime Kevin and Zed had shown up. "What's going on?" Prime Kevin asked, "I got a call from younger Gwen that I was needed."

Prime Kevin then noticed his Reboot counterpart.

"I'm assuming you're this world's version of me," Prime Kevin said.

"Yes," Dark Matter said, "so, you gonna join me in taking out both our Bens?"

"Actually," Prime Kevin said, absorbing the material of the tiles on the ground, "I'm gonna stop you from hurting my friends."

Dark Matter then realized that Prime Kevin and Zed were not on his side, so before either of them could hit him, he encased them in his crystals, before Prime Kevin turned back to normal.

"You're on their side?" Dark Matter asked before turning back to normal, "How could you do this to yourself? Aren't you against any of these guys in any way?"

"Was against them. But I got over it," Prime Kevin said, "Maybe you should do the same and be a better person."

"As if," Reboot Kevin said, "I'm not joining Dweebyson like you did."

"Your Gwen told me a lot about you," Prime Kevin said, "how you were your Ben's bully, how you used that Omnitrix knockoff to fight him to prove that you're better than him. I think you're only doing this because you can't stand to see someone else in the spotlight, can you? You just don't want to let anyone else win, do you? Understand that it's not about who wins or who loses, it's about what's right."

"What do you know," Reboot Kevin asked, "you may be me, but you don't know me."

"Well, I know you're a copycat," Prime Kevin said.

"He has a point," Swampfire said, "Face it, none of those aliens are original. You just copied them as a means of showing the other me up. Nothing about those aliens are original. Heck, the Antitrix in itself is just an Omnitrix wannabe."

"You want original?" Reboot Kevin asked, "I'll give you something original."

Reboot Kevin slammed down on the Antitrix and turned into an alien that looked similar to a husky or werewolf. He has bluish grey and cream colored fur, with sharp claws on each hand and foot. He has four fingers on each hand, three toes on each foot, and a small tail. His eyes and the inside of his mouth are red. He wears a dark orange and red armored vest, black pants, black gauntlets, and an iron shoulder pad on his right shoulder. He has the Antitrix symbol in the center of his vest. This is Bashmouth.

"What the heck is that!?" Swampfire asked in a surprised tone.

"This guy?" Bashmouth asked, "I like to call him…"

Bashmouth then smashed his fists on the ground, creating a bunch of stone pillar-like spikes to form from the ground in front of Swampfire. Bashmouth then smashed through them all, by lunging himself at Swampfire.

"BASHMOUTH!" He roared.

Bashmouth's teeth turned metal, before he bit Swampfire by the neck, shook him like a chew toy, and threw him across the mall, causing him to hit the wall. When Swampfire tried to get up, Bashmouth punched him. Swampfire then turned back to normal.

"I think I broke my everything bone," Prime Ben said.

"I'll break the rest of you later," Bashmouth said before pointing to Reboot Ben, "and as for you. You and I have unfinished business."

Bashmouth was then hit by a laser which came from Rook, who came back into the fight after having the area cleared of civilians.

"I order you to stand down," Rook said before firing he launched another laser arrow at Bashmooth. Bashmouth hit the Antitrix again and turned into a different alien. This alien was a technological humanoid with a black torso, arms, and legs and blue wrists, feet, and shoulders. He has blue stripes that extend from his body, resembling circuitry, and two large spiky balls on his back. There is a red dot on the front of his head that is his eye, and the Antitrix symbol is located on his chest. This is Bootleg.

"Oh, Bootleg is going to make you regret that," Bootleg said.

"Bootleg? Yeah, that doesn't sound like a rip-off at all," Prime Ben sarcastically said before getting back up.

Rook fired another arrow at Bootleg, who shapeshifted a hole in his body to avoid the arrow, and charged at Rook, fusing with his Proto-Tool, he then charged at a car and morphed into a large humanoid robot with a bulky torso that is made of a car with the license plate. At its ankles are four of the car's tires, with two additional tires at its shoulders. It has spiked shoulder guards and exhaust pipes coming out of its back. It has two big, mechanical arms on the sides, which have spikes coming out of it and blue circles on the palms. It has four tentacles coming out of its back. The entire thing is colored black with blue circuitry and has a red eye in the center of it's dome shaped head, and the Antitrix symbol on its chest.

"Hahaha, you guys are gonna regret not surrendering when you had the chance," Bootleg said. He then fired a net at Rook and both Gwens, restraining them. And grabbed Reboot Ben, whose Omnitrix was still timed out.

"Now where were we?" Bootleg asked, "Oh right, I had you scheduled for a major clobbering."

Knowing he had to act quickly, Prime Ben used what little strength he had to activate his Omnitrix. He pushed down on it and he was restored to full condition and transformed into a somewhat muscular humanoid alien with a black body, one green eye in the middle of his head, two long antennae and a long tail with round plugs on their tips, four-fingered hands, and feet with only two front toes. He has a green chest color and square plugs on the tips of his fingers. He also has gold battery bolts on his shoulders, arms, and hips, and wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest. This alien was called Feedback.

OST - Ben 10 Omniverse Unreleased Soundtrack: Feedback Theme

Feedback blasted Bootleg, electrocuting him, dealing him great pain and causing him to drop Reboot Ben.

"Sorry Kid Kevin," Feedback said smirking, "but I'm about to rearrange your schedule and your face."

Bootleg turned his left arm into an energy cannon and blasted a large red beam at Feedback. Unfazed, Feedback crossed his arms and extended his antennae out forward, absorbing the energy blast.

"Cute," Feedback said, "But try this on for size."

Feedback then blasted all the absorbed energy back at Bootleg in the form of blue electricity, electrocuting him again. Feedback then ran straight at Bootleg, who fired a barrage of missiles at Feedback, who dodged them all, jumped on one of them, and unleashed electricity from his antennae straight at Bootleg. He then attached both his antennae to Bootleg's shoulders and shocked him, similar to a taser, knocking him back.

"Wow," Reboot Ben said, "awesome alien. What do you call him? Livewire? Plug Power?"

"I call this one Feedback," Feedback replied.

"Cool," Reboot Ben said.

"I guess Bootleg isn't very tolerant about electricity," Feedback said, "You wouldn't happen to have an electric guy on your Omnitrix, would you?"

"Actually, I do," Reboot Ben responded.

He slammed on his Omnitrix

Reboot Ben was in green background as rocks cover his body as suddenly eletricity covered the rocks as he shoots out of it all

Reboot Ben had turned into a humanoid alien whose body appears to mainly consist of blue energy. There are four spikes protruding from both of his shoulders. His arms are rather large, stretching down nearly to his feet in resting position. His arms, chest, and legs are rock-like. His eyes are green and a moss-like substance can be seen around his neck and shoulders, and he wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest. This was Shock Rock.

"I call this guy Shock Rock," Reboot Ben, as Shock Rock, said.

"Nice," Feedback said, "Kind of wish I had that one."

Bootleg got back up and swung his tentacles at the duo, much to Shock Rock's dismay. They dodged the tentacles, and Feedback even jumped onto one and ran up it before jumping up and delivering an electric drop kick to Bootleg's face. Shock Rock used his electric powers to create an energy boomerang dubbed "The Bluemerang". He threw it at Bootleg, and it hit him in the chest. Bootleg retaliated by turning both his hands into energy cannons and blasting Shock Rock, knocking him back. He blasted at a Shock Rock again, but this time Shock Rock put his hands out and absorbed the energy before redirecting it back at Bootleg.

"We're going to need a lot of juice if we're gonna take him out," Shock Rock said.

"I got an idea," Feedback said, "Can you conduct energy into other objects?"

Feedback just got a confused look from Shock Rock so he dumbed it down a little.

"Can your electric blasts go through other objects?" Feedback asked.

"Oh. I don't know," Shock Rock said, "I haven't tested something like that."

"Then let's start testing," Feedback replied.

Feedback asked where he could plugin his antennae and Shock Rock told him that his shoulder spikes might be a good option. Bootleg charged at the two heroes with both his cannons ready to fire.

"Are you ready for this?" Feedback asked.

"Yeah, I'm ready," Shock Rock said in a confident tone.

Feedback then attached his antennae to the two frontal spikes on both of Shock Rock's shoulders as Shock Rock grabbed both antennae, siphoning the Fulmini energy through both their bodies.

"Then let's turn on the power, shall we?" Feedback said.

Bootleg blasted both his cannons at the duo. Shock Rock was then engulfed in an electric aura and Feedback reached both his hands out and released a large bolt of electricity. When both attacks clashed, Feedback and Shock Rock's electricity went straight through the laser, and electrocuted Bootleg enough to separate him from the car and Proto-Tool. When the bright light show died down, Bootleg reformed himself before turning back into Reboot Kevin, who dropped unconscious, while the car and Proto-Tool were strangely untouched. Feedback and Shock Rock turned back into both Bens and they went to free the others before going up to Reboot Kevin.

"Come Kid Kevin," Prime Ben said, "Bootleg's not the only evil Galvanic Mechamorph that I've fought."

"So, what are we gonna do with him? Turn him in to the police, or do your plumbers operate outside of your universe?" Reboot Ben asked.

They couldn't decide in time though, because in a red flash of light, Reboot Kevin disappeared.

"Where did he go?" Reboot Gwen asked.

"I don't know," Prime Gwen responded, "I can't sense him anywhere."

"Wherever he is, he probably is not accompanied alone," Rook said.

"Now that you say it, he did mention having an employer," Reboot Ben said.

"Did he mention who his employer was?" Prime Kevin asked.

"No," Reboot Ben answered, "He just said that it's for him to know, and for-"

"You to find out?" Prime Kevin asked, finishing his sentence.

"Yeah," Reboot Ben said.

"Either way, I have a feeling that we will not be witnessing the last of him," Rook said.

"He'll come back eventually," Prime Ben said, "in the meantime, what do guys say we finish shopping?"

Zed barked.

And with that, the gang went off, Rook reclaiming his Proto-Tool.

A few minutes later…

The janitor came sweeping the floors. He was a middle-aged man with peach skin, brown eyes, and grey hair and a beard. He wore a green uniform that included a shirt, pants, and a hat.

He was sweeping until he noticed the damage caused to the concourse. He paused for a moment, took a deep breath, and just sighed. He then continued sweeping.

Meanwhile on a spaceship somewhere in space…

Reboot Kevin was in a room that appeared to be the living quarters. It's most notable aspect was how it was decorated in trophies and remains of many different species including a Geochelone Aerio shell, an Appoplexian skeleton with a cracked skull, a Vulpimancer pelt, a Talpaedan arm, a Crabdozer head, a Chronosapien chest plate, a Vaxasaurian skull, an evolved Vaxasaurian helmet, another large helmet, a large sword, a metal hook that appears to be part of an arm, another large skull, a shield, and many other trophies.

There was a man in the shadows, in a chair that was facing in the opposite direction of Kevin. The man was the same person that Kevin talked to earlier in the alleyway. Beside the man was an alien with an animalistic body, who looked similar to a mix of a sabretooth cat and a hyena, with red eyes, large, sharp saber-teeth and a small horn on the top of its dog-like nose. The hair on its stomach, legs, tail and muzzle are crimson red, while the hair on its back, head, and back of its forelegs and tail are black. It had sharp claws, a tail with a sharp hook at the end of it, and a mane like a dire wolf. This was a predatory creature called a Panuncian. The Panuncian also wears a red spiked collar on its neck. On the collar is a device shaped like a hexagon that is colored red and silver, with a symbol on it that looks like an open mouth with sharp teeth. The Panuncian was currently gnawing on a bone.

"That defeat I was given was quite humiliating," Kevin said, "I did not count on your Ben having more versatile aliens than mine."

"If you had heeded my and Albedo's warnings, and if you had truly known your enemy, you wouldn't have had that problem," the man said, "And I would not have needed to use the interdimensional teleporter given to us by the Vilgaxs to rescue you."

"I'm going back on my own," Kevin said, "I can prove that I can take on both Tennysons this time."

"Doubt it, I will be accompanying you on your hunt. I've seen that even with the Master Control unlocked for your Antitrix, your arrogance will be the driving force behind your losses," the man said.

"Don't patronize me," Kevin said, "I don't need help from Albedo or two squid people, and I certainly don't need any help from you I-"

"Kevin Ethan Levin," the man said in an intimidating tone, cutting him off, "You should be thankful, Albedo gave you the plans for your Antitrix, and I taught you how to properly use it. Have you learned nothing from those past 2 weeks I spent teaching you? Did I go through the trouble of rescuing you from that space-time prison and taking you in as my pupil for nothing?"

"N-No Sir," Kevin said, "I am… I am sorry. It won't happen again."

"That's what I thought," the man said, "So, I'm taking matters into my own hands now. I'm coming along with my pet and assisting you on your next hunt. Consider it a bit of teacher-student-bonding time."

Kevin replied, "Yes Master Khyber."

The man, now dubbed "Khyber", stepped out of the shadows revealing his appearance. He has a black suit covering his upper body with a red stripe in the middle and grey pants. He has grey gauntlets and a grey belt, as well as black boots with grey soles. He wears bones as ornamentation over his clothes, the broken up skeletal remains of the creatures he has hunted, which consists of a rib cage on his chest, tail bone on his right shoulder, a skull of a horned animal on his left shoulder, ribs covering the back of his black suit and boots, and claws on his shoes. The only part of his body that is exposed is his face, which is turquoise with a large lower jaw. His jaw has sharp teeth fused with his lips. He has dark red sunken eyes. He also has gills under his cheeks.

"Good," Khyber said, "then we wait to stalk our prey when they least expect it."

To be continued…
