Some months before the SOG rise, while on a mission Lloyd finds the new elemental master of wind. Training her till the SOG attacks, Ava will meat the team and make connections, especially with a certain Ninja of ice. When Zane rebuilt himself after defeating the Overlord, he was interrupted before finishing. A couple of memory chips, a few data banks, and a lot of height was left behind. The reconstructed Zane has the mind of a child and the body to match. He doesn't know what's going on, where his father is, or who any of these strange people who seem to know him are. Separated from the Ninja with no way to contact them due to the lack of internet service, Lloyd has no choice but to walk back to Ninjago on foot.

What if Jay got asthma from having seawater in his lungs? After Seabound Jay is dealing with a trifecta of issues; grief from losing Nya, PTSD from almost drowning, and a new medical diagnosis which he is doing his best to ignore. His asthma episodes and emotional spiraling form a feedback loop, making everything worse. At some point Jay needs to admit, he just can't do this alone.

With the Munce and Geckles on edge, believing each side stole their blade, a truce meeting between them is called forth to fight against the true culprit: The Skull Sorcerer
