Chapter 58.
My name is Toya!
Chimera looks at his rival. - "Are you sure you want to do this?"- Chimera asked. – "Just give me the boy and I promise that your death will be painless."-
- "Hmm... Tempting... but I think I'd better finish you off!"- Dabi said as he places his hands on the ground and a pillar of fire comes out of Chimera's feet.
However, Chimera destroys the fire pillar with one blow. – "Very well... if this is how you want things to be..."- Chimera said as he smiles and lights his cigarette with his fire breath. – "This time I won't hold back!"-
Dabi prepares to continue fighting while several feathers emerge from Chimera's forearms. – "Me and my big mouth... now let's see how I get out of this..."- Dabi thought.
- "You're brave... just the way I like it!"- Chimera said to quickly attack Dabi with a punch, Dabi jumps to avoid the blow which creates a crater upon impact.
- "This is going to hurt..."- Dabi said as he surrounds his arm with fire and attacks Chimera.
Chimera easily catches Dabi's fist and then punches him in the stomach, knocking him down. – "So weak…"- He said.
Dabi quickly attacks Chimera with a blast of blue fire, but he waves his arms and creates a blast of wind that disperses the fire, however, when he shoots the fire, Dabi is no longer there and appears behind Chimera and tries to attack him with a burst of fire at close range, but Chimera easily perceives Dabi and takes him by the arm before he can shoot and throws him against some rocks.
Dabi gets up after the impact against the rocks. – "Damn... Why do I always get into fights like this?"- He thought.
- "This is the difference between you and me..."- Chimera said as he slowly approaches Dabi. – "I'll give you one more chance... give up and hand the boy over to me and your death will be painless."-
Dabi spits blood and then creates fire. - "Please... we are just getting started..."- Dabi said and then fired a burst of blue fire at Chimera who attacked with his fire breath.
The two attacks hit but this does not stop Chimera who spits out his cigarette and charges at Dabi through the smoke created by the attacks, however when he approaches him suddenly blue fire explodes in his chest. – "What the…"-
- "Fire traps... do you like them?"- Dabi said. – "I put several of these everywhere...be careful where you step!"-
- "I don't care how many traps there are here!"- Chimera said as he charges at Dabi again. – "You won't stop me with that!"-
Dabi waits for Chimera to approach and attacks him with a burst of fire at close range, however Chimera emerges from the fire and attacks him with a punch to the stomach and then scratches him in the chest with its claws.
Dabi falls to the ground a couple of meters away from Chimera who watches him with a sadistic smile waiting to see him bleed out, but to his surprise that doesn't happen, he just looks at how his chest now has burn scars. – "What the…"- Chimera wonders and then sees his claws, there is fur on them, Chimera smells them and realizes what's happening. – "Synthetic skin... you are hiding something..."- Chimera said.
- "Looks like I'll have to thank Garaki for the skin... if it weren't for that... this wouldn't have ended well..."- Dabi said as he gets up from the ground. – "I guess it doesn't matter anymore... the time of going unnoticed is over!" –
- "Stop talking nonsense!" - Chimera charges at Dabi, but he releases a large amount of fire from his body and attacks him with a burst of fire stronger than the previous ones, this time forcing Chimera to cover himself with his arms. – "His attacks are stronger... He was holding back..."- He thought.
Suddenly, Dabi appears in front of him, but this time all the patches of synthetic skin were burned, finally revealing his burns which leave Chimera surprised for a few seconds. – "Surprised?!"- Taking advantage of Chimera's surprise, Dabi attacks him with a burst of fire directly to the face. – "These are the consequences of my father's ambition!"-
Suddenly, Chimera's hand grabs Dabi's face. – "So this happens when you use your quirk..."- Chimera said as the smoke disperses and it is seen how his face is practically unscathed from the attack. – "My condolences... it must have been difficult... but that won't make me spare your life!"-
Chimera slams Dabi into the ground and then tries to hit him but Dabi releases fire throughout his body forcing Chimera to back away. – "I don't want your pity!"- Dabi said angrily. – "This is a reminder of why I do things!"-
Dabi creates a sphere of fire and throws it at Chimera, who breaks it with one blow. – "Soon they will all pay for all the suffering they caused me!"- Dabi attacks with a burst of blue fire even larger than the previous ones. – "I don't need anything more to move forward than the ambition to end everything that family represents!"-
Suddenly, the gust of fire is destroyed by a gust of wind, revealing Chimera but with slight burns and his trench coat gone as it was burned. - "You are motivated by hatred and revenge... I like you!"- Chimera said as he punches Dabi in the face. – "But your goals are stupid!"-
Dabi recovers in the air and puts his hands on the ground. – "I didn't ask for your opinion!"- Suddenly the ground lights up blue and a large amount of fire comes out of several cracks and surrounds Chimera. – "You are no one to tell me how to live my life!" –
The ground beneath Chimera explodes in a gust of fire, but he jumps and creates a gust of wind to avoid being hurt, then fires his fire breath at Dabi. – "Your hatred is great... but your ambition is stupid!"- Quimera said. – "When Nine gets what he wants we will finally achieve our goal!"-
Dabi stomps his foot and surrounds himself with a circle of fire which deflects Chimera's attack. - "I don't care what you or your boss want..."- Dabi said as he gathered a large amount of fire in his hands. – "You will all die!"-
Dabi attacks Chimera with a strong blue flare but Chimera again destroys the attack with a gust of wind. – "You do not get it..."- Chimera said appearing in front of Dabi. – "When we will reach our goal... only the strong will be the ones who matter!"-
Dabi flies off and crashes into several trees until he falls to the ground.
Dabi coughs as he tries to catch his breath and get up, Chimera lands a few meters in front of him. – "You see... your ambition is weak... if it were strong you would have already defeated me."- Chimera said. – "Your hatred is strong... that is true... but your ambition, your goal is weak..."-
- "I think I already told you..."- Dabi said as he stands up and smoke comes out of his body. – "I don't give a damn what you think!"- Dabi surrounds his arm with a large amount of fire, causing it to start burning, and then releases it creating a tornado of fire that engulfs Chimera.
This time the attack does cause some damage to Chimera who is surprised to recognize the attack. – "Hellfire Storm… Endeavor's attack..."- He thought.
- "Die!"- Dabi shouted as he placed his hands on the ground creating a large pillar of fire from the ground beneath Chimera. – "Hell's Minefield!"- However this causes some burns to Dabi's body, mainly his hands and arms, as he is using his quirk carelessly.
However, Chimera emerges from the fire, with some burns, and headbutts Dabi. – "You are very stupid... but those attacks..."- Chimera said. – "Don't tell me you're Endeavor's son!"-
This makes Dabi's blood burn with fury. – "Don't ever relate me to that bastard again!" - Dabi said attacking Chimera with a burst of fire.
- "That means I'm right!"- Chimera said as he hits Dabi with a strong blow in the stomach, and then in the face to slam him into the ground creating a crater. – "To be his son... you are too weak."-
Chimera looks at Dabi, who seems not to move or breathe. – "Looks like you finally died..."- Chimera said. – "Now... it's time to go after the boy..."-
Chimera begins to walk back to the area where he separated from Slice and Mummy. - "Now... who am I going with..."- He thought. – "If I go with Mummy we could both take down the guy who created the clones and thus reveal the real Katsuma... but what if the real one is with Slice..."-
At that realization hit Chimera. – "Wait a minute... the real one..."- He thought.
- "Well, you better make a decision... who has the real one?"- Chimera remembers Dabi's words.
– "The three Katsumas smelled the same... my nose must have been able to detect the real one... but all three had the same smell..."- He thought. – "All three were clones... all three were fakes!"-
- "Bastards... they played us!"- Chimera said. – "The real one must be right where we separated, it had its essence... but I got distracted by the clones... But now I know where you are! Katsuma!"-
Chimera wastes no time and heads at full speed to the area where he separated from his companions, however, he doesn't notice that Dabi gets up. – "Damn... he discovered the deception!"- Dabi thought as he begins to concentrate fire on his feet. – "I have to stop him! Damn old man... why do I have to use your techniques?"-
Dabi uses his accumulated fire to start flying, imitating Endeavor, and follow Chimera.

Meanwhile with Katsuma, he is at the point where everyone separated alone, out of nowhere his sister left in the same direction where Toga and Slice left. – "Mahoro... why did you leave? Please come back."- Katsuma said while trying to stay calm. – "Everything will be fine... everyone is doing their best to defeat these villains..."-
Suddenly Chimera lands in front of him, making him fall on his buttocks to the ground. – "Y-You!"- Katsuma said with fear.
- "I found you... Katsuma!"- Chimera said.
- "I-If you are here... that means that..."- Katsuma said. – "Big bro Toya…"-
- "The blue fire boy is dead... they have failed to protect you!"- Chimera said while reaching out his hand towards Katsuma, but at that...
- "I would think twice..."- Dabi said appearing next to Chimera and attacking his face with a burst of fire. – "Damn it kid! Get the hell out of here!"-
- "Big bro Toya!"- Mahoro said emotionally but then notices Dabi's burns. – "Y-Your body... you're hurt!"-
- "That's none of your business! Get out of here!"- Dabi said as he attacks Chimera with more fire, but he resists it.
- "His body is burned...don't tell me this is self-inflicted..."- Katsuma said. – "He's risking his body to save me..."-
Chimera easily resists Dabi's attack and hits him to make him fall next to Katsuma. – "You are still alive... my mistake for not ensuring your death."- Chimera said. – "It won't happen again!"-
- "Don't take another step!"- Dabi said.
- "Or what?"- Chimera asked.
- "Or your boss will leave this island empty-handed!"- Dabi said.
- "Oh yeah? How will that be?"- Chimera asked.
Dabi gathers fire in his right palm, but he doesn't point it at Chimera, he points it at Katsuma. – "Because I will kill the boy!"- Dabi said.
This surprises both Chimera and Katsuma, the latter also gets scared. – "You wouldn't dare!"- Chimera said. – "Heroes don't kill innocents!"-
- "That's where you're wrong... I'm no hero!"- Dabi said with a sadistic smile. – "Tell me... do you dare to take a step?" –
- "Big bro Toya… why?"- Katsuma said.
- "Shut up brat... our mission is not to save you... it's to make sure Nine doesn't get your quirk and kill him!"- Dabi said. – "Nothing more and nothing less! It's not my fault that the green-haired moron is an idiot and wants to save you!"-
- "So that's it…"- Chimera said with a smile. – "Let's see if what you say is true..."-
Chimera steps forward causing Dabi to increase the amount of fire, but he doesn't attack Katsuma.
- "What's going on? Aren't you supposed to kill him if I take a step?"- Chimera said as he begins to slowly walk towards Dabi and Katsuma. – "Come on... kill him!"-
Dabi turns to look at Katsuma. – "Why?! Why can't I kill him?!"- He thought. – "Wouldn't it be the first boy I killed... why can't I now?!"-
- "Big bro Toya…"- Katsuma said.
Suddenly Dabi starts seeing a boy with white and red hair. – "Big brother Toya! Please can you teach me that movement?"-
- "Shoto…"- Dabi thought. – "Why?"-
- "Maybe if I impress dad I can finally play with you!"- Kid Shoto said.
- "Very well... but don't tell dad that I showed you this."- Those words echo in his head. – "It will be a secret between brothers."-
Dabi lowers his arm, his fire going out. – "I… I can't…"- He said.
- "In the end you are just talk."- Chimera said. – "How pathetic you are!" –
- "Don't say that to big bro Toya!"- Katsuma said. – "He is very brave for risking his life!"-
Toya opens his eyes, even though he tried to kill him, Katsuma defends him. - "He tried to kill you... are you seriously defending him?"- Chimera said.
- "Stop making fun of big bro Toya!"- Katsuma said.
- "Pathetic…"- Chimera said.
Dabi clenches his fists and suddenly releases a large amount of fire. – "Don't you dare lay a finger on him..."- Dabi said. – "You won't lay a finger on my little brother!"-
Suddenly Dabi appears in front of Chimera and hits him with a strong punch in the face which, to Chimera's surprise, makes him back down. – "His strength increased!"- He thought. – "Wow... looks like you got attached to the boy!"-
- "I don't deserve it... but if he trusts me..."- Suddenly Dabi's fire begins to increase in temperature as it becomes wilder as it surrounds his body, this causes Dabi to begin to burn little by little. – "I can't let him down! Flashfire Fist!"-
Using Endeavor's technique, Dabi increases the temperature of his fire to the maximum, ready to attack with all his power. – "What's going on?!" -Chimera thought.
- "My name is Toya!"- Dabi screamed at the top of his lungs. – "And I will give everything to protect this boy!"-
Chimera tries to attack Dabi with a punch but he dodges it and positions himself in front of him. – "Die!"- Dabi shouts as he hits Chimera with a powerful fire punch. – "Jet Burn!"- After hitting Chimera, Dabi releases a large amount of fire which drags Chimera through the forest while burning him.
After a few seconds Dabi puts out his fire.
- "Big bro Toya!"- Katsuma said as he approaches Dabi.
- "Brat... are you okay?"- Dabi asked.
- "Y-Yes!" – Katsuma said. – "But you... you got hurt when using your quirk..."-
Indeed, Dabi's body is in a worse state than it was before, now the entire right part of his body is burned, while the left has some extra burns. – "That doesn't matter... the important thing is that you're okay."- Dabi said.
- "You impress me boy... that attack could have killed me!"- Chimera said surprising both Katsuma and Dabi by returning.
However, this time Chimera's appearance is different, more monstrous. – "If I hadn't unleashed all my power you would have killed me!"-
In his monstrous form, Chojuro expanded his animal features to more immense proportions, increasing in both size and muscle mass. Horns grew on his head, as well as numerous feathers on his forearms. Most of Chojuro's clothes ended up destroyed due to the transformation.
- "Impossible…"- Dabi thought. - "Katsuma, get out of here!"-
- "Now you'll see why they call me a monster!"- Chimera said while, this time, he shoots a laser ball from his mouth.
Dabi uses his fire to dodge the ball but the explosion knocks him down. – "My body is too weak to move... and with that shape my fire won't be able to do anything to him!"- He thought while, barely, dodging Chimera's scratch.
Dabi tries to attack him with his fire but Chimera doesn't flinch. – "That won't hurt me anymore! My skin resists it!" – He said while punching Dabi and making him crash against a rock.
– "His skin is now capable of resisting my fire... I won't be able to do anything to him anymore..."- Just then an idea comes to Dabi's head. – "If I can't damage him from the outside... I will damage him from the inside!"-
With his last strength Dabi stands up and surrounds his right arm with fire. - "It's already burned... what difference does it make to put more fire on it!"- Dabi charges at Chimera and tries to attack him with a punch, but he catches his arm in his mouth, biting him.
- "Fool... now say goodbye to your arm!" – Chimera said.
- "I was hoping you would do that..."- Dabi said. – "Now don't open your mouth!"-
Suddenly Chimera feels his insides heat up, realizing what Dabi is about to do. – "You…"- Chimera tries to free Dabi's arm but he grabs it by the snout and forces it to stay closed.
- "I told you not to open your mouth!"- Dabi said and then released a large amount of fire from his arm, starting to burn Chimera from the inside. – "If I can't hurt you from the outside... I will from the inside!" –
Chimera feels how little by little his insides are burning, how its insides are charred. – "S-Stop!" – Chimera said.
- "Do me a favor and die once and for all!"- Dabi said releasing one last, gigantic, burst of fire inside Chimera. – "Prominence Burn!"
Due to the amount of fire inside Chimera, it begins to be expelled from all of its orifices, its eye sockets, its nostrils, even its skin is destroyed to let the fire from inside come out.
After a few seconds Dabi stops emitting fire and removes his hand arm from Chimera's mouth, Chimera's lifeless body falls to the ground.
Dabi breathes heavily and then falls back to the ground. – "Big bro Toya!"- Katsuma said approaching him. – "Big bro Toya! Don't die!"-
- "That's impossible now... my body can't take it anymore..."- Dabi said. – "At least you're safe..."- After these words Dabi closes his eyes, remaining unconscious, although he will soon succumb to his injuries.
- "No... I don't want him to die!"- Katsuma said and then looks at his hands. – "You saved me... I must do the same!"-
Katsuma begins to use his quirk to try to cure Dabi. – "No matter how tired I get doing this... I'm not going to let you die!"- He thought while trying to heal Dabi.

Yamikumo vs Nine.
An explosion occurs and Yamikumo comes out of it and lands on the ground, In front of him is Nine who walks out of the smoke of the explosion. – "It's useless... you'd better give up."- He said.
- "I'm sorry…"- Yamikumo said as he surrounds his fist with fire and smiles with determination. – "But the word giving up doesn't exist for me."-

So yeah. Here we are.
Another chapter finished and yeah.
Dabi emerges victorious from their fight, but he was badly injured... Will Katsuma manage to heal him or will he die from his injuries?
Well we will know that... not in the next chapter!
Well, the next chapter will be Twice's fight against Mummy.
I really liked this chapter, since we started with Dabi's path of "redemption", in quotes.
I say "redemption" because it will not be a redemption as such, he will only stop being so evil and will have a different path than his canon counterpart, he will not forgive his family but he will no longer be as crazy as the canonical Dabi.
Chimera has finally been defeated and in a way quite similar to the original, since if you remember in the movie Shoto ends up defeating him by freezing him from the inside, while here Dabi burned him from the inside.
Well, nothing, as I already said, the next chapter will be Twice against Mummy and then we will have Yamikumo against Nine (Fight which I will try to make it two chapters, but I don't promise anything since I don't want to fill the fights with filler and redundant scenes).

Q: BTW, I just realize that the female member of the Bronze Guard has appearance and quirk similar to Slice, are they related or is it a coincidence?
A: It's just a coincidence, the truth is I hadn't realized this until you mentioned it, it's a pretty big coincidence... but just a coincidence in the end.
