A/N: Now, in this chapter, this is where Tulip and Lake's relationship comes full circle.

Chapter 3: The Debutante Ball Car
It all started in the undersea car with a red door in view, only it wasn't underwater, but rather decorated with bubbles to give it an underwater-like atmosphere. Tulip walked up to one of the bubbles in the air and grinned.
"Huh. I don't know why I was so worried about my change. Now, I'm just hoping my left breast can get as big as my right one.", Tulip said.
Meanwhile, Atticus walked over toward one of the bubbles with a shell.
"Do be careful. Those shells can have quite a feisty...", Glad One began before the bubble popped with the shell ready to bite as it did so, but missed as Atticus yelped and pulled his paw back.
"Bite.", Glad One finished.
"Thanks for the warning.", Atticus said.
"You know, I'm kinda surprised that you're enjoying this.", Lake said.
"Hey, go chrome or go home, am I right?", Tulip asked before blushing in embarrassment as she thought to herself.
"Oh, gosh, that was so horrible...! Seriously, why did I say that?", Tulip thought.
Later, she and the others were walking out as Tulip blushed toward Lake. In response, Lake held Tulip's hand with a blush of her own, unaware that One-One and Atticus saw this.
"Oooh...", Glad One spoke as Atticus chuckled.
"What?", both Tulip and Lake said in unison.
"Oh, nothing.", Atticus fibbed.
When they went inside the next car, it looked like some sort of ball room with anthropomorphic, fancy sea creatures dancing with one another as far as the eye could see.
"What a lovely couple these two are.", one denizen said.
"Dear, I don't think they're exactly couple material.", another spoke as both Tulip and Lake became embarrassed.
"Oh! That must be the debutante car. It's quite fancy.", Glad One stated.
"How come?", Tulip asked before a voice suddenly rang out.
"Stop!", the voice spoke before the group looked up to notice a talking chandelier.
"Stop right there! What do you think you're doing?", the chandelier asked.
"Uh...", Tulip began in worry.
Before she could answer, the chandelier examined Tulip's clothes.
"You aren't even dressed. I can't present you in such a state. Where are your escorts?", the chandelier asked.
"Simple. You're looking right at 'em.", Lake spoke, gesturing to herself, Tulip, Atticus, and One-One.
"Nice to meet you, sir.", Atticus bowed.
"Charmed, I'm sure.", the chandelier responded.
"Yeah, sorry to cut our visit short, but do you know where the exit is?", Lake asked before the chandelier went up back to the ceiling.
"The exit makes itself known only to those who've entered society. You all must have a debut. Procedures must be followed. Oh, I'll take you to the cotillion room to learn the waltz.", the chandelier spoke before tossing one of his ornaments aside toward the ground before it landed, but it didn't shatter.
Instead, it lit up like a flame and transformed into a mini version of himself with arms and legs, not to mention a fancy suit.
"Follow me, if you will.", the chandelier spoke before he then turned around and walked up the stairs with Tulip, Lake, Atticus, and One-One.
"Oh, that's right, I forgot. The chandelier can be a sort of stickler when it comes to clothes at times.", Glad One spoke.
"And you didn't even think to tell us?", Tulip glared, raising her eyebrow in annoyance.
"Yeah. It just crossed my mind.", Sad One responded.
Later, the whole group walked, following the chandelier, who gestures to the paintings on the wall.
"Former debutantes. All paired off now.", the chandelier stated.
"Huh. Good for them.", Tulip spoke.
"Well, here we are.", the chandelier spoke.
"Huh. Nice cotillion.", Tulip grinned as the rest entered inside with Atticus being the last to enter.
"I'll be back to collect you all later, so follow the feet, learn the steps, no mistakes, or you'll be trapped here until the next time. Then, the next time, and the next. Okay, cheerio.", the chandelier warned before closing the doors behind them.
"Wait, did he just say 'trapped'?!", Tulip exclaimed.
Panicked, Tulip quickly went to the door and tried to open it.
"Hey! You can't leave us in here!", Tulip shouted.
"Whoa! Easy, Tulip! Calm down!", Lake urged.
"Give me one good reason why I should!", Tulip snapped.
"Because all we need to do is follow the feet and learn the steps. Like... learning the dance.", Lake said, earning Tulip's blush, baffling her enough to calm down, at least.
"Uh... do we have to?", Tulip asked.
"It is smart to try what we know can work.", Atticus spoke.
Tulip groaned for a bit in embarrassment before seeing Lake's worried look. After a moment, Tulip sighed.
"Okay. What do we do?", Tulip asked.
"We just have to follow the feet. This is a ballroom dance. Some of the steps are backwards. And I was thinking that... maybe we could be partners?", Lake asked.
Tulip blushed even harder as she looked down to notice her feet on the prints.
"Huh. Well..., okay.", Tulip agreed.
Later, Tulip and Lake started dancing with even One-One and Atticus dancing along.
"You know, when you said that we should be partners, I was surprised.", Tulip said.
"You were?", Lake asked.
"Yeah. And here, I thought you were too cool for this.", Tulip replied, earning Lake's blush.
"Well, given that I used to be your reflection, I'm not as cool as you think."
"Okay. A lot is going on in the train right now and we don't know what could happen, but... I'd love it very much if you were there with me. So...", Tulip began before taking a deep breath.
"DO YOU WANNA BE MY GIRLFRIEND?!", Tulip blurted out.
Lake was surprised to hear that, blushing herself.
"Are you kidding?! YES!", Lake replied.
Tulip began to laugh excitedly as did Lake, neither one yet knowing that the chrome finally began to spread all over her entire upper body with Tulip's left breast not only getting as big as her right, but also causing the middle of both her shirt and her jacket to split apart, revealing a valley of cleavage underneath just as Lake's own left breast was growing and expanding to the same size as her right one, causing her own jacket and shirt to split apart in the middle as well when the dance was complete at the same time, the blue arrow suddenly emitted a small, golden flame all around, signifying the dance's completion.
"It's quite beautiful, isn't it?", Glad One asked wistfully.
"Just be careful where you step, though. Just in case.", Sad One added before the flames went out.
"Whoa... Tulip, look at us...!", Lake gasped in awe.
Tulip looked and saw not only how much more chrome-like she is, but also how big her breasts are.
"Wow... They're so big...! I wonder how they'd look even bigger...", Tulip said.
Suddenly, they began to grow bigger, earning Tulip's loud moan of pleasure as they grew and swelled even larger until the middle of both her shirt and jacket ripped off completely down the middle with Lake also going through the same thing, also moaning in pleasure until the growth stopped, earning their sighs of bliss.
"Whoa...! Incredible! I can make my boobs even bigger?!", Tulip asked in surprise.
"And mine, too, by the looks of it.", Lake replied.
"Huh. Neat."
Just then, the chandelier opened the doors.
"It's time, my lovelies.", the chandelier announced.
"So, where're our dresses?", Tulip asked.
Later, Tulip was now in a green, frilly dress with Lake in a similar dress, but with hers being short and black with Atticus wearing a bow tie and Glad One wearing a top hat and Sad One wearing a small, white dress with a tiara.
"I present to you as their entrée into society, Atticus, King and Uniter of the Cardigans and the Pembrookes, One-One, Tulip Olsen, and Lake last name unknown.", the chandelier announced before the group then stepped down the stairs and found themselves underneath the spotlights and curtseyed.
"And now, the couples will take their first dance together.", the chandelier spoke before the music started playing as the dance began.
When it did, all partners danced together in tune with the music, dazzling the crowd as Lake pushed Tulip back gently and pulled her back in with Tulip giving a grin, astonishing the crowd.
"What a beautiful, young lady.", the crowd member spoke.
"And that metallic girl is looking quite radiant, too."
"I must introduce my nephew to her.", another spoke up.
Meanwhile, Atticus and One-One danced along the steps with the latter rolling around in a circle.
"Is that a corgi?", the crowd member spoke.
"I don't know, but he's stunning.", another interjected.
"I think that one's a little round.", another added.
"Shh, please!", another responded.
Then, once the dance was over, the group found themselves with each other before the crowd applauded and moved away from where the spotlight was shining, revealing an exit door.
"Finally.", Tulip grinned excitedly before she and the others took off their fancy attire.
"Whoo-hoo! We did it!", Glad One cheered.
"Okay. Let's get outta here.", Lake grinned.
Outside the car, the door opened with Tulip and Lake heading out first.
"I always thought you'd go great together the moment I saw you two holding hands before entering this car.", Glad One said.
"What? Since when?", Lake asked, jokingly.
"You two do seem to have something special together. And I'm not talking about the staggering chrome similarity.", Atticus said.
"Well, it's no use trying to fool you two, is it?", Tulip asked.
Then, she opened the door with all four entering the car, which is revealed to be a forest of trees.
"Huh. This looks like... some kind of forest.", Tulip said before gasping and getting a rather naughty idea with a chuckle.
"I wonder if there's a lake somewhere..."
Very quickly, Tulip eagerly ran off, catching Lake, Atticus, and One-One by surprise.
"Tulip!", Atticus shouted.
"Where are you going?!", Glad One added.
"You two look for the exit. I'll go after her.", Lake said before heading off after her.
However, Tulip went faster than Lake would ever expect, mainly because Tulip was excited.
"Wait...! Slow down...!", Lake panted.
As she followed as best she could, she passed by an anthropomorphic lantern holding a cup of hot cocoa.
"Bright out tonight, huh? Or is it just me? Get crazy.", the lantern spoke with a chuckle, puzzling her before she looked down to notice the two rocks below her.
"Well, if you didn't want to come here, you should've said so.", the female rock spoke.
"Oh, and I'm sure you wouldn't have complained about whatever choice I made.", the male rock responded sarcastically.
"Where would you have picked, then?", the female rock asked.
"The lake.", the male rock responded.
"Oh, we're rocks, Martin! We can't swim.", the female rock complained once response.
"I love it when you get angry.", the male rock grinned before he and his girlfriend gave hugs to each other and kissed.
"Lake...?", Lake puzzled before gasping as she realized something. "That's it!"
As she ran, she topped for a moment and noticed a small campfire with a pinecone scoutmaster telling a scary story to the troops.
"And then, the squirrel scratched again. 'Where are my little seeds?' Then, louder, 'Where are my little seeds?!' Boo!", the scoutmaster spoke before the troops screamed.
Paying no mind to the story, she just left. Then, Lake then spotted Tulip at the shore of the lake, having taken off her upper clothes, especially her bra, and admiring her new chrome upper half.
"Hey, you okay? You went off in such a hurry after we got here." Lake asked in slight concern.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm good; great, actually. I just wanted to see the new me." Tulip said not even looking back and continuing to admire herself as each of her hands were pressed against the front ends of each breast.
"Yeah. You do look beautiful." Lake going up to her girlfriend and hugging her.
Tulip then lifted her pants leg and looked at her human skin.
"Just half of me left and I won't be Tulip Olsen anymore." Tulip said.
"Oh, yeah. If you're thinking of a name change, you better run it by me first.", Lake said.
The two girls started sharing a laugh before Tulip sighed.
"I'm just a little embarrassed I'm not wearing anything for the top of my body right now...", Tulip blushed.
Suddenly, Tulip's bare upper body became covered with her new in-grown clothes, much to her surprise.
"Huh. That works.", Tulip grinned, lowering her hands.
Lake then grabbed her girlfriend's hand.
"What, where are you taking me.", Tulip asked chuckling.
"Oh, you'll see.", Lake said leading her to some other place.
Later on, the two climbed a tree to see the enormous car world and its spectacular view.
"It's beautiful.", Tulip said in awe.
"Yes, you are." Lake said not even looking at the view causing Tulip to laugh and turn to her girlfriend.
"Hey...!", Tulip giggled.
"Tulip..., I thought you and I would never get along.", Lake said taking her girlfriend's hands into her own.
"Yet here we are, now. Girlfriends going on an adventure to get us both off this train.", Lake continuing as they both blushed.
"Wow, this is so hard. What I'm trying to say is…"
Lake was cut off by Tulip leaning in close to Lake. And then they kissed passionately as the sun rose and they pulled back.
"I love you too, Lake.", Tulip said with a smile.
A/N: And it looks like Tulip's chrome condition has already covered half of her body. Who knows what that could mean if she goes full chrome?
