Naruto's POV:

Naruto woke up with a small yawn.

"wow, I slept for 10 hours" he exclaimed to himself

"well it's my Birthday today!" he shouted to himself

Naruto ran out through his window to go to his private training ground to meet Sasuke

after 30 minutes Naruto reached the training ground.

"hello!" he shouted

"hi" Sasuke replied

"Happy birthday, I have a water jutsu which I asked from Shisui and a Earth style and wind jutsu I got from the Uchiha's library as a present to you, be grateful since it was a hustle and a half because I had to sneak in to the shinobi only section" Sasuke said

"WHAAAAT! Thank you soo much Sasuke!" Naruto shouted

"be quite Naruto, the anbu might take the noise as enemy shinobi infiltrating the village" Sasuke shushed to Naruto

"alright!" Naruto whispered

"well, what do you think your parents will gift you for your birthday?" asked Sasuke

"I dont know, most likely they would inform that I would be the heir of the Namikaze Uzumaki clan since I am the first born" replied Naruto

"well, they better since it's your birth right" said Sasuke.

"yes, well lets start with the training! I say we do chakra control today, the jutsus we were training with yesterday will require more control, this will cut our training time for other jutsus too." Naruto said.

"well, what is the next chakra control?" Sasuke asked

"well, this time around we will be training with our chakra affinities. I have copied down all about the chakra exercises for all the 5 chakra affinities and I packed it up and brought it here." Naruto said

"How would we know what is our chakra affinity?" Sasuke asked.

"well, we would use this paper, it's called chakra paper, if we had known about this, we would have mastered jutsus much faster." answered Naruto

"I brought 4 chakra papers just in case that one might be faulty, but from what I heard it was never wrong." continued Naruto

Sasuke grabbed the paper and channelled his chakra into it. The paper crinkled, burst out inflames and suddenly turned into dust. He did it again with receiving the same result he did previously.

Naruto tried his out with the paper turning very wet, muddy and then it split very harshly. Naruto tried it out again with getting the same result.

They both were shocked by their result. They received 3 equally strong affinities which complimented both of them.

"wow, only the Hiruzen Sarutobi, the third Hokage ever had 3 affinities of the same strength in this village!" said Naruto with a surprised face.

"yes, that's quite the shock, I can't wait to master my elements!" shouted Sasuke which was a surprising tone from the subdued Uchiha.

"well, this just means we have more to train for, Mito has water and Menma has wind as their affinities, atleast we surpassed our siblings at this!" exclaimed Naruto

"You are correct, with me having 2 offensive natures, the Earth affinity as a defensive element can help me out a lot." replied Sasuke

"well, since we share Earth style element, we will start of with its training. All we need to do is turn an ordinary leaf into dust through the use of earth chakra." said Naruto

"How do we do that?" replied Sasuke

"well, I found that we should try calming our nerves down and have a very stiff chakra circulation while doing it. It might take sometime, but I believe we can do it within a few days with shadow clones. But from what I heard, chunins take a few years to do this task so we should be patient." answered Naruto.

"alright, lets start!" replied Sasuke.

After a few hours of doing this, both Naruto and Sasuke have achieved the same amount of progress which was a small spec of dust at the place where they were channelling chakra at.

huff, huff, both panted

"We have to go soon, I have to get ready for the party" Said Naruto breaking the silence in the clearing

"I will be leaving here as well, I have to get ready for it too" replied Sasuke

Naruto quickly ran towards his home, jumping through the rooftops when he reached the main part of the village.

He quickly reached his home within 20 minutes.

"Hello mom, I am back!" exclaimed Naruto

"Hi son, happy birthday! where were you this morning?" asked Kushina

"Well, I was just hanging out with Sasuke" he replied

"Alright, get ready soon, the party will start soon" she told him

"alright mom!" he said and ran quickly to his room to get a bath and change is clothes to new ones he got for his birthday

At 4PM, the party started,

"Yo Sasuke!" Naruto said heading towards the Uchiha.

"hello Naruto, happy birthday." Sasuke said handing him a box which was filled with kunai.

"Thanks man!" exclaimed and enthusiastic Naruto who wasn't expecting another gift from Sasuke.

"It's fine, this is the official gift from my clan to you Naruto." Replied Sasuke

Naruto just smiled.

Namikaze-Uzumaki Compound, 6PM,

"My dad is about to announce something important," Naruto whispered

"well everyone, thank you for joining us in this momentous occasion, as you all know that Mito and Menma hold the Nine tails' power within them, I bestow Mito as the head of the Uzumaki clan heir and Menma as the Namikaze clan heir," shouted the enthusiastic fourth hokage, Minato Namikaze.

"Both of them are quite the prodigies, much stronger than I or Kushina when we were their age. And they are able to control the nine tails chakra from the age of six! They are very resilient and thats why I name them as both mine and Kushina' s successor, Naruto will be helping them both in their hard struggle when they face the darkness which will try to plunge our shinobi world into chaos!" continues Minato not seeing that his 1st born was breaking from the inside

Everyone applauded except Sasuke and Naruto. They both were shocked at the news Naruto's father just announced, a few of the clan heads did give Naruto a worried glance but didn't care much since his siblings, who were jinchurikis are highly likely to be the children of destiny the great elder toad prophesised about. Naruto felt very betrayed since that was the only thing which he thought he would get something truly value of from his parents. All of his hopes of getting recognition of his strength from his parents just vanished, so he just silently left without much noise. Sasuke followed him silently as well. They both reached the clearing they trained at.

Sasuke broke the silence by shouting "How could they!"

"How could they take your birth right from you!" continued Sasuke who was seething with rage

Naruto also raged quietly, and began to tear up.

"How could they! They never gave me a chance, and now they are taking what is rightfully mine!" Naruto said with sadness and rage mixed in.

The surroundings became a bit lifeless, but none of them realised it. Sasuke's eyes just turned red with fury due to the injustice his friend faced.

Suddenly, their surroundings changes into a dark place with a bit of yellow light coming out of the water they are standing at. Both of them are confused but are ready for any attack. But after trying to dispel what they thought was a genjutsu, someone who has a wise tone spoke up.
