Be Advised: I know this particular mission should not be here, but the original in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) just does not make sense in terms of objectives and contrived circumstances. So why not fix it into an informative cutscene mission instead of a nonsensical one.
November 4th, 2022 - 02:41:20, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States of America, Rogue Team is being taken to a contemporary mansion sitting in a spot on the mountains not too far from the city. After landing on its helipad, Oxide explains what the place is.
Ramirez: Nice place. Where are we?
Oxide: General Shepherd's personal safe house. Gave me the location before he and Overlord were ordered by the State Department to report to The Pentagon.
Bishop: Off the grid, but not too far from help. Smart.
Chemo: Think the State Department's gonna hold onto the Generals for long?
Oxide: They doubt it. The government's got their ways of getting what they want immediately. So does the U.S. Military. With a wait ahead of us, you peeps rest up. Ramirez, there's an underground shooting range down those stairs. It's filled with a lot of weapons and ammo. Mourn in any way you wish.
Helen: If you need anything, I'll stay on comms.
Ramirez: Thanks, Oxide, Helen.
Oxide: We gotcha. Give me your bags of intel. Your Wireless Earpiece too, Staff Sergeant. I'll work my analysis magic on them.

An hour and a half later, Shepherd and Overlord arrive to debrief Ramirez, Graves, Chemo, Bishop, Perry, Helen and Major Longstride just as the gathered pieces of intel have been unlocked and analyzed.

Overlord: At ease, people.
Ramirez: General Shepherd, sir, we thank you for uh—
Shepherd: Don't mention it. With our situation with the C.I.A., it's a good thing I had this place built.
Oxide: Just in time. I finished compiling all this intel.
Graves: What do we got, brother?
Oxide: The kind of treasure trove the C.I.A. wants to hide in the middle of buttfuck nowhere like the Old Prison. Looks like Grace Cameron stumbled upon Special Agent Kate Laswell's dirty laundry. Remember the time when Al-Qaeda was suspected of having Russian Sarin Gas three years ago?
Ramirez: Yeah, I had Marine Raider friends who died in that scavenger hunt.
Oxide: It turns out when the Marine Raiders' Hitman Team 7 tried to confiscate it from Mother Russia back at her camp in Iran, she let Hadir Karim himself know about it so that he can steal it for the Afghan Military.
Graves: Jesus. What was Laswell's endgame in that?
Oxide: She wanted Kilo 2 to gas every single U.S. Military installation in the Middle East so that America and Russia can go to war there. But when Hadir got emotional and greedy with it, she scrapped the plan and sent him to the Ultranationalists to straighten him up. Oh, and the whole "Georgia Gas Lab Conspiracy" is actually real. Marine Raiders from Hitman Team 6 actually died there thanks to Afghan Army Marshal Farah Karim and C.I.A. deserter Alex Keller.
Helen: Those fucking snakes sitting in their faux moral high towers.
Oxide: For something more up-to-date, it turns Task Force Los Vaqueros and the Los Zetas cartel have been in cahoots since the latter's rebirth, which was funded by Laswell from offshore accounts. With Colonel Alejandro Vargas's STILL active second-in-command, Lieutenant Colonel Valeria Garza, being the "bad guy" in their profitable, forged war on drugs.
Chemo: You were right, Ramirez. A war on drugs really is no threat to a cartel.
Oxide: Also, she recommended Los Zetas to rig that ICBM on that mountain in Mexico. And she ordered Halsey-Brixton to level the compound you found Kilo 2 in, knowing that *looks closely* Staff Sergeant Leonard 'Rook' Hansen and Sergeant Desmond 'Knight' Jacobs were still in there.
Chemo: That FUCKING BITCH!
Bishop: I'm gonna rip that cunt four new arseholes!
Perry: She'll get hers soon enough.
Oxide: Add Colonel Vargas and Major Rodolfo Parra to that list. According to the Old Prison's main building's security cams, they were the rapists who gave Grace Cameron AIDS.
Ramirez: DICKHEAD MEX MOTHERFUCKERS! Oh, I am SO paying them a visit once this already shattered tour is over!
Oxide: Graves, remember that system hack bullshit Halsey-Brixton and her team encountered back in Operation Dark Water? That was Laswell's doing. But that's not even the worst part. You and Halsey-Brixton can bypass the hack easily. She just didn't want to because Laswell told her to let her Topol-M hit Washington on a closed channel.
Graves: I knew there was something wrong with that incident.
Oxide: And you wanna know why Joint Task Force 141/Los Vaqueros betrayed us? Here's the truth Laswell gave them, and here is the truth behind Laswell's truth.

This mission, in reality, went on according to plan.
Halsey-Brixton: (flashback) I know we worked very hard for these missiles. But I can assure you all that the payment Laswell sent for these is quite hefty. There'll be bonuses for all of us. I promise. So let's not fuck this up and give our friends in Afghanistan the weaponry they need. Hear?
Crown Team: (flashback) Hear, hear.
[Halsey-Brixton and Crown Team fist-bump]
Halsey-Brixton: (flashback) Crown 1 to Watcher.
Laswell: Send traffic, Crown 1.
Halsey-Brixton: Three Crown victors exiting Highway 7-Zulu. No issues. Copy that, over?

Claire Halsey-Brixton was there herself driving the lead truck carrying one of the RT-2PM2 Topol-M mobile ICBMs. As she wanted to see this arms deal through personally and find out why Watcher was feeling generous to Afghanistan that day.
What she did not expect to see when she and Crown Team arrived in Kabul was the Russian-Afghan international fugitive himself, Junior Lieutenant Hadir Karim. Who was reconnecting with Farah, Alex and his home as a whole.
Farah: (flashback) (Dari) Hell of a way to come back home, Hadir.
Hadir: (flashback) (Dari) Yes, well, one of us had to do what needed to be done. I missed you, Farah.
Farah: (flashback) (Dari) I missed you too, brother.
[Farah and Hadir shed tears and hug]
Hadir: (flashback) Alex. Come on in. You are family as well.
Alex: (flashback) Oh, thank you, Hadir. *hugs Farah and Hadir*
Farah: (flashback) (Dari) Will you fight for all of us this time?
Hadir: (flashback) (Dari) Yes, sister. Our family already had its revenge. Now, it is time for Afghanistan to have hers.

While her teammates got their bonuses into their bank accounts upon mission success, Crown 1 got a cumshaw of her own inside Hadir's personal Mi-24 SuperHind Mk.IV.
Oxide: (narration) Laswell, Afghanistan, the Ultranationalist Party, and Mexico didn't just want Russia to destroy the West. They wanted us to destroy each other. The theft of those missiles, their repainting, their movements, The Western Hemisphere Standoff, all connected and wound up by Deep State lies and deceit. The first ICBM found in Syria was supposed to hit New York City. The second one back in that mountain, the White House. The third, The Pentagon. The fourth? Well, the Mexican Army, Los Zetas and Task Force Los Vaqueros had been burying barrels filled with PETN (pentaerythritoltetranitrate) along the Mexico-United States Border Wall in the past three months. They then got afraid of the possibility of Grace Cameron and Fox News noticing and exposing Laswell's master plan the moment they showed up for their special coverage.
Shepherd: (narration) So that's why Laswell didn't want us to destroy them in the first place.
Oxide: (narration) With the secretive nature of these activities, you can bet that they're all unsanctioned. And the entire Central Intelligence Agency is her guardian devil. But on the more pressing issue, even though we've found three of the Brits' missiles, Hadir still has one left. And one intercontinental ballistic missile is all it takes to light that underground fuse and leave us completely vulnerable to a violent invasion of illegal aliens and old and new enemies turned aggressors in the next 72 hours.
Ramirez: (narration) Then we need to get on the horn and find Kilo 2 and that Topol-M fast.
Rogue Team, Gold Eagle, General Greenland and Major Longstride proceed to flood the media with Ramirez's Wireless Earpiece w/ Camera Attachment's recordings and Special Agent Kate Laswell's Dirty Laundry, both of which quickly become the trending story of the West. Immediately, they move on with a plan to find Kilo 2 and the last Aegis Defence Services RT-2PM2 Topol-M.
Chemo: That should be everything we have. And it's trending.
Ramirez: The calm has ended. They are beginning to return.
Perry: You think this'll stop Laswell and the C.I.A.?
Ramirez: Doubt it. The Deep State has a special way of bullshiting to keep justice from kicking their doors down. But our intel leak should keep them from directing all their resources on hunting us.
Bishop: Maybe, but it might not last long. We probably won't have enough time to make everything right. We'll need something bigger.
Ramirez: I think I got an idea with the last mobile ICBM, but we need to find it first.
Graves: Then it's time to pay Valeria another visit and have a real conversation with her. But how do we get into M.O.B. Wild West?
Shepherd: I have an idea. Since I got a bone to pick with Laswell and her British and Mexican dogs, I can lure half or even most of them back to Nuevo Laredo. Now, I don't expect to kill a lot of them or any of the major players. But if the window of opportunity I'll be giving will be enough, then I'm ready.
Overlord: Are you sure about that, Herschel?
Shepherd: Hooah.
Overlord: I'll have ISR over all of us on both AOs.
Graves: I'll have a full Shadow Company strike force go with you, sir. We got a score to settle with them, too. They can help maximize the body count.
Helen: Perry and I volunteer to keep you covered until it's time.
Perry: Agreed. We'll protect you till the end, Gold Eagle.
Shepherd: Alright. Rogue Team, let me know when you've got what we need from Lieutenant Colonel Garza. At that point, I'll order my surviving Shadows to RTB and have a face-to-face with the supposed best of the best. It has been an honor to serve the United States of America and the West with all of you. *salutes*
