Kuvira hadn't woken from the blast, her feet touching the ground a few seconds later but Korra dashed forwards and caught her before she crumpled to the flowered meadow. Hesitantly, she ran her fingers over to her neck, searching for a pulse of life she hoped was still there but… It was gone. No pulse.
