Sally Along with Larry, Erma, and Emily made it over to Sally's apartment, They saw that it was a huge mess with Fiona being tied up to a chair while Hershey was cleaning up.
Sally: Hershey! What happened!?
Hershey: Well, apparently Foxy here was having a little meltdown, so I tied her up!
Larry: The Old Cops and Robbers Maneuver, good idea, but how did it happen?
Fiona: She tried to take the controller away!
Hershey: She was playing on the console for too long, and I thought she needed a break! Suddenly she got out of control!
Larry: That would explain why the screen is on-Hey is that Whisky the Fox? I haven't played this since I was a kid!
Fiona: Now this guy has taste!
Sally: Can we all just focus here?
Larry: You're right! *Larry turns off the console and the tv screen*
Sally: Fiona you really need to shape up, your 3 month program starts tomorrow at the rehab center in town.
Fiona: Yeah...I'm not going!
Sally: Excuse me
Fiona: You heard me! I'm not going!
Larry: Why?
Fiona: Look I'm just gonna be frank, I don't think it's for me!
Erma: You can't be serious! We went through all the trouble to sign you up!
Fiona: Look Weasel! I don't need it, okay!
Emily: You can't talk to my Aunty like that! She's an Ermine not a weasel!
Erma: Stay back, Emily! You don't know what She's capable of!
Emily: I'm sorry, I just don't like it when people insult you.
Erma: It's fine, dear! But I can handle it!
Fiona: Yeah, that's all fine and dandy, let a bunch of freaks take over and tell me how to live my life!
Sally: Fiona, you've been given a great opportunity here, now how can you stand by and let that slip away?
Fiona: Simple, It's an easy way to enjoy my freedom!
Larry: And what makes you think one of us won't call up King Elias and tell him about this? He did threaten you with exile to a deserted island!
Fiona: Well, It's surely a lot better then being stuck in a cell for a long time waiting for someone like Sonic to rescue you but sadly that wasn't the case!
Sally: You know very well that was an accident!
Fiona: He wanted me to rot...he wanted me to Suffer!
Sally: Oh you're just so unbearable, can't you see these people want to help you?!
Fiona: That's a funny way of putting it, because no one has ever helped me at all! I always get burned in the end, and you know what it's not fun!
Erma: *Whispers to Larry* With an attitude like that, she's lucky she's not burnt to a crisp.
Larry: *Whispers to Erma* You're telling me.
Fiona: Face it! No one has ever helped me!
Sally: Oh! And I suppose rescuing you from drowning doesn't mean anything!
Fiona: *Tears Forming* Well-I-I don't need this! I don't need you to control my life! You've always been so controlling!
Sally: What you call controlling, I call trying to protect my friends and family. Things you clearly know nothing about...
Fiona: My friends and family abandoned me a long time ago...And I bet you guys will do the same!
Larry: Okay, you don't know the first thing about me! If I wanted to betray you, I would've done it a long time ago!
Fiona: You don't know what it's like! You never had to run around all scared and alone!
Emily: *Starts crying* I never want to abandon anyone...
Erma: *Hugs Emily in comfort* It's going to be okay, sweetheart! It's clearly obvious that this Pain and anger has clouded her mind!
Sally: That's another thing, you use your past as an excuse for your actions instead of taking responsibility! By doing that you turned your back on us, you joined forces with Scourge to cause all sorts of trouble and worst of all, You hurt Tails!
Fiona: Really...Out of all the things I've done, that's the one thing you're most upset about?
Sally: Yes...he was my nephew!
Fiona: What! You two aren't even related!
Sally: We don't have to be related to have a special bond like that, I've been taken care of him for a long time! He was kind to you and you turned your back on him! He was in tears that day!
Fiona: Well it served him right!
just then Hershey grabbed the remote and pressed the button shocking Fiona!
Fiona: OOOOWWW! THAT WAS UNCALLED FOR!
Hershey: What was uncalled for? It was uncalled for you to insult Tails like that!
Larry: I see Clyde gave you the remote!
Hershey: Actually, He gave it to Sally. she just left it here for me to use in case Fiona got out of hand!
Fiona: You better cut that out or-*Hershey presses the button again* STOP IT!
Hershey: Or what? *Hershey makes an attempt to push the button on the remote again*
Fiona: *Panicked* No! No! Please don't do it again! I beg you!
Hershey: Well it seems that I was right! You are a frightened child!
Sally: Okay, Hershey...I know you're trying to help but this isn't getting us anywhere. *Sally takes the remote from Hershey and put on top of the tv however she unintentionally presses the button giving Fiona a shock*
Fiona: *Screams* I told you to stop, but you did it anyway!
Sally: That time, it was an accident!
Fiona: See!? This is what I'm talking about *Tears forming* People never listen to me! You think I wanted to take this path!? Huh!? It just happened! I had no choice!
Sally: Oh! You think it just happened that you decided to Join Scourge and hurt us in the process!? You had plenty of choices to make, but you chose to turn on us! You chose to hurt the people who cared about you!
Fiona: You don't know what I was going through at the time, I have been having doubts especially when I have my past come back and haunt me.
Sally: I think I know what the problem is...You're too wrapped up in the past that you fail to see the bigger picture. You allow your emotions to cloud your judgement. You push away the people who want to help you.
Fiona: What are you getting at, Acorn!?
Sally: What I'm saying is, You're a coward who needs to team up with destructive thugs to prove some idiotic point. Not everyone is out to get you, and when things get tough you just run away instead of facing it head on! In fact if I didn't know any better, you're the biggest coward I've ever met in my entire life!
Fiona: How...dare...you...*Screams in Anger*
At that moment Fiona charged towards Sally, who managed to pull a quick punch, knocking them both on the ground. They began to throw punches. Erma Attempted to reach for the remote but Hershey stopped her.
Hershey: Wait! If you use that remote, it could Shock Sally as well!
Larry: We gotta think of something!
At the moment the two girls rolled out of the apartment while fighting, causing them to fall down the stairs, and through the exit.
Larry: You better stay here, Emily! I don't want you getting hurt!
As Larry left the Room Emily took out her phone!
Emily: I'll call for help!
Meanwhile outside, Fiona and Sally continued their brawl when Larry, Erma and Hershey caught up with them. They managed to break the two up with Erma and Larry Holding Fiona, while Hershey grabbed Sally.
Sally: *Tears forming* You just don't understand! We just want to help yu, but you're just so stubborn!
Fiona: You're the one who doesn't understand!
Sally: You're just a stubborn little WITCH!
Fiona: Witch!? Come here and say that!
Sally: That can be arranged!
Hershey: *restrains Sally* Sally, No! You're better than this!
Sally: *Tears streaming* I'm Sorry
Hershey: It's going to be okay! *Hugs Sally*
Fiona: Come on! Get off me you stupid rodent!
At that moment, Erma jumped on top of Fiona's back causing her to fall to the ground!
Erma: DON'T YOU EVER DISRESPECT ME OR SALLY LIKE THAT AGAIN!
Larry: Nice Maneuver! I'll have to remember that one!
Just then a cop car pulled over and parked near the apartment parking lot. Clyde emerged from the car and rushed over to the Apartment entrance to see what was going.
Clyde: Hey! Did someone call the police? Because it looks like you got things under control!
Emily: I did, Sir! That Fiona Lady was attacking Miss Acorn, so I was calling for help! I'm sorry!
Clyde: No need to apologize, little lady, You did the right thing. Now then what's going on?
Fiona: She started it! She wants to control me like the control freak she is!
Sally: You're the one who threw the first punch!
Clyde: OKAY OKAY! Now let's take a ride down to the station so we can settle this! No one's getting arrested or detained, we're just going to sort things out.
Fiona: Fine...
Larry: We'll tag along so we can keep Sally and Fiona from fighting again.
Erma: Emily, you better hurry home. I don't want your mother to worry.
Emily: Okay...I hope you're going to be okay, Miss Acorn!
Sally: Everything will be fine.
And so Emily started heading back to her home Hershey got in the front seat with Clyde. Sally got in the back seat first, then Erma Sat next to her, then Larry got in next to Erma, then Larry pulled Fiona in the car. The car took off, and As Larry and Erma tried to make sure that Sally and Fiona doesn't fight again, Fiona tried to sweet talk Larry.
Fiona: Listen! Larry, Right? You seem like a reasonable guy, get me out of here, and I can see if I can get you a spot on the Destructix! I can even make it worth your while! Come on a reptile with your skills will be a perfect asset to the team!
Larry: Yeah, nice try! I don't go for those type of shenanigans! Sure I'm flattered...but the Answer is no!
Erma just snickered at the failed attempt much to Fiona's dismay!
Larry: It's not the first time someone tried to pull that stunt with me!
A few minutes later the car pulled up at the police station, with everyone getting out with Larry and Erma carrying Fiona to ensure she doesn't try to run away. when they got inside, they headed to the back room with Chief Kowalski waiting for them, after Clyde explained what happened, Chief Kowalski had Sally and Fiona sit at the table.
Chief Kowalski: Okay, now, what were you two thinking!? You could've caused some serious harm. Luckily nothing was damaged.
Fiona: It's all her fault, Officer! She tried to control me!
Sally: That's not True! She's been causing trouble, just like she always has!
Chief Kowalski: ENOUGH! Am I going to have to put you two in a cell!?
Sally and Fiona: No Officer...
Chief Kowalski: Good! Now, Fiona! You should be thankful that we got you into that rehab program, and that's not something to be taken lightly. It should be cherished.
Fiona: Whatever...
Chief Kowalski: And, Sally! You should know better than to let your anger get the best of you, I don't want that kind of behavior rubbing off on the students that you teach.
Sally: Of course not, I'm sorry...
Chief Kowalski: Alright then! The both of you should be very lucky that the Mayor didn't catch wind of your little fist fight! He would've recommended a very serious punishment.
Fiona: Oh What could be worse than being banished to a deserted island? *Takes a look at Sally* Oh...being stranded with you...
Sally glared at Fiona for that Comment!
Hershey: She does have a point! King Elias did threaten to exile her from New Mobotropolis.
Larry: True, but our mayor can be very persuasive, he has a bit of a Silver tongue if you will. But you're right! Fiona does raise a fair point, I can't think of anything worse than being exiled, unless...oh no...you don't mean!?
Chief Kowalski: I'm afraid so!
Hershey: What is it?
Chief Kowalski: The mayor would've recommended...Vilethorn!
Larry: That's what I was afraid of!
Sally: What's Vilethorn?
Larry: It's the toughest maximum security prison in Mobius, with emphasis on Maximum! It has a reputation of Extreme proportions.
Clyde: It's true, in fact banishment is practically paradise in comparison to that place!
Larry: It's actually refurbished from one of Robotnik's old prison facilities that was relocated just south from here.
Fiona: Oh Come on! How bad can this Vilethorn prison be?
Chief Kowalski: Oh it just so happens that I have a few videos that answers that question little Missy! But a word of caution, it may contain some sensitive material, so I hope you know what you're in for.
Fiona: Just try me!
Clyde: Okay, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Clyde sets up the tv screen while the chief puts on a video that shows the Vilethorn prison. Sally, Fiona, Hershey, Erma, and Larry began to watch. As the video goes on, Fiona's skepticism turns into total shock as everyone else feels just as shocked, however Larry remained calm.
Sally: This is horrible...
Larry: I know, despite being an updated version of Robotnik's prison, the place isn't really up to sanitation standards, you see bugs and other parasites crawling around. They don't give prisoners much to eat.
Erma: My goodness!
Larry: Yeah and the people there get their butts kicked on a regular basis by all the other delinquents. The guards don't even do squat, in fact most of them even join in. and Perhaps the most sad part is, not many people survive.
Hershey: No...
Larry: It's true...Once someone goes there, they are never seen or heard from again.
Sally: How can the Mayor support a place that's just plain...Vile!?
Larry: Apparently he has special connections...He's never specific about it but he doesn't like it when people ask him about it. This is why we created the rehab center, to keep anyone from going to that awful prison.
Chief Kowalski: That's right! Now then, are you two going to behave?
Fiona still looking shocked just slowly nodded
Sally: Yes, Chief! And rest assured this won't happen again!
Chief Kowalski: Good! You're free to go, have a nice weekend.
And So everyone got back into the Cop car so Clyde can take the group back to the apartment. Sally, and Erma got our first, while Larry was struggling to help Fiona out. Hershey came out from the front to help Larry, and when they got Fiona out, Clyde left while everyone was still letting everything about Vilethorn sink in.
Sally: Boy...I never thought there would be a prison that would be that cruel!
Larry: Yeah, a lot of us here have been trying to get it taken down for a while now, but we haven't had much success with that.
Hershey: Well this is just wrong! We need to do something!
Erma: Yeah!
Sally: I'm sure if we pull our heads together, we can come up with a plan!
Hershey: Right!
Sally walked up to Fiona who was still in a state of shock
Sally: Fiona, how are you feeling?
Sally was waving her hand in front of Fiona, but she didn't seem to notice.
Erma: It appears that she's in some sort of shock.
Sally: I know! Maybe a nice walk can help. Some fresh air can help clear the-
Fiona: Don't...
Larry: Okay, you don't have to take a walk, we can just go back and put on a movie or something to help you relax-
Fiona: Let them...
Hershey: Umm...please make some sense...
Fiona: Take me...
Hershey: Take you where? You're under town arrest so you can't leave
Larry: I think she's starting to snap out of if it!
Fiona: PLEASE DON'T LET THEM TAKE ME TO THAT AWFUL PLACE *Hugs Larry really tight while crying*
Larry: Too...Tight...A little help!
Erma came over and help pull Fiona away from Larry!
Erma: You okay?
Larry: I'm fine, thank you!
Fiona: *Sobs* THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING TO ME...I DON'T WANT TO GO THERE!
Erma: She's really shaken up about this!
Hershey: Yeah, and the prison itself seems to raise some questions, this is definitely worth investigating.
Sally: I've never seen Fiona like this...
Sally rushed over to Fiona who proceeds to Hug her.
Fiona: PLEASE DON'T DO IT! I BEG YOU! PLEASE DON'T SEND ME TO THAT PRISON! I DON'T WANT TO GET BEATEN AGAIN! *Fiona continues to sob while Sally tries to calm her down*
Sally: *Thinking* Again? what could she mean by that? Now I know there's got to be more to Fiona's past than she's letting on!
Sally hugs back in an effort to calm Fiona down, but Fiona just kept on crying.
Larry: *Larry puts his hand on Fiona's shoulder* Fiona...please take a deep breath and listen to me...We're not going to let them take you to Vilethorn!
Fiona: *Sobbing* You're...not?
Sally: No! No one, not even you deserves that kind of fate! But you really need to shape up!
Fiona: *Emotional* I promise I'll shape up...I'll show them! I'll show everyone that I don't deserve to go there...they'll all see...I will take the program!
Larry: That's the spirit! I volunteer at the center on weekends so I will be more than happy to show you the ropes around the place.
Fiona: *Calms down* Well...Okay
Sally: Thank you Larry, that means a lot.
As everyone parted ways, the day went on into night as Sally was getting ready for bed.
Fiona: Sally? May I talk to you for a second?
Sally acting cautiously walks into Fiona's room in case she tries to pull anything.
Sally: Yes what is it?
Fiona: well I just want to apologize for that fight we had! I was out of line...
Sally: Well I accept your apology
Fiona: I'm also sorry for fighting you.
Sally: Fiona it's okay
Fiona: *Voice Trembling* not it's not...
Sally: Look I'm sorry too, I never meant to say all that stuff!
Fiona: But you're right...maybe I am a coward. When I said wasn't going to that rehab center, it was because...I'M SCARED!
Sally: Scared? What's there to be scared of?
Fiona: *emotional* I've never been to a place like that before! What if people think I'm some sort of deranged Lunatic? What if People are scared of me?
Sally: There's nothing to fear...sure you've caused some trouble but that doesn't mean you're a psychopath. I'm willing to stand by you, despite our differences in the past.
Fiona: But even if I completed the program, what if people won't forgive me?
Sally: Forgiveness and redemption takes time! It's a journey not a destination, and if you'll let me, I can help guide you through that journey.
Fiona took a moment to think about that. She has always been wary of trusting people, but seeing as Sally was determined to help her get through the 3 month rehab session, she gave her a small smile.
Sally: You don't have to answer right away, but just know that if we're going to get through this, then we need to work with each other and not against each other.
Fiona: Okay Sally, I'll let you guide me *Proceeds to hug Sally* And one more thing?
Sally: Yes?
Fiona: Thank you for saving my life back at the river.
Sally: You're welcome.
And with that Sally went to her room, and puts Nicole on her dresser and got into bed.
Nicole: You're doing the right thing here, Sally!
Sally: Thanks Nicole! It's going to be a long journey, but I know if we can work hard enough, we can pull through.
