Rocket Senior knew Herbert was right about this and was scooping up a sleeping Ranger gently, as Herbertteleported them to Wondergore as they were heading to the infirmary as Ranger was concerned until Rocket Senior explained while he was being prepped for surgery so was calming down alomg with looking adorable in a hospital gown whichbRocket Senior pointed out to the kit seeing him smile but whimpered, as Dr Ball gave him the sleepytime shot to knock him oht so they could do the surgery only Herbert noticed Rocket Senior was quiet.
"You're not like Elanor or the jerks that treated him badly. You're doing this because you love him just like ke when Infound Rocket, after Elanor kicked him into the snow and made him stronger so nobody could push him around." he reassured him. Rocket Senior nodded as he was chomed up hearibg this holding Ranger's paw as they were doing the surgery which Herbert got knowibg Ranger would be sore for a bit which Rocket Senior got knowing this was a good thing.
After a bit, the surgery was successful, which relieved him plus would explain to Logan later knowing Ranger would wake up in a bit and be sore seeing Rocket Senior leaving but heading to the mall buying his boy some things including a stuffie as Ranger loved them so planned to introduce him to Rocket when he felt better. making Herbert nodding thinking this was a good idea
"Yeah, and think he's beginning to wake up. Younthink he'll be able to talk." Rocket Senior asked him.
"Maybe once the cybernetics in his throat settle down, buddy like Rocket when this happened." Herbert told him. That made Rocket Senior happy as hecared about his big lil boy which made Herbert get it squeezing his paw gently making him nodding and after a while saw Ranger stir but whimpering majibg him understand explaining to him what was going on seeing him hold Ranger's paw which was bandaged like the rest of hij but knew he'd feel better soon seeing Herbert nodding seeing Rocket Senior feed him a bottle to help him which was helping his throat making Herbert relieved by that realising Logan would worry about them seeing Rocket Senior texting his Wolvy to explain what wasgoing on.
"Good thinking Marshmallow, as he would worry or think we're in danger." he told him.
Rocket Senior nodded as he saw Ranger smile weakly taking an nap but was watching him rest, but texting Rocket telling him, that Ranger was verymuch alive knowing he'd want to see him along with explaining what was happening to Ranger. Henodded in replyyawning as which he and Herbert found adorable kissing his snout seeing him asleep.
"How did you get here, Logan as Ranger is asleep recovering from the operation." Rocket Senior asked Logan. It was later and Logan had been teleported to Wondergore by Herbert giving him an universe-travelling device and was understanding their boyhad went through a major operation like him as it reminded him of him finding Rangeradorable in bandages making RocketSenior agree.
"He will feel better soon, but we can teach him words, for when he starts talking. I told Rocket about him." he told Logan.
"That's a good idea but." Logan said with a grin. They were going to have coffee at the coffee shop but Rocket Senior had been telling him, about what had happened with Ranger making Logan smirk.
