"Well, I'm starting to wonder if there are any ghouls out there that are capable of defeating the rangers." Creepna said. "We keep sending one loser after another, but not a single one is able to defeat any of those rangers."

"I have to agree." Gar said. "There must be someone out there that has the power needed to defeat the rangers." They were trying to think of someone that can defeat the rangers, but no ghoul they can think of comes into mind.

"Even those rangers aren't' invincible. One thing we do have in common with them is that we won't give up." Prince Ghoular claimed. "There must be someone that is up to the task."

"Perhaps I can heed your request." All of them looked and saw a brand new ghoul walking into throne room. This one wore a green robe-like clothing with armor over the chest and legs with dragon head-like pieces sitting on his shoulder. He also had long white hair tied back with him wearing a mask that had glowing eyes and jagged teeth. He also had bladed fingers. "It's nice to see you, Prince Ghoular. You've certainly grown over these many years."

"Who are you? Identify yourself!" Gar said as he aimed his sword right at him.

"Don't point that thing at me." The ghoul said as he shoved it out of the way. "Didn't your mother ever tell you it's not nice to point?"

"It's a fair request. Who are you?" Prince Ghoular said.

"I'm actually offended. I thought you of all ghouls would know me." He claimed. "Then again, I wasn't around all that much, at least when it came to you. I was too busy serving your father. Being one of his generals was truly an honor, but I be more than happy to serve you as well. It will be nice to serve loyalty again. Imagine the shock when ghouls hear that Severin has returned."

"Severin?!" Prince Ghoular said as he and his two subordinates were surprised to here that name. "Are you saying that you are the same Severin? You were my father's most powerful general. Even Wolfsin didn't compare to you."

"I thought you perished with the king." Creepna said.

"My king may have sadly perished, but I survived. Now, I have returned to offer my services." Severin claimed. If he's as bad as they're claiming, the rangers could be in real trouble with this one. "I've been away, but I've heard what has been happening lately. That is why I am returning. Prince Ghoular, you are the son of my late king. It would be my honor and great pleasure to aid you."

"Your timing is impeccable, Severin." Prince Ghoular claimed. "We are in need of someone who might be able to defeat these rangers, but they have proven to be powerful foes."

"Is that right? Perhaps, I should test them and see for myself just how powerful they truly are." Severin claimed.

Chalice

Ever since Pro became the Silver Ranger, he has been wondering if he is really up to the task. Being a guide and a ranger at the same time comes with a lot of responsibility. Still, he wants to be able to do his part. That's why he's trying to work on a little something that might help.

"What do you think he's working on?" Timmy questioned.

"Maybe a new weapon or something that can help." Lance said.

"Here's a way we can find out." Johnny said as he stepped forward. "Pro! What are you working on?!" Sometimes, the direct approach does work.

"Something that might be able to help in future battles." Pro said. "I'm just wondering if I can really handle something like this. I never had the chance to learn how it works."

"What is it?" Hannah asked, but Pro just remained silent. "You're not still having doubts about you being a ranger. Having a sixth ranger around will be a big help. If it wasn't for you, we would have been in real trouble with Wolfsin." They were worried that might have been the case.

"Look, if you're not up for it, find someone who is. We don't really have the time for wimps or doubt." Johnny said.

"You don't have to put it so rudely." Austin said, but it has them all worried about Pro still having doubts about his capabilities. Just then, they were receiving an alert from the mystic waters. The water was practically restless. "What's going on with it?"

"This must be a very powerful ghoul." Pro said. "You all must be real careful."

"Us? Aren't you coming?" Lance said.

"I have to get this finished." Pro said. "I'll join you when I'm able to."

"I knew it. You're still having doubts, and we can't have that now." Johnny said as he just jumped to conclusions and just left.

"Just do what you can and join us when you're available." Lance assured as he want Pro to feel like he's a part of the team. After that, they hurried off to face whoever this enemy might be. What they don't know is they're facing one powerful enemy.

The Outskirts

A team of battas was attacking the city. They remained just outside it and was using catapults to launch attacks. Lance and the others rode their horses out to where they were. When they got there, they were a little surprised to see it was just mere foot soldiers.

"They're all just batta. I thought there was a powerful ghoul here." Austin said.

"There must be a leader nearby or something." Timmy said.

"Keep your guard up. We'll have to take care of these guys." Lance said as they all mounted off their horses and charged straight into this fight.

"Call of the Knights!" All five of them morphed and were ready for battle. However, lightning struck out of nowhere and blasted the whole area. The rangers were blown back from the attack and were quite surprised at that.

"What just happened?" Hannah questioned.

"That attack was fierce. Look, it even took out their own." Timmy said as they all all of the batta were instantly destroyed.

"Who could have done something like that?" Lance questioned.

"That would be me!" They all looked and saw Severin levitate down to the ground. The rangers could tell that he was the one they were really warned about. "You must be the infamous rangers I've heard about. A pleasure. The name is Severin, the one who is going to send you all to their demise."

"He must be the one we were really warned about." Johnny said.

"He might be powerful, but he's just another ghoul we have to take down." Lance said.

"You've never faced a ghoul like me before, but please try. I'm always in the mood for some amusement." Severin dared.

"You asked for it!" Lance said. He charged right in and went on the attack. He wasn't afraid of Severin as Lance swung his sword at him, but Severin easily deflected it.

"I told you that you never faced someone like me." Severin said as he blocked each attack until he slashed against Lance. "Get the point?!" He thrusted his arms at great speed and slashed against Lance until he knocked him down.

"Hang on, Lance!" Timmy said as he charged in to try and help.

"Am I more than you expected? Shocking development!" Severin said as he fired lightning right from his hand and blasted Timmy. Timmy went down in just one strike.

"Knight Shooter!" Johnny fired his weapon and blasted Severin, but each shot did little to nothing. "No way!"

"Thanks for the tickle. Now, let's have a ball." Severin said. He formed a ball made of pure energy. He kicked it like a soccer ball, but it smashed against Johnny with it carrying the force of a storm right in it.

"Let's double team him!" Austin said as he and Hannah tried attacking together.

"Let's go for a spin!" Severin said as he spun around like a twister. He flew straight at both of them and slashed against them like how a tornado smashing against everything until it breaks. The rangers can't seem to keep up with him. "Don't tell me the fun is over already. After being away for so long, I was hoping for some real fun."

"Oh man. This guy is really something. We didn't even put a scratch in him." Timmy said.

"I'm calling Pro. We need some help." Lance said as he tried to make the call, but Pro wouldn't answer. "Nothing? Where is he?"

"We don't need the help from someone that isn't sure he should be here. We can handle this just fine." Johnny said as he kept fighting.

"Pro wouldn't leave us hanging like this. Would he?" Lance said as he isn't sure. Pro has proven to be there when they needed it, but being a ranger is different form being a guide. What if Pro really is still torn between his ranger desires and his mentor responsibilities. Lance snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Johnny being attacked as Severin has slashed his bladed hand against him and knocked him down.

"I was expecting more from the descendants that defeated my once great king." Severin claimed. "Don't tell me this is all you've got. I was hoping for more of a challenge."

"We're not beaten just yet. Surround him!" Lance called. All five of them gathered around him and readied for their attacks. "Power Slash!" All five of them attacked at once, but Severin jumped into the air and avoided the attacks. Once he did that, he had lightning strike down and blasted all five of them.

"That was a rather pretty attack." Severin said once he landed down. "Is there anything else you like to try?"

"This guy is really starting to bug me." Austin said.

"I've got a fun trick to try. Watch closely." Severin said as he held up a piece of paper. Then, he used his fingers like scissors and started making something.

"What's he doing?" Hannah said.

"Arts and crafts?" Timmy questioned as this was weird.

"Watch closely." Severin said as he held up a paper figure of something he made. Then, he had energy flow into it and he created a giant white fighting machine with blades sticking out of its arms. It towered over all of them and nearly stomped down on the rangers. "I call this thing the Machetter."

"How did he make that thing from just paper?" Johnny questioned.

"It doesn't matter. We've got to take it down while we still can." Lance said. Each of them were getting ready to call their zords.

"Nope!" Severin said as he fired lightning at them again and prevented them from calling any zords. "I'm actually disappointed. I was hoping for something a little more fun and challenging. Machetter, finish them off!" His special fighting machine raised and arm and attempted to finish them off. It looked like they were in real trouble, but that was when they heard something else heading their way. All of them looked and saw it was a silver bull-zord charging straight the Machetter. It smashed against it and kept it away from the other rangers.

"Is that a bull-zord?" Hannah questioned.

"Where did that thing come from?" Timmy questioned.

"Who do you think?! It's me!" Pro called as he was inside and piloting the zord.

"It's Pro!" Austin said.

"I knew he wouldn't let us down!" Hannah said with Johnny starting to feel bad.

"I've got this thing. Don't worry. Bull-Zord, charge!" Pro called as he charged right at Severin's machine and smashed the bulls horns against it.

"Six warriors? One more than usual won't make too much of a difference." Severin claimed. The Machetter attacked once more as it swung its blades right down on the zord and tried to wreck it. "That's it!"

"Are you forgetting about us?!" Lance said as they kept trying to fight Severin.

"Don't you know what happens when you mess with the bull?" Pro said. He had the bull push back and shake the Machetter off him. "Now to try out the new feature. Transform!" The bull began to transform itself. First, it pushed itself off the ground so that the back of the bull would be the front of the megazord. Once it was straightened out, the front legs rotated and had hands come out to use the arms. The final touch was a slot sliding down the back of the bull's head for the megazord's face to appear. "Bull Armored Megazord! Ready!" Once it transformed, the Machetter tried to attack. "Twin Spear!" He had the megazord wield a double-sided spear and was able to fend off the Machetter. After that, it fought back as it swung the spear and used both sides of it.

"What are you waiting for?!" Severin called in the middle of his fight with the rangers. "Fight back!" The Machetter did just that as it fired beams from its blades, but Pro was able to endure it.

"Twin Lightning Strike!" Pro called as he went for the final strike. He gathered electricity into the spear and unleashed it as his own lightning attack. He attacked with both sides and did some real damage that the Machetter was actually destroyed.

"I didn't see that one coming." Severin said. "I think it's time I take my leave, but we'll meet again one day. Big things are coming and you can't stop it." With that, he opened up a portal for himself and retreated for now.

"What did he mean by that?" Timmy questioned.

"I don't know, but I know we haven't seen the last of him." Lance said. Severin might be gone, but he'll be back one day.

Chalice

"Rangers, I've heard tales about this Severin." Pro said as he came in. "He's quite a dangerous ghoul. He was once one of the generals that..." He came in to tell the others about what he knew, but he noticed how they were all gathered together. "What's this?"

"We got you a little something." Hannah said.

"It's our way of saying sorry and that we shouldn't have doubt you." Lance said. "You're one of us and we need to trust that you'll be there as a guide, friend, or fellow ranger." Then, he showed them their gift. A whole new set of silver clothes that Pro loved. Pro was now wearing a silver jacket with black pants and shirt with a chain around him like a belt and even worse silver shoes.

"Amazing." Pro said.

"Now, you're one of us and can go around in public in style." Hannah said.

"Thank you." Pro said.

"We're a team, and we help each other." Johnny admitted. This Severin might be a powerful ghoul, but as long as this team trusts each other and has faith, they can pull through.
