3rd person POV:

On the outside, it looked as if Denki was confused as to what had happened and where everyone had gone, but on the inside, he was praying that his teacher and friend wouldn't question what had happened because then he would have to lie to one of his favorite teacher's and friend.

The thing about Denki Kaminari was that he hated to lie to the people he cared about, even if they didn't care about him back. He felt that if he lied to them, then when the truth finally got out, he would lose everything that he held dear to him, he already felt bad about having to lie about his home life and the fact that he was in the flipping mafia, but that was something that he had been doing almost his whole life, that was something that was so engraved into him that if he even tried to tell someone other than the people he called family, he would stumble over his words and end up just saying something else.

He hoped and prayed that it wouldn't come down to that. That he wouldn't have to betray the people he cared about.

In the end though, as Mr. Aizawa was about to say something Denki just got up, grabbed his stuff, and then left the classroom, leaving Aizawa and Bakugo to watch his back as he left the classroom.

Denki's POV:

As I left the class, my mind started to wander, my feet carrying me out the door towards the dorms as if I were on autopilot. Once I was standing in front of the dorm room door, my body automatically unlocked the door entering and closing it behind me, my mind wandering around to everything around me.

I set my backpack down by my desk and walked to my bed sitting down on it facing my door. I started to feel tired so I laid down to fall asleep.

Then a dream I haven't had in years emerged.

3rd person POV:

In the tranquil waters of their backyard pool, fate took a cruel turn for five-year-old Denki. As he splashed and played in the water, his body surged with an unexpected power. Unbeknownst to him, his quirk had awakened, granting him the ability to manipulate electricity.

Tragedy struck when his older sister, fifteen-year-old Sakura, jumped into the water. The surge of electricity coursed through Denki's body and inadvertently released a deadly shock through the water, electrocuting her on contact, but leaving no damage on the young boy. In a moment of confusion, Denki witnessed his sister's lifeless body floating to the surface.

Grief and guilt consumed Denki's parents. They blamed him for Sakura's death and subjected him to relentless abuse. Bruises, cuts, and scars marred his once-innocent body. The home that once echoed with laughter now reverberated with the sound of his cries.

After enduring years of physical and emotional torture, Denki's spirit began to break. He feared for his life and knew he had to escape. One cold, winter night, when he was 11, he slipped out of his house and ran into the darkness.

Alone and afraid, Denki wandered the streets for days. Hunger gnawed at his stomach, and the bitter cold chilled him to the bone. But amidst his despair, a flicker of determination burned within him. He was determined to survive and find a place where he could be safe.

As fate would have it, Denki stumbled upon a small, dilapidated bar on the outskirts of the city. A mafia called the LOV lived there, and they took pity on the lost and frightened boy. The leader, Shigaraki, who at the time was 15 offered him shelter and sustenance, and for the first time in years, Denki felt a glimmer of hope.

Once the dream was over Denki slowly started to wake up with tears streaming down his face. He quickly moved to remove the tears that hadn't fallen in years, but they just kept coming no matter how hard he tried to dry them. Eventually, though he just let it be and laid down on his pillow facing the wall, the sound of the ticking clock lulling him into a dreamless sleep.
