Chapter 17: Hong Kong Sunrise Pt 2
V and Ayaka were in a basement cellar under a broken house to wait for the robots to lose interest before continuing. V looks over to see Ayaka took some damage and her bodysuit is torn to pieces. "You hurt?' he asked.
"Dragon Silk, remember. I'm bulletproof, almost," she said to rip off the suit to only be in a white sports bra and blue panties. She places her gun holsters on her thighs, puts her sword on her back, and ammo pouches on her body. She still has fingerless gloves, combat boots, a tactical harness, and a small backpack. "Well, my suit is useless and I am just in my undies. Modesty be damned, we are fighting robots. Don't think they care about boobs and ass," Ayaka said.
"You look like a Mox," V said lightly since Mox barely wears anything in combat.
"Fighting in barely anything and making it look good," Ayaka said patting her bra feeling strong with her armored skin. "Hope you don't get distracted, Honey," she teased.
"Yes, it's distracting but it's worth hanging out with you," V said as Ayaka playfully shakes her chest with her bra barely holding back her huge boobs from jiggling.
"Yeah, you are right, keep your eyes on the mission and you see them again," she said as she checked her weapons.
V sees his body armor is wreaked to toss it to the side with him still using Chitin subdermal armor blocking his whole body. "My helmet still works," V said as he cocks his G-58 Dian submachine gun to load up electric weapons.
Ayaka looks around the area to see if there is anything useful to see a hole in the area. "Oh, we can go through here," she said to bend down to begin crawling. "Don't look too hard," she teased as she can feel his eyes on her ass.
"Failing at that," V said as they went through the hole to be within another basement of a house.
"We should be going to the train station and go through the tunnels that lead to the old robotic factory underground," Ayaka said as she drew her Tamayura pistol to hear something coming downstairs.
A Bombus drone is hovering down to use its sensors to detect anyone here. She uses her cyberdeck to knock it out and fall onto the floor. She grabs onto the Bombus to see it has a bomb inside.
"Oh boy, this has a bomb in it," she said as she went upstairs to see various robot troopers there. She tosses the Bombus to trigger it to make it explode destroying the group of robots. She fires the 10mm bullet into the head of a robot trooper to use her sword to slice it in half.
They go outside to see a large robot looming through the lonely streets. The couple go into a building to hide from this big metal beast. She scans the lumbering beast to see it's a large autonomous bipedal combat robot standing at 9 feet tall. "This is called a BAAP or Bipedal Automatic Attack Walker with one arm having a 20mm triple barreled Gatling gun and the other arm having an anti-personnel rocket battery. It's made for armored support to take on infantry, light vehicles, and Combat Borgs," Ayaka said.
"Gee, we can't fight that hit on or we will be turned to bloody bits," V said as they sneaked around the large mech to avoid seeing Minotaur robots nearby.
"Time to take control," Ayaka uses her Cyberdeck to hack into a Minotaur to begin going on a rampage to use its two HMGs to fire explosive rounds to tear up the other Minotaurs while destroying a wave of robot soldiers and brawlers. Ayaka made the robot rush in to take them up in a self-destruction killing off a whole group of enemies.
"Good work Princess," V said as they kept moving head into a building to see more robot troopers and brawlers to go after them.
"Kill the meat bags," Delta ordered through one of the bots.
"Why does he do this? He can control them using a powerful radio signal?" Ayaka
"Just likes hearing his voice," V said as he was using his G-58 Smart gun to let out rapid-fire electric rounds to take out robots.
Ayaka dodges incoming Brawlers with her using her sword to slice them up but gets punched on the chest to knock her away.
She regains her balance by landing her feet on a wall to leap at it and slash them to pieces. She gets shot in the chest but she stands her ground not flinching to use her pistol to shoot the trooper apart.
V switches to his Diplomat select fire shotgun to have it loaded with electro slugs using it in pump action mode to fire the slugs taking down brawlers and troopers. A Bombus flies in ready to explode with Ayaka shutting it down preventing it from blowing them up.
She kicks the round drone to set it off to destroy a group of robot troopers. A Robot Scout aims its Kolac to fire a 50 BMG round to strike Ayaka in the head to knock her back into the building. Her Dragon Silk managed to block it but she got a wicked headache.
"Stupid bot," she aims her PLS to fire a mini rocket to blast the robot turning it into scrap metal.
"You, okay?" he asked, sounding concerned.
"I need a pill to clear up this headache but I am good," she said lightly as her long tail blocks a bullet from a nearby trooper to use Tech revolver to put several charged rapid shots to destroy it. "Into that nightclub," she said as they sped inside to close the door.
"Are we getting close?" V asked as Ayaka looked through her file to see a holographic map of the city.
"Yes, we are close. We can cut through here," Ayaka said as she held her Quaser sidearm to keep going forward. They go into the main lobby to see if there is power there. "Interesting," she said.
"Must be an old backup generator," V said as they saw a bunch of dead Edgerunners nearby. Looking like there was a fight that didn't end well for the mercs for hire. "Gee, they didn't go out in a blaze of glory," V said.
"No, it's a slaughterhouse here. These Edgerunners died like fools trying to fight millions of robots that don't tire and never stop marching forward to kill their targets," she said to see a new weapon called a DA10 Quark sub carbine which has a similar role and size to the 20th century AKS-74U chambered in the 6.8x43mm in 25-round magazines. It has a reflex sight, suppressor, and foregrip. "Nice," she said as Ayaka flipped the side folding stock into position along with some ammo for it and her PLS.
"Don't like Edgerunners?' V asked.
"They only care about money. No honor or loyalty. They go hard and die fast. That's what most of them are like anyway," Ayaka said.
"Yeah, it's very cutthroat," he said.
"Regret being one?" she asked.
"I don't regret meeting some good people but working in Night City is a nightmare. You always have to watch your back, very uneasy. Trying to be a legend isn't what it is," V said as Johnny despite being a Night City Legend, is swept up in the sands of time and buried like everything else.
"Yeah, I get why people want to be legends. To be remembered but I have seen these legends burn out and in the grand scheme of things. Most people don't care about some killer who buried a lot of people," Ayaka said as V nodded his head.
"Yeah," V said
"Thankfully you avoided their fate and now you are in a better place now," Ayaka said lightly caressing his face.
"All thanks to you and Lady Michiko," V said.
"Of course, but you made the first leap of faith and now you are here doing your part," she said as they heard something. "There are people here, Edgerunners. We need to take them out, they will make this more difficult," she said.
"I will make quick work of them," V said as Ayaka kissed him on the lip.
"Good boy," she said sweetly for him to disappear into the shadows. Ayaka marked several Edgerunners inside taking places but she has complete faith in his fighting ability.
V cloaks and disappears in the shadows to stalk his prey. He pulls out his arm blades to go behind an Edgerunner to drive his swords into her back to split her in half. He fires his Silver Talon magnum pistol to blow off Edgerunner's head.
"The fuck," the others said as they see V there with fear overwhelming them. "V the Reaper," they said in shock to see him there hunting them down.
"Hello guys, time to die," V said to disappear into the shadows
"You got to be kidding, this was a bad job from the start," the leader said.
"Choom, he killed Adam Smasher. What the fuck do we do," a rookie freaked out as V is picking them apart with ease.
"Keep calm, he is just a man," the leader said but he got nailed in the head getting turned into red mist.
"Oh shit," the rookie said to fire his pistol at V but it simply bounce off his armored skin. He activates his Sandevistan but V uses his own to outspeed him to slice off his head while rending his body to bloody pieces.
Ayaka is waiting for two Netrunners to detect her and they begin to hack her body. She lets out a big sigh with her Self-ICE activates to block the enemy quickhacks and trace the source. "Oh Shit," the Netrunners got counters with Ayaka using Synaptic Burnout with both of their brains being cooked while they rapidly die from their injuries. "What fools," she said with a cheeky smile.
"It done, you, okay?" he asked.
"Yes, I took care of my end," Ayaka said to check their bodies to grab ammo, spare food packages, and gear.
"We need to move, they are going to check the noise," V said as they moved through the nightclub for the BAAP to start bombing the building to flatten it into a crater.
V and Ayaka leaped out the window to enter through a door to go into the basement to avoid getting blasted to bits. V's face gets shoved into Ayaka's deep cleavage. "Oh Vincent, getting naughty on the battlefield," she flirted.
"Sorry," he said staring at her large breasts trapped in her sports bra barely containing their movement.
"Your dick isn't sorry," she said to see his pants pitching a tent.
"Well, we should get moving," V said
"Those guys called you Reaper?" she asked.
"Oh, that's what people called me in Night City when I was an Edgerunner.
"Right, everywhere you go. Death is not too far behind. Beautiful displays of power and skill," she said being allured by his battle prowess. They go up the building to be close to the train station to see the BAAP is blocking their path.
"Shit, we need to get rid of that thing," V said as Ayaka uses her grapple gun to gain further ground on the rooftops.
"Cover me," Ayaka said as V came into the open to use his Sandy to draw the attention of the large bot to unleash a barrage of bullets and rockets. V is using his speed and reflexes to avoid the blasts but some got very close to him.
Ayaka lands on the rooftop to use her sword to chop a trooper to pieces. She wields her new Quark sub carbine letting the bullets tear into the nearby troopers. She tosses her blade to impale a trooper. She leaps onto the sword hilt to destroy the bot with her powerful cyber legs. She leaps into the air to see more troopers and brawlers to charge up her Projectile Launcher to fire rapid shots emptying all 5 mini rockets from her launcher arm to destroy over 20 robot infantry.
She lands on the roof to grab her Mist Slicer to see more Bombus trying to swarm her. She deactivated some but took control of some to send them into the BAAP to crash into it setting up a series of explosions damaging the large robot.
"Not enough," she said as she looked for something to put it down for good. "V is doing a good job distracting the large bot but he can't keep using his sandy," Ayaka thought as V gets blasts to get sent flying through a window.
V sees more troopers use their guns and blades to kill them off to avoid a barrage of missiles to destroy a section of the building V is in.
Ayaka finds something useful which is a shoulder-mounted weapon. "Oh, an AVLW (Anti Vehicle Laser Weapon) this will come in handy," Ayaka sees it needs to charge before firing.
She aims the weapon at the BAAP to hold down the trigger to hear the gun winding up and unleash a big laser beam to tear into the rocket pad triggering it to explode further damaging the robot. She fires again and lands a direct hit with the laser beam to punch right through the robot to see it lifelessly crash onto the street.
"Booyah, that is what I am talking about," V said feeling hyped up with Ayaka saw the weapon had no juice left to toss it again. "Laser cannon, crazy stuff," V said.
"Yeah, you can't stop a laser burning through your body. The way is cleared," Ayaka said as she grabbed his hand to guide him into the train station. "Eyes on the prize, we are almost there," she said noticing V watching her ass bouncing in her blue panties with her long metal tail caressing his face playfully.
"Of course, I have had enough of this place," V said as they saw there was a battle between the Edgerunners and robotic forces. "Rough through here," V said.
"You will be the same as they were. Dead and rotting on the ground with your weak meat bodies," Delta said.
"Come on, we are almost at your robot factory. You are getting cornered," V said to call him out.
"Once we get inside the factory. We need to turn off the signal and cut off his army. Then use a virus to purge him from the system," Ayaka said as they kept going forward in the tunnels for their mission almost over to confront the powerful Ai ruling over Hong Kong.
