As the Roman empire crumbles, young Romulus Augustus flees the city and embarks on a perilous voyage to Britain to track down a legion of supporters. It's a prequel to Beowulf: The Epic Tale.

3. Chapter 3 - Caesar

Chapter 3: Caesar:

Romulus' POV:

Aurelius and I have entered a villa.

"I know this place," says Anthonix, "it was built during the reign of Emperor Tiberius!"

I then found something and took a look.

I'm in some kind of hidden chamber. I then found a statue of Julius Caesar holding his sword. They say it was forged by a Chalybian smith during his invasion of Britain. I then read something. It says, 'he who is destined to rule'. I then took the weapon.

"There you are," says Anthonix, "wh... this is the Chamber of Julius Caesar!"

We then heard something. "What was that," I asked.

We then got out and saw an army. Aurelius was at the front. "Greetings," says Aurelius, "Nextor, Vatrenus, Demetrius, Batiatus, Theodorus, Tertius, and Germanus, we are the Last Legion!"
