As the Roman empire crumbles, young Romulus Augustus flees the city and embarks on a perilous voyage to Britain to track down a legion of supporters. It's a prequel to Beowulf: The Epic Tale.

4. Chapter 4 - The Last Legion

Chapter 4: The Last Legion:

Romulus' POV:

The Last Legion were taking us somewhere. "Where are we going," I asked.

"We're taking you to a seaport," says Aurelius, "where you'll meet Emperor Zeno!"

"I'll get you safe passage to Constantinople," says Emperor Zeno.

"Something's not right," says Anthonix.

"What do you mean," I asked.

We were then attacked by goths.

"Zeno," says Aurelius, "he's working with Odoacer.

We then got away as the Lost Legion fought them off.

. . .

"I believe it's best to seek refuge in Britain," says Anthonix.

"And the Last Legion will remain by your side," says Aurelius.

. . .

We were then on our way to Britain, but some Goths, led by Wulfila. They attacked us and Wulfila took the sword from me. We then ran from them.

. . .

We then made it to the English Channel. "Let's go," I said.
