As the Roman empire crumbles, young Romulus Augustus flees the city and embarks on a perilous voyage to Britain to track down a legion of supporters. It's a prequel to Beowulf: The Epic Tale.

7. Chapter 7 - The Fight

Chapter 7: The Fight:

Romulus' POV:

The Legion fought against the Goths. During the fight, Aurelius manages to get the sword back and used it.

"All we want is the surrender of Romulus," says Wulfila.

"Never going to happen," says Aurelius.

The goths left, but there were many casualties.

. . .

Too many have died. "I'm sorry," I said.

"I knew many of them," says Archfedd.

"What do we do," asks Nestor.

"We go and face them," I said.

. . .

We then prepared an army. "Romulus, this is Lavanya," says Aurelius, "she was the only one in the Eastern Empire who did not intend to betray you!"

"There were many, actually, but I was more open about it," says Lavanya.

"A pleasure," I said, "Archfedd, what are you doing?"

"I wish to join you," says Archfedd.

"Alright then," I said.

We were then on our way to face the Goths.
