Background: Elliott White was a happy kid with a good life and a loving family. But the day after his sister, Belle, turned ten, the family's house mysteriously caught fire. His mom and dad quickly grabbed their children and hurried to get out. However, a wooden beam fell on top of them, pinning them under it!
Elliott and Belle tried to move the beam, but it was too heavy. Their parents pleaded with them to get out, assuring that they would be fine, but the kids didn't want to leave them. Finally after what seemed like hours, Elliott grabbed his sister and ran out before the house burned to the ground... with their parents still inside.
The emergency services rushed to the scene and quickly got to work on putting out the fire and tending to the children's wounds. Elliott and Belle were devastated at the loss of their parents as the little girl cried into her brother's shirt. The teenage boy meanwhile was traumatized due to the night's events.
The two were then sent to live with their father's sister, Molly. A few years later after the incident, it was revealed that the fire was man-made. Meaning that someone had started the fire that took his parents lives!
After hearing this, Elliott vowed that would find whoever was responsible for the fire and make them pay.
