Three days have passed, since Karin, a remnant of the Uzumaki Clan had met Tsunade-the Godaime Hokage of Konohagakure. The entirety of Konoha seemed really peaceful as the day seemed normal. The sun was shining, the sky was a bright blue color and a few white clouds floated in the sky. All the civilians and Konoha Shinobi alike were living their lives, peacefully. Until...
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" Karin an Uzumaki remnant had screamed.
Inside of a library where Konoha Medical-Nin go to learn and practice Iryō Ninjutsu. Inside the library filled with pillars and stacked books shelves was Karin and the current Hokage, Tsunade. They both stood in front of a poll filled with white goo.
"WHAT THE HECK IS THAT STUFF?" Karin had screamed as she had stood in front of a pool filled with white goo and pointed at it. She was half naked as she had stood in nothing but a white towel.
"That is the potential cure." Tsunade said as she stared at the pool of white goo.
"Cure?" Karin had nervously asked Tsunade.
"Yeah. The cure for the-you know, the bite marks on your body. With this, it can make all of your marks disappear." Tsunade said, casually. 'The white pool of goo that she sees is from Katsuyu. She had moisturized herself into healing ooze. This should be enough to restore all the chakra that people had stolen from her in the past.' Tsunade had thought of the bitemarks on Karin's arms.
"Tsunade-hime, I-I appreciate that you care enough to heal my bitemarks, but, you didn't have to go this far... Heh." Karin had chuckled, embarrassingly.
"No, I insist that you try it. It's the least that I can do for my new apprentice." Tsunade had chuckled.
Karin had gasped and looked to Tsunade. "A-apprentice?"
"That's right." Tsunade smiled and nodded.
The moment that Tsunade had learned of Karin's lineage and backstory back in the hospital... was the moment when Tsunade had decided to take Karin under her wing as her apprentice.
"Go on. Try it." Tsunade had insisted.
Karin had looked back to the pool of white goo and frowned a bit. Something about the pool was creeping her out. She had slowly gulped, then sighed. She had slowly walked to the edge of the pool filled with white goo. In other words, Katsuyu's substances. She raised her left foot over the pool and was preparing to dip her big toe in it, first. At first, she hesitated to dip it in. But then, she had decided to get it over with and bury her big toe in it. And as soon as she did, she had suddenly felt chills in her body. "Eek!"
"Hm? What's the problem?" Tsunade looked at Karin a bit confused.
"It feels real slimy." Karin had looked back to Tsunade with a grossed out look on her face.
"Well, that's what it's supposed to be. Now stop hesitating and just get in the goo." Tsunade had demanded.
Karin had sadly sighed. She then turned back to the pool of white goo. She had dipped her left foot in the goo, slowly. "Mmph," She muffled after dipping her left foot in the pool of white goo. She had then slowly walked into the pool of goo. Still feeling creeped out. Her entire body was now covered in the pool filled with white goo as her head had floated.
"Now, was that hard?" Tsunade had asked after Karin had entered the pool filled with white goo.
"Um... maybe?" Karin had replied, not getting used to goo.
"I know goo is something that girls don't like, but there was no other option that we had." Tsunade had told Karin.
"Oh. So, do you know how long that I should stay in this... goo?" Karin asked Tsunade while looking at the goo all around her.
"For at least two-to-three hours." Tsunade said.
"T-TWO-TO-THREE HOURS?" Karin had yelled in shock.
"Yep." Tsunade had nodded. "Your bitemarks should fade away by that time that I get back." She then turned away and begun to eave the library.
"G-get back? Where are you going?" Karin had asked Tsunade as she was parting from the library.
"I hate to leave you behind, but I'm the Hokage. I have other important work to do. I'll make sure to check on you, soon." Tsunade said while leaving the library.
Karin had watched Tsunade leave the library and close the door behind her. Leaving the young red-headed Uzumaki remnant all alone in the pool of red goo. She had then sighed and rested the back of her head on the edge of the inner pool. 'Well, this is what I wasn't expecting. Myself being all alone in a pool filled with goo. And my "now" master, the Hokage is doing some important work.' She had stared at the ceiling. 'I guess this isn't something I should really be complaining about, since she did take me in as her apprentice. It's better than being with Kusagakure.' Karin had then closed her eyes as her body had floated in the pool of goo. She had begun to think of a certain someone.
An image of her deceased mother had appeared within her mind. 'Mother. I think... I finally found a place that I could call home. If only you had known of Konoha, beforehand... maybe, you and I would be happy. Together. I met some people that cares of my wellbeing-instead of my abilities.' Karin had then thought of two people whom were kind to her. Other than her own mother. Keisuke Hyūga from the Chūnin Exams and the Konohagakure's Godaime Hokage, Tsunade.
Karin had let out a smile on her face. 'I wish that you were here, right now.' She thought of her mother.
