"First of all, King did nothing-"

"My brother is who the fuck knows where, and your telling me that it's NOT his fault!"

"Neither of them started it! We're all stressed!"

"And your point?!"

"Amethyst, calm down. Neither started it, don't yell at King for something he didn't start."

Amethyst sighed. "Fine. On the other hand, what the hell happened?"

"So...basically, what happened was...a bunch of portals opened, one took Purple, and we're sure it's related to Navy."

"...Navy's dead?"

"So then what caused it?"

An energy ball hit the ground in front of them, creating a small Crater with the explosion.

"Purple?"

A maniacal cackle from above.

"...Nope."

Amethyst followed Crystal's gaze to the sky, where a brown spot stood.

...Well, he more flew, to say the least.

"Who the fu-"

Lavender stared in shock and realization.

"Mocha."

"Why does it always have to be me that takes these kids ANYWHERE?!" King thought to himself as he watched Second and his friends stumble around the roller rink. He didn't understand how the idea came up: Second and the others were hanging out with Gold and his friends, Gold had brought up roller-skating to Purple, who personally had never gone roller-skating(King knew who to blame for not giving his kid a good childhood), and suddenly he was babysitting all of them while Gold and Purple actually went roller-skating while the others flew around at lightning speed.

He personally found it funny, but kept his eyes on Purple, who clung tightly to Gold's hand while he and Sapphire carefully guided him across the rink. He smiled. Gold was such good-hearted when it came to other people, and he and Purple hadn't known each other less than a month. Maybe it's cause King and Purple were so close. He'd never know.

Maybe he could thank Navy for some things. After all, he was the reason he had found out Gold was actually still alive, he had brought him and Purple closer together, and in a way, showed Purple that King always had, and always will, love and care about him.

He had still almost killed Purple, but still. He had brought him and Purple closer than ever, and he was happy to see Purple so happy.

Until everything went wrong in the blink of an eye.

Other sticks entered the rink, blocking King's view of Purple until the newly-arrived stick figures were all crowded into a circle.

Now, King did not roller-skate. He couldn't keep his balance long enough to stay upright, even with someone guiding him and holding his hand.

He was half-expecting himself to run over, grab some roller-skates, and skate onto that rink and find Purple.

Until the stick in the center caught his attention.

Purple?

He couldn't hear anything over the sticks laughing over something, but he could tell it was hurting Purple: His palms were slammed over his ears, and if his watering eyes didn't say anything, something was getting thrown into his head, and it was really bad.

Green and the others showed back up and caught sight of King.

"Hey, King! You know where Purple went?" Green asked. King payed no attention to the young sticks and kept his eyes glued to the issue in front of him.

Your kids being bullied by a bunch of hoodlums.

Gold tried barrowing through the crow of howling kids, but was unsuccessful. Green, in almost an instant, threw his roller skates into King's hands and ran off to stop the music that was playing.

King knew what it meant, but he wasn't about to do it.

He did NOT roller skate.

But he had almost no choice.

As soon as he got the skates on and he sped towards the rink, one kid and his friend grabbed two cups(which King knew weren't supposed to be on the rink), and dumped it's contents all over Purple.

Another kid skated up to him and pushed him to the ground.

Well, shit.

"Sorry you can't cry to your mommy anymore!" They said, his voice sounded oddly familiar somehow. "You'll just have to cry to your daddy instead!"

The mention of Purple's so-called "dad" made his blood boil.

"Oh wait, can't do that either, you crybaby loser!"

Alright, THAT was it.

King flew across the rink, blood boiling over the edge and seething with rage. He noticed Green grab Blue's roller skates as he too sped across the rink, more focused on the kids bullying Purple.

"HEY! MOCHA!" Green screamed, his voice seething with rage. Mocha turned to Green and was met with the floor as Green slapped him so hard he lost his balance and fell flat on the ground.

The thought of Mocha was enough to boil his blood.

King didn't think Mocha would even think of returning for Purple, but here he was.

Purple, please be out there somewhere.

And be safe. Mocha is coming for you.

"Scar, isn't he supposed to be stuck in the...the fuckin note block place?" Green asked, turning to his friend.

"That's where he was when we last saw him, just before the whole Great Above thing...but why is he here?"

"Well, this is a nice surprise!" Mocha's voice sounded from above.

Now that King thought about it, the energy ball didn't look purple...or yellow.

Or blue, for that matter.

Another energy ball made it's way into Mocha's hand, and King was able to finally get a good look at it.

it wasn't even a remote match to any of the energy balls King had seen.

Or even close to Mocha's color.

It was pitch black. Darker than Chosen.

"Why the fuc-"

The energy ball came flying straight for them.

"LOOK OUT!"

King pushed Green and the others out of the way, ducking just before it hit him.

"Nice dodge, old man! But it's gonna take a whole lot more than that to stop m-"

An energy ball, a purple energy ball, blasted at Mocha, hitting him and sending him flying into the ground below.

King pulled Green and Red to their feet just as the other three left the group.

"What the-"

"Who the heck-"

Green glanced around for a moment before his eyes widened. "Purple's back!"

King and Red blinked, staring at each other.

"What?"

"Where?!"

Green tackled Purple to the ground, giving King a pretty good idea.

"Where do you think, kid?"

"Green, I know your happy to see me, but get off!"

"You were eaten by a fucking portal, and your expecting me not to try and suffocate you?!"

"YES."

"Okay, okay!" Green pulled Purple back to his feet, still holding his arms. "Are you okay?"

"After having to fight Orchid again? No."

"Where were you even taken?" Gold asked.

"Think the battle with Orchid before the whole Great Above incident, so when she decided to kill all of you...only she didn't bring you back."

"So we were all captured or left behind?"

"Captured and brainwashed."

"...Good God."

Purple winced. "It was a lot worse than it sounds."

"Well, we're dealing with Mocha, so..."

"Who?"

Gold sighed. "I'm actually glad you don't remember who he is."

"Was I supposed to?"

"No, not really."

"Good."

"We think he has some of Navy's powers, whether or not you remember him." Second explained.

"Why?"

King stepped forward. Finally. "He keeps shooting energy balls at us. Black ones. Think Chosen, but about five times darker if you can."

"How the fuc-"

"He might've merged as much power as he could...somehow."

"But how would he have gotten access to that technology, is my question." Chosen said. "Didn't Purple kill...pretty much everyone?"

"I killed Fern, Navy killed Orchid and Night Shade, and then I killed Navy," Purple explained. "All four of them should be dead, meaning there's no way Mocha could have used them to get power."

"What about Amber?"

King and Purple both stared at Dark.

"Where the fuck does she fit into this?"

"Simple. She straight vanished after we all escaped. She didn't come back with us, I highly doubt Amethyst found any trace of her," He glanced at the girl in question. When she shook her head no, Dark continued. "So maybe it was her?"

"How in hell would she have escaped, though?"

"..Fair question.

A scream from somewhere in the woods, and then silence.

It was then that Purple realized Mocha had disappeared while they were distracted.

"...Fuck."

"What? What's happened?!"

"I think I know what happened to Amber.."

An explosion sounded from above them, and a stick figure flew upwards, their body covered in sparks of electricity, and shrouded in an aura that immediately set Purple's head into panic.

"Uhm...was that supposed to happen?" King asked, already backing up.

"No. No it was not."

"Shit."

Purple turned to Chosen. "All of you, run."

"But-"

"Just run! I'll take care of these bastards, just run!"

Chosen pushed Dark into running, and the others followed.

An energy ball made it into Purple's hand.

"Okay. Here we go."

Meanwhile, in the dark forest, where moss and overgrowth covered a large building, another figure stood on the roof.

They watched the body beneath them disintegrate, before picking up the band that was left behind.
