On day twenty-three the same morning, they made it to the capital and entered Elhart's shop. The owner sees who enters his shop, happens to be the kid, and his party members with a blond girl "Hey kid, you're back, so did my advice help?" "Ya it did, but do you have a dress that stays on even after transition?" "I don't make those, why do you ask?" The teen put Filo ahead of him "Filo do that thing" "Ok captain" then she changed into her filolial form. When the man sees this "So kid, how did this happen?" "Well that merchant says that Filo is a candidate for filolial queen, and that's why she could change to human form" he already put the anti-slave crests on her just in case. "And so you came here to buy a dress that doesn't tear, right?" "Yep, you know anyone who can?" "There's a dress shop and a woman who can make one for her" After that, they felt the shop and headed to another shop.
When they made it to the shop, the owner was gushing about Filo "Wow look at her. She has wings. She must be an angel. Your daughter is cute, isn't she?" "No, she is not my daughter" he said "I'm wrong, girly, can you get your father to say that you're his daughter" the owner asked Filo "Is she right, are you my father?" he just takes a breath. "Fine she's… my daughter, now can we buy a dress for her already" " Sure thing, just give me magic threads" "Magic threads?" "Yes I need magic threads to make a dress just for her. You can get some at the magic shop" she explains how to get it "Alright then let's go t-" he stops talking, sensing a similar Ki signature. Everyone else looked at him. He told them he'll meet at the magic shop. He had to do something first and left the girls.
During his run "Human, where are you going?" "I just sensed someone familiar" he ran past people between alley and corners. When he was close just to seeing a water attack hitting some thugs when he walked to the alley. To see his squad mate with silver hair and the black bull robe that he wears "Noelle" he called out "Who are you, and how do you know my name?" she questioned the teen in bear robe. "It's me, Asta" He pulled down his hood and masked off "Bakasta, why do you dress like that?" she was shocked, not recognizing him at first "I can tell you about that later, but how are you here?" Then she starts telling him what happened earlier.
A few minutes ago, at the clover kingdom, Noelle was brought to a room by Nero "Why are you bringing me here, Nero" "We need to test if it works by opening it" They enter the room where Sally is also there "Why is she here" the silver hair teen asked "Because she want to help and study about other worlds" the girl in glasses turn to them "Oh hey you're one of the two those royals who were with Asta that night" "Ya and your that scientist who Bakasta that whose you" "Can't believe he's got sent to a another world who knows how many experiments I can't do" Noelle lead in close to Nero "You think it's a good idea letting her doing this?" "I'll be fine… I think?" they got close to the book being surrounded by a magical device built around it. "In theory, this device will use the book to open a portal, but without knowing where Asta is at, we can't bring him here" Nero explains why they need her here "And when you get there use this" Sally gave a communication device. "But I already have one" "But that one should work while in that other world" she explains why Noelle needs the device "Ok we're going to open the portal" Nero starts turning on the device it opens a portal then she jumps through. Noelle made it to the other side in the capital, and then some thugs showed up. She dealt with them with a water attack , and Asta showed up.
"And that how I got here" she just told him what had happened "Wow I'm just happy that's your here" "Bakasta, what are you saying" she punch him to ground "Ha you never changed" he gets back up with a smile "I wait to tell what I been doing, oh that reminds me give me your robe" "Why you need my robe" "We can't stand out here" he reach his arm to her, she gave him her robe, then he switched it with a bear robe and gave it to her "You better have a good reason for this" she put the robe hood down. "Because you will stand out, and you what more people like that going for you" "I guess you have a point" "Alright then, let's go. I have to introduce to my own squads" they put up their hoods, and he put his mask back on.
The two made it to the magic shop where his squad members are at, the girls see their captain, and another person wearing the same robe has them. "So did you girls find out where we get the magic threads from" he said. "Yes captain, but who is that with you?" "This is Noelle, one of my squad mates I'd told you before" the three girls who heard his story "Master, how is she here?" "It's captain, and I'll tell you girls about it later. Now, do we get magic threads?" he asked "Yes we can make it here, but my loom needs a new magic gemstone" The owner of the shop explained "So where do we get a magic gemstone then?" After they were told where to find the magic gemstone, they went to the carriage to talk about why Noelle is here.
Then, after explaining what happened "So that means you guys have a way to get to our world" Tara starts talking "Can we visit the master homeworld ourselves?" Raphtalia "It's captain" Asta corrected her again. "I don't know about that, it's still being tested" the silver hair teen answer "So father's homeworld has tasty food" Filo spoke up "FATHER, Bakasta what does she mean" Noelle grabbing Asta's collar shaking him, he stop her by holding her hands "First I can't expect me to answer if you shake me like that" he let her go "And second if you want to know everything then you sit down and listen" she nods "Great but before that" he turn around where the Ki signature is "Miss stalker lady you can come out now" the others a shadow woman jump out of the tree. "I don't like that name," she complained. "Well you get to know who I am and where I come from, with L" he said this while pulling L out his robe "Do I have to, human" "Yes you do" he told him.
Asta began to tell his name, how he got here, what he was doing, what L is, what slavery is, how he beat the spear hero, and why Filo called him father. "How will they do that to children" Noelle did not like the slavery part "So L is a devil that took over a balloon monster" Raphtalia said, looking at L "It's not really a big deal, raccoon girl" he said. "Didn't expect you to be the shield hero because you use those swords, but what you told us now I know why" the shadow says after hearing his story.
"So miss stalker lady, are you going to tell the queen? If so, can I ask her something?" "That depends on what you want" "Can I beat the leader of the church and her husband?" Everyone was taken a back from his question "Master, you know you're asking to beat up the king right" "It's captain, and yes, I already know" "Bakasta, this is the dumbest thing you could ask for" "Captain, why would you ask that" "Because he's one of the people responsible for slavery and just stop it isn't enough" he gave his reasons "I'll let the queen know about it" then the shadow left.
"Now with the miss stalker lady gone, we can be ready to find cave" he released one thing "But first, I'm going to need another carriage and something else" "Father what wrong with this one" Filo point the carriage behind her "Nothing wrong with it, we just more space for us and supplies for the journey" "So master, what the other thing you to get" "It's captain, and it's for Noelle" "What do I need? bakasta." "Some new clothes." "I got plenty of that." "So where is it?" When he asked her this, she remembered that she didn't bring anything with her. "Well I'll buy my own then" she tried to convince him "With what money?" didn't work for her, so she had no choice but to accept his offer.
So they go back to Elhart's shop while the carriage is being attached to another one, the man asks who Noelle is, she being her usual self and says something rude then Asta explains how she has a habit of saying without meaning it. Now Noelle wears brown boots, white with purple dress, leather gloves, armor piece, and bear robe to finish her look. "Huh Noelle, you look great" he commented "Of course I do, I'm royalty" she retorted "So kid, is she so sort of princess back where you came from?" "You can say something like that. We're just mainly working at the same magic knight squad," he responded. "I see. I hope you enjoy someone familiar," the man told him "I will" Once they're done, they leave the shop.
They did make a quick stop at the magic shop to buy two magical chests, then headed toward two connected carriages. "Alright the owner of the shop said that these chests can store more than usual chests, so one in each will be fine" Asta spoke up, then Tara and Kiera placed the chests inside. "Master, you think Filo can still pull this?" "It's captain, and it will be fine, right Filo?" he petted her head "Yes father watched me" then she turned into her filolial form. "So this is a filolial. It's like Nero." Noelle said regarding their newest squad member "Yes but Nero was a person that turned into a bird" he remained her. So they went into the carriages, and then Filo pulled it away, letting them go to find the cave.
Now we see the queen Mirellia, who just received reports from one of her shadows about Asta and his friend that show up. "I never guessed that there was another world of magic, but we do have the summoning ritual, so I shouldn't be that surprised" she spoke to her shadow "Yes, your majesty" "And not only that but it sounds like they have a way to open a portal soon" "That's how his comrade came about" "You know this is quite ironic they want a devil and they summon one, but someone who not happy of there doing" the shadow kept quiet "And for his request to beat up my husband, I'll tell him that myself" their meeting done the shadow left.
About three days passed, and the first day, the group of six ran into a man who wanted to get his sick mother medicine so Asta picked the man up jump on Filo and they took off once there the teen sees how sick she was he decided take the medicine with the boosted effect of his shield she felt better then the man give him a bag of food as a thanks. Then, the two went back with the others and continued traveling.
The second day, they help out a trader from a group of bandits. Now, the tie-up bandits kept on talking, trying to anger them, getting tired of this Noelle decided to water blast them away. "You think they are going to be alright, captain" "I'm sure they're fine, she did the same thing to me and I came out fine" after that questionable answer, the trader thanked them and offered to teach them how to make jewelry only Tara and Noelle took up interest.
Then, the third day, after some talking to other traders and hearing about the three heroes. They made it to the temple where the magic gemstone can be found, but "Hey Bakasta, what does the gemstone look like?" "That's a good question." "Master, do you think the owner of the magic shop will know?" "But that means we have to go back, captain" they kept debating on going back or not. "Fine, I'll fly to the capital. Get her, then fly back here ok" Asta told the others "How are you going to bring her? You mention they don't fly brooms here" Noelle questioned. "I'll pick her up and carry her here" Then he transformed and flew to the capital. "You think master will be alright?" "You should be more worried about the owner, and why do you keep calling him that," the silver-haired teen questioned Raphtalia.
At the capital's gate, a few knights kept guard "You think that guy really cheated?" "If he did, there is no proof of it" The two knights kept talking "YOU TWO QUITE, I don't hear more about that kid" there leader show up, the other knight stood up straight "Even if there no evidence, he still cheated if I was against him he lose," "But sir are you sure he beaten the spear hero" "I don't care I'll face him here here and now" the moment he said that something crashed down from the sky scaring the knights. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT" One of the knights screams, then a black figure walks toward them, letting them see Asta in his bear robe. "Where did you come from?" "From the sky, now back away, I got something to do" "I think not you still have some questions to answer" he stood in the teen's way, before they knew what happened the teen appeared behind him and dropped something then continued walking. "Sir, he just passed you. What are you going to do?" They waited for a response, but he stood still, then he spit out blood and fell face first. They went to check on him to see a hole where armor for the belly should be with a heavy bruised stomach exposed. They looked back at the thing he tossed, which was a crumpled piece of metal. A few minutes later, the teen came back to the gate with the owner of the magic shop. Now there, more knights guarding "Halt there" the two stop from one, the knight's voice "I'll be taking you in for questioning" The teen gave him a look then he put up both arms and walked closer to the knight. The knights think it can't be that easy, but out of nowhere, Asta grab both side of the helmet of the taller knight, tare it in two bring it close to him then crushed the two pieces together when he finish, the teen show off the ball of scrap metal then drop it the others watching the interaction. "Does that answer your question?" The knights node their heads "Now can you guys get out of our way" they moved away, letting the two pass them, and out of sight.
Returning to the temple, Asta flew down with the old lady in his arms. "I'm back. Did anything happen when I was gone?" "Nothing much we just chatted, any problems at your end Bakasta" "Only a couple of knights tried get in my way" "Can you please put me down now" "Oh right sorry" he put the lady down on her feet "Great master, now we can find that gemstone" "It's captain, and let's go in this temple" then group of six and the lady enters the temple walking through the tunnel "Hey miss, do you know anything about this temple?" Filo asked the lady "Well actually this temple used to belong to an evil alchemist" "Really" "That's interesting. The man explained that this tunnel was abandoned because of the monsters" Asta told the rest of the group.
They made it to a room with one open empty chest "I wonder what was in this?" Tara spoke up "There's some writing. It says hope this evil seed won't make out" The lady read the writings on stone next to the chest. "Master, it's empty you think someone already took it" "It's captain, and we heard about the spear hero bringing a miracle seed to a village" "You think there is one and the same? captain" Tara question "From what hear about the spear hero he seems unreasonable and dumb" Noelle said. "Let's just hope those two seeds are not related," the lady told them.
Then they went down another tunnel, but Filo, in her filolial form, stood behind hearing Asta voice "Why will you ever think I'm your father" before her do anything "Filo, what wrong?" Raphtalia asked "Just father said something mean" "What are you talking about? Captain didn't say anything" Tara spoke up "Come on let's keep going" the male teen said, and they kept going straight. "Stop here" the lady says "Why?" he asks, they look down to see a monster's footprint "So this belongs to the monster here. Ok, let's keep going-" Before he finished his words, their torches went out, leaving them in the dark. Then they start hearing each other's voices saying awful things "Don't listen to the voices it's an illusion" the lady told them, Asta sensed something, then grabbed it midair, and he can't see it but it in his grasp. The lady cast a spell making bat-like monsters to be shown "So these things are reasonable, quick we get rid of those" After he gave the command they start killing the bats, he checked his hand to the bat still alive then squeezed until it went limp. "Is everyone ok?" "Just fine, Bakasta" "Same here, captain" "Master, it's just the voices" "You won't say those things, right? Father" "Filo it was just an illusion. I will never say that" When they are done talking, they relit their torches and begin to walk.
Now they made it to a cave opening where blue gemstones are sinking out, but a monster is sleeping, a big lion-like body, tiger stripes, and a snake head for a tail. "This the second time I've seen a snake for a tail" Asta spoke up "Well all we gotta do is-" but he was cut off by the three demi-humans and Filo running towards the monster. "Did they run?" Noelle asks him "I don't know, but let's start fighting it" Then two teens left the lady behind to help out. They kept fighting the monster every time it tried to attack Asta and Noelle, sending it back by shield backhanded or water attacks slowly overwhelming it. Until the male teen took hold of the monster's lion head, making it take hits from the other, then after it snake was cut off, he flipped over the monster, landing on its back then he grabbed his slayer sword decapitating it. "Ok now that done, let's get some gemstones" he punches the gemstone crystal into pieces, then grabs a handful.
Now outside the group of six and the lady are planning to get back to capital "Let's fly back there" the male teen say "But we can't fly like you, captain" "Noelle can use her sea dragon's cradle in her valkyrie dress to fly you guys" "Why will I have to do that?" "Do you want to travel for three days?" "Hm fine I have no choice then" both teens transformed Asta carrying the lady and Noelle carrying the rest of the group plus two carriages. The two flew to the capital, landed out of sight of the gate, and then walked in.
Inside of the magic, we see Filo turning a wheel, making magic threads using the gemstone "How much longer? I'm getting tired" she complained "Just keep going until you have enough threads for your dress" the owner told her "Come on Filo, when you're done, we can get some snacks" Raphtalia encouraged her "But why is the captain doing the same thing?" They see Asta turning a wheel with black gemstone making black threads.
After that, they gave the threads to the owner of the dress shop, then the next day they came back to see Filo's new dress. It was mostly white with blue and a big blue ribbon. "How do I look?" "You look great Filo" "Yeah" then she transformed into her filolial form with a blue ribbon. "Oh look, she's cute in her bird form" the tired looking woman said "Ya but one thing, did you even sleep at all?" Noelle asks "I'm fine, I can still-" Then she falls asleep "Captain I don't think we can leave her like this" "Your right, let's help her out" they start putting her away and leave some money then leave the shop.
Later that night, at the forest clearing where Asta and others are planning to sleep, but he has something else to do "Hey girls, can you give me your robes?" After asking them, they gave him their robes. Then he grabbed all their robes, his anti-magic threads, and shoved them in his shield. When finished, he took them out. They look the same but with a black five leaf clover on the back. "So you use your threads to put symbols on them" Noelle spoke up "Ya pretty much" Asta said, then they put back their robes.
A few seconds pass when they hear a humming noise "What that noise?" Raphtalia asked. The rest of them looked where the noise was to just see Noelle. She checked herself to put out a communication device "Oh the device is working" Tara said. They were told about it earlier. She opened the top of it. "Hello is anyone there" a female voice spoke, he gasp "Is that you, Nero?" "Yes, it's me. Well, we know it works now" "We?" Then another voice shows up "Hey there Asta" "Oh hi Sally" then Noelle cuts in "Anyway Nero can you get the wizard king and the captains" "Sorry it's very late but I can write-up a report" "Alright then this going to take awhile" he said. Then Asta and Noelle began to speak about what he was doing, and she explained about demi-humans, why they were enslaved, and who was responsible.
Once there was done, Sally spoke up "So these demi-humans are like humans with animal's parts" then Nero says "And they enslave the others are not going to like this" "I know I was really mad when I heard about it too" He said. "It's late. We should communicate later" "Ok bye Nero" then Noelle closes the device. "How mad would they be?" Asta asked her "I don't want to know, let's go to sleep" Then they went to their sleeping bags,and ended the night. On day twenty-seven.
