The story distorts, and youth had ended.
The Pandora's Box had been opened.
All we have to do is to sit back and watch what had happened.
Before the prologue and before the story had came to be.
There is no multiple endings for a story that had concluded long ago.
Where hope no longer exists and happy endings had lost it's meaning.
The enigmatic teacher had tried his best.
Yet even the best is not enough.
Being responsible, is not that simple.
Or,
Hans taught the GSC President something important about being responsible.
"The Teacher of SCHALE. The Captain of The Last Battalion. The Last Warrior of Gaia.
And, our dear protagonist of this distorted story of youth."
A man walks into view. Holding a screaming, distorted image of a man upright to what should've been his face
as a torn trench coat worn half heartedly upon his body.
"Do you see it now, teacher no- our protagonist? This is where your story had started and ended at the same time. The first story where your plot armor sheds and melted away, given away to another protagonist and antagonist at the same time.
Leaving you to the dust as an afterthought. A side character of no renown."
A pause.
"…Yet, you still serve as the key driver of this jumbled mess of a story. Buried underneath the fingers of those who thought themselves a part of the major story, yet the true one hasn't been written just yet."
A small, amused laugh left his lips.
"How irksome. Being a part of a fantasy. An imagination. A perversion of something that had yet to transpire… or yet to be concluded."
He paused once more. Trembling from an unforeseen frustration.
"Enough of that. Instead, let us remember the unsung past. I want you to see the beautiful destruction blessed by the Goddess of Death herself, just like that… ah, right.
To enjoy a war without end, back to your beloved battlefield that is London, thanks to that fat cyborg. |
Heh, moving on from it, I want you to see it all before it began.
A prologue within a prologue that has yet to exist.
Doesn't this excite you, our beloved protagonist?"
There's no answer.
"Oh, you don't have to answer. I know you wanted to see it either way. Hidden underneath that cage you call a skull, you already know what am I talking about.
A vivid dream that casts every once and again to reality only those beyond us.
The strokes of a dying pen, the scribbles upon a forgotten paper, a tapping of a keyboard with wrinkled fingers, and letters on an unsaved document.
It doesn't matter the medium or the method, what matters is… the contents of it that you had so locked deep."
There is still no answer.
"She said you wouldn't remember. Haha, what an amusing joke if it wasn't so sad."
He shook his "head" as the painting sways left and right.
"Now, let's end this endless squabbling of the incomprehensible,
and open the Pandora's Box together, shall we?"
Darkness ensues, and like a typhoon it came quick and left the same without leaving a trace.
Memories of those he had lost, of those he had forgotten.
Of what remains, at the end of time.
Only darkness, and a prophecy as it came into reality.
The final night, as the sun had retreated forever and wouldn't shine its light upon the ruins of what once was.
Those that you had tried to save.
Those you had failed.
Those you had left behind.
Those that relied on you.
That smile you would never be seen again.
"In this beautiful, meaningless and indecipherable world without context, even with all the powers you had, the strength you posses, and the experience you had for uncountable years fighting endlessly,
It's all meaningless.
The truth hurts, doesn't it?"
The image shifts as the lock continued to break.
the chains twisting and bending till it shatters as the key is twisted up and up and up.
CRACK.
Remnants of a distorted time. Of a shattered world where everyone was caught in it's maws. Consumed and destroyed, leaving embers of what was once was.
Pieces laid upon the gravel as blood defiled the land and left it to rot.
CRACK!
Crosses continued to rise as everything crumbled, the images grew clearer and endless. Infinitely streaming down like a stream of putrid water upon the tainted lands.
CRACK!
"It's okay to choose who
you want to be."
"My Princess. You are our herald, and our salvation.
I'll guide you to this path we are destined to do, if you just take my hand,
my dearest princess."
CRACK!
"If it's their dream,
then it's mine too."
"You have failed.
You know the agreement. All of you are expelled.
Stop dreaming, and face the truth."
CRACK!
"I wanted… to thank you, for everything."
"I'm not strong enough. I'm… pathetic.
Sensei… I… I'm…. sorry…
Don't… cry for me…. A…ko…"
CRACK!
"You're not a witch. You're my student."
"WITCH! MURDERER! BACKSTABBER! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE THE LAST TEA PARTY MEMBER ALIVE?!
DOES IT FEEL GOOD WITCH?! TO HAVE POWER ALL TO YOURSELF?!"
CRACK!
"Go ahead, I'll take responsibility for the blowback."
"RABBIT 1? RABBIT 3? R-RABBIT 4?! A-Anyone?!
Please… anyone… answer me… please… please…
Miyako, Moe, Miyu… please…"
Sensei…"
CRACK!
"I'll give you, infinite chances!"
"…Stay safe, princess… I'll… take it from here.
I trust… the rest of you to protect… her."
CRASH!
The last chain were torn apart as the lock crumbles to rust and ash along with the key. The box remains still. Waiting as the last obstacle remained.
A simple lid that is unlocked, unchained, and unremarkable.
Reaching out, it was pushed ever so slowly. Creaking as it scrapes the box over and over again.
"All you have to do is to sit back… and read along with me."
With one last push, the lid fell onto the void. Crashing and breaking into uncountable pieces. THE BOX had been opened without a way to close it back.
"Enjoy the ride, and remember everything you hadn't done."
Author's note:
The plot bunnies had won.

Like always, English is not my first language so expect grammatical or typing hiccups here and there. I do check on my stuff but there are bound things that I miss because I am blind and english is not my first language.
LIKE ALWAYS, NO BETA WE DIE LIKE MEN!
Enjoy!
