Chapter 3: The Argo:
Jason's POV:
I found the man named Argus. "Argus," I asked.
"Yeah, what do you want," asks Argus.
"I have a quest, and I need some transportation," I said.
"And what would I get out of it," asks Argus.
"The recognition for building the ship that helps find the Golden Fleece," I said.
"That's just a myth," says Argus, "but I do like a challenge. Alright."
. . .
"Turns out, I am the heir to the throne," I said.
"I'm sorry I never told you," says Chiron, "you must resent me."
"Never," I said, "you have always been my Father, Chiron and that could never change!"
. . .
The ship was getting built and the members of my new crew were coming. "So, what can you tell me about yourself," I asked.
"I am Meleager, Prince of Calydon and I would love to join you on this adventure!"
"What skills do you have," I asked.
Meleager showed his skills as a warrior. "I can help in any fight," says Meleager.
"You may join us," I said.
Then two men came. "I am Castor, and this is my brother, Pollux!"
"And what can you two do," I asked. They then showed their skills. "You may join us!"
"I would like to join! I am Atlan! I am a skilled Huntre- hunter!" Atlan then demonstrates.
"You may join," I said. I'll allow her to continue pretending to be a man. "Anyone else?"
We then heard music. "I am Orpheus!"
"And what are your skills," I asked.
"I am a bard," says Orpheus.
The others shrugged. "I'm not sure how a bard can be of great help," I said.
Then a sea creature came and was about to attack us, but Orpheus played music and put it to sleep. "I can do that," says Orpheus.
"You may join," I said.
. . .
"The Argo is ready," says Argus.
"Argo," I asked.
"I built this ship, so I name it," says Argus.
"Very well," I said, "then we shall be... the Argonauts!"
"I like it," says Argus, "Jason and the Argonauts!"
"Let us set sail," I said. We were then off on our adventure.
