Chapter 4: Women of Lemnos:

Jason's POV:

We were sailing to find the Golden Fleece.

"So, if we do find this fleece... what do we do with it," asks Pollux.

"I become King of Iolcus," I said, "long story."

"If you prove yourself as a leader on this journey, I will call you a king," says Meleager.

"Right now, you're a captain," says Argus, "so, start captaining!"

"Right," I said, "Argus, you fix any damages we might get! Meleager, you're on look out! Atlan and Castor, clean things up! Pollux, you have kitchen duty! Orpheus, play your music!"

"Yes, Sir," they all said.

. . .

We then stopped on the island of Lemnos!

"I wonder what we should expect here," says Atlas.

Then these attractive women showed up. "Welcome to Lemnos! I am Hypsipyle and we wish to make your stay very welcoming!"

"Thank you," I said, "but... that won't be necessary..."

"Hold it," says Castor, "it would be rude if we didn't accept their hospitality!"

"UUUUUUUUUmmmmmmmmm... I don't know," says Atlan, "I don't like the way they're looking at me... I mean any of us!"

Since Atlan is clearly a woman in disguise... this must be very awkward for her! "I think we should go," I said.

"Too late," says Argus, "they pulled the others away!"

"I see," I said.

. . .

The women were very nice to us... perhaps a bit too friendly.

"I think we should never leave," says Pollux.

"We are on a quest," I said.

"Right... the fleece," says Pollux.

"Where's Atlan," asks Meleager.

"I'm serious," says Atlan.

"Just one kiss!"

"Y-you're not my type," says Atlan. She then grabs Atlan's helmet, and everyone was able to see. The woman then awkwardly ran away. "Oh no!"

"Atlan," says Meleager, "you're a woman?"

"My real name is Atalanta and... I knew that if any of you knew I was a woman, you would not allow me to come along!"

"You knew the whole time, didn't you," asks Argus.

"It was pretty obvious to me," I said.

"Guess that means you were worried for nothing," says Argus, "come on and sit with us!"

"You can sit with me... if you like," says Meleager.

Atalanta then sat down. "I have a feeling our hosts won't show you that much hospitality," says Castor.

"Honestly, I think this is too much," says Atalanta, "I hope none of these women are..."

"Hey," says a woman to Atalanta, "looks like my sister was right."

"Oh no," says Atalanta.

. . .

I was walking when I ran into Hypsipyle. "Jason, there's something you should know," says Hypsipyle.

. . .

"My people... they sacrificed all the men," says Hypsipyle, "to the Goddess, Aphrodite!"

"Did you," I asked.

"I spared my Father," says Hypsipyle, "but if any of them were to find out..."

"We'll try to help you," I said. I then looked and swore I saw someone watching us...

. . .

I told the others. "We gotta get outta here," says Castor.

"I knew there was something about them I didn't like," says Atalanta.

"What we need to do is stop them," I said.

"Hey Jason," says Argus, "you said you thought someone was spying on you, right?"

"Yes, why," I asked.

"Because the others are about to kill your friend," says Argus.

"We have to stop them," says Atalanta.

"There's one problem," says Pollux.

"Let me guess... none of you would hurt a woman," asks Atalanta.

"No," I said, "but you would!"

Atalanta smiles.

. . .

Atalanta then beats them down. "Thank you," says Hypsipyle.

"Are you sure you won't come with us," I asked.

"I have to set things right," says Hypsipyle. She then kisses me on the cheek. "Farewell!"

We then left.
