Chapter 7: Procrustes:

Theseus' POV:

We were walking when we heard a scream. We then ran...

. . .

We saw a man stretching another man. "I forgot he was here too," says the Drunk.

"Who is that man," I asked.

"Procrustes the Stretcher," says the Drunk, "he has two beds, and he'll offer one to you, but if you're too short, he'll stretch you and if you're too tall, he'll cut off your feet!"

"What is wrong with these people," asks Phaedra.

"I got this," I said.

"Are you going to give this one a taste of his own medicine too," asks Phaedra.

"Oh yeah," I said.

Circe's POV:

I arrived and saw Ariadne looking at the beast again. She is so sympathetic towards that thing, it's so ridiculous!

Theseus' POV:

I walked over to Procrustes. "Are you tired, Traveler," asks Procrustes.

"Very," I said, "do you have a place where I can rest?"

"Of course," says Procrustes, "come and sit here!"

"Wait," I said, "is it comfortable?"

"As comfortable as a hot tub," says Procrustes.

"Why don't you show me," I asked.

"Very well," says Procrustes. He then lies in the bed, but he proved too tall.

"Too tall," I said. I then cut off his legs.

"GAH! YOU..." I then cut off his head.

Circe's POV:

"Theseus, the real challenge is waiting for you," I said.

Theseus' POV:

"Well," asks Phaedra.

"Next stop... Athens," I said.
