Chapter 7: Medea:
Medea's POV:
My name is Medea and I've been having this strange dream... A group of warriors come for the Golden Fleece. They are the bravest men... wait... one of them is a woman! They are the bravest people! Their leader... I believe I love him! He faces the dragon and...
. . .
I always wake up before I could see who wins.
. . .
I spoke with my Mother. "It's possible your dream was actually a vision, Medea," says Mother, "you have already developed mystical powers from my side of the family."
"Then... you believe it might be possible I would meet these people one day," I asked.
"It is possible," says Mother, "but I hope they don't try to take the Fleece. You know how the dragon gets!"
. . .
I know this sounds odd, but I usually pray to the Goddess, Hecate. I know she's not a popular one, but as a sorceress myself, I figured she could help... plus I have an interest in the dark. "Hecate, please, show me these warriors," I said. She then showed me...
. . .
I saw them on Lemnos! I saw the female warrior fight the women of Lemnos. I wish I could be tough like that!
. . .
I then saw them on Bear Mountain where they kill innocent people. I was horrified, but they seemed to regret their actions.
. . .
I then saw one of them boxing the king of the Bebryces and won!
. . .
"They're amazing," I said, "they're incredible! They're..." I then realized. "They're doomed!"
. . .
I went down the stairs and saw the dragon. It tried to eat me, but I teleported out. Those heroes... they may not make it out!
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, the Argonauts meet Phineus. Medea worshipping Hecate was not supposed to say she was bad, I'm just imagining her being gothic.
