The Wanderers Library was much like Slivereye had described it, tall imposing bookshelves , towering over any that entered the premises filled with countless tomes. Supposedly Redd couldn't enter this place, which made it as good a place as any to take shelter. Now if they could keep Leora from bleeding to death.
Mabel looked at Silvereye, who was kneeling next to Leora clearly in deep concentration. From what she could tell that odd sentient scarf was pulling double duty as both a tourniquet and keeping the dark magic from festering. From how Silvereye began to relax as she worked she could tell that Leora's condition was no longer critical.
"Where are we?" Rainer asked.
The Ex SCP then answered him "We're in the Wanderer's Library. A sort of crossroads between realities." She then sighed and stood herself up, being mindful of the blood on her clothes, and carefully placed the tome she held in her hands into a nearby bookshelf. "She is recovering now, but she needs more time to heal, until then, could you bring my med-kit to me so that I may take a closer look at the rest of you?," She then walked away sitting on a near chair with a sigh. Miller grabbed the med kit and brought it to her. She moved slower than normal as she began pulling various medical supplies out and setting them next to her.
"Looks like most of you got away with minor scrapes. This will sting a bit."
"How come Redd can't enter here?" Dipper asked as he slightly flinched from the sting of the disinfectant.
"It is under the Serpent's domain, Nahash doesn't just let anyone enter here." She inhaled as she elaborated. "Long story short, the Librarian doesn't like him." Then she glared at Meri's state. "Don't even think of going anywhere."
8 hours later, more or less…
It was hard to keep track of time when there was no sunlight.made worse as their watches seemed to glitch even the analog watches seemed to go backward in time.
Leora was still unconscious on an improvised bed , but Silvereye seemed confident she would wake up soon, but then she said that some time ago.
Miller was brooding with heavy eyebrows frowning as he sat near the unconscious Lightfoot with both hands locked together.
Meri, who had regrown her arms, intensively looked at the news on a 90s-looking TV as she sat on the ground, the news told of the massacre in the hospital with the blurred picture of a red humanoid figure and warning the viewers of the disturbing live camera feed on the crime scene.
Despite the grime tone the anchorwoman also commendation Bes for his valor in saving many lives in the cost of himself only for whatever the anchorwoman was gonna say next was stopped when the blaring sound of the machine connected to someone far away from the camera was heard making the doctors to sprint fast and then the sound of defibrillators could be heard charged, they tried to get close as the camera couldn't catch Bes but the police stopped them.
Mabel seeing the ever more distressing look of Meri and not having the stomach to watch this as well decided to shut it down with a controller before tossing it away on the table and walking away.
Mabel felt useless, normally she would make a joke after life-threatening adventures but this simply was just neither the time nor the place for that, not with one of her friends who literally lost a limb and was still on the bed unconscious. She desperately wanted to grow the spirit of the group but she had no idea how to do so, for the first time the socially adept Pines just didn't know how to do this.
Wendy paced back and forth, her face frowning. She stopped.
"Whatever," she grunted. "I am out to check on him."
Mabel nodded in silence. Dipper had not come back for hours, so she understood Wendy's impatience. As Wendy walked away, Mabel turned to look at SCP-999, which grew unusually calm.
Mabel went to check on the gelatinous entity on the other side of where they stayed secluded between two shelves where it was almost dark because of so many books blocking the light and not any light source existing there.
They were reading a book as they stood up or at least the Pines girl thought so as she doesn't know if they can even read and not every book here is written in English.
She asked, " Hey, Whatcha reading?" the Vermillion being took his eyes off and looked at her.
They still held kind eyes but something was different and changed, the face while still maintaining kindness reflecting their nature also carried uncertainties and anxiousness, kinda like teenhood as she would have amusedly thought if not for seeing the tragedy that was the end of childhood.
Gurgle
I"'m fine," she tried to speak. "But...relative, I guess?"
She grunted.
"Though that red scumbag," she managed to blurt out. "Ugh, that jerk knocked me out hard." She tried to add some levity which though the Vermillion Prince appreciated, did not lift their spirit, seeing this she decided to be direct about it.
"What's bothering you?
They sat near a table and put their book there as she sat near them as well.
As she came to realize that the book was an alphabet, they were trying to learn to communicate with mixed results of course apparent when they tried writing in a notebook.
'Whi, thoes, ist feel poisonous then mad/'
She sighed, understanding the message as she after being quiet formulated a response.
"Sometimes it's good to be angry." she then continued with a hand gesture "Look, I'm not a philosopher and I'm certainly not a grown-up, but even I know you can't always ignore the ugly."
She then tried to elaborate further seeing Prince's confusion "There's no such thing as bad emotions inherently, anger can motivate you in righting wrongs, fear can keep you alive and too much…I say feeling content? constantly happy I guess? Something like that can lead to ignorance."
The Prince then started writing: 'Bu, Fatha is too Angry and he, going cruel"
The Pines decided to ask them rhetorically this time.
"Are you afraid of becoming your father? Don't be silly." She snorts at that assumption "Did you like being angry? Do you like inflicting pain on others?"
'No.'
She smiled and answered.
"Trust me, evil people aren't as selfless as you, enough to face their scary father to save a stranger," She assured him with a very grateful tone for them saving her even though they did not look convinced completely.
"You can't expect to have the key to everything, trust me I know, I've been in a similar position as you. But as long as you have people you can count on?"
She pointed to herself and the place others were "You already carried enough by yourself, let others carry with you too." she said, the Vermillion Prince contemplated and then they wrote 'Thnak uoy.' Mabel then opened her arms gesturing them for a hug which they reciprocated and they hugged.
'Still got it.' she internally giggled happy that she at least managed to put one of her friends at ease, though that's maybe because of the Vermillion jelly's anomalous ability, which certainly adds favor to making their hugs enjoyable.
—-
They weren't the only ones in this boundless library, a few times Wendy during her walk saw other travelers around the library some humanoid while most looking utterly bizarre: like a centipede creature with windows on each of its bodies, a humanoid that instead of the head had a literal flower growing out of it and some sort of hunched back mechanical life form wearing hooded clothing which obscured its form beyond a few beeping red and blue lights visible and a literal antenna attached to its back, a literal yellow octopus as tall as a human or maybe bigger, the Corduroy once even saw some human or at least she thinks she was a human mixed races with arcane black tattoos on her forehead holding a few books wearing some medieval style dress that made her look like she came from some medieval comic-con party.
As she walked, she finally reached where Dipper was, he was intensely reading a book on a chair with a series of books piled together on which Eir sat and she looked at some of the books out of curiosity.
A rather gothic-looking book named in Latin style.
'Codex Imperius'
A blackish brown book with golden was titled
'Dr. P's Extraordinary Guide To Magic Mystery'
A book with neon light blue around it glowing that looked rather futuristic dubbed.
'Arcanite Arrakin Arcadia'
Some book with the picture of a green-haired witch wearing white called
'Azura's Unused Scripts'
A book that looked like it was made by some British punk with bright colliding colors from pink to green, blue and purple like street graffiti.
'Sic Semper Tyrannis'
A black obelisk-looking book with octopus limbs around it labeled.
'Emissaries of Outer Dark'
A cyberpunk-looking book with gold and green dubbed.
'Necromata'
A book with bone insignias titled.
'Dr. Crackpot's Book of the Damned'
Another book with feathers and wings as aesthetics is titled.
'Heavenly Comedy'
This one had random pictures from the Moon Landing but with Soviet insignia to Yerens in their tree-looking buildings and Dinosaurs holding futuristic tools.
'Secret Alternate Histories'
Needless to say, none of them were average books you can find in any library and as she glanced she saw the book the Pines boy was holding was an antique-looking book named 'Ancient Weapons of Bygone Eras.'.
Eir chirped at him to take notice and he took his eyes off the book and saw Wendy who then asked.
"Hey dude, what are you reading?" She saw some black circles around his eyes saying he had been reading for hours non-stop.
He replied.
"I was trying to learn more about the Spear." He then commanded his Spear which appeared out of thin air near him on a standstill on the lengthy chair.
"Did you find anything about it?" She questioned as she glanced a bit at the spear, she had to admit it was a beautiful work of marksmanship.
"Only that the spear is said to be once held by the first king of man and that presumes to be true, not mere mythology or it is the current version I have from the same Earth, not a parallel one." he rubbed both eyes out of tiredness "Disadvantages of a multiversal library I guess, only mostly on its abilities."
Wendy as she walked around him then took notice of a strange book on the shelf.
'Flayed Skin of Yaldabaoth.' was the name of the book and oddly it was almost like it was made of real skin and bones, when she nearly touched it the book-
Screeched!
It suddenly came to life screeching with its pages opened like a mouth with teeth falling on the ground making her back away and point her ax at it in defense but the book instead of attacking her grew 4 crab-like legs and ran away as it hissed.
"Yeah, some of the books here may be alive." The Pines boy said it so nonchalantly that it suggested this wasn't the first time he saw a book coming alive which the redhead did not know to find it amusing or disconcerting as she put her ax back to the sheath.
She then smirked knowingly as she looked at some books.
"Not to sound judgemental or anything, but how does 'Azura's Unused Scripts' have to do anything to the spear?"
He gave a weak awkward smile in mock surrender and admitted.
"Yeah, this place has so much knowledge that I may as well spend an eternity and never scratch the surface of it, I think I went overboard." he then closed the book and put it with the rest of the pile. "But I did mean I said, I learned some things about the weapon, such as it apparently has a mind of its own hence why it seemed to choose me as its bearer:" he touched the Spear of Non-believer which then converted into a silvery slanted dagger one side for stabbing and the other side for slashing "I just learnt my spear can change into any other melee weapon if I want to, hopefully by things we can learn of this place we won't be helpless against another run-of-the-mill slasher villain."
' Helpless…' that word triggered something in Wendy's mind.
Her mother moves between her and the dagger-wielding cultist resulting in it to pierce through her heart and when she was little crying over her mother's body as her blood coated the snow red.
She was now the carpet, no body, no limbs, no mouth, no ears, inanimate, couldn't even scream only consciously and despite all she helplessly saw as Bill imprisoned Stans and then morphed into an eldritch abomination.
"I GOT SOME CHILDREN I NEED TO MAKE INTO CORPSES!" followed by him going after the running Mabel and Dipper as the Stans watched helplessly.
Mr Redd with his blades gave an expression of undiluted sadism as the irises of his eyes glowed red in the dark shouting.
"Now excuse me, I have some CHILDREN TO MURDER!"
'Behind the tough act and the cool mask. You are just a little girl crying for her mommy. ' was the cruel voice of the murderer of her mother taunting her.
' We both know that's a lie ." the deranged mirror reflection of herself taunted when she was under the influence of the Prince of Many Faces.
Bill held both Dipper and Mabel taunting that he was going to kill one of them for the heck of it in front of the trapped Stans as she was utterly useless to do anything as his singular eyes switched between Pine Tree and Shooting Star.
"EENIE!"
"MEENIE!"
"MINEY!"
"YOU!"
His finger is ready to snap and kill his chosen Pines to execute or worse.
"Wendy? you're alright?" Dipper called her name as she looked like she was in a trance which snapped her out of her trance.
"I'm fi-.." she stopped herself as she grunted "I think I'm fine." She said with an exhausted look, after that, she sat near him after he invited her to sit.
There were moments of silence before Wendy shouted out her frustration to the sky(if the Wanderer's Library even had a sky) with both hands up she shouted.
"This SUCKS!"
"Tell me about it." Mason groaned and joined her frustrated party.
Eir seemed to share their mood as she with a tired chirp.
"It's been 2 years! You would think we would get used to all these mental gymnastics and strange horrors by now!" the redhead starts her rants.
"Or emotional rollercoasters for that matter." Dipper blanky added.
"Ugh! I was supposed to be the cool one but over these past few days, I feel like a wreck! Just a moment ago I had an episode when I got turned into a carpet!" Her vexation was palatable as her rants got louder and louder.
"Carpet? You mean- oh." Dipper stopped when he comprehended that she meant Weirdmageddon when she and others got turned into carpets by Bill.
"Oh yeah! As someone who experienced that, I can say: turning into an inanimate object is not fun at all!" She shook both hands and shivered a bit at that memory.
The brunette boy then wondered.
"Man, did you try to talk to Soos about that? It happened to him too."
The Corduroy girl snorted at that.
"It's Soos dude, love the guy but he doesn't get shaken by anything safe for his neglectful dad." her head goes down for a moment.
"Besides, is not just Bill, it's everything related to the Scarlet King and the whole Foundation crap," she gestured with a hand around to everything as her head slowly went up "One moment you learn your mother was killed in a satanic ritual then there's a parasite god tormenting you for kicks, a giant lizard, a dimension-hopping sadistic ghoul, a gun enthusiastic maniac, a clown doctor with zero self-preservation, a wannabe slasher villain with a fixation on red and oh you learn you have a lost sibling who is a sentient jelly AND HAVING THE ATTENTION OF A HYBER EVIL ELDRITCH GOD IS THE CHERRY ON TOP!" After that her shouting match starts to cool down and inhale deeply.
Comically, a few of the travelers that came into the Wanderer's Library showed up and "Shhh!" Then over the loud rant with hand or claw or tentacles or whatever they had, afterwards they went back to whatever they were doing which made the Pines glance back in surprise before turning his attention back to her and asking.
"Do you feel better?"
Wendy huffed loudly and her back rested on the chair's top.
"Yeah, actually feel better putting off steam." she said with relief in her voice.
Chirp
"You too huh?" She gave a glance to Therapy Bird, considering she felt some aura of calmness coming from her, so did Dipper. They were sure she was a part of the reason why they didn't fall into full-on depression. They just stood there with Dipper not even reading anymore as they glanced at the surrounding era for minutes until Wendy decided to get up and uttered.
"Come on, your sister is getting worried about you, and you look like you need a rest." She meant Dipper's black circles around his eyes, he wanted to protest but Eir's chirp said he should get some rest, if it was two years ago he wouldn't have done so and spent days straight with no sleep; however, over the years he has learned that you can't help anyone if you can't help yourself, that and Bill taking advantage of him when he was sleep deprived also hammered this point to him. And so, he nodded to Eir and got up as the redhead girl gestured to him to follow her and they went to join with others.
Leora mumbled as the darkness faded to give to the light, from what she could gather she was on a couch in some big library considering all the shelves filled with books she was seeing and there were her friends with Silvereye circling around her looking worried with the sentient scarf around her moving.
"I'm…alive?" it was more a disbelief statement than a question.
Meri asked.
"How are you feeling?"
She groaned in fatigue and explained how she felt.
"I feel what Bright is like whenever he gets under Clef's nerves." She tried to move but then she noticed something, she couldn't feel one of her arms, "Wait…why can't I feel my left arm?" She stopped getting up feeling too afraid to look at her left side.
Silvereye sighs and explains her situation.
"When you faced Redd…he took your left arm." She shows her a mirror revealing the reason why she couldn't feel her left arm.
Lightfoot looked at the mirror in abject horror and her voice became tense.
"It's…gone!" Leora looked like she was gonna faint any moment.
Mabel nervously tried to cheer her up "Well it's..uh…she said she had a spare cybernetic for you," she didn't see her brother begging her to stop by gesturing his hand "Cool right? You get to have a robot arm."
Miller as he nervously smiled grinded his teeth muttered hastily to the Pines girl.
"Not, helping Mabel!"
Wendy decided to intervene to say something that would at least alleviate her panic a bit.
"You saved triple 9, they wouldn't be dead if it weren't for you."
SCP-999 gurgled sadly.
Gurgle
Lightfoot then had an idea in her mind as she desperately inquired.
"C-ca-can't it just…regrow? There were a few sarkis we passed by in 3 Portlands."
Silvereye answered her despairing inquiry.
"Unfortunately it takes a Karcist Level Sarkic to regrow lost limbs of someone other than themselves who are rare, that or a sarkite with access to old lore."
"B-but what about Meri? She regenerated her head for God's sake!"
Meri sympathetically responded.
"Controlling my own body is different from controlling someone else's body, but I am a child of a nature pagan so maybe if I can learn more on how to control my powers…" she pondered a bit before speaking again. "But until I can verify that, I'm afraid to say you have to use a prosthetic."
Leora said words that she did not mean.
"Cool, cool." She suddenly gets up and walks in his front's direction.
"All we have to do is find some Sarkic sorcerer and beg to regrow my arm or wait for Meri to get a grasp on her power." She then using her one hand disheveled her own hair and looked at her friend's back slightly delirious.
"Right? Right?"
Her friends nodded quickly alarmed by seeing her suffering a nervous breakdown with Miller whispering in other's ears with one hand near his mouth.
" She's not alright."
Mabel decided to try to at least calm her a bit by offering her help.
"And if you need, I can decorate the arm to your liking."
She was oblivious to what the Pines girl said as she looked at the sentient scarf which read 'Saved.'
Wendy choosed to continue.
"Uh for what it's worth dude, it was a very brave action to save them," by them, she meant the Vermillion Prince to help in keeping her from suffering a nervous breakdown.
Despite the delirious state of the Photonic girl Silvereye decided that she deserved to know all in context so she elaborated "You were also infected and if it weren't for the scarf holding on the dark magic infection would have been spread and put your life in serious jeopardy."
Suddenly, Lightfoot's expression went uncharacteristically dark as she gazed back and in a flash, a photonic-clawed machine appeared from thin air and grasped Silvereye by her throat in midair causing everyone alarmed by this.
"Did you know about this!?" she hissed with a threat in her undertone.
"Woah woah!" Dipper exclaimed.
"Don't do something you'll regret!" Meri shouted.
"This isn't like you!" Miller said.
"DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS!? Is that why you gave me the scarf!?" she roared this time.
The ARC SCP gagged due to the pressure around her neck to formulate a response "I-I didn't know. And even if… Xolotl and Nahash aren't the type to play with mortals' lives cruelly."
Leora's face from anger then changed into defeat immediately felt regret for threatening her life as the photonic construct disappeared and she got free holding her neck as she inhaled audibly.
"I. I think I need to…I think I need to…cool down…" her knees felt weak and she nearly dropped on the ground if it weren't for Wendy and the Prince jumping in and holding her from falling.
28 minutes later, more or less….
Thanks to Vermillion Prince and Eir's empathetic ability she calmed down, it also helped that that Leora's friends were all there to make sure she wouldn't go hysterical and give her support, Mabel as a nice gesture painted on her new robotic limb which Silvereye brought and helped to attach it to paint with pink and green and writing 'Get Well' and Silvereye being a technopath made sure the machine to work and attach without difficulty, even though Leora was still a bit shaken she had to admit having a robot arm was cool especially when it was steampunk looking and yet moved and act like a real arm.
"I'm a mess." She voiced depression and looked down dejectedly as she sat on a chair.
Wendy put a hand on her shoulder and said "Don't sweat it dude, it's a normal reaction to losing a limb, frankly I'm sure I would have gone mad and tried to behead Silvereye in such a state instead of just holding her by her throat." that managed to give her a small chuckle as Wendy's hand came off from hee shoulder. Afterwards, she gratefully thanked everyone as she got a bit flustered.
"Thanks…everyone." Everyone except for the Ex SCP who were here glad to see her now doing okay noded, the Technopath SCP said she had some errands to do.
"It's the least we can do." the Friendly Neighborhood Keter said while Wendy put her hand on her shoulder and got up.
Lightfoot then put both the biological and mechanical hands on her knee and a question came to his mind, partly to make her temporarily forget about her condition "So…while I was unconscious, did anything happen?"
Mabel grinned and said something that would take the group by surprise as she gestured to Vermillion Prince eating a chocolate bar.
"Actually yes, this bundle of joy wants to be called Abraxas the Vermillion Prince."
The photonic SCP befuddled by this asked like she heard something wrong.
"What?"
She was not the only one surprised by that as the Pines boy asked for clarification.
"I'm sorry, I think I just heard 'they' as in not you inventing names?"
"They learned English." the Pines girl simply responded.
"When!?" Leora sputtered.
"Today, though, I think at least that's the name they want to be called because their English needs working." She then showed them a note written by the now-named Abraxas; each word of it was in a different color which Mabel found cute as others.
Wendy couldn't help but crack a joke.
"Actually I'm jealous at how quick of a learner they're, It took me far longer to learn English when I was a kid."
"I also learned a few things." Dipper showed a silvery dagger which by his will turned into a Spear as they looked in fascination.
The redhead girl then remarked.
"Yeah, with stuff we can learn here we would be able to fight back."
Dipper's expression suddenly went serious as he spoke.
"About that…I think we should go back to the Foundation and others and leave this to them."
"What??- what do you mean??- eh?" they exclaimed at what he just said.
"That doesn't sound like you quitting." Mabel noted, was also surprised by his suggestion since she knew her brother as someone determined and persistent. Mason then put both hands up as they exclaimed.
"I know this may sound like defeatism but let's face facts: We are kids, we aren't soldiers, and this isn't some run-of-the-mill adventure where we would survive unscarred or even alive." He then commanded the spear to disappear. "How many times by now we danced at the edge of death and insanity? Mabel nearly lost her sanity, Wendy got plagued by a parasite god and now Leora lost a limb!" he gestured to Lightfoot's mechanical limb as she then started to touch it with her other hand.
"How much do we have to suffer and lose? I hate to say it and I really hate to say it mind you, but maybe Redd was right and we're over our heads." Everyone now looked thoughtful and it was clear by their expression that they were beginning to see his point, yet did not mean they liked it.
Meri with a defeated sigh then spoke.
"I hate to say it, but he's right.
Though of all it was Miller who was unconvinced as he showed to be conflicted about this as he questioned "But, are we just gonna give up?"
"And what do you think we should do? Pursue vengeance against the guy who just kicked our asses and probably killed a pagan god?" Meri's tone wasn't harsh but genuine which made him silent, not being able to respond to that, as the group was formulating something that came up.
Mabel noticed the sad look of SCP-999 and asked "You agree?" the jelly SCP then moved a note and wrote by their slime which said 'Tou merch suffer.'' The word 'suffer' was the only way which they wrote correctly, hammering down the fact to Mabel that they also feel like this is the logical course of action.
"I'm afraid it won't be so easy." They looked back to see who said it and saw Silvereye with her expression telling them she was bearing bad news as she showed them a laptop which had the Serpent's Hand sigil on the back of the monitor with a green hue and the monitor showed them something that made them grimace and mad.
"An Account named 'Crimson' with a lot of immature rude words just leaked the origin of Abraxas, even putting a file related to SCP-231 for all GOIs to see."
' Dear Chief Shadow Overlords.
I wanted to send you all this friendly insignificant information about the Foundation having custody of the 7th Child of the Scarlet King that is now out of their clunges and is currently with this ragtag group of eminent dead children dying in the most eviscerated and bloodies way possible to breaking the PG plot device. If you wondering the reason why I would reveal such Earth-shattering information about the Foundation's poster child for cute SCPs aka SCP-999 being secretly the offspring of Space Satan, is to merely instill as much grief possible to skippers and the soon-to-be mutilated brats as if cutting a chicken's limbs while alive and then cutting its head and boil it.
That's right, I'm going to EAT the still feathery chicken!
The link to secret files to SCP-231 and procedure 110-Montauk can be found here so as the photos of the face of the miscreants:
Wendy was the first one raging on.
"Oh that jackass piece of- !" she continued to shout curses as she stumped around angrily.
"Why don't you just pour the acid instead of rubbing salt, why don't ya!?" Leora gritted her teeth not liking Mr. Redd made fun of 'disarming' her as she sarcastically commented.
"Now can we make a crusade vengeance on him now!?" Wendy, still angry, spat.
"But that would mean every GOI is now after them!" Mabel held both hands on her cheek as she spoke her thoughts out loud.
Abraxas also wasn't pleased either as they looked nervous.
Dipper took a closer look and said what everyone guessed already.
"It's Mr Redd alright."
"Asshole decided to roll the ball." Miller snarked, the group realized since their bloody meeting the used-to-be easy-going SCP boy had become snarkier but they were too busy contemplating this new conundrum to ask about it.
"And most GOIs will not ask kindly to get their hands on the child of one of the most powerful beings in the Multiverse!" Lightfoot put her mechanical hand on her forehead as she groaned. "GOC may decide to weaponize triple 9, every terrorist group would want a piece of them and Neo-Sarkics would likely try to eat them to gain their power."
Mabel, aghast by the idea of SCP-999 being weaponized to be eaten upon among other things closed both of the Vermillion Prince's sides of their head except they had no physical ears so they were puzzled by her action.
"The bastard even put photos and names of us there!" Wendy barked while she felt the urge to plunge her ax into something.
"Well…it seems we are stuck here for now." Dipper noted as he rubbed his nose in an expression that was similar to Stanford's whenever he was frustrated.
Silvereye commented who was also not delighted by this development "Until this is over, I'm afraid so."
"YOU DID WHAT!?!" Dehak hearing what Mr Redd did by himself roared with his wings unclipped as a show of intimidation, he contacted Mr Redd through thaumaturgical means which was a circling angry fully red fire showing the face of Mr Redd who nonchalantly told him what he did when Dehak decided to give a call and see what was going on as a bit of smoke and fire came out of his mouth,
"YOUR JOB WAS TO ELIMINATE THE BASTARD CHILD OF OUR KING AND THE BRATS NOT TO PUT THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG FOR All OUR RIVALS TO SEE!"
For any other person having a draconic creature made of armor and mercury metal quite angry with smoke and fire coming from his mouth would be intimidating, but Mr Redd utterly unconcerned by this and wearing a sly smirk only served to aggravate the Black Apostle further as he then responded.
"Oh relax Pop, with the cat out of the bag those brats don't have much place to hide now everyone wants a piece of them and you know the meddling tykes, they can't resist getting out of the hiding."
"That's your prophet you dare speak in such an inane way flesh golem!" Dehak venomously said, "If the 7th child- !"
The red-wearing psychopath simply yawned, making Dehak simply glare harder at this smug creature and sarcastically added.
"Yes yes, you will get pissy yadda yadda yadda, how about you let me worry about this while you go do whatever abracadabra you are doing there? Call you when my job is done!"
Before Dehak could say any more threats Mr. Redd cut the connection, in Mr. Redd's side of the connection he was in some abandoned basement as he then moved back toward his victim, bloodied and tied to a chair showing signs of fatigue and being tortured who got spoken to by Mr Redd "What a zealous whiner, this is why I was never particularly religious." He got near to his tied victim as he then held his prisoner's chin up so that he could see him face to face "Is that right, Doctor?" His casual humor was replaced by a sinister grin as he asked his prisoner who whimpered.
